well how many of you've heard me speak before okay maybe about a third of you okay well those of you who have heard me speak before you know that I'm a practical teacher that my job is when you walk away that you actually know how to do what we're doing I had a sermon that I had planned for today which God said no you're not going to do that and so then I thought great what am I going to do and he didn't tell me till last night which is a little better than in worship because because I get that a lot I'm actually concerned now when I have a sermon ahead of time because if I have it ahead of time then he usually changes it in the front row and I'm scribbling trying to get it done but I got to practice on the first service so I think this will be a little bit better it's one of those messages you know it's interesting being a prophetic person you did not hear me say prophet you said a prophetic person it's interesting being a prophetic person that you speak out of a prophetic place and a prophetic place it's not usually fashioned and formed in you you know I have a teaching gift but I'm not a teacher I'm more a prophetic person and so it's interesting when you get up in front of people you think god I hope this works you know I just hope that the what you have put in me actually comes across the way you expected to come across so I like to do this prayer god help yeah so actually it's like calm Holy Spirit's my favorite prayer Holy Spirit would you come to the best of my ability I'm going to explain what I think you told me to do and would you change everything that's wrong and would you impart to each and every person in the room exactly what they need to hear even if they hear a different sermon that I preached so that they would hear what is in your spirit for them to hear in Jesus name yeah that covers it pretty well all right well I want to talk about discernment and I'm going to talk about it I have a little bit more time in this one so I'm going to build it a little bit more a two years ago the Lord told me it's time to start telling the king he's not wearing its clothes and you know it's the Emperor you know with no clothes and Theresa and I were talking about that and you know we it's been interesting that I think in the church one of the least-used gifts is discernment you know I think it really has been time for us to start bringing discernment back into the church and so I've really gone after discernment like hat training discernment teaching people how to discern what is discernment what is not discernment what is a critical spirit and cased in discernment you know because we don't want that guy what is discernment in accusation and then it brings fear well we don't want that either but we don't want to be on the other side of well we're so frustrated on the lack of proper discernment that we decide that we don't discern anymore and we just we just pretend that nothing's wrong right but there are things wrong and if you're not facing it you're going to get tripped up just as much so in the middle of all of my last couple years of really going after discernment and proper discernment bringing it into the church I just feel like this is a little tag in as I've gone through that there are some themes that we need to talk about today that is built upon what you haven't already heard from me and so I'm just going to say that this is a greater nonot graders probably it is a furthering of discernment but kind of like towards the end of what discernment is if that makes sense okay so I'm just going to assume you're all great discern errs and we'll go from there okay so you know what's interesting to me is some of these stories I'm going to tell are just really fun it's interesting to me how God speaks to believers and non-believers it surprises me sometimes how much easier non-believers hear from God it just you know we run the social ministry with Teresa who's back somewhere there she is and we we find over and over that people come in for so Zoe's and get saved and some of them have been in church a long time that's always shocking and you're going through the Sozo and you think I don't think they know Jesus or you're thinking I think they know the wrong Jesus okay well that would be you guys oh yeah that would be like a lie a false belief system inside where it's been pretending to be it's like mmm something's not right here well my husband runs the financial places at Bethel and we were invited to do his prosperous soul ministry which is a wonderful ministry on healing the heart issues on your money it's like why do you misuse your money he says you know money is a really good worker but it's a really bad master he says you know and money will go out and work for you and it'll make babies that will work for you it's called interest dividends he says but it's a really bad master so he teaches people about what's in your heart how to change what's in your heart so that when you actually have all of the stuff that God wants to give you you can hold it because you know how many people get a lot of money and just lose it because they're squirrely with it right okay so this is what we're going to go teach but we're going to go teach to businessmen who are not believers and so we get personally invited to this seminar and it's put prosperous soul it's put on the this man's website it's his own closed session and he brings 20 of his clients because he they're very high influential clients and he says I'm only inviting 20 in case this doesn't work because if it doesn't work I don't want my client base to just leave I need to have you know enough people still with me to make money so I'm only bringing 20 we're going to test this out okay and my husband are like do it'll work we're like I don't know let's give it a try so he says well you'll come with me and you can teach your shifting atmospheres to businesses you know and he says all teaching stuff okay all right so we get there and we kind of survey the crowd now they know we're believers it says right on the thing the run that they're invited to these are Christians coming they will work on non-christian language for you okay but let just give them they didn't call it grace but whatever give them the ability to just use language they can okay and he says but you don't have to be a Christian so we survey the group okay we have a couple of disgruntled Christians in the crowd that was fun not we have a Jewish couple who when we would do all of the activations would pray to God and hold even the spirit but they wouldn't pray to Jesus and they were like is you know my husband's doing stuff as long as you don't pray to Jesus it's okay I mean God can figure out who he is right okay kind of fun I'm not sure how they the Holy Spirit was okay but that's interesting I thought it was cool I'm side note they followed us to other seminars Christian seminars along the way to learn more and we're here we're here so kind of fun they're still Jewish yeah yeah anyway side note okay back come on back so so we did it and we started looking at this and we have some we have a gentleman we have two gentleman from Eastern East Germany who actually had no grid that the thought of a god which blew me away I mean I know I'm in America I know that all Americans at least have heard the word God even if it's in slang no we have heard the word god but he was just dumbfounded he was like he took us aside and he - guys they're like we don't get it and what are you talking about god it looks like like dog like he's never seen a dog so what would a dog be you know it's like but what flower it's a farm he had no I mean that is totally foreign to us okay then we had some people who knew that there was a God but didn't like him and then we had a shaman and that was interesting so we'll tell some of those stories so as we're teaching them about their finances as we're teaching him about how to have authority where we're doing some of the normal stuff we would do without telling them our language okay so my husband gives me my favorite one of his that I can do is called roots and fruits and it's basically make the tree good you know you can't have bad fruit on a good tree and good fruit on a bad tree and he says you know Christians have become great fruit pickers this bad fruit pops out Punk and you're like oh pastor doesn't need to see this would that come from right and instead of killing the tree we pick the fruit okay and so one of the things that he does in this is he does the roots and fruits we get into where are the roots why is that bad fruit popping out because it's not coming from a good tree right so he gave me that one I'm like yes I love this this is so so so truth and lies what's a lie I believe get the lie out put truth in and so I'm beginning to teach and as I'm teaching these guys about forgiveness Matthew 18 I'm telling them you know we need to forgive and you know it's so interesting to me that the world now has forgiveness therapy now they're not saying God I ask to forgive or God I choose to be they're just saying forgive and it works it's interesting to me how many principles in the Bible I mean the principles of the Bible do work even when they're not attached to God isn't that interesting but it's also scary not scary like fear scary but it is it can be misused when you don't attach it to God okay so we're going through forgiveness we're doing things and then I say okay I don't know if this will work but I just have this function or this this idea that would it be fun to see what God says to them okay so I said I'll take out a piece of paper and you know they're they're enjoying me there we're getting a good rapport and right one to ten they're like all right so the right 1 to 10 they don't know what they're going to do and I sort of close your eyes okay those were eyes repeat after me God God I totally all of them God I don't know what the Germans were thinking but God and he says and I said God what are the lies I'm believing about myself and they just start writing down the lies they're believing mother so I'm thinking I look at my husband like this is working this is awesome and then I thought isn't this great they're hearing God's so let's turn it over right 1 through 10 and ask him God God what are the lies I believe about you and they're writing them down and I'm just thinking this is so fun these are non mostly non-believers hearing from God can't beat that it was so fun so then I think hmm what should we do that I know what we're going to do God we're going to do prophetic act now I don't tell them that's what we're going to do I just say okay guys so now that you have your paper I want you to put it over your head they go for over the head and they're like and I said okay so say this God God these lies have been over my head and I said now take the piece of paper and put it under your feet stand on it and say and today I declare they are under my feet standing on and you can feel in the spirit realm something shift okay no we haven't done an altar call no we haven't had Christ received but something is happening in the spirit room because what he teaches what God tells us is truth and truth transfers right so then it was so fun because right then the Sozo team came out and I thought oh thank you Jesus is such a setup now I have a prayer team so I said come over here guys and they said we didn't plan this at all and they stood up I said now take this piece of paper where you've written down the lies you believe about yourself in God and go up there fold it up so they can't read it and ask them who God says you are so now they're about to get a prophetic word right and they're crying these business men and women crying because God is telling them the exact opposite of what was on their paper it was an amazing seminar I have to tell this story this shaman goes in for his sozo because part of the deal is when you signed up the twenty view that signed up you also book two Sozo now they don't know what a sozo is they just know that it's something part of this deal and the shaman goes in for the Sozo after this event after this teaching and he walks in and he sits down to the lady and he says yeah I won't pray to God I won't pray to Jesus I will not pray the Holy Spirit she goes what do you want to do says well she talked about forgiveness and unlocking us and Matthew 18 getting us out of prison and she said he said so I'm ready to forgive she's like okay now the fun part is this woman has been working as in like a rehab clinic and so she's worked with a lot of Alcoholics Anonymous techniques and one of the things is what's your higher power and she said for her this is not abnormal to have someone come in angry at God or not wanting to deal with God but they asked have you chosen your higher power and a lot of them will say no I don't know how to choose and she'll tell them well I have one you can borrow and his name is Jesus and she said she's not once had them ever give him back so it was great because as he starts telling as he starts going through forgiveness I think most of us who haven't been in that realm would have just you know felt like Twilight Zone because he starts going okay I choose to forgive the British in 1776 when they came over and shot and killed me hmm I forgive my brother in the Civil War who was on the other side while I was on this side and we shot and killed each other and he just starts going through past life regressions which we know is not true but he is doing forgiveness in this fantasy realm thank you Jesus I wasn't in that room because I would have stopped him and gone dude you are crazy we have another minutes no no kids took it no but I I don't think I would have known what to do you know because I just I'm thinking in my head I would have been thinking how is this going to work this isn't even reality that he's forgiving in but she just sat there and just let him go about I don't know I don't want to overstate it but somewhere within 15 20 30 minutes somewhere in there he stops and says and I need to do business with this Jesus guy cuz he do we have any kids yeah we did okay because he wasn't there at 2:00 and this happened to me and he wasn't here at 4:00 when this happened to me and he just went off on Jesus ah now we're getting real and he only got to be real because she didn't react where was his past lives they were places for him to take his pain where his reality could handle this horrible stuff that happened to him so this was an amazing seminar God is speaking to non-believers things are happening they are getting charged they're getting set free it is awesome so Steve says okay get up there and teach him shifting atmospheres I'm like yeah this is so cool we've already heard the shamans thing I'm like oh my gosh this is work and this is great and I'm teaching and I'm talking about okay you're business owners you're in charge of the atmosphere in your business you can't come up here and complain to me if you don't like what's going on in your business because it's your fault I believe that if you are the head boss the atmosphere is your job if you don't like the atmosphere check yourself figure it out if you got an employee who is giving bad atmosphere off well you know the word fire is legal anyway anyway never mind honestly no it's like it's your job to fix that it's your job to have those confrontation nice but strong hey we don't treat people like that hey we don't scream and yell at customers when they call in not good for business hey we're not just nice to clients or actually nice to the person sitting next to you you work with hey have you thought of this a nice ending you know what a lot of people are modeling what you are you can shift the atmosphere in your and I'm I'm having fun they're getting it they're like revelations happening and then I'm thinking okay now I'm going to teach them what it's like to shift out masseurs when you go places and God said stop how much and it's like do not teach the world this secret as my husband was teaching he's teaching and I can tell he's holding some things back and I'm wondering what's going on we get to the end of the seminar and he stands up and they love I mean nobody doesn't love him I mean he's so funny he's very humble he's very pastoral so he's got them all eating out of the palm maybe they're just like this guy's awesome and everything he says they're getting but I can tell there's something he's holding back now we are believers we are not we are not saying we're not apologizing for it we're working hard to give the language and every one of them on the review said we did not feel preached at we actually felt invited in to write so you get to the end of the seminar and my husband says to the to the group he says now it says I have handed you we have handed you power tools that we plug in to the source called Jesus so then I honestly don't know how this power tool is going to work when you plug it into your weird gods all I know is how it works when we plug it into Jesus and the Holy Spirit Father God he said so you know and I my brain hid went to it like a belt sander you know a belt sander that actually when you plug it in and it just sans really fast well you can use a belt sander mm-hmm without electricity but it's gonna wear you out right and I and he's saying to the team he's like ah I hope this works for you you know but I I would assume that some of it will and some of it won't because you're not plugged into the right source well not everybody rushed the you know to the front to save but it gave them some idea of what to do with this power oh do i I'm going to try the power source but you know they're going to get out there and realize it's going to be missing a little bit because it's not plugged in to the socket so we both felt like there were things that were limiting even though the world heard it even though the world received it even though they had no trouble at all getting revelation and information from God there were themes that we both felt God said hold and I think about that as that check in your spirit is what we're going to talk about today for discernment I think that we need to keep that to pay attention to that there's so many times when people are drawing on you and you're feeling the excitement of it all or you're just you're just excited to be alive and be in God and you're just vomiting over the world and people are like dude I didn't really need to hear that it's like yeah you did because it's awesome god is great they're like I don't care you know it says in Scripture don't toss your pearls before swine you know it there there is a time when Christians need to shut up and and then there's times when we need to be bolder that's part of discernment and so as you're talking as you're going for it pay attention to that check because I really felt like as we talked about it later my husband and I I told him I felt that that I knew it was going well I knew what I could teach him but I knew the minute I was about to tell them how to shift atmospheres when you go places it would be picked up as witchcraft because they would use the tools of the kingdom against us and gods like I don't think you want the world to know this secret well look what happened we have a couple of scriptures we're going to look at and one of them that shows us this is in second Kings twenty thirteen through 18 these there were invoice that came to Hezekiah they tricked him they said they were from far far away but they're actually neighboring Hezekiah received the envoys and showed them all that was in his storehouses the silver the gold the spices the fine oil his armory everything among the treasures there was nothing in his palace or in his kingdom that he did not show them now okay good so in this place it doesn't say that he was proud I mean it could in the sense but it wasn't like he's awesome he's amazing it could simply have been he was excited to show the blessing of the Lord and how God had done amazing things so he's thinking sure I'll show you I'll show you what it's like to be a believer I'll show you all the amazing things that can happen and as he's showing this let's keep going on here and I'll read it because I can see that thank you Jesus then Isaiah the prophet went to the King Hezekiah said what did these men seen where they come to you and he said they've come from a far country from Babylon which was not true so he blew that discernment right it was a trick he said what have they seen in your house and he answered everything I've shown them everything there's nothing in the treasures that I've not shown them whoops and Isaiah said hear the word of the Lord behold the days are coming when all that is in your house and what your fathers have accumulated until this day shall be carried to Babylon and nothing shall be left says the Lord ow there's more to that but what happened he stepped past discernment well actually he didn't have in the beginning because he couldn't figure out the guys were lying but I feel like had I stepped past that check in my spirit I would have been handing a gift to the world that would have become a weapon against us and I think we need to be careful I don't feel afraid that the world is going to use it I know that I just felt it was a great learning tool God said stop now stop now be careful when you hear that because you think I was hard to stop because they were eating it up they were like wow this is fun and I'm just going you know you're on you're on a roll and they're just and you know they're getting it and it's awesome and stop now and I'm like and I'm done it was so odd anybody want that I'm done it was just so odd but it was like no you have to be able to know as you're practicing your discernment you need to know to stop you need to know you need to be able to discern is this am i being tricked are they really wanting to hear or is it a trick we were in the Netherlands and there's such an issue in all of society with excuse me but the gay agenda I am not against gay people I'm against the agenda I'm against it being shoved in my face I'm against it being taught to my children I'm against the fact that I don't have a right to have a different opinion you know I just don't see how that's constitutional but okay I'll get off my soapbox there's other agendas too but this is one so we're in the Netherlands and a lesbian worker walks up to a Christian and says so what do you think about my lifestyle and she's trying so hard not to say anything because she's thinking this is a trap danger Will Robinson are all old people okay most people don't know that anymore oh that's me little okay um it's you know it's like so the kids over here like what is she talking about yeah actually they have a movie out they have that movie out it's not very good but it's the Will Robinson one they have the danger rule room so they okay it's coming back okay um but so she asked her and she corners her until she finally says well it is an abomination she didn't say that she actually said actually God says it's wrong Christian got fired it's a trap and I'm thinking I have this high this justice meter man that is not right that's a you have no right to ask me my opinion and then fire me because I give you my opinion but that's how it works because of the agenda okay and so this woman that we're with is terrified because she's a believer in this with this lady and she was I don't know what to do because it's not right to to not tell her but she she forces you to say something and I said you just gonna have to hold on to the Holy Spirit and let him give you the words because you know we're not going to deny Christ no way but we have to be wise in what we're doing right so I'm not sure why I brought that up but somebody needed to hear that so that check in your spirit we need to pay attention hold hold it's like the Braveheart movie hold you know now you're like now now hold hold your thinking anytime now would be awesome Chris valeton I've heard him say as a prophet he says you know a prophet is known on earth for what he shares here but he's known in heaven for what he does not share what he keeps silent and I was talking to Lori Westwood and I said you know help me with a little bit better with the sermon and and she said you know God's been showing her so many times how to stay silent and not blab everything and it's like God wants to give us secrets but he doesn't want him not to become not to stay secret you know there are things he shares with us that he wants to work in us until it actually becomes a message of our life that people can read without us blurting out right and it's important a lot of times that you sit on the things now if he's telling you to share it you share it but if he's telling you to hold you hold and that's a discernment that needs to come into the church as we do it but look yeah look at what else is this is a better one this is more encouraging this is when Queen the Sheep bashira the Queen comes and she talks to Solomon so we're not first Kings now the next one there we go when the Queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon all the wisdom of Solomon the house he had built okay the food on his table the seating of his servants the service of his waiters and their apparel his cup bearers in his entry way by which he went up to the house of the Lord which actually in Hin na s is a stairway went up to house the Lord there was no more spirit in her leave this one up now he discerned correctly she did not come to harm him she came to enquire see there's a difference you can have the same message inside of you and God will say hold with this person share with this person why because this person is trying to trap you like the woman that tried to trap there and this one wants to know about the Lord do you see that get your discerner moving get it going we're going to pray about that in a minute to get more discernment but know that it can look the same and you're going to have to check why am I keep pushing here you know I've been told that your spirit resides here I don't know but what I do know is if it's true my spirits been expanding so when people go more Lord I'm like meal nuts noon so let's keep it here the Queen saw all these things she saw his food his servants how they were dressed she saw the lavish way that father God has lavished this kingdom just like Hezekiah showed off right but what's interesting here is it says and when she saw the entryway by which he went up to Lord or the staircase or in some cases is actually the burnt offerings given burnt offering is the same root as the staircase which is interesting do you realize it doesn't say when he took her up the staircase see he held something back and my husband does says it this way he sees it in his mind this way that she would ask a question he's in his garment and he's a king and and she would say what about this like what did I dream last night and he'd go give me a minute and he would go up to the staircase and he actually season in his mind like he would begin to disrobe take off his kingly stuff how amazing he is and we get in before the Lord and he would ask the Lord in this place of servant in this place of Revelation in this place of wisdom and he would get revelation and he would come back you dress and we walk out and he would give her the answer there are some things the church needs to guard for the for the church there are some secrets that should just be for us and you're only going to know what it is as you have that meter of discernment it doesn't mean you're not able to release the wisdom it doesn't mean God is holding back and stingy it just means we need to know is it a trap or is it really somebody about to hear and receive the revelation of the wisdom so we're going to have to figure that out and I bet there's a lot of us in here who have actually not shut up when we should have yeah I know me too I call it the forerunner curse but it's really just blabbing you know the excitement the enthusiasm of who we are and what we have in you know there's so me oh here's a funny thing I'm sitting in hell what is this what is the movie Oh private Saving Private Ryan can I'm watching Saving Private Ryan I'm like oh the whole time duh and we get to the end how many of you seen Saving Private Ryan a bloody yucky gah okay they get to the end and everyone's dying we get to the end and there's this moment with Tom Hanks and this guy that they rescued and he says what to him he says earn it I got I was in the movie theater I said up in my chair I said no and my boys are pulling me down I was so mad I'm like that man is gonna have to live his life trying to earn everybody's death well that was a shouldn't have spoke it Tom Hanks what is the scene at the end of the movie he's at the place at the Arlington Cemetery and he says to his wife he's old now and he says tell me I was a good man he lived his entire life trying to earn all their deaths there are some things we need to hold so would you stand with me I really enjoy doing group prayer so I would just encourage you to pray with me if this doesn't pertain to you it's not going to stick on you okay there's a prayer team that can pray with you more specifically we're going to be leaving soon we have to a plane to catch but we'll be here for a little while in the back but the prayer team can will pray for you individually but what I want to do is I want to work just as a group and just maybe do some repentance for anytime we have spoken when we should have held and then asking God God I see it now didn't see it before and because I see it now I'm going to I'm going to have you increased that place in me where I can discern and I'll begin to obey and because I'll begin to obey you'll begin to release more treasures and more secrets so I'm just telling you what we're going to pray won't sound exactly like that but so you know I'm not tricking you okay so let's do this say father God I asked you to forgive me if in any way I ever spoke when I should have held in any way where I gave a treasure that exposed your kingdom I repent I asked you to increase my discernment so I will know if I'm being trapped or if the person is really ready to hear and as I learn to keep quiet the scenes that are brimming in me when I'm supposed to be quiet begin pouring out in me more of your mysteries I want you to know Papa that you can trust me yeah so I just yeah I want to pray right now Papa I just release over this group right now oh yeah greater discernment the Papa I know they've missed all the two years of sermons I get that just bring them up to now bring them up to how to discern how to not be critical just just just bring all that now and then release the ability to hold and to release when they're ready and I bless this congregation in Jesus name Amen
