another chapter Luke chapter 1 beginning at verse 28 verse 34 28 through 34 let's read it together with uplift voices everybody the angel went to her and said verse 34 once you've put a pin in it and meet me in John chapter 5 as it you'll go over to John chapter 5 John 5 verses 5 through 7 John 5 verses 5 through 7 let's read together with uplifted forces [Applause] you may be seated keep your if the central character is catapulted into conflict there can be no maternal influence mothers are primarily muted from movies because if you leave them in the life of the sin character who is going through crisis sustaining conflict becomes difficult mothers are prone to listen n resolve problems they are stereotypically selfless and exude love that has no limits to sustain the drama the mother has to be distant sometimes the element of spiritual warfare unaddressed is how the enemy gasps mother's into her movies either through death or distress to dispatch a wedge between us and the divine the subject-matter itself can set off a tinderbox of emotion ranging from sheer euphoria to stark disappointment because the Lord chose her as the vessel for you to come through your mother was the gift you didn't have a choice in it didn't have a option didn't have a vote and every now and again you've got to step back and ask the casting director why he chose this woman to play the role of your mother for some of you she she played the role as a stunt man for others she was an extra for a few of you she only showed up for the credits there some of you your mother played the villain there's a larger net cast for those who testify that their mother served as the hero whatever role it was she played in the theater of your life you didn't have an option she was selected for you the influence of a mother is second only to God by virtue of her office a mother operates as a prophet or as a pessimist Wilma Rudolph that great Olympic runner diagnosed with polio testified the doctor told me I would never walk again my mother told me I would I believed in my mother there those of you in this room who have you were past this Mike would have to give verbal evidence an audible testimony that your mother believes some stuff in you that the authorities and people in position never thought was possible Pablo Picasso in similar sentiment shared that his mother admonished him if you become a soldier you'll be a general if you become a monk you'll be the poet instead I became a painter and now the whole world knows the name Pablo Picasso I want you to lift up your hands I don't want to testify I just want to seal what has already been spoken lift that hand please even those of you who are watching online lift that hand I speak for every lifted hand that everything your mother positively proclaimed over your life will come to pass in the next 12 months whatever she spoke over your life positively will manifest by next year this time those of you who know that there was a paternal proof maternal prophetic words spoken over your life and you're trusting God for it will you give God Thanksgiving an edge elation for it now the influence of your mother didn't begin at preschool but it started through a process known as fetal programming fetal programming what and how a mother eats while pregnant affects her child's future and contributes to their risk of developing heart disease diabetes cancer and a plethora of other in illnesses it is amazing that you don't even know that in this culture and in this society we have the highest number of those who have ever been in special education then nobody is ever factoring in that maybe we have overlooked the reality of the grandchildren of crack babies you're now dealing with a generation who wasn't raised and their parents weren't raised you have to put yourself on a strict diet that I am now feeding my faith and starving my fears I am peculiar in particular about what gospel I eat I don't allow just anybody to speak into my life who doesn't have a prayer life and doesn't have any semblance of spiritual maturity when it is that I am praying when it is that I am fasting when it is that I am reading the Word of God those who don't understand why I am so zealous for the things of God of those who don't realize I'm eating for two I'm eating for me and I'm eating for what I'm carrying because I realized that the gift that is in me is gonna be so great that it is going to shift the landscape of society that unborn generations are going to duly note that because of my contribution into the earth realm that data statistics and my last name was forever change there is something in me that the enemy does not want me to birth and has been trying to force me to miscarry but in spite of all of the odds being stacked up against me I have made a covenant and a vow to God that even while other people can't see it I believe that if we gift God has given to me is going to come to pass every dream that he has given to me is going to materialize every idea he has given to me is going to take off every anointing he has given to me is going to go through the roof every talent he has invested in me it's going to be super-sized every assignment he's given to me is going to go through the roof if you judge me based off a material stuff you get ready to miss who I really am the sum total of my value got nothing to do with my car my house or my clothes but it's about what I am carrying the enemy is upset because he can't name it he can't define it and he can't kill it but as God is my witness everything God put in me he is going I'm carrying something I'm carrying something hallelujah I'm carrying something I want you to lay hands on your bosom and just declare it out loud I'm carrying something will not get this book out of me this non profit out of me this business out of me this real estate out of me the world and ready for word yet societal assumptions have been challenged in this book but I want to recommend to you the book is called forgetting forget having it all how America messed up motherhood forget having it all how America missed up motherhood the author argues forthrightly their culturally politically and psychologically changes have to be made as to how we approach motherhood the premise is that women should parent like they don't work and work like they don't parent but not only should women but men should as well because the parental responsibilities should not just be left in the hands of the mother while the father does absolutely nothing she laments the offer does that the notion that a lot of mothers adopt the mind frame that things will just work out you've been at a place where you called your mother your maternal figure for advice for counsel for insight and all they would tell you it's gonna work out you're looking at the phone like Lord huh I needed something more than that and then when it doesn't work out naturally they assume something is wrong how come you still ain't married how come you still don't have the job how come you ain't working in your field how come you haven't finished yet let alone she ain't married she doing nothing in her field she don't own no property somehow the strength of the mother transfer transfers to our sub-conscience that we have to be able to do everything ourselves and we don't even realize that it has weakened us to believe that it makes us weak to ask for help sometimes having a strong mother debilitates your prayer life I just said something some of y'all are upset let me give it to you again I said sometimes having a strong mother can debilitate your prayer life because your mother has so coached you into believing you can do it that you forgot ant and asked him to help you do it to ask for help doesn't mean that you're weak it actually means that you are strong that you're strong strong enough to realize I can't do all of this by myself but I need some assistance in this chapter and it's difficult because used to heaven you're doing it all alone but there are moments and instances seasons and chapters in my life where I'm just so worn down to the nail that I just ain't got it in me to do it and just a little bit of help if you were just pretend like you gonna help me when I read John 5 I couldn't get that Hollywood producer out of my head I couldn't get that Hollywood produce out of my head when I'm reading John 5 cuz jesus walks on to the set which is being filmed at the Pool of Bethesda the lame are there Halder there with other there all of the extras in this movie have been afflicted with some level of deformity nobody on the scene is healthy nobody on the scene that is strong and jesus walks up jesus walks up and we meet the nondescript star whose name didn't even introduce in the text the star is a man who has been lain for 38 years notice friends that know where does it say he's 38 years old he's been in the condition for 38 years now they're all kind of people at the pool but this man been there for 38 years and in case you forgot Jesus died at 33 I'm in John chapter 5 some of I'm in John chapter 5 Jesus is no more than 31 let me add here that he's never been to Bethesda he's never been to Bethesda but demands been sitting out pole paralyzed for 38 years and Jesus is only 31 and the Bible says and Jesus knew him but he never been to the pool before he has never met the man before Jesus is just 31 but the man been there for 38 years that means that while Jesus was still in heaven he said to the Angels give me a body there's somebody sitting down there this in need of my assistance and i'ma go down there and pull them out I gotta say this for five of y'all that don't man shouting God will get you out of some stuff that you are in before you knew him you were struggling in some areas but God had to show up shows up Jesus asked him a critical question but the critical question that in fact seals the point of that movie producer he's been there for 38 years and there is no presence of his mother because you can't have a strong mother around while you going through chaos calamity and confusion he's going through it for all of them years why cuz his mother ain't David has his mother been there she would have been able to push him in y'all ain't saying nothing or begin to talk to him and tell him you better than this I'm talking to some of y'all who had to go through some of the toughest seasons of your life and you know stuff would have been different if your mother was still alive if if your mother was still here let me pause right here so those of y'all they got beef with your mother not talking to your mother that distance from your mother I'm telling you fix it now cuz there's some people in this room that wish hopper till today have their mother by the polls the mothers no way around can't talk him through it can't remind them you better than this can't reinforce you deserve more he just sitting there and Jesus asked this man who've been in this condition for 38 years do you want to get well and the boy asked the man called Jesus yes of him how can this happen when I ain't got know about it hallelujah nobody is here to help me because as was the culture in the time of the text the angel would come and trouble the water once a year and whoever was the first to jump in that's the one that will get restored I came to tell somebody the water is about to be troubled God wants to know do you want to be better do you want to be stronger do you want all of your strength do you want activity of your capacity do you want to be able to exemplify for wholeness and restoration says how do you expect me to get better when I got a mother how you expect things to get there when I've got nobody and he says how can this be when I don't have anybody nowhere in John chapter 5 is it written but isogenic Lee I want to import to the text that I believe that Jesus thought to himself you remind me of my mother that here you are getting ready to get the break greatest break through your life and you thinking about who ain't there you thinking about who you don't have and I'm standing right in front of you god I came to tell somebody God is getting ready to disconnect you everything your mother didn't think was possible God has given to arrange in your life position is not your position greater it's getting ready to happen in your life Jesus thought to himself I can't find it in John 5 I just believed that's what he said did you you remind me of my mother how was this possible passive - it's possible because Jesus had been numb had been on the fetal programming he ate some stuff that his mother fed him while she was still in the womb I think I've lost you because in Luke chapter 1 Jesus is in the womb of Mary and the Lord sent an angel by the name of Gabriel to a teenage mother by the name of Marik and said to her you are about to give birth to your child and Mary begins to ruminate over what the angel has just declared and the angel said to her when I say to the people in new birth and I say to the people online verse number 28 the Lord is with you some of y'all get ready to miss your greatest miracle I need you I need you with all the authority that you can muster would you look at the person beside you and say it with the politics is with you they still don't got it still didn't hear what the man of God is trying to tell you how you gonna get the job with no degree how you gonna have a six-figure income with no experience how you gonna pay off on them bills with no financial backup I came to tell you be seated Bruce he's getting a shift some things for somebody who's in this room could you keep giving a litany of excuses as to why you don't excel to why you haven't achieved and why you haven't accomplished but I came to tell you if God be for you who can be against you they is with you sad note did you ever consider the fact that when this angel comes to visit Mary know where this man's mother show up cuz whenever you're in conflict whenever you're in crisis you can't have a strong mother around y'all the missin it when whenever you get ready to go through something significant and strategic God gotta block your mother from being a part of some stuff just so you can find him for yourself so the Lord is with you man and your house ain't changed your car had changed your income head and change how do I know he's with me there I feel like I gotta tell somebody this he said the evidence that he's with you is what's inside to view the 500 of you that ought to be given him worship - there's something within me then hold it already explained said there's something inside of you says Mary 14 years of age says to the angel how can this be when I have been with a man that's how the brother in John 5 felt how can it be Windom when I ain't got a man to help me how to do this when I don't have a man in my life how in a while does this God when nobody is supporting me now says I block some people from getting in your life [Applause] because this time when the miracle happens I am NOT gonna share my glory I want you to be able to testify it was just me and God that's the only way that [Applause] I had to make you go through a season of no support of no backup of no push just so you know it's me with you I need you to hold their neighbors hair come on stay with me hold their neighbors hand say neighbor I know there's been a rough season I know you've had to deal with loneliness had to deal with rejection had to deal with isolation but this this last trimester everything in you is still ready to come out you only gather do one thing the only thing you gotta do this wash okay here forgetting her parental responsibilities the two of you I'm waiting on you raised by a grandmother because you had a mother that wasn't inclined once it wasn't on drugs just didn't feel like it but success when you made the sacrifice and they made none of the effort some of you had to deal with a mother don't like nobody you like run off everything that's good everything that's positive God says I'm gonna heal it and I'm gonna heal them the way my faith is set up I believe that God can do anything the only thing God can't do is he can't fail it's out here but I just said the only thing he can't do is he can't fail I want those of you in this room stretch your right hand to faith those you at the altar lift up both of those hands those of you who are streaming I want you to just type on Thanksgiving now give this Thanksgiving I gotta do this quickly I gotta be obedient to my assignment I gotta do this quickly would you very quickly if you had the altar would you embrace whoever something in the life of that child can you love them if they don't even have the maturity to apologize can you take them back in I want you to pull in please some mistakes you gotta allow your child that hand another mother getting a hand and quickly higher I'll never forget the last time I got suspended from school last time my father's my father's from Baltimore my my mother's from the project's in New York so I'd rather get disciplined by my father my mother is a different kind of breed their Lord don't y'all let that intercessory role fool y'all my mother would punch me in the chest say you want to hit me back no ma'am us never forget last time I got suspended from school I got in the car I'm sitting close to the window I just know she came right back hand me at any minute my mother pulled the car over I know it's Kimmy be real we two blocks from the school she pulled her car over and my mother start crying I said Oh Lord this is this is gonna be a rough day she start crying and then she start praying out loud said Lord this the son you gave me know what this mean said there's a Sun you gave me I want you to kill them but knock them down my eyes open what kind of prayer is this sometimes you got to release your child back into the hands of God [Applause] [Music] say I don't done everything I know how to do God this is your responsibility you can take it from here mother's I want you to lift up that hand I'm praying for you that God will be able to receive your child Bank you'll be able to love them even in their incomplete state that you'll be able to embrace some flaws and all I pray for every mother with lifted hands that you will not persecute yourself for grown Child's mistakes pray that God will heal the wedge I pray that God would so bless you that your children will rise up and call you bless I pray in your latter years your children will be a source of comfort and not a source of distress I pray for healing to happen between you and your children between now in Christmas morning and those of you who have that kind of faith would you give God glory for reunited family [Music] I need you to do me a favor mothers would you embrace another mother and say you're doing a good job girl come on come on come on you did what you could gosh ah you wanna make [Music] everybody you're standing I'm hoping the doors of the church for people to get saved for people to join the church for people to come into relationship with God I need you standing so nobody will have to climb and crawl over you what's this very quickly I'm hoping the doors of the church I want people to get saved people to join the church people to get a relationship with God I'm gonna do it in one minute but I'm gonna do this first wave first I want to open the doors of the church first for mothers who need a church home cuz you haven't been getting support you've been doing it all by yourself I want you to get now and drag your kids if you got to but I want you to come please sir please ma'am rather I want you to come whoever it is that you aren't believing that God is getting better to connect families of faith right in this ministry you're here in this room and you know your family needs to be a part of this church needs to be connected to this ministry I want you to come and I want you to meet me at this aunt if you're in this room listen to me and you've been having to do everything by yourself or so you thought because you forgot or didn't realize that God was with you if that's who you are I need you to come meet me at this altar new you to have an excuse that nobody asked them to get saved nobody asked him to join the church and nobody volunteered to walk with them come on I need them to know they got support here they got backup here they got a circle here do me a favor find three people around you that you don't know three people that you don't recognize would you ask them for me are they saved and asked them do they have a church home ask them for me have they given their life over to God [Music] the healer is he about where are you come on if there's somebody else would you pass understand right he's here this pendant like this I'm waiting on five more to come soon as these five come I need you to come meet me at this altar as quickly as you can five of you we already in over time the five of you that know this is the kind of church I need to be a part of this is gonna be my birthing station this is where God is gonna help deliver every gift and every ability inside of me that has up to this hour gone untapped and undeveloped five of you I'm waiting on you here's one so I'm only waiting on four of you [Applause] [Music] therefore more of you that need to come I have no idea where you are or who you are but
