you will recover all did you hear what i just said i said whatever you've lost in the last 18 months by the grace of god you are going to recover all of it i'm waiting for you to wake up whatever was taken from you i am believing that this summer not a year from now but between now and labor day you shall recover all i need you to declare that as a word of affirmation over your life with everybody in this room declare out loud i will recover all come on i need you to say it again i will recover all and i want you to type that on the screen i will recover all if you know you're going to get it all back why do you have a problem giving it did you hear what i just said if you know you're going to give it get it all back why do you have a problem giving it the bible is very clear if you give it's going to come back to you but it's not gonna come back the same way that it was released from you because it's gonna come back to you exceedingly abundantly beyond what you can think dream or hope or even imagine i've been praying for you in earnest that this would be a season of unparalleled recovery and i'm not just talking about tangible things until my recovery of strength in your limbs a recovery of your ability to think without distraction a recovery here it is of the love that has been lost in your marriage recovery of everything that has been a subplot of the adversary against your business you are about to recover all of it but i want you to demonstrate that faith with me i just feel in this moment uh in this season i want to stretch the elasticity of your faith i want to challenge you on the first night of revival uh to partner with me and giving a seed of 100 on tonight i want you to do it with a hundred dollars to a future millionaire uh what's a hundred dollars for somebody who's about to close on a house you are not qualified for what is a hundred dollars for somebody who was going to school in august when you know you don't have the tuition in june what is a hundred dollars for somebody that both the bank and the lawyer said no to but god said yes for i want to challenge you for that gift of 100 all of those giving prompts are beneath me in at this moment i want you to please execute and utilize them i'm not telling you to do what i'm not doing myself i want you to give that seat match me in doing that if you don't have a hundred i don't want you to feel ashamed or embarrassed i want you to give a gift at your highest decibel you don't have a hundred i want you to give 50. you don't have 100 i want you to give 30. you don't have a hundred i want you to give 20. but i want you to give your best it's man that looks at the outer appearance it's god that looks at the heart because we're in this studio in virtual space you ain't got to walk down the aisle uh you don't have to feel ashamed about what you're putting in the basket i want you to give it by your phone i don't want you to delay and say i'll do it later on in the that's wednesday and thursday but tonight is tuesday and i'm believing that god is going to do something tonight is an intimate night for me uh on every level in every dimension uh the people who are coming to share uh with you from the treasure trove of heaven are people i have known literally most of my life i guess thomas is my lifelong friend as a matter of fact i don't remember when i didn't know him i i've known him literally i think since we're about 12 13 years old he's from arkansas i was from baltimore and we met on a trip to south africa and we went to south africa and if he don't tell i won't tell but it was a life-defining moment for both of us both of us are anointed by god the evidence is not because of our churches not even because i mentioned you know god is with us because he blessed both of us to become members of cap alpha psi fraternity incorporated so the blood is working on our favor uh and so i am grateful you know him he was coming to new birth long before i came he was one of bishop's favorite psalmist uh you know him all over the world from a song i don't know if you remember it but if i could sing it you'd never want to hear it again uh it's uh i need you now how many of you need god right now not just right now you need them right away uh and so i am grateful my covenant brother and friend uh pastor smoky norfolk is here and then i've got a treat for you tonight i am so excited i'm elated i am humbled uh that the man hear this y'all not gonna believe it uh but some of y'all are gonna question uh what happened in between this is the man when he preached is when i gave my life to christ at 13 years of age he was a youth revivalist he was our youth revivalist at my dad's church at bethelemy and i thought he was the greatest preacher in the world he preached a sermon on weeble wobbles and threw weeble wobbles out into the congregation and said watch them they not gonna fall down i don't even know how i got saved off of that uh but i got saved off of a weeble wobble sermon uh and he is still one of my favorite preachers uh he is now one of the leading voices a general of the gospel a father of the faith a bishop in the african methodist episcopal zion church and i am so grateful to have with us for the very first time bishop w darren moore give god a handclap of praise for both of them they are going to get uh come in just one moment and so let me tell you what i expect to happen i expect number one that whatever you need from god it is going to happen and number two i expect whoever is in your house that is not saved is gonna confess jesus christ as the lord of their life how many of you all expect souls to get saved tonight how many of you expect lives to be changed on tonight i want us please don't find that all of my loved ones are gone if i look around and see that my fake fickle phony friends have become few lord i'll keep holding on [Music] and if i call and i don't get an answer even in the midst of my despair i can still stand here tonight and testify oh god i know you've already already been good yes [Music] [Music] so as long as i live and i've got breath in this little body i'm gonna good so glad to sing they said we wouldn't make it and if you think about it we thought we wouldn't be here today but jamal i can testify i'm so glad so glad to see so glad to [Music] god is [Music] me and my wife know [Music] god still can't say yes and when i'm in trouble who is the same one that steps in and helps me pass every test [Music] my god my god my god my god my god is able yes i bless your name jesus god is it hey i don't care what you're going through he's able i am a living breathing testimony god is hey hey hey oh yes he is and [Music] he'll never forsake you my brother he'll be with you even until the end of the age he won't fail i don't care what it looks like on the outside god god won't fail weeping may endure for a night but good morning y'all joy comes in the morning time he he won't feel no no i've been formed against you he's gonna be able to prosper god won't god won't fail if you really believe it don't wait till the battle is over come on if you really know that god is a god that faileth not come on the suffering of this present time it ain't even worthy to compare to the glory that he's about to reveal come on your next season is going to be your best season he promised that your ladder will be greater than your former what's coming has got to be better than what has been he will not fail i don't care who's in the white house i don't care who's hanging out in your black house god will not fail he is the same yesterday today and forevermore and if you believe that god is able i don't want you to just lean on him but i want you to lay on him i need you to get as high as you can towards heaven in your living room in the break room if you in your car pull over because god's about to speak life he's about to send the rhema for your life the word of god is about to penetrate your heart and how am i gonna do it for you but if you need god to do it i need you to reach way down in your spirit come and reach way down and cry out to him and just sing i have been saying this in this church in decade in at least a decade but i believe i believe it started somewhere around here come on i need you to help me if you really want god to do it don't wait on your neighbor but go for it just say need you i'm waiting on you at home it's not about me it's about you and god i need you [Music] come on ask him ask him right now just tell him amen and to actually have real life folk that i'm looking at amen it has been over a year since i have preached in front of some real living folk who can talk back at me and not just add a screen hallelujah and so i am blessed on tonight i want to thank uh pastor brian and the new birth church family for this gracious invitation it's a testament to pastor brian's gracious spirit that he's asked me to get this revival full recovery of revival started because the truth of the matter is we've got two powerful preachers coming on tomorrow and thursday night uh and so to allow me to come and get started and get out of the way i'm a baseball fan and so i know when you are the first batter up all you got to do is just get on base nobody's looking for you to hit a home run nobody is looking for you to hit a triple all you got to do is get on base and they don't care how you get on base if you walk amen if you bunt just as long as you get on base now will you all pray for a brother that he can at least get on base and then we could have the heavy hitters coming up afterwards and god's going to bless all through this week pastor bryant's network of preachers is global and he certainly could have invited any preacher to stand in this place this evening but i feel like the hymnologist while on others thou art calling do not pass me by and so i am just absolutely thrilled that he uh decided to invite me i talked to my brother bishop brian moore whose good friend bishop uh bishop bryant and i said i don't know why pastor jamal would invite an old school preacher old-school methodist preacher like me to come and share at new birth one of the most dynamic ministries in the country and my brother wanted me to feel good he said that's because he's got so much church in his dna he wanted to hear from one of the generals of the church i said well that sounds nice but the real deal is that pastor brian turned 50 recently and became an official card carrying member of aarp [Music] somebody no i'm telling truth right and so it makes him feel young to invite an old preacher amen because as you get on the other side of 50 you need whatever encouragement you can get and since this is all relative this whole preacher who's been preaching uh as you heard him say when he was just a teenager doing revivals and yet i'm still here somebody ought to give god some phrase because he's an awesome awesome god now new birthday you know you are one of america's most dynamic congregations and i praise god for your expansive ministry not just in the atlanta community but globally and i want you to continue to allow god to do great things through you this nation and indeed the world needs the ministry of new birth missionary baptist church come on let's together out of the old testament book of ezekiel come with us to ezekiel chapter one i'd like you to look with me at verses one through three ezekiel chapter one verses one through three i'm reading from the new international version hear the word of god in my 30th year in the fourth month on the fifth day while i was among the exiles by the khabar river the heavens were opened and i saw visions of god on the fifth of the month it was the fifth year of the exile of king jehoiachin the word of the lord came to ezekiel the priest the son of buzai by the khabar river in the land of the babylonians there the hand of the lord was on him i want to prayerfully consider the subject a high praise from a low place a high praise from a low place i need your prayers god you are awesome and i thank you for manifesting your glory already in this place thank god for the saints that join us in this place but also thank god for those who are joining us in virtual space and so god wherever they may be i pray o god that you would consecrate the atmosphere i pray o god that your presence might be made manifest in such a powerful way that you will transform the place therein into a sanctuary and then oh god may i preach so not for entertainment but inner attainment not that i would be celebrated but that you would be celebrated and god when you send forth your word that is powerful and purposeful and penetrating oh god there will be a change so god we don't even have to wait we can praise you right now for accomplishing your powerful purpose in and through our lives it's in the mighty matchless magnanimous merciful name of our lord and savior jesus the christ we pray and the people of god said amen amen beloved we experience the divine in the ordinary in fact the divine is most often revealed to us not in the abstract but in the concrete dr merced eliad the former historian and professor of philosophy at the university of chicago sagaciously suggests that god is often greatest revealed in the most common places it's called hierophany hierophany is the way that god shows up in the things that we take for granted william shakespeare would put it this way and say that there are sermons in stones in fact beloved many times we miss the miraculous because it is being revealed through the mundane many times we miss the spectacular because it's being shown through the ordinary and beloved once you are so preoccupied with gazing at the stars far beyond your reach you miss the treasures that are within your grasp miners are persons who have been trained on how to explore low places for precious stones treasures and material resources it requires special skills to handle the deep places but they understand that rarely are things of greatest value found at the heights but they are rather discovered in the depths similarly christian growth and maturity rarely is cultivated out of the comfortable circumstances and mountain moments of life success without struggle is a powerful aphrodisiac but it is a terrible theological tutor because we don't know god truly until you know god in your troubles is there a witness in the building if we only know god in the highs of life then when we feel low we feel that god has abandoned us if god is expected to be a cosmic santa claus only handing out cash cars clothes and creature comforts what do you do when god does not give us toys trinkets and things in fact the truth of life is littered with lots of lows when i was in high school if you had asked me my favorite teacher would have been charles lewis because charles lewis gave us candy every class charles lewis allowed us to not during class charles lewis allowed us to watch movies charles lewis never gave us homework in school if you ask me who was my least favorite uh teacher it would be anita baker because anita baker gave homework every day anita baker made me read gregor chauser made me read shakespeare i did not like anita baker because she challenged us to use words and phrases in an appropriate way but now that i look back on my life i celebrate anita baker and teachers like her because the fact of the matter is if it won for her i would not have gotten a recognition of a preaching award the lyman beacher award at yale divinity school if it weren't for her my ministry may not have been all that it could have been because the fact of the matter is it is in the travail where we triumph and i know i'm not the only one up in here who could testify that you weren't mature enough that you were going through it to thank god for what you were dealing with but is there anybody who had a teacher anybody who had a coach anybody who had a nana anybody who had a papa anybody who had a pastor anybody who had somebody who would not let you coast through life who would not let you just simply get over easy who would not allow you to just check out on life but they pushed you and pressed you and encouraged you and challenged you and the reason you're where you are today is because you've come through some struggle somebody ought to shout i know that's right and the fact of the matter is as a christian we have to reject the superficiality that suggests that we can name it and claim it blab it and grab it too anointed to be disappointed because the fact of the matter is we are dealing with challenging times and oftentimes immature christians miss the value in valley vicissitudes uh we are coming out of a pandemic a social crisis and economic trials and the fact of the matter is according to uh the uh latest studies from the cdc there's a forty percent increase in reports of mental illness and of substance abuse in this country every statistic is demonstrating an increased number of suicides including among young people and amongst blacks in this country i want to applaud new birth because you are being intentional about offering safe spaces to deal with mental health because the fact of the matter is too often the church has neglected mental health issues and stigmatized people who are dealing with genuine struggles but this pastor and people are wise enough to know that as the people of god god is concerned with our whole being body mind and spirit somebody ought to give god some praise for this kind of ministry and so what is so important my beloved is that we not be so quick to expect somebody to move through the valley to the mountain that we neglect to exegete what's going on in the valley experience in other words we need to understand that when somebody is in a low place don't try to yank them out of it prematurely enough with this perfunctory premature praise enough with this superficial kind of sanctification that suggests of that god is not with you when you're in your low place in fact if you read scripture with integrity the people of god always had both rejoicing and lamenting and the fact of the matter is do i have some saints who know the word sometimes the lamenting is in fact the way that people come closest to god because you cannot raise a lament if you don't have faith that god is able lamenting is not the act of an atheist lamenting is not the act of an unbeliever because if i cry out unto god out of my lamenting it means that i believe that god is able and that god is available and that god is aware of what i'm going through somebody ought to bless the name of the lord in here and i don't know who i'm preaching to tonight because the fact of the matter is there are some who are lamenting because they've been enduring through covet and they feel isolated their social distancing has become spiritual distancing they have felt disconnected from family friends and their faith but then there are others who may be more silent about it but they're lamenting that we are on a pathway to go back in to our jobs and churches because they have become so used to hiding in isolation that they have increased anxiety i know i'm not talking to you let me just talk to who i'm talking to that there's increased anxiety about transitioning back into the work world i've been wearing sweatpants and i'm tired of having to uh be on a zoom call but i'd rather do that than have to transition back into an office back into a church and so i'm feeling torn between two opinions am i talking to you ah but i've come to let you know right where you are there's some glory there hallelujah i can't have you touch your neighbor because we got to practice enough distance but just give a look to your neighbor and you want to declare to your neighbor there's glory right where you are oh god oh god i know i know my struggle is i hadn't preached to folk in their face for so long i feel right preaching right about now pastor brian y'all pray my strength in the lord listen beloved every book in the bible was written by people who are either facing oppression occupation or opposition and many times all three simultaneously in fact both old and new testament authors were continually writing sacred texts while they were struggling under the oppressive weight of foreign adversaries first it was the egyptians then it was the assyrians then it was the babylonians then it was the persians then it was the greeks and finally it was the romans somebody said well bishop what does that have to do with us well black people are the soul of america did you hear me just look quickly at your neighbor don't stare don't start nothing up in here but just look at them and i want you to know you're looking at a living miracle yes you are because the fact of the matter is that we as black people are the most consistently christian people in this country and it's not out of a place of privilege prestige and possessions but rather it's a deep spiritual power that was birthed out of struggle resistance and resilience you want to put your hands together and give yourself some praise because you are a survivor come on let's celebrate blacks in this country and in the caribbean and in africa because we're survivors we've come through we've come through for more than 400 years in this land we've survived low places first it was slavery then it was the ku klux klan then it was legalized lynching then it was jim crow then it was housing employment educational discrimination now it's mass incarceration health disparities environmental racism voter suppression and police brutality you can't even shop at linux mall without some struggle you find yourself being mistreated on an airplane you can't even drive your car without being pulled over but look at you you're still making it look at you you're still surviving look at you you still have a praise in your spirit because this joy that i have the world didn't give it and the world can't take it away ah i've come to testify the fact of the matter here is we are a miracle and we are a miracle because we're thriving in the place where other folk can't survive oh god we are thriving where other folk can't even survive and not only is that our corporate testimony that's your individual testimony come on just wave at me if you've ever had to shed some tears but look at you you still have your joy if you ever been sick but look at you you still got your praise if you ever been laid off ah the last higher than the first fired wave at me if you got a testimony of how somebody because they saw your name on the job application and knew right away oh that the name sounded too black ah that you were passed over for something you were clearly qualified wave at me if you know that because your child was named uh your child was named tariq that tommy was treated better in the fourth grade than tariq was and tommy was described as just being energetic while tariq was described as being behavior uh bad behavior and sent to the principal's office but look at god you refuse to go under you refuse to quit you refuse to give up you refuse to throw in the tower because you have the attitude god has brought me too far for me to give up now oh smokey it's kind of like in 1986 the fight between evander holyfield and mike tyson mike tyson had a devastating punch a devastating jab and uh during the fifth round he hit holyfield with such a devastating round it knocked holyfield back up against the ropes after the fight was over holyfield had won the fight and ahmad rashad was interviewing holyfield and he said when did you know that you were going to win this fight and holyfield said did you see how he hit me in the fifth round ah ahmad rashad said sure it was his strongest punch of the entire fight holyfield said that's the moment i knew i was about to win this fight ah ahmad rashad said how did you know how you were about to win the fight holyfield said cause he had hit me with his best shot i shook myself i shook myself and i realized he had knocked me out and because he didn't knock me out i said i'm gonna win this fight god i don't know who i'm preaching to today but the enemy has already hit you with his best shot and somebody ought to declare i'm still here come on shout i'm still here and if god before you he's more then the whole world against you come on and give god some praise from the depth of your heart hallelujah hallelujah come on y'all sit down i'm a methodist preacher you make me nervous and so now now we find ezekiel ezekiel is ministering during one of the most tragic periods in the biblical history of the jewish people and therefore his prophetic ministry watch this begins to teach a course on crt critical recovery theory the people of god find themselves living in babylon as exile their conquest and captivity didn't occur instantaneously rather there were three stages of attacks and i know new birth is a biblically literate congregation so you know that in 605 bc nebuchadnezzar attacked jerusalem and took from there the best and the brightest including daniel azariah hananiah and michelle you know i'm better as shadrach meshach and a bad negro i mean a bad nickel ah but then nebuchadnezzar didn't stop there but he came back in 597 and he took the religious leaders don't miss that including ezekiel who was a priest so if he in 605 took the intelligentsia and then in 597 took the spiritual leaders then when he returned in 586 he did not have to fire a shot he did not have to fight because the people surrendered and the walls came tumbling down don't miss this new birth what i'm trying to tell you is that the enemy knows that if i can come after the spiritual leaders and if i can come after the educational leaders the community will disintegrate for if we diminish the preachers and if we diminish and don't pay the teachers then the people are going to suffer and there will be no strength in our community but here's what god did and i'm trying to press my way through it come on somebody say press bishop because god then gave ezekiel a double anointing [Music] god said when you were in the comfort of judah you were anointed to be a priest but now that you're in a low place i am doubling your anointing because now in addition to being a priest i need you to be a prophet [Music] oh god and i've come to tell you new birth thank god for your priestly ministry because priests lead the people in worship and i thank god for my worship are there any worshipers up in here i love to give god some praise i love to magnify him i love to lift up my hands i love to dance and although i'm a methodist bishop if you catch me at the right time i'll take off running when i think of the goodness of jesus and that's the intellectual cerebral process a pastor sue ah but when i think of the goodness of jesus and all he's done for me my episcopate soul my bishop soul my educated soul my yale degree soul cries out hallelujah praise god for saving me somebody want to just take 10 seconds and give god some praise every priest in the house ought to worship every priest in the house ought to magnify his name every priest of the house ought to enter his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise be thankful unto him [Music] his holy name shout yeah shout out [Music] but hear me now hear me new birth hear me pastor jamal this season post covet is going to require a double anointing this season is going to require every praising priests to also be a powerful prophet did you hear me because you got to be able to speak into hurting people's life [Music] many years ago my brother wrote a song that says there's only two times to praise the lord when you feel like it and when you don't but i've come to tell you we're ministering to a generation that is not church raised so they don't know how to praise the lord unless they're feeling like it when their rent can't be paid when they can't buy the new car you and i have raised in the church we saw how grandmama made tomato sandwiches and we still were able to give god the praise we had cheese but it was in the brown box from the government oh i'm in the wrong house y'all yeah but we still gave god the praise we had to eat corn flakes with no milk but we still gave god the praise but this generation doesn't understand what real struggle is all about and so what i've come to tell you is you've got to be able to minister to hurting people because ezekiel could not just be a priest he had to be a prophet because the people were on the brink of depression and despair and some were becoming so frustrated by their oppression that they found themselves strategizing for a return to judah movement others started to organize freedom of writers and they demanded that they would be paid reparations some suggested that the protesters ought to take to the streets of babylon crying out no justice no peace holding up signs that said get your knee off our neck others suggested getting a t-shirt that says i can't breathe hashtag jewish lives matter ah and ezekiel said i got news for you god is with you [Music] pastor brian i'm sorry i'm sorry please uh invite me back one more time i promise i'll do better the next time because i know you all expected a methodist bishop to come here with a level of profundity and ontological insight and hermeneutic skill to tell you something profound and deep but i've just come to tell you you may be in a low place but god is with you in fact that's my whole sermon on tonight uh is that in the low place god is with you ah can i give you some evidence that god is with you uh the fact of the matter is he is the lily of the valley now i'm from new york so i don't know much about planting ah but i did do my homework and did you know that a lily is not the same as other plants that are planted by seeds i never knew that i thought you plant a seed a lily seed and you get a lily ah now he says he's the rose of shetland roses come from seeds but he is the lily of the valley why did he use the lily for the valley because a lily grows out of a bulb b-u-l and a bulb is fully grown but it's wrapped into itself in other words it's already developed ah unlike a seed its leaves are developed its heart is developed but it's wrapped unto itself and when you're in a valley you can't depend on anybody else to develop you you got to be able to develop yourself is there anybody here who has graduated from needing other folk to pat you on the back you've graduated from needing other folk to tell you you can do it you can make it you graduated from other folks opinions and you now can encourage yourself speak over your life and encourage yourself and one more thing i got to tell you about a lily a lily is perennial you know what that means uh there are some plants that only come up once but pastor jamal when you see a lily die don't declare it over oh god don't declare it over don't write the lily's obituary because all that means is what you see has died but the lily has power that next season when the season changes when the season shifts when the season changes it's coming back yeah don't look at me and see my decline and think it's over i'm coming [Music] back when the season shifts when the season shifts i'm making a full recovery throw your head back and say it's my season [Music] i dare you shout is my season it's my season don't cut me off don't misinterpret don't misunderstand it's my season if you see me down oh you better take a picture shake it like a polaroid because i'm making a comeback somebody shout i know that's right shout here shout here oh i gotta close i gotta close i gotta close ah but here's the thing uh god knows where you are god is with you i was outside of ellicott city just last week and went with my wife to the mall and while i was in the mall walking things started popping up on my phone that i didn't know why they were coming up in my phone sale on nike sneakers 20 percent off apostle i walk further jeans i wasn't looking for any jeans special sale and so afterwards i talked to my other son and i said strangest thing happened to me in the mall ads kept popping up on my cell phone as i moved about and my son said oh dad that's because uh the apps have locating systems on it and there's something that's called geo location services that digital marketers utilize so that they know where you are and what your interests are so that when you're in close proximity [Music] to a certain place they can send it directly to your phone i said son you're preaching to me you mean they have a gps in my phone i said but god has a gps in my spirit so no matter where i am god knows what i need for my location do you hear what i'm trying to say new birth don't worry if you're in the valley the gps god positioning system knows what you need and god will supply your needs y'all excuse me right now about now but i feel right preaching god will supply all somebody shout all all of your needs according to his riches in glory so don't complain about what you're going through give god some praise don't cry over what you're going through give god some praise anybody here know that god will open doors to you i feel old school can i say it like i feel it god will make a way out of nowhere you ought to bless him up in here shout here and when your season has come to an end get ready get ready cause recovery is on the way pack your bag hallelujah forward your mail yeah change your billing address because recovery is on the way our youngest son is right there on the second row and when he was a student at morehouse college i had to preach here in atlanta they put me up at the marriott marquis on peachtree i was on the 40th floor and i said dion come by and see about me let's hang out together let's spend time together just like he did tonight he said dad i'll meet you there well about an hour later i got a phone call and he said daddy i've been trying to get up to your room but the problem is i need a key to come up higher i need a key to get to your level i need a key in order to get access i said son won't they give you a key at the front desk they said no no because the room is not in my name the room is in your name i said son don't worry stay right there a little plate stay right there a low priest and you know what i did i came down [Music] yeah through 40 flaws my son we stepped on the elevator and together [Music] yeah yeah yeah can i close like a methodist can i close like a methodist i'm pressing on the upward one new high time game [Music] higher higher higher higher come on and give him praise come on and give him praise i'm too old y'all pray my strength god bless you hey lord lift me up lord lift me up and let me stand lord help me i tell you if you feel like the father's taking you higher would you just take a step right there this is your last night at the lowest level god just said if you praise me i'm coming to get you i need to tell you what the bishop wants to tell you your praise is your teach if you got the praise it's gonna take you higher i need to shout in your living room praise him in your bedroom give him glory in your car your prey where are we going oh oh [Music] keep on moving your last night in lo thinking it's your long night in a low being is your last night in a low income the father is coming against you and take you into full recovery come unto god be the glory [Music] foreign [Music] hey [Music] recovery [Music] there's only one bishop there and more would you give god glory for him [Music] i need you right where you are let's celebrate god for that word how many of you needed that word that i'm giving god a high praise even while i'm in a low place i'm thankful that um the father has not forgotten about you lamenting is not for atheists you got to be able to trust god even while you complain how many of you all learned to trust god when you were dissatisfied with you were lonely when you were unhappy when you were broke i will still trust in the lord with all my heart and lean not to my own understanding i want to [Music] i want to in earnest because there's somebody who's viewing us tonight watching us tonight was literally in the lowest place of your life and you had no idea that god loved you so much that he would scoop down just to see about you i told you my expectation is that we would encounter him now and my expectation is that droves of you will get saved i know that this is old school but how many of you are grateful he saved your soul come on you ought to be shouting better than that i said how many of you are grateful that he saved your soul i don't know who you are i don't know where you are but bishop the lord sent you with us in mind i am so grateful that god saw all of us in the middle of this pandemic while we were in some low places anybody had to defeat depression in the pandemic anybody had to overcome anxiety in the pandemic anybody had to find the blessings of god while you were broke in the pandemic anybody saw his provision hear this when you weren't getting paid you found a high praise and a low place tonight i don't want to offer you a debt-free life i don't want to offer you a life with no sickness no pain disappointment or betrayal i want to offer you access to what it is here it is that you don't have the credit enough to get in your name he said but if you ask anything in my name it shall be given unto you my dear friends tonight i want you to get saved i want you to accept jesus christ for the partnering of your sins i want you to know that you are going to outlive the season you thought you would die in i need you to know that you are perennial the bishop brought off so many truths and illuminated so many revelations of the wonder of the lily blooming in the valley is that it blooms where it's dark it's easy to blossom when you have access to the light but what do you do when you get no nourishment get no care no attention no spotlight but you still bloom can you trust god to help you blossom when other people can't see it you trust him to help you flourish here it is when there is no fame attached he's the lily of the valley and i want you to know that that's who you are tonight how we believe here at new birth you can be spiritual without being spooky that you can profess god without foaming around your mouth without rolling down the aisle but right in your living room right while you're sitting up in that bed how the bible gives us the blueprint all you got to do is confess with your mouth believe in your heart you're going to be saved our counselors are standing by all of the problems that are necessary for you to get connected we want to pray with you hear this and we want to do it tonight i want to tell you transparently so there are no strings attached no alter your motives i need you to hear it from me i want to be your pastor and all the more i want to be the pastor for the rest of your life once you get here you're not going to have to look anywhere else but this is where god has assigned you your soul has been yearning for some level of consistency you're tired of going to and fro trying to find where you belong guess what the search is over new birth is your church i'm your pastor but more than anything jesus is the lord of your life anybody who's grateful and glad for his abiding grace i'm telling you as soon as i get out of town i'mma make up a story about my kids downtown that downstairs in the hotel i'm telling y'all that right now new birthday i'm gonna preach it again in january y'all just act like you heard it for the very first time the hotel i was in didn't even have 40 floors but i'm act like i was on the 40th floor isn't it amazing that when we go through the genealogy of jesus that he came through 40 and two generations just to come see about us you ought to know that god came through every generation of your family just because there was something markedly different about who you are and what he wanted to do i want to stand in lockstep with our amazing bishop tonight i'm going to challenge those of you who are in a low place but you believe in every fiber of your being that things are starting to look up i want you to plant a seed because lilies don't need one i want you to plan the seat of 42 tonight that's all that i'm asking you to do uh whether you're doing it through push pay text to give give the file on our own secure website every person in this room who is contending with a low place i need you to join me in giving this seed a 42 don't deliberate you don't even know that by tomorrow morning something is getting ready to shift something is getting ready to happen i've been preparing and praying in july i'm preaching a series called don't waste my time and i she has a authentic and a genuine anointing on her life i trust the prophetic that god has given her she's been in deep prayer for the last uh two to three weeks for god to do something unusual and you step your feet back in your church doors will open father god i declare and decree the supernatural favor on common favor over this man of god's life father god lord that you will use him lord let the double portion of your anointing rest on him that wherever he goes and whoever he touch will be delivered and set free in the name of jesus let's give god a handful of praise up in himself come on give god come on praise your god praise your god you want your delivers [Music] also bishop the lord is doing a new thing in your life and in your family you've been praying a long time unlike the
