and I cry I cry for hold [Music] we know that you are God in the heavens there's no doubt God that you are God of the heavens there is no doubt that you are god of the earth you are God of the earth and we know that you are here because you inhabit the praises of your people just right now say god inhabits my praise see that's not a statement of arrogance that's not a statement of Aryans there's nothing about you appraised that's all about the God and when he hears the praise he says I got to be there I have to go there see it would be easy for him to stay in heaven it would be easy but when he hears our praises he says no that is the place that I inhabit so when we say God is holy you are holy God you are holding it's not just the prayers of the Angels it's not just the prayers of the Saints it's the chemistry it's the coming together of earth and heaven because God says when I hear from my people on earth I have to go there too so father you are holding we cry holy you are holy holy holy holy and we declare your holiness because this place here on earth needs your holiness we don't just declare it for the sake of praise we declare for the sake of your presence amongst the whole earth we cry holy holy father bring holiness to your people bring holiness to this land bring holiness to our communities father bring holiness to our spirits as we praise and you inhabit the praises as you inhabit my praise restore holiness to me as much as I'm able we humbly cry holiness we humbly cry holiness because we need your presence there is nothing that heals like your presence there is nothing that brings peace like your presence there is nothing that solves all of life's presents like simply you coming to earth and restoring yourself as God holiness we cry holy we cried hole I would like to pray two more prayers one if you are a man amongst us today we pray for you blessings on your spirit blessings on your mind on this Father's Day we thank God for our many good fathers we thank God for the many great father examples that we have in this room we thank God that fatherhood is not just about just having children but it's about being the man that God has called us to be and for that we have many father figures here many father figures and we thank you Father for the spirit of fatherhood that you've example for us and so father I asked today our Father in Heaven bless our many fathers on earth bless them with a spirit of help bless them with a spirit of peace of a sound mind was strengthened with healing the father continued to show us the many ways that we are to be an example as fathers and our communities and in our churches and our families father where there are brokenness and our families between children and fathers I ask for restoration I asked for for children to come back to their fathers and forefathers to seek your children out and don't wait for us to come to you because the father example we have is the father who came to earth and so as fathers we go to our children we go to our children so father I asked for a restoration of fatherhood in our communities where we have fatherlessness throughout father I asked for men who want to be fathers who desire to be fathers who have a spirit of fatherhood that swells up inside them that can heal broken families that can heal broken communities we as fathers have that ability [Music] whether you have children or not and you're a man you can have a spirit of fatherhood and that means something to the world around you and for all those children in this world who were raised without a father who don't have the example of fatherhood father I ask as the father and haven't you touched them you heal their spirits he'll the you the ones fewer words see the perversion of it is that men become over assertive and we push strength and we aim and we come over top of the world around us but that is not the example of fatherhood that we have the example of fatherhood that we have is humility and servanthood making the world around us better so father I ask for a sense of security amongst men to know that the streak that we possess is not to dominate but to provide security for the world around us to provide a sense of stability for the world around us stability in our homes for our children for our families so father teach us what it means to be a loving father as you are a loving God amen turn to the person next to you and say happy Father's Day [Music] it may or may not apply but it's alright today is Father's Day and it should be happy so you can say to anyone happy Father's Day right because today is a good happy day are you blessed we pray your blessings we're gonna pray for more blessings here somebody helped us a fine example of a father back to his Cephas please acknowledge is our interest is and our exit okay during this time it's just a little bit of thing okay it might seem some people might think it's silly but you know what it offers security it offers a sense that word we're still doing things right so we ask that you acknowledge the rules that we have and the guidelines and all of that during this season it's a simple thing okay just a simple thing and so we ask that you do that but we want blessings over your know we excited this week as a fantastic week we just came out of the fantastic week we're going into another fantastic week Monday night prayer Friday night prayer Thursday night food-distribution saturday church in the park monday night men's meaning it still feels like that that we are active and alive and we're not just closing up shop and we don't believe that that we don't believe that God has closed up shop we don't believe that we should either and so we're gonna continue to pray we're gonna tell you to pray this pandemic thing the spikes that we've seen in the farm each county was pray right now hey you know what God this has got to stop so God just just you're you're rushing healing win come over Palm Beach County that this kovin nineteen thing we're tired of it it's over now all right this is not right we are not supposed to live with a spirit of virus this is not how you wanted us to live you wanted us to be healthy you want us to be happy you are God who comes to bring blessings to your people and this kovat thing I just don't think it's a blessing at all so father God just so your sweeping healing wind just blow over Palm Beach County these spikes that we're seeing we just asked for them to that's it done done done it's done all right and I hope I faith by me saying that's my faith I hope God hears that it's not by me saying it done that is actually done right it's done when when God says you know what I'm gonna heal this land again I'm gonna do it alright and we pray for their one more thing when God heals this land we pray for open eyes all right that people see the things that God has done and it makes them seek out God because of it right God gets the responsibility he also gets the glory so we're gonna pray to God that he does something in our land we need to be ready to worship and pray and point to him even all the harder amen that's not my sermon sorry pastor Benz I'm supposed to be going fast because you got more to say but it's good what we'd like to do right now is keep keep track all right stay on our Instagram Ashley does a fantastic job keeping things up to date our Facebook pages are Tai's mints our websites we have many things that we're planning because we believe that God is healing this land and we believe that we're gonna kid back in the fall we're gonna kick things right back up to gear we actually have some things even in July that we're gonna try alright but continue to pray continue to pray that all of this ends and we can come back and to our aggressively full schedule of seeking after God right without hindrances and that's what we pray for but what we want to do right now is give you a time for tithes and offerings if you've been preparing a gift that you might like to give we're gonna have another worship song and you'll be able to come up and drop your gifts in the baskets as you like to and I'd like to just pray blessing over you is that okay we played a bless God we pray for God but also this time father God I ask that you see your people well you know that the jobs that around the corner you know clients you know where our employment rest you know where our finances come from and where we might seek our employer as our source of revenue we know that you are the God that provides and so we don't place our faith or our hope on any institution at all we place all of our faith all of our hope in you we trust you and we know that you are a good god we know that our trusts will not be returned broken and so father God I ask under that spirit of trust that you bless your people that's good just put your hand on your heart and say father bless me now it's okay to pray that it's not arrogant God wants to God wants to if my children came to me and said father bless me I would be so happy to do so and if I as a father on earth feel that way oh I can only imagine how our Father in heaven feels when we pray god bless me bless us father if you have a gift you can bring it now otherwise you could stand and just worship with us as we continue on [Music] I remember the moment you say my soul test Fred and broken and you may be ho well what once was an orphan you brought me I remember the moment when you say my soul you been nothing but good nothing but good to me you've been nothing but kind that my content was bad my eloquence was lacking you know I can be very loquacious but I want to say to you today he's here I have been apprehended by God today so I want to say to you and I'm gonna I'm going to talk just a little while but the Christian life is not about being right it's about being christ-like next Sunday morning Charles Karen one of the most godly man one of the he doesn't like this but for for many many years for many many years I've watched him even when we were over on Riverside if you remember anything about that Charles came over he spoke there and so our lives have been intertwined for quite some time and he'll be speaking in Sunday morning all right and so if you're on live stream still there will be an anointing that will go through these airwaves right where you are into your living room and to your if you're eating breakfast you may not forget to finish your breakfast because we're feasting on Charles this ministry that at 10:00 a.m. service next Sunday morning I've got several things here may I just may I just do this Ernestine are you here today you failed to get that book you I watched you walk out of church two weeks ago just like it doesn't matter and you wanted the book and I told you I'd give you the book and you didn't the stick around for so I've got one for you now this is the one you wanted this one says a practical guide to self deliverance simple keys to receiving freedom and I say the Spirit of the Lord rises up within you and anoint you and that in these days that seemed to be so perilous in tenuous nope these are the days of the Holy Spirit these are the days like pastor Robert was talking about is singing about that we remember how he parted the Seas to make a way for us how he gave us fire by night so we be able to see and he gave us a cloud by day so that we could follow after his glory and he's doing that and I want to say to you today and I I just I'll just say it and I'll say it at the end but there is a flood of glory and grace how that manifests I'm not quite sure but there's a flood of glory and grace that he's releasing upon you and all of your concerns [Applause] her father is a preacher so I think that's where she gets part of that I have well I have one more book here that's called the practical guide to self deliverance I don't know how to say let me how should they do this now okay Kathy because God is the giver of good gifts and these are provided prophetic symbols prophetic signs that God is giving good gifts to his children today in this room and by live string I've got two more I gave these away a couple of weeks ago to us has asked for the rain with contributions from modern voices of revival like Bill Johnson dr. Michael Brown who was with the Brownsville revival back in 1995 when it started I'll talk a little more about that James doll James gall was such not only is he is he great in the prophetic but James go is a gentleman he is so impressive Tommy tinny who's been to this church 1415 times you know him John Kilpatrick who was the pastor of Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola when the revival broke out and Don nor I who has since gone on to be with the Lord but he is he he's the the founder of destiny image so this book is and this one was by Larry sparks too so I just went just compiled by literary sparks Larry will be with us in June or in July the 17th on our Friday night you can mark that down too and like pastor Eric said we were just moving forward all right all right okay will you read this book this week you won't let it collect dust but you read your Bible first oh I have one more Donna would you like one too and now I have one that's by General William G boinkin those men who went to the west coast a few months ago we got to hear him personally and so I brought this book back it doesn't look like it's new but it isn't new but it's a little dull would that bother anyone I'm gonna give this to I should say to the men with the most children but men with the least children you know in old school and an old church on mother's day we would give we would recognize the oldest mother youngest mother mother with the most children and it was so bad all right man to man I need Mike I think you need this today because you need a sign this is a sign I'm not coming back there I've answered prayer all right the name of Jesus well the only other book I've got with me is my Bible but I'm not giving it away so I say happy Father's Day let me ask you a question and you can respond when you think of a good father give me one word that describes a good father acceptance love understanding knows Jesus gratitude I missed that one peace compassionate you mean men are compassionate yes mean full of grace and know how to operate in that grace any more over here faithful over here honest or does it Nicholas patient you know how you get patients you through circulation so I want to say God worked patients in me another way I am but there is a grace that produces that kind of patience and and I say let's operate in it alright we're talking about our fathers today we think too we think about our fathers as true with traits such as generous and thoughtful and agreeable is this man slow to impose and quick to listen and ready to sympathize this he speak gently and serve graciously does he routinely defer to others preferences and godly men will indeed emanate compassion and humility service and love as God in the background saying this is right I hear that do you hear that there's always a reason for things to happen but this is true these are what men do and are just what they are like but is this the whole truth has the ideal of manhood in the modern church become just a gentle shadow of what God made it to be so man I want to talk to you for a minute when we teach about masculinity do qualities like strength the initiative zeal and courage make our list I have a confession to make I've been on edge the last several weeks and months I said to God this Isaiah 6 pastor of our new door that we sang a while ago when God said who will go for me I said to him again I'll go for you and it's best I know how I am I asked Holy Spirit's at Holy Spirit how do you want me to be responsible in this current age seasoned era that we have entered into with the the civil unrest and unrighteousness and brutality and things of this sort with like Eric said with the pandemic and all that we're going through you have to be careful to keep yourself in tune with God not in tune with all of Facebook not in tune with Instagram not in tune with with the TV news stations but in tune with God and so I asked him and I realize I've been put on edge and then I realized - what has happened to me I've got a fighting spirit on the inside of me in my masculinity and you may say you too little to have much don't test it don't test it you may be big but no fear and so I ask God and and what happened I have I have I've been on edge what can I say to you in my spirit because it wouldn't be responsible to you and all of you on livestream and to my community of faith here in the Palm Beaches and Beyond the community of faith and I've participated in some meetings I went to the courthouse a couple of weeks ago I think I told you about that we prayed right there and with other clergy I've been meeting with clergy and talking and dialoguing just not with white people what would black people - and I've been asking them how do you see this because I need to be better informed all of us need to be better informed if you know it all please go to heaven now and see what God says and so but but you know I've also been today I've been overcome by Holy Spirit I've just thoroughly in saturated in this worship it was chicken soup to my soul and but I was and and then when he said when pastor was leading us and he said who will go for me I don't know about you but I say I'll go oh that's a dangerous thing that's why God has placed within masculinity a courage and yes a fight it's not for abuse it's not for being a bully not at all it is for being aggressive and I'll read the scripture in just a few minutes but it's about being aggressive in the spirit world to bring his kingdom of God to this earth and the righteousness of God to be released among all of us and men we have a responsibility about that I pray that none of us as men are passive that passivity has nothing to do with us and I just don't back up and say because I've got a strong-willed wife she can make their decisions oh I do and I know when to say make their decisions because when her giftedness is better than mine she ought to be making those decisions and because I'm secure my masculinity and my call from God I can do that that's not a weakness so I want to say to us guys wouldn't we teach about masculinity today I would just want to mention a few things about strength initiative zeal and courage when we assess men for godly office in the Lord's Church when we look for small group leaders and godly mentors new we commend men who would make good Shepherds industrious today is Father's Day [Laughter] do we commend men that I'm talking about men not men and women men to be industrious to be passionate to be resilient to be able to corral sheep and then willing to combat wolves so when a wolf comes against my family I've said this for many many years about my family you better not touch them that's good preaching they're my family and you know a mama bear can be very ferocious but I'm telling you we in this family of God I say to the enemy you better not touch this family you better not get your hands off get your hands off about finances get your hands off of where there's wood there's discord and and where there's chaos I say get your hands off of it it will not prosper in us it will not prosper in our homes that it will not prosper in our workplace so I say today today I want to celebrate courage and zeal an initiative because we know these are required in order to guard protect subdue and lead such men of God who are gentle exactly because they are first strong a tiger not a kitten can exhibit gentleness because he is first strong Edie you're a tiger that means you can be gentle also because you're strong in the Lord Craig you're strong in the Lord qualities of men of virtue I just made a list here leading it with integrity fight for what matters most fight for the noble things and eternal things you see I listen to you and you listen to me - I have a oh I didn't tell you what I had to repent of I'm coming back now and I throw this in here so you know I'm talking about a fighting spirit and I did it wrong it must have been 1:30 in the morning I was sound asleep and Judy woke me up in a panic I came out of that deep sleep I started slapping the bed in her leg and then I when I got up in the morning I said did you did I she says yes well strengthen the control I say that though because when you're on edge when things aren't going like we want them to go and we have very little physical control about that such as today in our society in the United States in the Palm Beaches be sure men that you are grounded in the word you can have you can be on edge I don't say don't be on edge I want you to be on edge but I wanted to be a positive edge whereby it's against it's against the enemy the principality's it's not against flesh and blood so I had to repent to her I well I really just said I just hugged her and said I'm sorry and the gracious woman she is she beat me up now I'm really in trouble here it is fight for what matters most men fight for the noble things and eternal things and please don't fight for those things that you can't win right now be a lover and a friend like King David a man after God's own heart and that's a whole sermon in and of itself pursue character shaping and friendships I want you to be in dialogue not only with people like you but with people who are unlike you be open to hear what they have to say and don't fight with them if they say something you don't like I've told you this we're called Moore Kingdom people pursue character shaping friendships love big work hard forgive gladly repent quickly speak humbly play enthusiastically I think abundantly and the last one I put in here was and never stop dancing now I'm like a lot of you men if I dance it's ugly so I have to do it in private before God well not necessarily so I want to say man I'm gonna read Philippians or Ephesians chapter 6 beginning with verse 10 basically without comment this is the passage that talks about the armor of I want to say to you men change your mindset because many times men women alike say every morning I put on my armor why did you take it off because at night time it's when I'm the most vulnerable it's when I'm the most susceptible this is your your armor your spiritual armor finally be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes one version says the wiles of the devil all therefore no verse 12 for our struggle is not against flesh and blood not against each other but against the rulers against the princes or the authorities against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms don't lose sight of that because so many times because of our masculinity we want to fight a person now our war is against that wishes in the heavenlies and I say to you men we have far more authority than what we are exercising verse 14 verse 13 therefore put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything to stand stand firm then with the belt of truth buckled around your waist let me say that and just emphasize this for a moment the belt of truth around your waist men will keep you from temptation and an especially sick sexual temptation because that belt around your waist is is so intended to guard the issues of life because that's where the issues of life proceed and that's where sometimes we become the most vulnerable and can be sexually tempted that way put on what I say it is verse number number 14 stand firm with the belt of truth buckled around your waist with the breastplate of righteousness in place righteousness is a whole that's a whole sermon in itself and he says and with your feet fitted for the readiness that comes from the gospel if he's always ready to share your faith we are equipped for that verse 16 in addition to all this take up the shield of faith which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one the the shield of faith they're talking about there many times when they would get ready to go into battle there was leather on that shield and they would wet that leather down they would soak it so that when the fiery darts the arrows that would literally come that were fiery arrows if it hit that shield right there in those in those places that have been anointed and soaked that's a good lesson there it extinguishes the fiery darts take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God make sure the word of god and verse number 18 which talks about praying in the spirit make sure those two are our disciplines of your life and you honor those so with this in my or verse 18 and pray in the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests with this in mind be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints so pray for each other pray for people who may not yet be Saints and let me say to your fathers especially those of you with younger children or even older children right now that your most important disciples are your family members so I look around and I look we have two sons and I watched them closely and I lift them up to God in prayer and I say to God Holy Spirit because I don't get this so I guess that's part of why I had almost a Holy Spirit come to them and their dreams reveal Jesus to them in a much greater way men your children are your greatest disciples and you may say it's not working I'm saying don't give up yet be a man of righteousness and justice be a man of signs and wonders be a a man of goodness and mercy and and yesterday afternoon I beloved Rosa Taylor who died on March 14th we finally had a service for four friends close friends and family we headed here and I got to talk about how that everywhere Rosa when goodness and mercy was always evident because if you ever asked her how she is what would she say I said Rosa how are you I'm blessed highly favored no matter what she was going through righteousness it's good and responsible citizenship you need to write that one down righteousness is good and responsible citizenship proverbs 11 verse 4 but righteousness delivers from death feel like you're in a big big struggle that righteousness and the righteousness of God that's imputed to us through Jesus Christ come forth my delay proverbs 11 and 10 when it goes well was righteousness the city rejoices how are we living in righteousness and exhibiting that so that our city the Palm Beaches will rejoice proverbs 11:11 by the blessing of the upright the city is exalted so you want to pray for social justice you want to pretty and well you should but one of the greatest weapons we as men and women is live right and that itself appeals to God Almighty to come in and be with us in around us and cause this city to be exalted Jeremiah 29 and 7 and seek the peace of the city of where I have caused you to be carried away captive you see this was a about 600 BC right in that time frame when the children of Israel were carried off into Babylonian captivity you may know the story or not but he said to those who were carrying away into captivity he said about and this was about Babylon seek the peace of Babylon seek the peace of the Palm Beaches where I've caused you to be carried away captive I'm captive here people tried to get rid of me they wanted to send me on my way and we've been here now 39 years and pray to the Lord for this city for in his peace you will have peace we get that turned around sometime give me peace God nope bless the Palm Beaches bless all the peoples in the Palm Beaches and God says then you have peace we when your environment when North Palm Beach is blessed Tony you're blessed also I'm ready to justice how long have I been going 15 minutes at least it was I I won't tell you this to give you encouragement and then I'm done in 1995 on Father's Day up in Pensacola Florida Steve Hill was fishing that Sunday morning at the Brownsville Assembly of God and towards the end of his sermon the Holy Spirit came in mighty ways and the revival that we call in the Brownsville revival was full-fledged going ahead and yet lasted for many many years in 1994 up in Toronto there was an outbreak of holy spirit - and that one still we're seeing the effects of it in in 1997 on Father's Day this his father stays a nun now that was June 15th in 1997 Holy Spirit came in to cover that on a Sunday morning and changed us changed our culture changed all of us I had I had seen Holy Spirit move occasionally deeply but he came and he kept on coming that's the Holy Spirit life since this morning that he's here the reason I say that because it was on Father's Day 1997 and you know what we did from about 1996 and 97 we were involved in what I call identification all repentance we were into racial reconciliation we were into repenting but I didn't know it at the time but those were the things that God said if you'll search your heart and cleanse your heart and you'll repent of your sins and you'll and you'll seek me with all your heart and Holy Spirit came in on that Sunday morning and I've never been since and most of you say thank you repentance and forgiveness write this one down to repentance and forgiveness produces fruitfulness if you wonder perhaps what's wrong with my life that I'm not prospering the way I think I ought to well it's time to repent some more we always came to the point when we didn't know what to do to follow God and we really wanted to we would repent you say what do you repent for he'll show you and so today I say men for you holy spirit search our hearts see if there be any wicked way in me reveal it to me and I give it to you change me do not let me be the same as when I walked into this building this morning I said Holy Spirit do your work in us and do it in the men of this congregation and I say Holy Spirit let your fire fall on us but I also say that the fire of repentance and salvation rise up within us let it be like Jesus in John chapter 7 when he said from out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters the signifying the Holy Spirit so that's what I say today repentance and forgiveness produces fruitfulness covenant I've told you this I told you this before the pandemic became as big a deal as it is now but I said covenant we are coming into floods of favor floods of healing floods of wisdom floods of goodness it may not seem logical it may not seem relevant but God is above our logic and God is above our relevance and here I want to say to you today because you honor God he will do in a fraction of the time what should have taken you a lifetime to accomplish Jesus is for you and not against you I've told you this for years I'll say it again today your matter to God and you matter to me hmm breathe on us Holy Spirit hover over us and do your creative work through us give us wisdom and revelation make the people of covenant a great people for you create within us a great hope dispel disappointment and fear bring new life invigorate us with a renewed resolve thank you Jesus amen all right I'm not going I usually call them in up and anoint them I'm gonna do like I've seen other preachers do before they just kind of received the Holy Spirit received the Holy Spirit receive receive the Holy Spirit receive the Holy Spirit receive the Holy Spirit receive the Holy Spirit yeah yes yes Lord now live like you're full of the Holy Spirit don't back off of it live by the way are your sins forgiven all the sin is forgiven today washes and cleanse us and make us whole pastor Robert if you lead us in worship I'll stop I Love You Lord mercy never fails me all my days I've been held in your hands from the moment that awake until I lay my head I will see oh the goodness of God all my life you have been faithful [Music] all my life you have been so so good with every breath that I am able I will see but the goodness of God I love your voice you led me through the fire in darkest nights you were close like overturn unknown you as a father I've known you as a friend and I have lived and the goodness of God all my life you have been faithful all my life you have been so so good with every breath that I am before I will sing of the goodness of God your goodness is running after it's running to me your goodness is running after it's running to me with my live lay down I'm surrendered now I gave you everything your goodness is running I'm it's running after me
