was praying tonight i'm really excited about what we're going to talk about tonight i i really feel like you should be getting ready so so if if you're alone in your home um if then i just want you to let's just do this because it's kind of fun i just want you to say to yourself get ready and say holy spirit i receive what you have for me tonight anything that donna teaches that's not from you let it fall to the ground but whatever is from god i take it in the soil of my heart and my mind my spirit in jesus name okay okay i'm real real real excited because i was asked to teach on something and i just didn't quite feel like it was what i needed to give you guys and so i said well i think i'm going to teach on something else and so let's let's see how this works but um i i want to teach on positional and relational authority okay and there is a difference and hopefully if i have time i'll get to the relational if not i'll just do with the positional but part of what i'm going to teach on comes from my book warning with wisdom i have five books out now praise be to god my oldest son is paying back his college tuition by helping me write all my books but one of the things that i've realized is and the warning with wisdom is a lot of times we don't seem to be winning the war because we aren't warring from the right position okay so i want to look today about what is our position how should we be warned and to do that i need to give you a lot of scripture a lot of um snapshots and then we'll look at what does that mean for us and because i just can't help myself we will do prophetic acts um we will pray you will do the repeat after me prayers um because it's so important that we understand this stuff that there may be um well let me just start here how many of you feel like your prayers have not been real effective in this season you know how many of you feel like you know um i know that god's listening i know that he answers prayers but i really feel like it's possible he's just not listening tonight now we don't have to say no only me okay well i still think it's the right sermon here we go so this has been a crazy season has it not this last year it's been um it's been like i i find myself as grounded as i am in the word as grounded as i am in the spirit i have found myself actually to be honest completely honest i have found myself going to and fro like like i'm solid with the lord and everything's going to be fine too oh no everything's gonna not be fine and i'm not gonna be able to pay my bills and then i'm back oh no no but god's the provider and then i'm like oh no but this is happening and so maybe i'm the only one but i really feel like there's many times where in this season and because it lasted so long it's like i got tired of standing when i've done all to stand anybody else been tired of standing because you're just like i don't i'm staying i'm standing here but i don't know what else to do because everything is crazy around me and the the talk that i was going to preach on was shifting atmospheres and so for those of you who know me not only am i got my sozo shirt on bethel but not only do i do that but i also teach on shifting atmospheres which is like radio stations that are talking to us and boy in 2020 we had some radio stations that had been talking to us right um i did have a battle with coven and i will tell you this i think covet is a virus and i think there's a demon that's attached to the virus and i fought off the demon okay and the first time this thing came at me i fought off the demon and my body actually responded with complete healing the second time it came around through my husband i didn't have the demonic fight that i felt and i actually believe i didn't test but he got coveted and so i just assumed oh this must be coveted but it was very gentle and not a problem just really tired and i thought okay this is what it is to be just a virus okay but the moment you step into oh no i've got it that's the demon okay and so part of understanding the war is understanding where do i war from where's my authority and so as believers i believe you have a positional and a relational authority okay so let's look at this so i'm going to lay down the basics first a lot of you have heard and maybe you haven't so you can look up the scriptures i'll read through them as well but look them up yourself ask the lord about it but a lot of you have heard about first second and third heaven okay so just letting you know where preachers talk about this some of it comes from second corinthians when paul says i know a man in christ who 14 years ago whether in the body i don't know or out of the body i don't know only god knows such man was caught up into the third heaven okay so then we're thinking oh if there's a third heaven is there a first and a second you know what what other heavens are there well what's interesting about this is paul is like i don't know if this guy was here on earth and he just thought he was in heaven or if he actually was snatched away in heaven he's like basically i don't care but the point is there's a third heaven okay so that would be god's realm third heaven and then what's kind of fun i'm going to pause on this because normally i go to daniel next but there's an interesting verse in hebrews in hebrews 2 7-9 says you have made him christ a little while lower than the angels you have crowned him with glory and honor and you have appointed him over the works of your hands and you have put all things under his feet so you'll understand this verse as i go a little further that when christ was brought here to earth he was made a little lower than the angels okay for a time and then back we go okay so he stood he stepped out of his rightful place in third heaven and came here to earth okay then let's look here all right i'm trying to go where i'm at i'm all over the place hmm i you know what i have my stuff out of order so here we go let's go to daniel all right in daniel 10 10-14 now this is important for all of you intercessors to understand this behold a hand touched me this is daniel talking and sent me trembling on my hands and knees and he said to me oh daniel man of high esteem understand that what i'm about to tell you and stand upright for i have been sent to you and when he had spoken this word to me i stood up trembling and he said to me do not be afraid daniel for from the first day you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before the lord where here on earth he's here on earth okay your words were heard where were they heard they were heard by god in the third heaven right and i have come in response to your word so this angel came from third from first heaven here but the prince of the kingdom of persia was withstanding me for 21 days huh so something happened between being dispatched from god and making it to daniel here in the physical realm we call that second heaven that this is the place where the angels and the demonic do battle okay and he says but the prince of the kingdom of persia was stood me for 21 days and then behold michael one of the chief priests came to help me for i had been left there with the king of persia and now they have come to you right down here to the physical realm to give you an understanding of what will happen to your people in the latter days so this is a great example of all three of the realms when we pray we pray here and what happens god hears instantly he hears and instantly he dispatches the answers and sometimes we're like where is he not paying attention because sometimes the answer can get caught in the second heaven realm where the fighting is happening the enemy comes to kill steal and destroy he's trying to steal your answer from god right and so we sometimes um give up sometimes we think oh he's not listening and and when that happens we actually are disempowering the angelic realm that's doing battle for us i remember this year this last year i was praying and i heard the lord as clear as day say i want you to release higher ranking angels and i'm like okay now i don't worship angels i don't really understand angels i just heard what father god said so i said okay lord and i just started praying i released angels okay blah blah now i know enough in them that he's saying i've got all these angels up here how about we release some how about you partner with me so i release the angels okay so they're in out here higher ranking angels all right there we go and then about a week later i was uh i just i was down to sleep and i woke up and i found myself i was speaking in tongues and so i'm like and as i was speaking waking up i saw my words being thrown up into second heaven and i saw the angels grabbing them as knives and weapons against the enemy and i thought isn't that interesting it's our partnership with the angelic realm it's like god releases the angels and or he even asks us why would you partner with me let's get these things released and then it's our job to give them i feel like the fuel and i thought hmm i wonder actually as my brain works i wonder how many of my words have actually helped to the enemies you know how much and my weapons have gone into the enemy's hands because they've not been kind and encouraging words and they've not been good words so many times i'll say lord you know any time any words that i've spoken that were not from your heart i ask you to nullify them in jesus name because i'm like you know those because they they stay up in the atmosphere they continue you know like when when paul preaches and prays over us and he says beloved i in all respects you're prospering being good health even as your soul prospers that is hanging in the atmosphere right well think of all the good things you've prayed it hangs in the atmosphere and think of the bad things we've prayed so many times i'm like god would you bring those down just just stop them right now and then we'll move on to the good things so maybe right now i don't know why the lord's bringing that up so maybe we should look at this and just say take a moment just say father god i've given the enemy weapons to use against your angels i repent and i ask you lord to nullify those words so that only what is from you remains yeah okay here we go so if i'm looking at this thing with daniel i'm thinking okay that's the clearest to me about the the three heavens we're here we're in the physical realm you can call it first heaven i would just call it the earthly realm physical realm second heaven is where the angelic realm is third heaven is where god is it makes total sense when it says that you made him jesus for a time a little lower than the angels okay are you with me all right so there we are so knowing that we have some information in order to take care of this all right ephesians 6 12 tells us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers principalities authorities spiritual forces of wickedness where in the heavenly realms okay so if you have someone in your room with you turn to that person and say this say guess what you are not my enemy that is really important because what happens is so many times we actually are fighting each other right but we're not to war against each other we actually are to war against what the spiritual realm right and many times i'll be grumbling about something or steve will be grumbling about something and the lord will say you're gonna win or lose this in the spirit realm and i'm like whoop you're right my grumbling is not going to take care of this i'm going to have to take care of this in the spirit realm okay so what happens is so i'm going to pause again i have like 12 sermons in one so here we go pause i'm going to go to sozo mode for a minute so the number one tactic of the enemy is fear let's just put it out there fear okay the number one way he brings fear is lies the lies you believe create mindsets that open pathways in your brain for fear and the more you think about those and dwell on it the bigger the highway gets right and so if you're going to get rid of the plans of the enemy you're going to have to close that those mindsets and so you're going to have to start dwelling on whatever's pure whatever is holy whatever is right think on those things because it opens a pathway to that wave so the problem is is that when we don't understand that there's a spirit realm we begin to fight against each other okay now you're not going to win when you're fighting each other because that's not where the influence is coming from you will know that you are fighting from this realm because it feels heavy why because you're under the weight of the spiritual realm so if you're like oh i'm depressed oh i'm exhausted oh it'll never happen i'm hopeless you are not seated where you're supposed to be seated okay let's think about this for a minute we learn that we fight not against flesh and blood right and as we if we just were to read ephesians 6 12 by itself it could be scary let me just tell you you know you're not fighting against that person sitting next to you but you're actually fighting against powers and principalities and authorities and you're like oh my god what in the heck am i fighting i mean it's like sometimes it's so much easier to go actually i'm just fighting you because i can see you right okay but the problem with that is if we don't understand that we're fighting that and we only look at that one verse we don't look at the rest of the verses and what's another verse which i think is great it's ephesians 1 18 through 22 i mean it's a long one because we'll get to it having the eyes of your heart enlightened that you may know what is the hope of his calling the riches the glory of his inheritance in the saints and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us who believe according to the working of the strength of his might which he rocked in christ when he raised him from the dead okay he's here raised him from the dead and made him sit at his right hand where in the heavenly places now listen to this far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named not only in this world but in the world to come and put all things in subjection under his feet and gave him to the head over the church so if we just look at ephesians 6 12 we're like oh my gosh i'm fighting all this stuff but when we realized ephesians 1 actually i think it's fun that god put that in the scripture first before six he says but wait a minute wait a minute don't panic because christ is seated above the very things that you're going to war against right and then if we keep reading ephesians ephesians 2 6 when we accept christ what happens god raises us up with christ and seats us with him in the heavenly realms above the power of principalities so my positional authority is in third heaven my position authority it's your positional authority it's in third heaven the problem is is that the enemy will do whatever he can to trick you to come out of third heaven to battle him where you don't have authority did she just say that god gave us all authority he did and he wants you to stay in the heavenly realm with your authority okay so so many people are like yeah but i can do whatever i want because i'm like ooh sozo we'll take care of that because we'll break off all the stuff the doors you just opened because of your arrogance now jesus said i only do what i see my father doing okay so the enemy's gonna lie to us he's gonna tell us my husband is the problem my roommates are the problem my boss is the problem and what's he doing he's bringing you down from your positional authority to fight in this first realm it's you don't have authority in the first realm and you will know you're there because it's heavy it's exhausting and why because the weight of the second heaven is on you is this making sense yeah how many of you are like oh man i can tell where i've been worrying from okay well let's think about this when you are seated with christ in the third heaven where is satan he's beneath you in the second heaven he's where under your feet and the god of peace will soon crush satan under your feet you have to stay in that third heaven place where you're seated with christ hearing the lord asking him what to pray what do we need to do because that's the only place where the enemy is under your feet okay pastor benny has said sometimes because i'm like sometimes i'm like i'm praying i'm praying here and i don't feel like anything's happening and she'll say donna if you want to see your prayers answered find out what god is saying and pray that and i'm like oh i thought you know he just kind of did whatever i asked no i don't really believe that but we we as christians believe that right we're like oh i'm just going to pray and he's going to snap his finger and he's going to make it all happen but wait a minute jesus only did what he saw his father doing let's find out what papa's doing and pray that when we know what he's doing it means we're up here in the heavenly realms right okay so when we move out of fighting this way okay when we're fighting people and um i usually talk about when i talk about shifting atmospheres you know there's two camps there's the camp of everything is a demon everything is hard warfare has to be really loud because demons must be deaf right okay and so we are shouting and we're screaming and we're doing all this stuff okay you can do that but you need to be careful when you're doing that that you're not fighting from a a battle that is actually in the second heaven see i see a lot of times like when we're fighting in the second heaven we're feeling more authority like i feel kind of more authority when i get louder and i start telling the enemy where he can go but i think of it like this it's like i'm in a boxing ring and i'm like bam and then i'm like oh oh my gosh what just happened why because you stepped into his ring right and what happens when we're over here battling and fighting in this realm we begin to be cantankerous we begin to or maybe you even feel like you're like i know what's going on over here so there's a superiority you know when when you're focused on well let's pause a minute say this you become like the one you behold and so if i'm over here fighting the enemy and everything's about the demons i'm going to start taking on the characteristics of the demonic realm arrogance bullying i'm going to start getting louder i'm going to start having some of that come off i'm going to maybe jealousy maybe envy those things are going to happen when i'm fighting in this realm because i'm in the boxing ring and i'm not meant to be in the boxing ring my authority is not in the boxing ring is this making sense okay but when i teach also i teach well then the other side of this is oh there's no demons oh there's something you're like kind of like an ostrich my brain thinks in pictures like your ostrich and your head's in the sand and the ostrich's butt is up here right and it's getting shot with all of these arrows and it's like oh what just shot me in the butt because and then you start looking around like you did and you did and you did so when you're over here and you're ignoring that there's a spirit realm you are fighting man to man but you're not gonna win the battle man to man because you actually have to dismantle the second heaven broadcast that people are responding to okay so that's why your spouse is not your enemy that's why your friend is not your enemy you might someone with a different lifestyle than you they're not your enemies if you're a democrat a republican is not your enemy if you're republican a democrat is not your enemy you have to get above the spiritual realm and find out god what are you saying what do you want over our nation and you pray from there okay all right so we're going to do something here i want you to close your eyes and i want you to think about where you've been warring from and we're going to ask the holy spirit we're going to say out loud holy spirit have i been fighting people instead of spiritual realm issues okay if that's you i'd have you stand up and why it's because we're gonna do a prophetic act and the your chair that you just got up from is going to signify the third heaven chair seated with christ okay all right so we're going to do this we're going to say out loud i ask you god to forgive me for taking the bait of the enemy for blaming people rather than the spirit the spirits yeah i ask you to brush me off of the weight i've been under whoa cool a lot of shaking feel that just feel that being brushed off of you say i reject depression i reject anger i reject frustration and jealousy fatigue and i speak to my body and say i'm so sorry that i've been battling from the earthly realm and then do this put your hands up in the air and say papa pick me up up daddy schwarz and put me back in your realm in third heaven where i have positional authority and then have a seat from that place now a lot of you just felt completely like wow that is a shift this is your place of authority and this is where you look down now with the enemy you're like oh you're the one causing me all these problems look at that yeah this is our place of peace this is our place of power right you're not at peace underneath okay you're not at peace fighting you're at peace when you're with him in the heavenly third heaven revelation and you're like okay i see from god's perspective and because of that i can actually pray from a place of peace that surpasses understanding all right are you with me all right one more prayer say holy spirit have i stepped into the boxing ring have i been battling the enemy with strength and might and not my spirit if you heard yes stand up we're gonna do another prophetic act and a lot of us are here a lot of us move up and down between the different levels but a lot of us are like we think when we get up and we go from under that out and then we feel that off of us and we start feeling powerful this way we actually think we've arrived but it's still not your place of power and authority okay so let's do this so here put on your boxing gloves you got your boxing gloves on getting ready and we're gonna do this we're gonna take off our gloves and we're gonna hand them to jesus and say jesus i repent i have been tricked by the enemy to step into his ring whoa sure and i have allowed myself to engage in second heaven battle so as i hand you my boxing gloves and put your hands up say up daddy would you pick me up whoa and would you seat me with your son jesus in the heavenly realms and then have a seat jesus is this making sense you should some of you can feel it some of you can't feel it and it's okay we all receive differently so that's not a problem um but just let know that you are being removed repositioned to your place of authority this is positional authority this is where peace reigns why because beneath you all hell literally can be breaking loose but you're seated in christ where you belong and you have the ability to see through his lenses and he's like yeah okay i see that too you know so many times i think about you know when when i am surprised about something that comes my way i remind myself that jesus saw it coming i'm like you know what jesus i didn't see this one coming but you did and because you saw it coming you have the way of escape i don't know how but okay up daddy pick me up right and where i get that pick me up is you know if you've ever had little kids around when they're 18 months to about three or four years old they're like oh yeah you pick me up and they come and they put their arms up and i think about when we raise our hands to the lord in worship we're not just saying we love you and it's awesome but we're also saying pick me up pick me up daddy right put me back on your lap where i belong okay but the enemy's gonna work hard because his number one tactic is fear and his number one way to do that is through lies so the enemy is going to say you can't sit with christ in the heavenlies you are disqualified he's going to say things like no no that's not possible because you know you had sin in your life at some point of your life and i'm like well who didn't right and he's going to say well you know you had that bad thought about someone the other day what does scripture say that if we sin we have an advocate before the father the lord jesus christ right and so it's like okay so i want to make sure that i am in right standing and then it's like i it's like up he's like he'll pick you up and i'll tell this story might be a little i hope it doesn't take us over here but i look like i i'm going so fast we have some time i was um preaching in australia about a sermon that i love to teach and it's called stepping through the door of jesus and it's it's kind of coined a phrase from my husband where a lot of us get saved and we stop at the door of jesus and we don't move on to the father we don't move on to the holy spirit and we were all done and it was about ready to get on a plane so we had to hurry and get out but this this beautiful gal comes up to me and she says um you know i she's she's crying and she says i i see father god when i close my eyes but i can't get to him i'm like okay well let's check it out and i said well well how come and she says well because i'm a lesbian she says in my sin keeps me from father god and i'm like okay now i'm gonna freak some of you out here but i do believe that our sin separates us from god i do but i don't think our sin separates him from us because when we sin we we put the leaves on and we start hiding and we start going like this right so we start moving away from god but god doesn't ever move away from us right and so she's like i'm like okay no big deal and the other issue in sozo we know that um identity is a daddy issue so i'm like okay well if i can get her to father god we can solve this lifestyle issue because she just needs to know what daddy thinks right so i said okay close your eyes and again i have like five minutes i have to rush out and i'm like okay close your eyes and she's like closer i said can you see him she goes i told you i can see him he's way over there and i can't get to him and i'm like not a problem we can figure this out and i saw in my mind i saw father god reach out along arms and pick her up and put her on his lap and i'm like oh this is so cool so i said i didn't want to make her see what i see i don't want to influence that so i said okay well ask him this father god can i come crawl up on your lap and she said he said no and i'm like oh no that's the wrong answer you know i'm thinking to myself but the wording for her crawl up on your lap is can i grovel can i crawl up and she said he said no he just picked me up and put me on his lap and i'm thinking to myself okay okay here it is i'm just going to ask right now because her lie was god made her gay she had told me that quickly so i said i'm gonna ask this question you know and we can take care of this issue right here god did you make me gay and i heard father god say hold hold don't ever ask that question and i'm like uh okay all right and i just said i heard myself say father god have a repeat for me what do you think of me and he tells her you're beautiful you're lovely he just and she's just sobbing and sobbing right and then i'm thinking okay i've got two more minutes get on the plane this is when we're gonna ask god did you make me gay and and he stops me again and i'm like what you know my god don't you know how this works don't you know that you are the one that is and he's like hold hold i'm like okay i don't remember the second thing but the third one i'm like okay i got a minute to go i get on and she's on his lap okay god let's take care of this and god said donna don't you think she and i can sort this out while she's on my lap okay all right lord so all right where is that third heaven while she's sitting here don't you think we can take care of this we don't need you donna to battle here for her we need her here so i left her with this father god can i come back to your lap whenever i want and she heard yes so the enemy's going to try and disqualify you why because if he can trick you to not be seated with christ in the heavenlies you will fight in a battle you have no authority over all right did we get that one set all right did i blow your minds okay pastor can clean it all up i love being a traveling minister because you know you can walk away and the pastor can clean it up and it also gives the pastor a bye if the pastor's like yeah i kind of believe that but i really don't and i get to be brave and they get to like you know take care of it so here we go we're in third heaven so we're okay now here's another one that might absolutely you might have to clean up but we don't just have a positional authority but you have a relational authority as well and the relational authority comes through spending time with god knowing his heart and walking it out in this world it comes from building a history with god you know i believe in anointings i believe in laying hands on you a matter of fact i'm glad i just released any anointing that they need that you've given me that yeah they can have it i can impart that to you but i cannot impart to you my history and who i am and the anointing i carry comes from my history and you know you might think oh you've never had anything bad happen to you and okay whatever you want to believe that's fine and some people have horrible lives and some people have what seems to be way easier life but we all have to build a history with god it comes through disappointment and getting back um so from my story we came to bethel uh about well gosh almost 30 years ago now and um back a little bit before bill johnson came not quite 30 years my husband was hired as the cfo he was the cfo for 25 years at bethel church and because he was hired there we had to attend and god is jehovah sneaky because i came from um a church that maybe lifted their hands if you didn't mind people staring at you and we came to an assemblies of god church and people are dancing around and everything and then i'm just like what in the heck is going on here and and then this man named bill johnson gets hired about a year into this and he says you know i'm coming for revival and revival is all we're going to do and we're like hey revival um you know we start with 2500 people and as the people go more and more and more and more away you know it's like yay revival wow what about okay but during this season those those couple of years um we have the bethel church actually is a gymnasium and so we had basketball lines you know kind of like the outside lines and so they would say come up to the line well they it really was a line there was a line there where that was the the line where the basketball line and so we would come up to the line and um the only thing the prayer service could pray for you is more lord more lord more lord at first and i was getting nothing i was getting nothing at all and you know i spent two years on the prayer line and then a little bit later in that area they were able to say a little few things over you nicely and you know i would start getting all the prophetic words because what would happen is everybody on their prayer line would be on the ground except for me and one other person for two years and i would get the prophetic words you're a tree firmly planted you're a pillar in the house of god and i swear i said to god if i get one more tree or pillar word i'm gonna hit the prophet said i don't want to be i want to experience what these guys are experiencing but i'm not going to fall on purpose right because this has to be real and you know so many times i would have given up except for we had to attend because steve was an employee and i would get so frustrated and i'm thinking but i i did notice that i was changing inside that you know i wasn't falling on the floor i wasn't rolling around but i was softening something was happening inside of me and one more time i'm on the prayer line i'm back up waiting i'm thinking i hope today i always hope something would happen and i'm standing next to this really bitter elder's wife okay and she's saying all the things my mind is saying but i'm not speaking right and when they came through they just laid hands and she hits the ground just bam and she came up nice and i'm like okay this is either brain damage because she hit so hard or this is really gone so here i am again back on the prayer line what was i doing i was building my history with god right so you think all the stuff you're going through is a waste all the stuff you're going through is your own fault no no no no you're building your history with god just get back up on that line and it was probably in the two years of this i heard god one time say something which was amazing sure you'll understand this from my ball days but um so i didn't grow up being trained to be beautiful i didn't grow up i didn't even worry about it because i'm like well it doesn't matter if i'm not pretty i'm smart doesn't matter if i'm not pretty i'm a really good ball player except for when sherry's in left field and catches all my hits but other than that i have forgiven you sherry over the years many times for that [Laughter] but it's funny because i you know i have this idea we protect ourselves by i don't need to be pretty because i have this right so the very first thing i ever heard god say on the prayer line is somewhere in those two years i saw this huge hand in my head come out of heaven and in his hand was an emerald which was a seed which was me you know how that works it's like the visions don't make sense except oh there's an emerald in his hand it's i can tell it's a scene and i know it's me and i heard him say look at what i've created isn't she beautiful okay then all those self-defense mechanisms that says i don't have to be pretty i don't i don't care about being pretty it's like but he thinks i am so there's a lie i'm believing about myself that has given me a mindset that has allowed me to self-protect by being smart or being athletic okay is this making sense so the only other thing in two years that i heard on the prayer line i'm watching everybody fall and i'm getting frustrated and i'm like oh bill johnson preached a sermon about peter denying christ you know where he says peter's like i'm not going to deny you and then jesus is like well sorry bud but before the rooster crows three times you're gonna deny me right each time all right so i i get on the prayer line and i'm having this moment and i think you know god i think of myself as brave athletic tough but maybe i'm not that tough maybe like peter i would have been afraid and maybe i would have denied you i mean i had this epiphany of oh i'm not as brave as i think i am and i'm being honest with the lord and i heard couldn't believe it he starts to talk and he says no you wouldn't have denied me and i'm like oh my gosh in my head this is all happening really quick i'm like he he's talking to me after two years and and he thinks i'm brave because yeah you know but you know this is awesome and he goes oh no kiddo in my day you wouldn't have been asked the question i'm like what he says no in my day you wouldn't have been a disciple you would have been a pharisee and i'm like dude you can shut up now i'm like i waited two years to hear this thing awesome right that was the beginning of my breakthrough in following the holy spirit i i was spirit felt filled way way before this years before this but there was a block right because of the belief system that i carried because of the lies in my heart because of stuff going on and so the enemy really wants to keep you at a distance from god because relational authority is extremely powerful okay let me keep going here so smith swigglesworth who was called the apostle of faith he was not called the apostle of healing which he did a lot of healing but he was the apostle of faith and his whole idea was only believe only believe only believe and if someone was sick he would tell everybody in the room hey if you don't believe don't come in this room you can't you can't come in this room because only belief can come in this room with us and he would have he has crazy stories of punching people in the stomachs because it's a demon and they cough up you know the cancers and he was crazy and i just love the uh audacity of his belief in walking in faith well he used to say something if i don't see the holy spirit move i move the holy spirit i'm like i can't believe you just said that what i mean god's not a on a chain we don't yank him around but he had such a relationship with the holy spirit's like if i don't see him move he's going to move and i'm like how how can that be scriptural and then i heard his sermon that bill johnson gave and it was on john 2. on the third day there was a wedding in cana of galilee and the mother of jesus was there and both jesus and his disciples were invited to the wedding and when the wine ran out the mother jesus said they have no wine and jesus says to her woman what does it have to do with us my hour has not yet come and his mother turns to the servants and says whatever he says you do it and what happens jesus turns the water to wine before his time i suggest just like smith wigglesworth understood that when you carry relational authority with christ it's possible to move his hand before his time i can't pass on to you my relational authority it's my history i can't you can't pass on to me your relational authority i can watch it i can um follow you and i can get my own you can't pass that on you have to get back on that prayer line over and over and over and build your history so that you know oh i know the heart of god because the last time this happened i had to get up in heaven and i had to lean on his chest and i had to hear what he had to say and because i heard what he had to say and i saw how it worked out even though i would have chosen a different way to get there i do see that it's true that it turned out for my good and for my family and okay so there is you do care about me you do have my desires and heart that the scriptures that say that you know the plans i have for you declares the lord are for good and not for evil they really are true right it's a relational authority it's the history you have in christ and it is a sweet sweet aroma to the lord yeah thank you papa there's a couple of songs that i have loved in this season and you know there's there's so many um if you're talking about warring and mooring with wisdom and and some of it also is that he's with you no matter what rita springer came out with the song defender and it's just like you go before i go you know you come back with the head of my enemy and you call it my victory and all i did was praise right and i don't have sherry's voice but and all i did was worship all i did was bow down hallelujah you have saved me so much better this way wow see that is positional and relational that's where our strength comes from in this battle i think as you're building history a song that i have learned to love is another in the fire when i'm in the midst of building my history with god the song from hillsong is there's another in the fire standing next to me right there's another in the water holding back the sea right if i ever um need reminded of how what you've done for me right it's just all these different verses are coming to my head um there's a cross that bears no body right because jesus died for me the song if you're in the middle of the battle i tell you not another in the fire is a crazy one to hold on to because you're like i'm not alone he's here he's with me he's covering me he's taking care of me um and then you know i love the dante bow you are my champion giants fall when you stand undefeated every battle you've won right i am seated with the one who has conquered it all and so there's so many good reminders out there in worship as well find something that holds your heart um start start sitting with christ in the heavenly realms start gaining um okay not gaming start practicing positional authority and gaining relational authority okay so we're going to pray one thing and then i think sherry's going to take it away from there but let's just take a sec whoa let's just take a second and just say jesus i repent if i have hated building history whoa and i see now that my building history is actually gaining a relational authority with you and your heart i send back every lie to the enemy who said god isn't seeing god isn't hearing he doesn't care whoa and i ask you to pick me up daddy this time would you put me on your lap would you let me lean in so that your heartbeat is on my ear hallelujah you have saved me it's so much better this way amen thank you guys for having me
