amen come on give jesus praise would you he's worthy [Music] before you sit down before amen amen before you sit down i want to do two things amen amen i got to do this first before you do the sit down i want you to lift your hands to the lord father we thank you so much for this great work we thank you for the awesome leadership that you've raised up we thank you for the anointing that's on this ministry and on me in these lips of clay that i speak this word with excellence accuracy and boldness asking you to think through my mind speak to my lips and this word shall come forth unhindered unchecked by any outside force now we thank you in advance for signs wonders and miracles confirming the word preached we give you all the praise lord jesus and we worship you in jesus name can somebody shout amen now get give the the bishop and first lady of this house are rounding applause i mean for the work that they are doing all over the world come on give them some praise god raised them up hallelujah before you sit down turn to your neighbor and say i'm glad to see you this morning and take your seats please thank you no hold holy hold on now there was somebody right back here that shout come here come here [Applause] hey let me come on down here i'll and i call them to one person one person not you him here's a hundred dollars go buy yourself some gas praise god somebody say flow tell him to come back he look like he's broke tell him to come back i'm talking about you come here hurry up i gotta go [Applause] get yourself some gas god bless you did somebody over here say that no i didn't think so okay all right [Applause] thank you bishop first lady thank you all for having me back again it's almost like home being at the potter's house and i'm telling you powerful church that god has raised up used people to do it but he raised it up and i'm thankful for it well let's get into the word because we need some word this morning [Applause] let's open our bibles please to colossians colossians chapter chapter 1. colossians chapter 1. now you know i must take a whole lot of this church i don't left my church to come here to preach at this church [Applause] love you too love you too amen all right colossians chapter 1. now this up here at this this podium there is a preaching anointing up here on this podium and i need to do some teaching today too amen um let's call this restoring the years restoring the years i'm going to read this scripture and then we'll sit down but we're going to cover quite a few scriptures as we go through here so but this will be the introductory scripture i'm going to start reading at verse 25 where um i'm made a minister according to the dispensation of god which is given to me for you to fulfill the word of god even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations but now is made manifest to his saints to whom god would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the gentiles which is christ in you the hope of glory you may take your seats christ in you the hope of glory i know they got a time clock up there but i'm going to set my own time you know because you know how you how you all are uh christ in you the hope of glory i don't know how many times people have read that and churches have have taught around that but how many have a real revelation of what this is christ in you the hope of glory um this this particular teaching i believe is an end-time teaching that i'm about to do here and i'm believing that this one session with you that your life will never be the same again never be the same i call it a drive-by so as we look at this christ in you christ is not jesus's last name christ christ christ means the anointed one and his anointing christ it's christos the greek it's messiah in the hebrew christ it is an empowerment of the spirit of god for supernatural accomplishment empowerment of the spirit of god for supernatural accomplishment it is the holy spirit at work in you and through you producing heaven on earth producing extraordinary results on you and in you now this may not look significant but if you go in a concordance a reference book and look how many times the word christ is used you'll be i think surprised because when you get to this new testament it is through and through talking about the word christ even the apostle paul said for the love of christ constrains me the love of christ love for that anointing see that anointing even though it's in you and on you that anointing has to work for you and for that anointing to work for you we're going to have to stay in love we're going to have to keep the faith see well let me put in my own words for the love of that anointing i ain't going to cuss you out no no i just get that that's good that now i i know i'd never do that i'd never do that okay okay okay all right now i know i'm extreme being extreme on that but i'm just saying for the love of that anointing i'm not going to gossip about you for the love of that anointing i'm going to treat people right i'm going to not manipulate people i'm not going to be uh angry or hurt people so for the love of that anointing see now in this i want to go through this i want to talk about that anointing because i believe that's my assignment today and that you'll be changed by the time i finished talking about that anointing absolutely changed okay all right now when i talk about this anointing i want to go back for a moment to the beginning to adam and how adam functioned now if you come back here to genesis this thing is rolling like this genesis in genesis chapter 1. in genesis chapter 1 it says in the beginning god created the heaven and the earth and the earth without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of god say spirit of god moved upon the face of the waters and god said let there be light and there was light but notice nothing happened to god said something but the spirit of god was out there ready for the word and when that word came the spirit of god manifested that word then god says here in verse 26 and god said let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have dominion dominion now i want to i want to talk just a little bit like i said i got a little time so i'm gonna go in this i'm doing a little teaching do a little preaching too but let's lay some foundation first dominion over the efficiency of the found the air and over every uh over the cattle and over every and all part of me and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth dominion dominion over all the earth dominion over creeps it's dominion over all of it dominion over it okay now when you look at that what is dominion i put some some little ways that you can kind of envision dominion dominion means the power to of governing or controlling dominion the power of governing or control let them have not us now let them have dominion dominion means the power uh to direct to control or to use and dispose of at your pleasure dominion to use and dispose of at your pleasure another definition dominion it's a right to possess and to use without being accountable without being accountable now you can see that dominion now you can see it because here's jesus and jesus is about to go into jerusalem for his triumphant time going into the jerusalem before his passion and notice what he said to two of his disciples he said now go in town and uh and you'll see a coat a donkey tied up he said on time and and and bring him to his to me now the owner asks you what are you doing with my donkey you tell him the lord has need of you and he will let him go are you following saint taking dominion over what over all the earth this is what adam was given this was part of his responsibility and look what he said in verse 28 and god blessed them and god said to them be fruitful and multiply replenish the earth and subdue it and have dominion there it is again over the official seal with the fowl of the air and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth wow dominion over the fish of the sea of the fowl there but this time he says and he wants them to do something be fruitful and multiply replenish the earth and subdue it i've been here before and i've talked about replenish i said replenish means to stock with abundance replenish means to recover former fullness replenish means to perpetually renew and resupply it if you see something worn out re-supply it now this is all the power that adam had and he was made in god's image and likeness so basically what you can say is that adam was a duplicate of his father and he had everything in him that the father had now don't just look at your outside because the outside of you is your body okay the real you is the spirit let's go down to chapter two and verse seven and the lord god formed men of the dust of the ground he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and men became a living soul the hamas translation says it this way man became a speaking spirit like god wow became a speaking spirit like god now he gave him an assignment gave him a purpose here in this earth in verse 15 of that same chapter and the lord god took the man he put him in the garden of eden to dress it and to keep it so he gave him an assignment gave him some work notice he's giving him work now before he gave him a wife look at verse 16 and the lord god commanded the man saying of every tree of the garden you may freely eat but of the tree of the guard of of the knowledge of good and evil that thou shalt not eat of it uh for in the day that i'll eat thereof thou shall surely die now what does he mean die he means to be separated from god now separation from god eventually will bring this natural death but he'll a spirit in itself cannot cease to exist once you've god made a person they will they go on forever they won't seek to exist but they can live apart from god they live apart from god uh of course they all the things that god placed in them no longer are they working and look at verse 19 and out of the ground the lord god formed every beast of the field that he found of the air and brought them to adam to see what he would call them and whatsoever adam called every living creature that was the name thereof so basically it is saying here that whatever adam called them is the same thing that god called them yo with me whatever he called them is the same thing that god called him now let me let me show you this now because like i said you're going to be a changed individual by the time i finish so here is adam in the earth created in the image and likeness of god that's that duplicate of kind and functioning just like god so now adam is going to use words to do things so now he's a speaking spirit like god and god gave him the animals and all of a sudden here is adam and he's naming all these animals now how could he name all the animals and he didn't go to the university you have to ask yourself that now yeah yeah and so [Applause] but but he's doing this now where is he getting these names from he's just downloading i better look over here he just downloaded see now this is the way we were originally made remember what i call the lesson restoring the years come on we we're not just restoring the years in your life we're restoring the years in the life of mankind we're coming all the way back to the garden say amen to this all right so here is adam now and he is naming these animals now i want to fast forward just a little bit i want to go over to the book of john i'm just kind of being led by the holy ghost i was going to save this but i'm led now to do it look at john and john's gospel and let's go over to john chapter 7 please and this is what he says here in verse 14 now about the midst of the feasts jesus went up into the temple and taught and the jews marveled saying how knoweth this man letters having never learned here's another translation in the amplified having no formal training now wait wait a minute wait a minute now hold on now how is this man going to know more than us and he never went to our schools you see now i'm telling you something now because adam didn't have those school jesus even though he was taught i'm sure he was taught the things of god but notice what jesus was doing sometimes people say that well he he was he was god himself well true enough he was god but he set his godhead ability aside and became like a man watch this anointing of god see and paul calls him by revelation the last adam so he called him the last adam so what happened he was going to show you how adam functioned why because jesus is what i call the sample son he is the one going to show you how you are supposed to be are you following what i'm saying now now this this i want lord have mercy i'm going to try to slow down here because you're going to get this uh this ability to name these animals came from the power of that anointing that was on adam to function in a way that he could bring forth supernatural accomplishments and produce heaven on earth glory to god so now here is jesus um here is adam and adam now is functioning like god god is downloading now let me give you this in church we call this that we're doing right now having church okay and that that's fine that's fine but let me take it another step you are the church you you are the church that the church comes from a a a greek word uh ekklesia and and and it has to do with called out one that you've been called out you've been the bible says you've been chosen and and and and let me give you a definition of chosen when i was a kid i was in high school and me and other boys you know we'd go out to parties and things and and we all think we were cute you know don't hate now don't hate and uh and and so we'd go and we'd maybe go to a party and we're standing around me and three or three or four other guys and we're standing around i noticed a young lady looking at me and i'd catch a you know my peripheral vision i'd catch her out of the corner of my eye and i told you don't hate didn't i tell you that and and so she she could catch me and and then i was with the boys so i was backing up i'm gonna back up out of the crowd just to see if she's still zeroed in on the kid don't hate participate and so and so what happened is i'd back up and i noticed she was still zeroing in on me and then i walked back up to the boys i said boys i don't know how much longer i'm gonna be with y'all look like i've been chose i said you've been chose see you were picked out of a group say amen to that a lot of your friends are not saved because they were not shown but you were chose and when god picked you out of that group he's got a special assignment for you you're not going to leave your friends out you're going to go back to your friends but you're going to get equipped with the anointing to go back in there and demonstrate who god really is so so what happens here is adam now and he's got his position he's now the head the federal head of all creation notice god made everything first and then at the end of the sixth day he made a man why because the man was to rule over everything adam had his purpose he was going in that garden there and he was too uh perpetually renew and resupply the earth everywhere adam went every wherever was sent everywhere adam was led he was supposed to bring forth heaven on earth adam also had uh his provision and now this is an area here that we really got to watch because this one kind of gets away from us a lot of times what we end up doing is people of god end up trying to bear the weight of their own provision and you were never meant to take to bear the weight of your own provision you see if you have a little kid the first thing that kid will do little kid little child if they go you take them to the store and they grab something or go to a fire truck or go to a whatever kids play with and they say mom i want this you know you said put that back now you can so forth now notice they never say mama i need this they say mama i want this well you are little children to god and god has dealt with all of your needs he now is ready for your wants glory to god whew you got to see what i'm talking about [Applause] see there's a certain way god wants you to live now i'm not going to go into that yet if i have time we'll talk about that now so here's adam and he does this now god gives him a a wife eve and now this this wife that he gave her you know i was at a uh i was in uh preaching out of uh where was i oh london the other day went a couple of days ago and i was preaching and i was in a hotel and we're about to go to the next um meeting the venue and i noticed all these people coming in these are beautiful men and women i mean they they were i mean built i mean they were some i said man it caught my attention so one of uh our uh one the person who is the vice president of the business school she was with me and and and um and she she met us downstairs i said my goodness i said well these people come i mean they look perfect i mean she said they having a convention of fitness so forth and so on i said wow is that right she said yeah she said i had to sit down with three of those ladies and ask them how did they get like this i mean you know because and i said to myself that's probably what adam and eve look like that's probably and i thought about that there when god made eve for adam [Applause] whoa are you following what i'm saying okay let's go back to this here y'all [Applause] i love my wife i want that to go down on a tape okay now no i'm just saying that he made things perfect see and but here comes the devil in chapter three he is subtle now and he gets this woman to to believe that somehow god left something out in other words he was holding something back and so she goes eats of the tree and then gives adam and he did eat and now everything shut down everything was lost now they lost the position they lost the purpose they lost the provision and they lost the power the power is that anointing that blessing that god gave them so they lost all of that now jesus came to get it all back now of course they start working the plan of redemption so i wrote something down here many have no idea the level of power redemption confers upon them i'll say that again many of god's people have no idea the level of power that redemption confers upon them no idea no idea now we're going to go in there and give you an idea because i want you to see something this power is in you this power is in you a lot of times we see that jesus and what he did and how he he he he healed the sick as a matter of fact i put some things down here in in matthew chapter 9 in verse 33 he preached the gospel of the kingdom and and the bible talks about healing every sickness and every disease that i want among the people and it says oh let me just get right and preach the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every disease among the people that's in matthew chapter 9 verse 35 in matthew's gospel chapter 15 and verse it said something interesting and jesus departed from thence and came nigh unto the sea of galilee and went up into the mountain and sat down there and the great multitudes came unto him having with them those that were lame blind dumb maimed and many others and he and cast them down at jesus feet and he healed them in so much at the multitude wondered when they saw the dumb to speak the main to be made whole the lame to walk the blind to see and they glorified the god of israel now notice what he did he healed the mane i'm talking about people came in there that legs had been amputated because of some disease or somebody had been in a war and gotten their arm cut off or somebody was born without one kidney or whatever have you it made no difference because jesus came and he healed every one of them say amen to that but not only that look at matthew chapter 14 and starting here at verse 14 he says and jesus went up and saw into and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them and healed their sick and when it was evening his disciples came to him saying this is the desert place and the time is now past send the multitudes away that they may go into the villages and buy themselves rituals or food but jesus said unto them they need not depart you feed them glory to god and they said unto him we have here but five loaves and two fishes and he said well bring them hither to me and he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass and took the five loaves and the two fishes and looked up the heaven and blessed and break and gave the loaves to his disciples and the disciples to the multitude and they did all eat and were filled anybody who went in the bucket twice got another helping if they went in three times they got another helping now the problem wasn't shortage of food the problem was the knowledge of the anointing because that anointing will not only add a limb to your body but that anointing will put food on your table [Music] now not only that let's go to mark's gospel and mark chapter four and this is when jesus sent them over to the other side and verse 37 and there rose a great storm of wind and the waves beat into the ship it was now full oh that sounds like galveston and that it says and he was in behind a part of the ship asleep on a pillow and they awake him they said unto him master don't you care that we're about to die that's first winston and he arose he rebuked the wind and said to the sea peace be still and the wind ceased and there was a great calm and then he said to them why are you so fearful how is that you have no faith and they feared exceedingly and said one to another what manner of man is this that even the wind and the sea obey him well look at john's gospel chapter 14. over in john chapter 14 jesus sets the record straight he said this in verse 10 believeth thou that i am in the father and the father in me the words that i speak unto you i speak not of myself but the father that dwelleth in me now he's doing the work he's the one that makes the blind to see he's the one that makes the maim to be made whole he's the one that fed the multitude he is the one you see when you look at that and look at verse 4 12 it says verily i say unto you he that believes on me the works that i do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do because i'm going to the father he is saying in these last days you gonna make the name to be made whole you gonna be feeding neighborhoods you gonna be stopping storms come on now wait a minute now this anointing look at mark chapter 5. this is interesting you mean the same thing is on me yeah see in the old testament it wasn't in them it was on them i'm gonna preach and i'm gonna pray it it wasn't in them it was on them in fact if you look in the old testament and you can look at first samuel and chapter 17 16 pardon me chapter 16 and this is when now david is going to be chosen to be anointed so samuel the prophet shows up at jesse's house and i'm going to put this in my own words hey i'm supposed to anoint somebody up in here and and and samuel said oh let me call my boys hey boys come here come here they had just come from the health club hey y'all come come on in here so they came on here near you know looking real muscular kind of like myself don't hate don't hate participate and and so what happened is it's now samuel [Music] no no th this this is not them uh do you have another one see you got to ask the holy ghost the right question don't ever forget that do you have another one oh yeah i got another one now he's out there keeping sheep he's a musician well bring him in here now wait a minute now he's the youngest of amber 16. bring him in here so he comes he comes in there you know he's a musician so you know he come in there hey hey what up sam what what's going on what's going on baby give me something give me something hey hey praise god and and you know musicians and so and so what did samuel say this is him now i know jesus said lord jesus whoa but he anointed him look what it says here in first samuel chapter 16 and look at verse 13 then samuel took the horn of oil he poured it on him and anointed him in the midst of his brethren and the spirit of the lord came upon david from that day forward so samuel arose up and went to rhema but the spirit of the lord departed from saul and an evil spirit from the lord troubled him now that's you got to do some study here because it says an evil spirit from the lord the lord does not have evil the lord does not have evil if he puts evil spirits on folk and you're supposed to act like him why would you put you know to me so he doesn't put evil spiritual folk what happened is when that spirit of the lord came off of saul then the evil just closed in now i want you to see this because in the old testament the spirit of god could be put on somebody and if they weren't obedient or whatever happened it could be taken off but not so in the new testament when he comes on you he will be with you forever praise god [Applause] that spirit came on david from that day forward and here david went back to keeping sheep then a lion came to come get one of the sheep what did he do with his bare hands killed him then a bear came come and get the sheep with his bare hands killed him then his father said take some crackers and cheese up to your brothers on the front line now i'm putting it in his own work can i use my own words on this and he started taking them up and then they it was up there they were hiding because of this big man goliath and david said what y'all hiding about they said well there's god he's he's asking somebody to come out and fight him and david said well what what wait a minute who is this uncircumcised philistine that's all you want to know is he circumcised so what happened next is here he is he goes and makes his way all the way up to the front line when he got to the front line here's saul he's telling saul what he did and saul said i tell you what here's my armor take my armor david's tried it on he said wait a minute did this this i haven't tested this stuff out he said i've got an anointing on me that i've tested and it has proven so what did he do he moved towards the front line and here is goliath looking at david coming at him and he started calling him names and cursing at him and so forth and david said something starting i think in verse 44 he said this day he said big guy wait a minute look at me look at me look at me now this day will the lord deliver you into my hands watch this i'm going to kill you then i'm going to cut your head off and step aside for a minute see your whole army i'm gonna feed every one of them to buzzards no not now i want you to see something he had the anointing but he had to release the anointing see are you with me here you see and you can release the anointing through faith-filled words and so notice what he said this day see he didn't say next tuesday if he had said next tuesday god would have had to wait till next through the man [Applause] say amen then what happened is he ran towards the giant and i'll have to tell you he slayed him walk around with his head and then slayed the arm i'm just telling you right now there is no limit to that anointing and the devil is not after you he is after that anointing because he knows with that anointing you can undo anything he'd undone [Applause] glory to god i see y'all make me preach up here i'm trying to teach to say to you now so what am i saying i'm saying that this anointing is now on you and me now wait a minute it's the anointing [Music] that does the work i said it's the anointing that does the work look what he said in second kings and chapter two this is when the prophet elijah was anointed and he was about to leave and he was being served by a junior prophet in training named elisha so now elijah is about to be taken away and it says here he asked his protege he said now what can i do for you and verse 9 says i pray let a double portion of your spirit be upon me and this what he said well you now you've asked a hard thing but the anointing don't care how hard it is and he said in verse 11 if it came to pass that he still went on and talked and he said to them if you see me when i'm taken up you'll get it verse 12 and elijah saw it and cried my father my father the chariot of israel and the horsemen thereof and he said to him no more he saw him no more and he took hold of his own clothes and rent them in two pieces he took up also the mantle of elijah that fell from him and he went back and stood by the bank of jordan and he took the mantle of elijah that fell from him and smoked the waters and said where is the lord god of elijah now notice when he smoked the waters they parted so the miracle took place but he didn't ask where is elijah he asked where is the god of elijah and i'm saying this because elijah wasn't doing the work it was the anointing on elijah that was doing the work now if the anointing can be on elijah why can't that anointing be on you if the anointing can be on david why can't that same anointing be on you notice how old david was he was 16 years old well if the anointing will work on a 16 year old why would it work on a 100 year old if you don't do it and the anointing is the thing that doesn't then you can do the impossible i don't care how young you are how old you are so in the last days we gonna see 12 year old children laying hands on the sick and they gonna recover it's not going to be you jesus said that he said it's the father in me he's doing the work see he just needs you as a vessel he needs your authority so that he can do what he's always wanted to do for humanity say amen to that whew so now y'all got me preaching hard here all right let's keep going can we keep going okay now christ in you now satan is after that anointing let's go over to first john that's little john back to by the book of revelation and chapter 2 verse 18. little children it is the last time and as you have heard that an antichrist shall come even now are there many antichrists whereby we know it is the last time so notice what satan is after he's after christ what is christ means the anointed one and his anointing so he's after that anointing because he knows you don't do the work he knows the anointing does the work so if he can just stop that anointing he can stop the church so let's go back to judges chapter 16 if you've got time over in judges chapter 16 this is about a man named samson i'm sure some of you have heard of this man before uh if we stop at judges chapter 15 you will see here in verse 15 that he found a new jawbone of an ice and put forth his hand and took it and slew how many men a thousand men there with so samson as you know was anointed as a judge so he was going to fight with some men and grab the jawbone of a donkey and kill the thousands say a thousand times more so in chapter 16 this woman started making eyes at him named delilah now he didn't know it but this woman was sent by the devil now true enough he used some people but it was sent by the devil they even offered him money and so forth so what she said to do to find out the secret of his strength he had been taken a nazarite vow that he wouldn't let this happen wouldn't cut his hair no strong drink so forth and so on and look what it says in verse 16 of chapter 16. and it came to pass when she pressed him daily with her words and urged him so that his soul was vexed to death that he told her all his heart and said unto her there has not come a razor upon my head for i have been a nazarite unto god from my mother's womb and if i be shaven then my strength will go from me and i shall become weak and be like come on help me any other man watch this now if my hair is cut i will lose my strength watch this and become what weak come on say it weak like any other man so compared to a person who is anointed to a person who is not anointed they are weak they don't have what you have say amen now you know the story the story was she he told her in secret she said samson the philistines are upon you now they had bound him and before he would break those binds but now he didn't know that his his strength had departed from him now let me tell you how i interpret that i interpret that as the church too close to the world [Applause] now understand we're supposed to go in the world but not be do you hear what i'm saying look what he says in first john chapter 2 if you will and verse 15. y'all don't mind if i preach a little bit here now in first john chapter 2 and look at verse 15 love not the world neither the things that are in the world if any man love the world the love of the father come on it's not in it for all that is in the world the lusts of the flesh the lusts of the eyes the pride of life it's not of the father come on but is of the world now notice he's not saying don't go in the world but that's why if you're not married the scriptures tell you don't marry a person if they're not in saved they're not born again well because they're start infected i've seen a guy now if you're married to somebody who is not born again the bible says by you the whole house will be sanctified say amen to that and then he'll give you a strategy to win that person to christ because he promised that not only you be saved but your whole house will be saved as well [Applause] so don't be getting mad at nobody or when you saved you know when your husband or somebody's not not saying don't be opening the bible on on their side of the bed to the scripture that said love your wife and so forth don't don't be aggravating nobody get to get from the holy ghost the strategy to make that happen i know a personal example we were teaching on kingdom marriage and and as i was teaching that a lady wrote a letter to my wife she said that same thing happened to me and my uh my apartment my mother and father when they were young well i described the fact that you know you stand in the house with the same person and and the same the person is disagreeable so forth and so on and she said what happened to her mother and daddy is that her father was what they married and they were married for about six months and then after that a father got abusive so verbal abuse so forth and and she this woman was a believer strong believer so what happened was she said all right she prayed to god she said lord you said touch not my anointing and do my prophets come on no harm and and so forth so what happened she she said that night she went to bed and he went to bed and god came to him the husband in a dream here's what he told him abuse her again and you're going to hell and so now this is a true story i didn't think of it lady rota she said he woke up in a cold sweat boom and and shook her and said wake up wake up wake up now she she thought something was about to jump off y'all know what i mean by jump off and and he said then i'm sorry i'm sorry please forgive me i'll never do that again she said from that day for 50 years of marriage they walked hand in hand he gave her gifts all the time i'm telling you god knows how to fix some things just get the anointing great stuff so now what happens let's look at this let's see what time i got lord have mercy okay well i know y'all don't we know all of this and i got from numbers and chapter 13 that the biggest problem is with the leadership now i'm putting myself under that we got to make sure that we are teaching god's word to god's people say amen to that so as i looked at this i said now this leadership what is happening with the leadership one too many times leaders are trying to be politically correct don't shout me down because i'm preaching good now other times it's unbelief the bible says in mark chapter 6 jesus could do nobody works in his own hometown because of what unbelief see unbelief doesn't mean not believing nothing unbelief means believing something that's not true and then the third one tradition he said in matthew 15 you've made my word of not a fact because of your tradition now i'm going i'm going to hit on a couple of things sticks and stones may break my bones but words come on help me will not hurt me the bible says in proverbs chapter 18 21 that death and life come on are in the chapter 13 what happened is they came back and the leaders came back the 12 spies and 10 of them had what kind of report an evil report remember they said we can't take it there's giants in the land so forth i'm talking about leadership now two of them said let us go up at once and possess it for we are well able say i'm well able we're well able to overcome it see so look what it says in numbers chapter 14 starting at verse 1 and all the congregation lifted up their voice and they cried and the people wept that night and all the children of israel murmured against moses against aaron and the whole congregation said to them would god that we had died in the land of egypt or would god that we had died in this wilderness and wherefore had the lord brought us into this land to fall by the sword and our wives and our children would be a prey worried not better for us to return to egypt and they said one to another let us vote in another pastor that we may return to egypt see jesus was a good shepherd say amen to that notice what he said let's go over to the other side talking to his disciples he knew satan had planned a storm because the holy ghost told him but he went to sleep why because hebrews 12 2 says he's the author and finisher come on of your faith you look up the word finisher in the greek it means developer it's jesus as soon as he finished preaching on something about sowing and reaping he'll say feed him it's jesus that says hey as soon as i finish preaching on the power of god that's working through you i'm gonna say go to the other side and notice what happened he's not trying to weaken them he's trying to show them what they got in them say amen to that and when the bishop comes and says we're going to build a new complex it's going to only cost 18 million dollars and guess what you're going to build it i don't know about that no that's jesus taking you to the other side he's trying to show you that you got enough anointing in you to meet the harm i can do all things through christ which strengtheneth me if god before me who can be against me he always causes me to triumph see i'm confessing now he called me to chicago to start a ministry ain't gonna be able to find no place fast what did i do i was going downtown a guy said hey i want to help you with your ministry here notice every door started opening a lady opened her home kept me and my family she said god said keep you till you get started i only had 200 and so what i'm going downtown to meet this gentleman now i've been confessing all of this now it's time to possess all of this and so i'm walking downtown on a big street called lasalle street which is like a wall street in new york and this lasalle street is a business district it was during the 12 noon hour people were out on lunch break all of a sudden while i'm walking on this side of the street i hear a commotion on that side i look over there and it looked like a man he was swinging at people and they were all circled around him and he was swinging at him he looked like he was a homeless gentleman and because i was walking this way i kept walking this way and so god said go over there to him i want to say get thee behind me i ain't going over that and but notice i got to go to the other side somewhere in your life you're gonna have to go to the other side you're gonna have to believe you receive when you pray you're gonna have to know that god is with you and he will not abandon you so what did i do i kept walking but a gentleman i looked behind me and a gentleman about 10 pages behind me he was looking at me like this like he heard something and i began to feel guilty about it convicted about it and and i look i said god said i said go to the other side go over there to him and then i just gave in now i understand i've been confessing understand i'm loaded with power understand god has a need to use me in this earth it's not going to be me it's going to be him that's going to do the work he just needs me to be of good courage so i looked no cars were coming even though that was a really busy street and i took it and i stepped out onto the street when i did it felt like something exploded inside of me i felt 10 feet tall i felt totally invincible you see we're trying to get the feeling in our seat but you ain't gonna get the feeling in your seat you're gonna get the feeling when you step out on the faith of god's word i got to the other side of the street and that guy was swinging at people still and i came i used about 20 pages of 15 paces in front of me and the people crowded around him and i was walking towards him just like this because when that anointing takes over you my friend you are not afraid anymore when that anointing hit martin luther king he said i listen he said adam into the mountaintop he said i'm not afraid anymore something will happen to you when you're not afraid anymore i was walking towards him like this now understand he was on the on down the street and then it's like he knew the jesus in me the demons in him knew the jesus in me and he did this just like that well normally if i didn't have that anointing i'd have went right back across the street [Applause] i walked up to it and as i was walking something happened people just parted i see it happen in luke chapter four people just parted and i walked up to him and i said he was a big guy i said my friend what is your problem he said they stole my cigarettes i said listen come with me let me tell you about a jesus who gives you more than cigarettes i said i went on down to lead him to christ i'm telling you right now there was a demoniac man on the other side of that storm and when he got there he threw himself down at jesus feet that what have i to do with you jesus well you can't cast me you have you come to deliver me before my time or whatever he said and jesus said come out of the man you unclean spirit and the bible says when the people came they saw this man who was out of his mind clothed and in his right mind i'm here to tell you there are people calling for the church now come on now there are people getting shot people failing people illiterate they're calling for the church the problem with the world has been the church we have heard enough teaching you've heard some of the best teaching in this church in the name of jesus all over the the street and they you know looking unassuming and then here comes the gentleman smartly dressed kind of like me and he's coming don't hate participate and so what happened he comes towards them and in the world is that so i went on into mcdonald's i got in line because some people in there and i was going to get a cup of tea and the door swung open there's a man of god and there was this lady very heavyset lady she was on a cane she could hardly walk she it's what she said i knew it was my day i knew when i woke up this morning stuff and said this is your day and and so as i'm once he's walking towards me she said that's a man of god so everybody's looking at me now now i said lord i said what does this woman want i said i bet she want me to lay hands on i'm gonna lay hands on this woman again and as he got closer i got braced up i said in the name of jesus be healed boom the power hit the lady her cane went up in the air and she went back and i told you it was my day did i tell things get tight around the house next month i'm trying to borrow money next month i'm just saying things went down down why because the way of the transgressor gets hard and what happened i one night came from a late party put my head on the pillow at this apartment i was staying in by myself because things had gotten real bad and i said this lord would you please help me i didn't know what i was saying but the bible says whosoever calls on the name of the lord shall be saved a lady came by my place at work about three or four days later hey bill you want to go with me tonight well i was single she was single she looked good i said yeah she took me to a meeting i'm thinking i'm going to you know boog it down but we came in the back door of an auditorium of a school i came in the door and people raised their hands praising god i said oh my lord what is this i got into here my brother saw me and he said my brother god loves you you see you didn't choose him he chose you see i don't care i don't care whether you've been i don't care what you've done been incarcerated been this and that i don't care what you've done he chose you and he chose me and that night i just melted i gave my life to christ not only that a man of god laid hands on me the power of god hit me next thing i know that i had gone to the doctor because i was having problems with my stomach all that cleared up just like that let me tell you from that day on i've been going up what happened to me right after that i got number one in sales chicago i'm telling you i got out got promoted i mean all kinds of things got healed and inside of my life my social my relationship everything got here why because god has control now now there's somebody here that you've been coming to church or maybe you've been in church but you don't know him you don't know the anointed one now here's what it takes you got to humble yourself you got to say lord i need help and guess what he'll come in and meet you right where you are so if you're here and you know that's you i'm saying this it no matter what's happening in your life no matter why you came here i want to get you into the kingdom i want you to know
