freeze for a moment lift your hands and I want you to give God a praise tell him something personal something from your heart through your lips all the way up to his ears hallelujah just praise him for what he's done for you he's a great God great and power great to save oh and we bless His Holy Name hallelujah that clap those hands and give it one more praise that you take your seat certainly we're blessed today thank God for the fellowship of the believer amen I was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the law I'm just glad to be saved today anybody glad to be on the Lord's side hey man I'm glad that one Sunday night many years ago God sanctified my heart to the truth a man and I told him I'd serve him till I die and I meant that when I said it till I died doesn't matter what happens he man I've already taken back sliding off the table hey man that's not even an option look at somebody and tell them he only got two choices tell them what they are hold on or hang in there that's it a man we don't have a choice a man if back slam is an option that ain't an option cuz my heart is fixed and my mind is made up I'm going all the way with the law anybody going all the way I said is anybody going all the way with the Lord hey man I didn't come this far to turn around a man I didn't hold on just to give the devil my testimony you know that's what he loved to do the devil would love to take your testimony and shove it down your throat now if the youdon't stood up and told people God delivered you and synched if I just cleaned up he loved for you a man to go back and be a walking talking living breathing contradiction of what you said God called you to do Amen but somebody got a time not it hold on a man a man like apostle miles used to say hey man when you get down and it seemed like you down at the end of your Road a man reach up time not and hold home he said sometimes the devil try to cut your rope and force out possum I'll shoes tell us reach above the cut place and hold on man hang in there after a while it'll all be over look at somebody and tell them me but there is a word from the Lord amen and I am a lover of the word of our God I love mine and I broke mine you got yours come on hold that power up today thank God because everything else is going down but a lot but the word of our God amen and I tell you it's more than a cliche it is a truth amen everything else is not stable enough amen on which you can build a life if you gonna be able to like build it on something solid on some stable and there's nothing as solid and stable as the word of our God the book of st. Matthew's Gospel the 22nd chapter amen Matthew chapter number 22 and I want to call your attention to the fourth a man through the fourteenth verse is that Saint Matthew 22 a man versus one two three four five six seven eight nine ten 11 12 13 14 and when you have it's a man the Bible gives us this intelligence and jesus answered and speak unto them again by parables and said the kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain King which made a marriage for his son and he sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden those that were invited to the wedding and they would not come just didn't come they just ignored or discounted this invitation they just they wouldn't come again he sent forth other servants saying tell them which are bidden behold I have prepared my dinner my oxen and my fatlings are killed and all things are already come unto the marriage but they made the light of it the Bible says and went their ways one to his form another to his merchandise and the remnant took his servants and entreated them spitefully and smooth them but when the king heard thereof he was wrong and he sent forth his armies he didn't send servants this time he sent the armies and destroyed those murderers and burned city then said he to his servants the wedding is ready but they which were bidden those that were invited were not worthy go he therefore into the highways and as many as he shall find bid them to the marriage invite them to come here hmm so those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all as many as they found both bad and good the wedding was furnished with guests and when the king came in to see the guests he saw there which had a wedding garment he saith unto Him the Bible says and he was speechless the king said to the take him away cast him in there shall be weeping for alcohol but few are chosen when the king came in to see the guests he saw there a man who didn't have a wet garment he says how is it that you came without the proper attire and and the Bible says the man was speechless what are you gonna tell them when he asked you some question have some questions for you now the Bible says and with a man could not answer he says to his servants just grab him get that man out of here take him out bind him hand and foot and cast him into outer darkness with there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth ain't got none fancy for you today just look at some man in jail and put on your wind garment that's all I want to talk to somebody today and just tell you put on your wedding garments let me let me hasten today amen one of the things that I love about the Word of God is that it presents to us the words of Jesus the Christ they told me when I was a little boy that whenever you have a man a good Bible it will it will distinguish Amen between the words of man and the words of the Christ and do that you look at the Bible and you'll see there are some words there that are colored they are red and that's the only other variation of a color in the Bible everything else is black a mint but whenever you see red writing those are attributed amen and given the character a man of being the words the actual words of Jesus our Christ so when you look a man at all of that red writing you look at all of those red lettering you start to pick up a men's styles and habits that Jesus would engage in as he spoke and one thing that you'll notice about the word of God amen the words of Jesus the Bible tells us that he spoke as one that had the authority when you see Jesus he has a commander of the language he knows what he's aiming at and he begins to talk to people and he would give them his word he would give them truths and the Bible said many times the medium that he was use is that he would give them what we call parables amen parables and you know what parables are parables are expressions given to fictitious events or situations but bring to the thoughts of the hearer the need to evaluate that reality based on the lesson that the parable teaches us it gives us truths in a practical way so that we then turn and look at ourselves and we judge ourselves based on the truth that the parable has presented unto us it is a way by which amen deeply troubling sometimes rules can be better grasped by the ears of the hero so many times people act like they got a bad understanding you know he meant sometimes people just don't want to know but what Jesus does he makes sure that everybody can understand the words that he said nobody has an excuse nobody has a reason he meant to walk out ignorant live with Jesus is preaching because if you don't understand high and lofty rhetoric Jesus said that's all right I got a parable for you and he would break it down and in its simplistic form there is no way that you can walk out see him that he spoke in a manner that I could not grasp or comprehend no he speak as one having the authority he had a command of the language he was he was accurate in his aim thank you lord and whatever truth it was that he was trying to present there was no way that at the end of his sermon you did not know that he was pointing his finger and that he had pointed out something that he needed you to understand touch somebody and tell her maybe we'll understand it well he's make sure that we've to and you know the reason why the Bible says that he would preach to us in parables is because there were those who were so cynical about his word and you still get people like that you know the Bible calls those kinds scoffers we we still got scoffers now he meant people that are cynical about the word of the Lord people who act as if thank you lord amen the word of the Lord Amen is something not to be made fun of something to be dissected something to be criticized you know you even have those people now that are critics of the Word of God that will study to tell you everything you don't have to believe everything that the Bible gets wrong and because they don't fully understand it they think that the Bible contains errors and contradiction you know what that tells me that tells me that that's somebody that has not been empowered by the Holy Ghost because those things that are spiritually given must be spiritually understood and it takes the Holy Ghost look at some an economy take the Holy Ghost amen to reveal to you these truths remember the Lord intends for you to hear and so jesus said I'll give you parables you know why because for those that want to know a parable opens our understanding in a way that the truth is irrefutable but for those cynics those people that don't really he meant have a heart to want to know the Word of God it crowds that truth in mystery and haven't you noticed Amen that you that I'm gonna wash that blood off you can come to the house of God the Word of God and it makes so much sense to you but then somebody else comes at me hear the same word and it's almost like you speaking another language have you noticed Amen serving the Lord makes so much sense while you're saying but the moment the devil pokes people to backslide all of a sudden they got a problem with something how in the world amen now that you back slitter you have a problem with it it ain't real you have to hold it close this a word picks you up ran you around the church that you wrote it on the floor the devil wanted to make out of you so he says for those that wanna know I'll give you a way to do it but I'm not casting my pearls before swine so he clouds truths in mystery suppose that don't wanna know Amen so that they don't squander it no he's Naturals going to give this kind of a truth the people that are going to cast it to the ground if you don't want to know it you're hiding from you but for every seeker every matter that has a heart to want to know what God has said God is going to make sure that you have a means by which you can grasp these otherwise unknown spiritual truths so the Bible says he speaks to us and he gives us instruction by way of parable and one of the most interesting parables amen it's not use the word interestingly bothersome amen is that abut the wedding feasts it's something that we've got to take our time and walk through the fully comprehend and understand it seems in this parable amen to take away the notion that we have in this generation that when you come to the Lord you don't have to worry about conforming to a standard you don't have to worry about Amen rules you know you don't have to worry about Amen gods ideas about what a real true holiness and salvation is this seems to take away all of I'm not gonna preach holiness [Applause] [Music] come on in but when you get in here God wants to change your whole life you can get saved well some of y'all looking at me like you want to show your thighs such I'm an intern I don't care what they throw your holiness is still right this parable seems to shred the understanding that you don't have to worry about being conformed to the image of his son don't worry about being changed just maintain your individuality and you know that's how people do now they want to come to church and they okay nobody change it came about a dethrone him can't nobody make him take it Yahweh standard can i brag on God God shatter who were you liking unto me you tell me who who do you know that can do the kind of stuff I can do God said I kill and I make alive can kill you kill you again raise you up and kill you again yes parable must be quite difficult for this generation understand because they've been told that our God wants is your presence in church just come the church that's all nothing else is required that's the reason they can come to church from the club and then leave Church go back to the club there's no change that there's no no and listen you can't just bring people because if the gospel was preached the gospel has enough power to change it the reason why we don't see change it's because anybody preaching deliverance but when you preach deliverance been cracking so I know it's ended liars and lesbians and homosexuals as if Church does not place a button now some of y'all looking like y'all want me to shut up as if Church that's not please that when you come to God that's a standard that God requires of every one of us and I don't care if you didn't know it before you got saved when you get saved there were some things that you're going to have to do if you're going to maintain your salvation you can come just like you in Christ he's a new creature old things pass away and go and speak to the [Applause] he said everything gotta be new the way you look at it you always say nothing the way you look gotta be new and I don't understand to seem like the world getting more conservative and the church is getting Lord Kenna you sound the world's secular artists and all them people with all this weird hair now they have gone back to natural tones and that's we were done jumped up in the church all things which means everything must be ain't talking about nobody I'm just telling you what what what about how things have to be new God don't want you to be a refurbished version of your old self God wants you to be a new creature in a new creature in Christ Jesus and listen and hates him to make you such somebody gotta preach this because when people come in they need to know that deliverance is still possible if you can believe the gospel of Jesus Christ you know give me a minute ain't there yet this is Error to believe that how God looks for is your church membership God is not simply looking at what kind of church you go to hey man he's never looking at whether you are deigned or what kind of position you hold which that celery you are part of because people look at that stuff and think that God is bound by what it is that you decided to do to get you in the head listen I don't care if you're a preacher if you're not delivered if you ain't save if you ain't walking right you don't get a chance to go to heaven [Applause] [Music] you can be famous but if you are you can't see that's not the stem that I said that's the spended of the word of God love you come the funeral and sound kind of stuff somebody set you up in heaven with his dog drinking a cold one and I'm saying you're gonna be disappointed if you make it 9 tell you if he got a cold one in his hand he ain't in heaven in the end in hell either cuz ain't none cool down there don't let the devil fool you say they think they talked about people and they ridicule you and it got a whole bunch of church people away from certain things because the world ridiculed it but I listen it's still holiness or he'll have them all preachers use always how to holding this yeah and it got a whole bunch of row backing up all for that because they don't want to be ridiculed listen it's still holiness I hail because holiness without which no man shall see the line so if it ain't holiness where else can you go well you know give me a moment I'll be that when I get there you gotta go back and when you see this this this this parable hmm Jesus gives us information about the wonderful truth of God's grace because the Bible says that that's how we're saved through faith you know what grace is all place place is about God giving you something that you don't deserve and with all of this high estimation that people have of themselves now it don't take away from the fact that if you're saved at all is by grace because it wasn't nothing about you that God just had to have come on now if that was the case you'd be irresistible to everybody worth first and you know there's some folks walk right by you with your new clothes on and don't give you a second look but God looks at us and so many times I remember hearing hearing Bishop Cannon say God is better than a junkman because he can rummage through the trash and find something he can use and some of us before you got saved that's where you you in a dumpster good-looking nicely dressed you were just in a dumpster but God [Laughter] [Laughter] he talks to us about the grace of God and he says us through this story that we are where we are because of God's grace he's a good god I said God is a good god yes he is Saint John the 1st chapter 12 and 13th verse says but as many as received him to them gave he power to become the sons of God even to them that believe on his name which were born not of the blood nor of the will of the flesh nor the will of man but of God if you're a child of God at all this because he decided to give you another chance that means that they had nothing to do with you he did y'all done got quiet again he decided to give you a chance and I want you to hear me because so many people act as if that was nothing he's the card of a second and a third and a fourth and a fifth chance maybe the Bible said he has mercy on whom he will have mercy even if he kills fifth chances and don't make me go give it to you but y'all hearing what I do you know what that tells us that tells us that why your hand is in his hand you better hold on for dear life whole bunch of people walking out so casually because they've been told God will forgive you gotta forgive you listen that's the devil the Bible said that's what we do if the Lord if he allows you to come back you'll have another chance to serve Him but there's no guarantee that you not go run into a wall after you backslide [Applause] you can't claim credit for it because it's not yours I want you to know today that in spite of our worthlessness in sin he did what the Bible called loved us to him yeah that's why you're here it's the goodness of the Lord that leads you repair with loving-kindness he says have i drawn be jeremiah 31 and three romans 2 and 4 says it's the goodness of the lord that leadeth thee to repentance we look and we didn't end up where we are because we were deserving but because he was able to look past our pulp and recognize our need to be safe let me hasten today I gotta go hey men but the Bible says the King now since servants he sent servants out to those that were invited to come to the feasts for his son the people said on the first go around the sermons go and when they go the people who had received the invitation just ignored it didn't mean much to him just the Bible said they just didn't come for it sorry they they had other things to do they just didn't show up got it thank God I'm honored put that over there on the shelf and he just didn't come well he gives him another chance Obama said he sins servants back and says go and tell those that were bidden those that have already been invited tell them that it's ready and give them the menu cuz you know everybody like food yeah about it like to tell them I don't kill the fatling 'he's i got this i got the vegetables already the turnip greens and that good pound cake sweet potato pie tell them tell them tell them about all that remember then made of biscuits it give them the rundown of the menu tell him we got kool-aid tell a bit listen they want to be here for this because it's it's all good going down in a minute the Bible said but when they went and tell them hey the feast is ready they the tables spread everything is good they kill the fat wings and they got this ready the bulletins and all of this we're ready to eat and that the table is prepared the Bible says that some people treated it cynically they met that I'm schooling them and then went on about they've been it I gotta go do this I have to go do that I can't come and the Bible said there was some that stays behind it wasn't just enough to ridicule but they begin to entreat them heart they treated them terribly and then they treated him so bad mama said they killed him kill him for inviting you to a feast you're getting them to have the greatest time you ever had in your life you've never seen so much food the festivities are gonna be second to none and I'm inviting you to have the greatest time you'll ever have and for that they kill them which made their crime exceptionally because all they were guilty of was trying to upgrade your life Bible said the King said that's it I'm not sending servants now he sent his armies in and when his armies go in make Wow the mattress and they burned they died some people say man wait a minute that's that's kind of harsh it you know they lost a whole city because they didn't accept that this this invitation but I thought it was theirs to accept or deny why because when it come down to soul issues si si you can reject Christ and that don't mean that it was y'all now listen you got understand he's already bout us he's already died for us he going it's not like he had already cooked all this food he was goin he's already out of something he paid it forward and now you're rejecting it how all of that food is gonna go to waste all of the money he's spinning preparing for you somebody gotta pay for all of this when it comes down to the blood of Jesus He died for the whole world but only those that believe on Him should not perish so that means the rest of the world is trotting on the blood of Jesus Christ and trampling on his sacrifice somebody gonna have to pay for that somebody's going to have to pay for what was done and the Bible says that he says all right have died but we still got all this food go out to the highways and tell everybody you can find the good and the bad yeah go out Farren and get to get the rapists go go and get that molester hey you know when you start talking like that people have a bad understanding they don't deserve to be saved for what they did listen he came for everybody he he came for serial killers Yahweh said he came for petty thieves he came for felons are y'all hearing me he came for he said go out and just get everybody that's it and bring them in Bible said he was so happy to be there and folks showed up and now the feast is full and he wops it and but I gotta get out of here the King walks him and you know what he sees he sees what nobody else acts like they see see the thing about God is that God sees us in a way people can see us see fog thing because you fake for the church you say I told you that's why I had to leave social media cuz the people I thought were really seen with you look at some of the stuff they do and post about you start fanning out then save like these are we think because they in the choir are on the instruments I got collars and rashes all that everybody's shy but God sees what don't nobody else see see God is looking through your text messages he folks hit up dance and hands shaking in the air musics been over three minutes ago and they still up shop and folks that man a spiritual a deep God must be really moving on them listen somebody folk not these I'm not talking about you unless I'm talking about you some folks shout to cover up Oh some folks shot because God been good other folks jump up and shout because they want you to think they only low outside God moving on them we can look at the shock but God is looking at the real you and he won't let me hurry he walks in and nobody else has said and they think about it it's almost like nobody else saw it but when he comes in he goes to he said listen did you know where you were coming you knew you were coming here and you showed up without Owen don't you have on your wedding garment and see the thing was t what makes this so proper it's because the lord of the feast was the one that provided the guests with their garment so why don't you have one if I'm the one that's giving them the everybody because I won't you properly attired but you walked up in here because you don't just do it your way you sittin in my feast without a wedding garment that I would freely Soprano you why don't you have own your wedding gone and you know what the man said nothing you know why he said nothing because there wasn't nothing to say touch the man and tell him there are no good excuses if he's providing it why don't you have it see what this is this is a typical case of somebody coming to his church but being determined to exist in your own righteousness without being clothed in here oh we just let us come we'll show up we'll do what we can do we'll sing with Asha will be a deacon will be an attendant a greeter at the door but will be clothed in our own righteousness we're not putting on the Lord Jesus Christ and I want you to know nobody else sees you God does if nobody else no what you do at home yeah cuz you know you got people listen there's a show out spirit going around now folks just want to show out and be perceived that's holier than the next person and so they go overboard trying to prove their own holiness but listen God sees you nothing escapes the all-seeing eye of God nothing gets by his gaze and when he looks while everybody else is oblivious he hones in on the fact that there's somebody here that hadn't taken the time to receive what he's provided preach the message years ago how can you lack what he's already provided he walked up in a feast and set down as if you can enjoy what everybody else enjoying you haven't made the necessary preparations he let everybody come so you could have come but good the bad the liar the thief everybody the sunday-school teacher the self-righteous the judge the lawyer the politicians he said whosoever will you are just come gambler come on draw got it just come on in here oh come on in to the feast there's a place for you at the feast but when you come in order for you to sit down and dine you got to put on your win garments you can't just sit down and think you're gonna eat they don't work like that that's why some folk love to come they come how many I just love to see them people shout oh I love this him shout I love to Sid when they run around the church love to hit a choir saying I'd love to see them people praise the Lord you know you can shout too don't you just got to put on your wedding garments oh why just sit and watch everybody else he's have you seen people like that they sit there and watch you eat and there was something I'll do man why watch people eat you can eat too we all can eat just put on your wedding garment and look at what he says because this man tried to exist in his own righteousness he said I'll get that man out of here get him out all he wanted to do was come in and look saved he he just wanted to come in and act like he was saved but he didn't put on his wedding garment and there's no benefit to just being in the wedding hall it's no benefit in just being in the feast put your garment on so you can participate because at the end of the day when he searches the hearts and the souls and the minds of all men and he recognizes that there's some among us that didn't do things properly they are here but they never put on their wedding garment get them out of here bind him hand and foot throw I mean out of darkness where there's weeping and gnashing of teeth you don't get to heaven because you sing in the choir because you wear a collar you better put on your wedding garment you don't get to heaven because you know scriptures are teach Sunday school you better put on your wedding garments you just because you can sing the prayer instrument or operate the camera that that don't mean you go to you better put on your way garments make yourself ready because he's coming I want you to stand to your feet today I want to know is there anybody here today tired of being half dressed you ready to put your garment so on faithful to the house of God but still don't have own wedding garment and that's all we believe now we can just show up I'm at church I joined the church what else do they want from me they ought to be glad I can listen we would have had church anyway even if you wouldn't here but I'm glad you came come on down here to the dress room come on down here there's a garment that can fit you I know it is you can try it on today guaranteed to fit you as a matter of fact one size fits all I don't care what kind of sin you bound by you can come God can save you God can deliver you maybe there's somebody here today I don't care what it is you're bound by I don't care what kind of issue you have God don't just want you chechi he wants you to live it he just don't want you to show up he wants to go home with you and today if there's somebody here that's not saved this is your time step out of that row step into that aisle and make your way to this altar I want you to come if you need somebody to grab them by the hand and ask him if they'll walk you this way they'll do it but when you come I want you to come prepared to stand before God for yourself come on somebody else needs to be here he said come unto me all ye that labor and the heavenly Dan and I'll give you rest we got time cuz it's not all the with yet but what happens when you got to stand before him and you don't have on your wedding garments come on that's it come on somebody else needs to come come on that's it come on somebody would you praise the Lord we offer doesn't matter where you come from all that matters is that you're standing before him today and he wants to change you and give you a brand new life that's all right and today if you're ready to turn your life over to him you tried living it your way didn't work but today if you're ready to give your life to Him I want you to lift those hands that's it come on lift them as a sign and a token of surrender and I want you to talk to him because he's listening and he promised that if you come to him he would have no eyes cast you out while your hands are lifted I want you to talk to him and ask him say Lord I'm sorry for everything that I've done but it wasn't like you come in and deliver me shot me free cuz he block baptized me with the holy cows tell him Lord I live for you for the rest of my life come on if you believe it he's doing it by you right now come on that's it that's the power of God that you're feeling on you now receive it in the name of Jesus hallelujah father lay your hands on the mound your car does not touch I claim the soul for your kingdom receive it now come on reach out and seize yesterday's bother touch them now cuz I laid my hands on them I claim this show
