sure that a yes we were coming to church but she didn't want us to leave without hearing the word but nowadays won't come in all the kids sit in the back and the parents sit down front and they can talk and do whatever they want to do and when the service is over you can ask them whether he preached about tonight can't nobody tell you cuz they talked all night in church and that's what that coming to church but God ain't in they come in what they don't know my mother and father come with me thank God because when we were younger and many people remember over on doing the prayer room was right underneath the pulpit and I can remember as a child get that harlot with Church and my mother would grab me by the head and take me down into the pie room and put me on my knees right next to her she made sure she made sure that I studied my Bible she didn't let me go everywhere I couldn't go to everybody's house I'm gonna hang out with everybody just cuz they said they were saying no she called me a bother like I had I remember one of my classmates came he said Harmon he said man I just love yo day he said I got one but I wish I had joking and that made me feel so good and so sad at the same time sad that he didn't have one but glad that I did I was glad that I had some people to cover me and they didn't let me do so much wrong until I just wanted to go I wasn't one of those kids that left when I got 18 because of what they put in me I wasn't serving God for them by the time I was 18 I was serving him for me yo ain't selling here he said now if the train up a child in the way to praise God for all of these young people they could be doing something else nobody's making them do this a man but I thank God that there's something down in their heart that is connecting them to the Spirit of the Lord and they're singing Amen the Zion songs think of our first lady Amen lady Danielle amen today she's not here with us sees that our Garland location preaching the gospel of the kingdom I know they're having a wonderful time in the Lord thing God for dr. instructs us in righteous living it teaches us the things that we need to know amen do you know the Bible can give you instruction on how he meant to deal with your family it teaches us how husbands and wives should interact with each other amen it talks to us about how parents should handle their children how children should handle and obey their parents you know you don't hit too much about children obey your parents in the law hey man yeah you holler at me but if you don't want me fussing back at you then it's not part of it you know that that that's the issue for this day and time because about 15 20 years ago you said something like that a man you would've woke up apologizing a man how long was I out you've been in the hospital for three days a man you've been feeding you through your nose cuz you could even eat your feet just messed up man well I apologize I'll never let that happen again a man but now a man you don't you don't we give that people aren't interested in teaching their children the principles of the word of God and so they don't live like a man they have good sense because good sense comes from the Word of God a man it tells you how to interact with your boss on your job your co-workers you know the Bible tells you all of this stuff they've been teaching you how to be disciplined praise the law teaches you how not to just be godly in word only but also indeed God can give you wisdom in everything a man they teach you how to get to work on time a man I tell you got folks how the devil is the devil is busy you busy to doing some foolish things a man I'm gonna preach in a minute but let me go ahead and courage you a man not to do foolish things a man you sitting there yeah the long clock go off you reach over there just hit it then you wake up two days later trying to figure out what is my time though and now you were willing to give up your good job with all your benefits you put all that on the line for nine more minutes of sleep you gonna put your whole career on the line for nine more minutes of sleep all right turn with me if you want that ain't what I'm preaching about man but it was it was it was good anyway he brews glad Jana receptive mood today because I want to talk to you out of the ninth chapter in the 27th verse just one verse of scripture in your hearing in and I'll delve into the word and so many times we hear scriptures like this only when we come to home going services or or funerals for those that were not believers in the Lord Jesus Christ because you know there's a difference between a funeral and a home going service a man a man everybody don't have homegoing celebration scuzz some people leave here and ain't none for nobody to celebrate the Bible tells us so amen Hebrews the ninth chapter in the 27th verse and because it is only one verse of scripture I believe we can read it together from the King James Version amen when you have its amen let us read and as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment let's read that again and as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment let's read it with power and as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment if you are able to hear me it's only because you're not dead reality is that's a truth that's only true in this moment and this moment in this moment in this moment but there's coming moment and it all comes down to that one second when you've got the transfer from this realm to the spiritual he tells us that these things are forewarning we look at this and we award that we are enlightened by the revelation that he gives us in the word of things that will come things that will be experienced by us all man that is born of a woman is only of a few days and you look at and I'd say it so often we wonder whether the time go I know I do I try to figure out where did the time go I I was looking in the Christ and I was looking at some of these young people that I grew up with their parents and now my mind went back to the days when we were singing in this choir and now children of parents who I grew up with are singing in this choir and I'm trying to figure out wet it all at this time though how did people that I remember having no children end up grandmothers and grandfathers so fast where did all of this time go time I told him Wednesday night in Garland is not just winding up time is running out and we give warning through the Word of God so that all of us who are creatures upon will understand that we're not here forever because we are not here forever we've got to make some decisions now decisions that are going to have implications even in eternity look at somebody and just tell them think ahead that's what I want to talk about today I I was praying and asking the Lord early this morning and at 8:30 I looked at the clock and I heard the Lord speaking the Lord said tell him to think ahead think I had proactive consideration because something is going to be experienced by us all and it's not a matter of if it's a matter of when and what state what condition will be in when it's our time to go it appears that the agreed-upon model for this time is that you only live once don't even make sense but that's a man section you only live once and while it's true on the surface I disagree with the further premise that because you only live once you've got to live to make your life count and you do that by living to the fullest and the reason why I disagree with that for the premise is because when you talk about living to the fullest they never include the spiritual side or the spiritual applications that we have even though we are in our earthly frame when people say you ought to live up to the fullest what they're actually telling you is that you want to throw up caution and not be so careful with life and just do whatever it is that you find pleasure doing whatever makes you feel good then do that because you only live once you see it now people are throwing off common sense and they're throwing off decency and discipline so much so - and now there are people who are dying behind some of the dumbest things that anybody could ever do you know you have those people they are adrenaline junkies they will climb skyscrapers that climb mountains and sit on the edge of cliffs without any ropes or any harnesses or anything that that connects them they'll climb into things and up to areas that they shouldn't even be allowed to reach or to go to and they'll go up there just to take a selfie of themselves and show that they did something that was a adrenaline rushing and and so many of them have died you've seen recently there have been those people who were a meant just adrenaline junkies have climbed buildings and with up to mountains and beer things and in their pursuit of the perfect selfie they have slipped and fallen and ended up dead and went into judgment Wow because you only live once - amen exciting things do things that amen nobody else can do do things that cause your adrenaline to raise and to rush and the problem is is that they don't want you to buy them from doing what it is that they want to do and so they throw off all caution and they say listen I don't have time for somebody else to have that big of an impact on my life this is my life that's only one life to live and since I only live one time let me live to the fullest by ignoring all of those other things that would hold me back and I just simply want to live my own life I want to do my own thing but the problem is life runs out after this is why this is a generation that has gone so wild because once you sacrifice discipline for pleasure did you find yourself being shocked at the things that people find pleasure in you never felt a mem that people would do some of the things that they're doing now you know they even had a game that they played on and they called it a game it really wasn't a game it was a crime it was called the knockout game y'all saw that where young people would just walk down the street and they would see older people elderly people and unsuspecting people and they would just be going about their daily tasks and young people would just come and just hit them as hard as they could in an effort to knock them out with one punch now you know and then they would laugh when they would see all the people laying on the ground bleeding and unconscious then they would run away and they would laugh because that's where they found pleasure and that's what I'm telling you whenever you sacrifice discipline for pleasure you start to see how twisted some people's mad can really be you've got some folk they have what they call dark humor and that means that they find pleasure they find humor and some of the strangest and most difficult things for other people to handle they love going and seeing people dead they love a member bheyl of Cora they love all of these things why because something is going on in their mind and rather than discipline people in the right way we are telling people what ever you find pleasure in don't let anybody stop you from finding pleasure but brothers and sisters this will never lead to anything proper or anything right what God asks for and what God demands now he demands discipline from all of us that's why hate men I don't believe it in this generation it doesn't matter what a bunch of people that I never raised the child is trying to tell the rest of us amen I believe that children should not just simply be allowed to grow up I still believe you gotta raise them I believe you've got to train them I believe you've got to discipline they're up and let them know that even in 2019 Bevers feel a such thing as right and wrong y'all go get quad and I'm a preacher until I find somebody willing to say man amen in this generation you've got to know Amen Debra steal something that's proper and something that's improper there's still something that's correct and something that is incorrect y'all gonna get quad amen it is not relative to the individual and you cannot simply do what it is that you want to do because sometimes what you desire to do will infringe on somebody else's all right and that's when we've got a problem and brothers and sisters it didn't matter Amen oh what'd you hear people talking about you've got to always think ahead and make sure that at the end of the day y'all coming out on the winning side see that's what we're not doing that we're not really teaching young people amen proactive figured we're not thinking ahead we're not teaching them to wait consequences of the action we're just telling them you're only live once so don't let nobody stop you from doing what it is that you wanna do and then you have a continued disregard for decency in the words that they speak that same only god can judge me well sons and daughters I'm glad that you have come to the understanding that God will judge all of mankind but the reality is that's nothing to boast about because you always say that because you don't understand but judgment of the Lord and so now people are all you only never once and only god can judge me don't let those people talk to you don't let them talk you out of pleasure don't let them talk you out of fun don't let them talk you out of doing what you wanna do don't let that preacher that crazy man talk to you out of doing Amen the things that you find pleasure and you deserve to live yours and I agree it is your life to live I can't make you do anything but while searching the word today and I found the scripture that I think you need to consider Ecclesiastes the eleventh chapter and the night version and close your Bibles did you let me tell you what the wise man says he says rejoice Oh young man in died you and let the hot Chevy in the days about you and walk in the ways of thine heart and in the sight of thine eyes but no foul that for all of these things God will bring thee into churchmen are you hearing me so go ahead he says if you want to do what you want to do then you do that but you do that understanding of the fact that this coming a day when God is going to call every action into judgment that's the reason why I don't tell people just gonna then do what you wanna do just gonna hold it then just do as much right now because every action that you commit God is going to pull that into judgment and so sons and daughters for all of your pleasure remember that you will answer to God well y'all hear me what I'm trying to tell you you've got to know that that's coming today with you are going to have to stand before God and you're going to have to give an answer the Bible declares that all of us it doesn't matter educated weird that matter I'm money it does not matter our status in society the Bible said that this coming today when every one of us will stand naked before the eyes of him with whom we have to do every one of us are going to stand there and there will be absolutely nothing that will keep God from seeing you as you are and can I say this to you you don't see you like your mama see here y'all get quad you don't see you like your dad to see you you never do is the reason why I'm assured we don't want to [Laughter] [Laughter] [Applause] submit to authority wants to be the final authority so they don't let your mother tell them what because you go stand before him and what are you gonna say to him what do you say to a God that you continually rejected and and kept telling provocation he said today if you'll hear me you've got the answers you gotta make a decision you got to choose it and you've got to make that choice today so many times we're trying to put it off as if we are in control and you know that's just the trick and applause can I tell you something you are not in control the devil got you figure you can come to God and you'll just show up with you won't that's deception listen to me brothers and sisters the reality is just remember young men enjoy your life but remember that for everything you do God is going to bring it into judgment all your pleasures and you've got people now finding pleasure and some of the craziest places already loved smoking weed and going to clubs and loved shooting drugs and love lying they love well y'all can cry life does not consist in the abundance of the things that he possesses I had to think ahead and and understand that it is appointed and I want you to understand that it is appointed unto men once to die and after this comes the judgment you know to think ahead is to prepare for a future event by thinking about what might happen and planning accordingly I believe this is why there's so much evil in this world because the enemy has convinced people of one of two lies either that there is no God or if there is he's not as unyielding as you have been led to believe that he is either he's not real he's not a stickler for holiness like people are trained to tell you that he is they want you to believe that God is flexible and what he demands and what he requires the Bible says we follow peace with old man and what and what and holiness without which no man shall see Bella it doesn't matter how many followers you have on Twitter [Music] no matter to god how many likes you got on facebook how many people shared your picture on Instagram he said if you're not holy you won't see him that's that's so sad for people who you only live once and that's what you're living for likes and shares and retweets and repost that's what you're living I looked up one word this morning and it was it was the word nearsighted and the word nearsighted by definition is the ability to see things closer then to see things further you you could hardly see things a little distance away you can only really see things that are right in your face and because what we think the judgment it's how far away but some nearsighted until even some people that know it's wrong feel like I got enough time to do what I want to do and still get it together before he cut you so nearsighted you you looking at how far away it is and what you should be looking at is how fast it's traveling but y'all y'all win standing you don't don't look at how far away it is that's the wrong way to approach this look at how quickly it's gonna be upon you look at look at what he says in second Corinthians four and four it says in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of God should shine and unto them some people have allowed the pleasures of this life too so blind them until not only do they not see it they don't even want to see it now they don't understand it and they don't want to understand they hadn't heard nobody they don't want you saying unto Him they're so blind until stop that we see so clearly they act like they're oblivious to out of sight out of mind because they feel like distant threats are so much easier to handle you know how I was when I got in a fight around second period and somebody said I'm gonna get you after school you laugh and lunchtime here hahaha but then about fifth or sixth period you trying to figure out if you got a sickness that requires your mama to come pick you up from school you laughed until it was right there on you and there are people that are laughing because they feel like man that's so far away the Bible said there will be scoffers in the last day saying where's the promise of his coming we've been hearing about this stuff a long time and it's been 2,000 years since Jesus came the first time are you trying to tell me it's coming again is right around the corner keep laughing that's somebody who's nearsighted you got to think ahead I'm almost through 9 9 and 27 of the book of Hebrews says and as it is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment let me hasten I thought about it this morning I've seen too many people die I believe everyone was saying we we had 155 funerals 156 we miss one a hundred and fifty six funerals in one year people are dying and if the first part of that scripture is right and why we acting like the last part of the scripture really don't matter that people that have died on accident woke up with every intention of living and accidentally died I was in a business meeting yesterday and I was talking to one of the gentlemen that was there and I told him the same thing I tell you a living is so hard dealing with stuff you sometimes you didn't want to put your foot on the floor don't want to pull the coppers back living is hard wat but dying people are slipping off the curb and dying eating some what they eat get lodged in her throat that's it the Bible said man his whole existence his breath is only in his nostrils that's it that's all you are if you can get that one breath and you're not sure you are so frail that you would become your life is so frail and fragile and you trying to play like you own it and you control this that's deception and I believe that if the first part of that script is right then the second part has to be as well after this comes the judgment do you really believe that all mankind is is an elevated form of an ape you believe that's all that something is missing they got all the fingers all the toes they got to lips got a nose to ears you see all of that but when you look at that box you know something ain't going in his grave you know that's a part of them that's not their question is all these dead people all these people were they just figments of our imagination or did we really know them I know I knew these people I grew up I talked to him but now I can't see him and I know it's not what I went and left at the cemetery where are all of these people that we knew people we loved and we talked when we cried when they left us where are they now all of these people and you want me to believe that they just don't exist anymore they were so alive so animated so real but you don't want me to believe all of a sudden they see to exist everybody who has ever died they really are somewhere else oh no they didn't cease to exist they are animated on another level in a different realm than the one that we occupy they are still somewhere doing something because they had a soul ezekiel 18:4 says behold all souls are mine as the soul of the father so also the soul of the son is mine and he said the soul that sinneth it shall die so why do you out there doing your best with the fact that you only have one life to remember he's going to call it in pink I hate I want you to think of us thinking 189 when I die really some of you may not need to think that far in the future you don't know what I don't either I just want to know that when I drop and I cease to exist on this side I just want to know I got somewhere else to go when I move out of my old house and I moved from my old friends and I moved from my hallway I just want to know that I moved out into a brand new life think ahead if you were to stand before God to do with the life that you have and the testimony of that life what would that mean for you think ahead it what that one breath that sits between you and death if that one breath want to last breath out of your nostril that's how you want to meet God I was looking in Revelation 21 and 8th Bible starts out by sending the fearful the unbelieving the abominable murderers idolaters abominable whoremongers sorcerers and all Liars shall have their part in the lake burn it with fire and brimstone I was really in Revelation 20 I believe it starts at the eleventh verse and it goes down I believe to the fifteenth verse he talks about that great white throne where the souls of all the wicked dead will rise and you're going to stand before a great white throne the Bible said in the books were open and if your name was not found written in that book that you were cast into a lake that burneth with fire and brimstone think ahead but what you're doing now where would you end up see people want you to believe that God is going to show you mercy when you stand he's showing you mercy now see contrary to what a lot of people are being led to believe grace is only for the living as long as you're alive you've got a chance grace is extending itself to you but once you die grace has effectively run out think ahead think about it when you've got to leave this world think ahead you you think that dope-dealing that was out there in a shootout and got hit in his head and died and went into judgment did he really think that through that person had wanted to rob somebody for a pair of tennis shoes and didn't realize that they had a gun died behind $100 Pass shoes that only cost 7 dollars and 20 cents to make that they really reason that through the person that was smoking dope and sniffing coke and thought all they wanted was another high and they didn't realize that there was some extra in that dope this time fell on the floor foaming at the mouth kicking and convulsing and died did they really think that through they didn't know some of y'all see me saying man that's a dumb thing to die for but you dying for a life you dying for six and dying for other carnal things you just and you wouldn't it did you really think that through and you willing to die behind this stuff and meet God in that condition maybe sometime think ahead don't don't think in the night think ahead because why you feeling healthy now if you start thinking about where you want you'll feel good because you're feeling healthy don't have a pain in your body and you're saying man I got it good I got much goods laid up if that man had a thought ahead instead of thinking where he was and he would have seen beyond the many years he was planning for and he would have seen into that eternal state when he would have been found wanting because he didn't make Jesus's choice stand to your feet thinker here think ahead think beyond this natural fun that you're having when all of this stuff run out think about the time when all your friends are going you don't bear the whole lot of them and most of them in the grave and you're the only one left what's on your mind when the natural fun is run out think ahead to when you're laying on that bed that you know you'll never rise from and you know that soon I'll be going to the other side what what's gonna be on your mind if you come down to it and your family's in the room and they know that it won't be long and all of them come to visit you what's gonna be on your mind having recipes in man they're drawing the kitchen you think that's what you're gonna be thinking about think ahead what kind of eternal State can you see given the life you're living are you going to be with him do you have that assurance right now that if you were to drop and hit the flow that she would go to be with him beyond the liquor store you gonna probably go to when you leave Church think beyond that making that call and seeing where you can catch up with the dope man think beyond all of that and he says again today if you'll hear my voice harden not your heart every head bound somebody here can only think and have only been thinking about that next pleasure the next time you you would be able to go clubbing and have fun that's as far as you could see so nearsighted - the only thing that's on your mind is every natural pleasure but today I'm asking you to think ahead think beyond all of that because one day we're gonna stand before and if today you cannot see Herman I know that if he calls me I'm going up you can't say that I want you to think ahead anybody can think about next week or next month I'm saying think ahead there's something big coming all of us are going to experience it and you can know today that you were where you need to be come on come on young man young lady come enjoy it live according to the desires of thine eyes and of that heart but young man young lady know this one thing that for everything that you do God is going to call you into judgment come on somebody else needs to be here if that's you when you feel like I'm talking to you I want you to step out into that aisle and meet us at this altar if you need somebody to grab them by the hand and ask them if they'll walk you this way they'll do it but when you get here you've got to stand before God for yourself come on that's it they're coming but no doubt that for all of these things God will bring the into judgment they're still coming come on come on you and the risers will wait until you get here come come that's it that's it come on come on
