what do I love about her and what I love about her is that she carries power Jesus empowers supernatural ministry this woman carries supernatural ministry and actually one way to honor a person that she comes I just want to personally honor you and thank you for how you I'm a pastor in first year at the BFP SSM and and Donna has actually personally directly impacted my life and my students life welcome Donna DaSilva no stop really stop that's fine thank you lord thank you guys and we have how many of you are here for this sozo conference that's going on yeah awesome come on we have about 80 in this room and just shoved in the room and we just bless you guys it's a lot cooler in this room isn't it than our little room yeah we were grateful we all stayed awake the Rabab oh groups get in there they're about 80 people 78 yeah it's very um family when that happens huh well I just want to say I only have like one sentence that I want to work on but I have to give you the idea of why I have that sentence so let's start with this I went to bed praying about the sermon a couple nights ago like I don't really know what I'm gonna preach and I always want it to be prophetic I I want it to be something that will impact you I want you to go home and say my life has changed because of something that the Spirit did through the word and I and I it's important to me that that is is what happens and so I had nothing and and that's okay because the Holy Spirit knows what he's doing he yeah thank you lord um but I went to bed thinking oh no okay Holy Spirit let's see what you can do and I woke up with this phrase what if he wasn't really talking about a mountain okay let me explain see I love how technology is now allowing science to prove more and more of the Bible I love how we are learning about the brain and we're learning how to picture the brain and the thought processes and I I love how it is proving what Jesus said thousands of years ago is actually more depth to it than what we knew before we could see the pictures let me look at this for a minute the Bible tells us in proverbs 23:7 as a man thinks so he is and dr. Carolyn Leif's books switch on your brain she describes some very finest scientific findings and she says that science has now been able to prove that thinking changes your DNA and maybe you didn't hear that so a man thinks so he is science can prove now that what you think actually can change or DNA okay you guys are not that excited about that okay the science of this is called epigenetics okay and it is the belief in the power that your belief affects your DNA there's a lot more to it in the science it talks about how we can have this this struggle between the fact that there are what visits from our family goes to the third and fourth generations and then oh yeah but the power of the Cross broke every curse yes yes yes yes and people would ask me all the time well there shouldn't be anything such as a curse because Christ died on the cross to break every curse and I said yes and I'm still seeing it sometimes in people's lives and I don't know why this is what do you think because they're nice and I know I know but maybe it's because of what they believe and now science is proving this very thought that actually it does come when trauma happens in this generation it passes down to three and four generations but it is your thoughts that turn it on and off it's important what we allow our brain to dwell on John 8:31 32 to the Jews who believed him Jesus says if you hold to my teachings you are really my disciples then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free whatever is pure whatever is holy whatever's right think on these themes why because we're supposed to be good people because we're supposed to be kind and encouraging and help the world cuz we're supposed to look different than them no God wants us to change our DNA back to the way it was supposed to be pause this is not mind over matter no no no this is us conforming to the design we were created do you know that we were created so that our brains actually helped us understand the world I know that it's probably not as deep as it was put out there but but if you hang with me a minute God designed our brains to help us rationalize to help us make sense of what's going on around us okay and it's a beautiful way that he created us but the problem is is that when bad circumstances happen in our lives our brain is still trying to make sense of it and so when you're a little child and daddy is touching you the wrong way your brain is trying to make sense of what's going on when you are in a place of trauma and something happens in your life your brain is trying to make sense of why that happened to me what did I do wrong and you're stuck in this mode where your brain is trying to fix it out and what they have studied and found is that your brain is always looking for truth but the problem is it is only able to receive the truth it believes how do you make a lie true thank you you tell it to yourself over and over and over until it becomes truth see when Jesus says you will know the truth and the truth will set you free it is completely true but the problem is the problem is is there's a lot of truths we believe that aren't true but there are truths there are beliefs and those are not going to set me free we have got to learn how to eat chew grab and wrestle down the word of God until we believe everything it says in it because that is how we are going to renew our minds so that we actually know truth right and it sets us free it takes according to dr. currently if 63 days to form a new habit isn't that interesting so if you have a habit and like I've been working on this for the last thirty days keep going keep going because you're halfway there you're just about there right Matthew seven 17 through 19 Jesus says every good tree bears good fruit but a bad tree Bears bad fruit a good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire I preached on this last time I was up here you know it's so interesting to me as Christians when bad fruit pops out in our lives and we're like oh how did it get there [Laughter] no no no you didn't see the happen it happens yeah my husband when he teaches he's prosperous a soul message with money he talks about how God made your heart a blender but he played a trick on you he didn't give it a lid and what's in your heart when it's under pressure is going to come out and it's going to get all over the walls and he says money is a spiritual power and so it's one of the items that go in there so the power mmm and money just makes what's in it bigger right and so if you have a lot of money but you have this belief system that you're a worm but we're from Bethel so our supernatural works but you still have this belief that you're a worm then when money is added to that it's gonna get on the walls and you're gonna misbehave with your money and you're gonna be like I'm getting that off the wall as fast as you can how did that get there I know exactly how it got there it's in your heart and I tell you exactly how it got there science now tells us when they snap a picture of a fully formed mind set your brain right when they it looks just like a tree let me say that again all right I loved it I was looking at the pictures and I'm like ah see we all think that Jesus is pointing to an olive tree and saying you can't get bad fruit from a good tree bad bad fruit that's a bad tree I don't think that's what he was doing I think he's pointing to it because that's what is it was there at the time but now science actually when they they actually take a snap a picture of your brain functioning in a fully formed mindset it looks just like a tree and Jesus is saying you can't get good fruit from a bad tree and you can't get bad fruit from a good tree and when bad fruit is popping in your life it is comin from a bad tree and he says make the tree good [Applause] ha ha romans 12:2 do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of God is that which is good and acceptable and perfect it really is about the tree here it's so important and I think it's time for us to stop hiding the fruit to start evaluating the fruit see as an inner healing deliverance minister I'm actually not into introspection I'm not into what's wrong with me what's wrong with me I'm actually into what's right with God because if I'm focusing on what's right with God I will know quickly what's wrong with me it's not too hard to have him standing here and me standing here and realize there's a little bit more growth that needs to happen but I'm not afraid to evaluate the fruit on the tree and if we are going to be a people that follow Christ and conformed to his image we need to be honest about the fruit on our tree that nobody sees it's the fruit that keeps you up at night wondering about what you did wrong who's gonna find out oh my gosh oh no don't let them see that it's the fruit when you're you're in a cop in the car and someone you know is almost runs into you and you're like ah what's your first word [Laughter] it's so funny about a month ago I was walking in the transformation Center and I just slit I don't know what happened but my foot just slipped out from under me and I twisted my ankle and I just kind of rolled with it and I'm laying like a you know like an upside-down turtle and I'm like I'm talking to myself you're okay you're okay it hurts you're okay you know and I thought later thank you God I didn't cuss I'm like one of the pastor's I've been here a long time thank you Jesus that that didn't pop out on the wall right it's those moments where things pop out of you be honest to evaluate the fruit right and and it's not for shame no it's it's to see because if I have bad fruit it's simply telling me I have a bad thought process that my mindset has to change so then it gives me the opportunity to say wow Jesus here's some bad fruit I know where that came from he didn't come from you it actually didn't come from the enemy it came from him here and so I'm gonna evaluate that and ask you how did that get in here where did I learn that because so many of our truths that we learn we hold and cherish but it doesn't matter how many times you tell yourself a lie yes your brain believes it's true but it really doesn't make it true if it doesn't agree with the Word of God it is not true it doesn't matter how many times you tell yourself that you can't you won't you'll never God says that in him all things are possible there's another thing there's so fun Nancy was telling us the other day and it's it's about how we have in our nervous system we have this sympathetic and the parasympathetic right she's gonna get me right here all right and and I thought you you think the sympathetic would be the right one but no it's not actually the sympathetic in your nervous system is the fight and flight so it's like right in your heightened AHA and the parasympathetic is the peace and the joy in the hope and it's actually you don't heal in the sympathetic you only heal in the parasympathetic mode our bodies are wired to heal as we rest I've been preaching that for years I had no idea it was really true but now science proves that actually when you when you are in this place of hope where you are in this place of rest you actually are in the right mode for your body to do what God created it to do and to heal science is once again proving the Word of God BAM I love that so might raise in Matthew 17 18 through 20 after the disciples could not cast out a demon from a young boy the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked why couldn't we drive it out and he replied because you have so little faith and I tell you truly if you have the faith as small as a mustard seed you can say to this mountain move from here to there and it will move and nothing will be impossible to you and I woke up and I thought what if he wasn't really talking about a mountain you know we look at the tree and he says make the tree good and now we know all these years later he was at talking not about the tree he was talking about your mindsets and how many of us have these mountains in our lives that aren't moving and actually we apply this word of God to a physical mountain what if he's not actually talking about a physical mountain what if he's talking about that mountain that is not moving in your life ha ha ha ha see I think that there are some mountains that we need to move and I think it's time for us to understand that it's just a little tiny bit of faith why because it is actually an empowering of in a seed in us that God has given us where we can actually speak to these mountains in our lives and see them crumble so what if God wasn't actually speaking about a physical mountain are there some mountains in your life that you'd like to see move I think we should move some mountains let's do it you want to move some mountains stand up [Music] and in order to do that we're gonna backtrack a little bit and we're gonna work on maybe that tree in here so we're gonna say Jesus outloud Jesus I give you permission to go into my brain to remove every ungodly thought to exchange that for your truth and I release those bad thoughts even if I've held them dear Jesus what do you want to tell me right now pay attention what you might feel what you heard what you sensed we all received differently I didn't get anything it's okay he speaks in the spirit anyway you got it anyway and then say Holy Spirit what are some mountains in my life that I'm to move today oh why the not sure but the haha I hand to you father God the lie that these mountains are too big I hand to you the lie that these mountains are so generational I can't move them and I say to these mountains you have pestered my family line too long and I command you today to move ah-ha-ha-ha I speak to relational issues peace be still I speak to financial concerns peace be still I speak to the fear of disease and sickness and I tell my mind Jesus I'm done believing lies I'm actually done believing what I thought was true which was actually a lie so I hand to you God every ungodly thought in my mind all bitterness all jealousy whoa all perversion sure Baha all performance perfectionism shame and fear and I say to these things you are no longer a mountain in my life [Music] can you feel that yeah I feel like now but when I go home it'll go away it's okay because we're moving you from sympathetic to parasympathetic because that's where we heal I love it science is proving what Jesus was saying all along and yes Jesus was pointing to a tree but he's also pointing to the tree in here thousands of years later we see it and yes he's pointing to a mountain but I think he's also pointing to the mountains in your lives and saying if you have the faith of a mustard seed a little tiny tiny thing you could say move and it would move but you have to believe it oh oh there's a catch shoot if you have a mountain in your life and you leave here and you think I shouted at it and it didn't move then change what you thought and say okay god I'm believing the truth that what you said is true and I have authority over every mountain in my life but I don't yes you do because all things are possible in Christ yeah odd that not sure about the ha ha I think some of us have still a little bit more there let's let's ask him again say Holy Spirit are there any other lies I'm believing as true hahaha whoo there's an interesting I heard I heard this I hand to you Jesus my investment in those lies see because sometimes getting rid of the lies we've invested in cost us because you know if you believed all your life you're worthless I'm worthless I'm a warmth supernatural but I'm a worm then you will never hope that something will come from you that you could actually do and you've invested so much in your life of failure and rejection that you actually don't have to risk so we are giving God the investment in these lives that have become truth to us and we're actually going to have to risk a different thought process but you don't understand I'm just stupid I can't do this I can't do it you know what if you tell yourself you can't you can't it's how the brain works it shuts off the pathways when you say I can't I can't I can't your brain says look done can't and when you start realizing that oh in Christ we can do anything your brain actually starts opening back up the pathways I know science is proving what the Word of God has told us all along so last thing I want to do is I teach about what I call colored lenses and it's actually our way of how we view life okay and so we're gonna ask the Lord as we dig in this one last place and just say Holy Spirit are there any colored lenses I view life through maybe it's rejection maybe it's fear maybe it's shame maybe it's bitterness maybe it's jealousy and I want you it's kind of funny but I love prophetic acts so I want you to put your hands here like you've got glasses on or if you have them and we're gonna give those glasses to God so we're gonna take those glasses and say Jesus I break agreement with these ungodly lenses and I hand them to you and I ask you to give me new lenses how I should see the world how I should see others how I should see myself and when you sense those glasses put him on because he's changing your process oh yeah Mon aha but remember it takes sixty three days to get a new habit so as you walk out of here with these new lenses you need to activate them for the next two months until it becomes a fully formed mindset and in the end of two months what's popping on your tree will be great amazing fruit [Applause] God works for other people but not for me it's a lie it's a lie get it out of there but it's my truth it always is my truth it doesn't matter how many times the enemy tells you a lie it isn't God's truth [Applause] haha - Rebecca ha there's an anointing in here to break those mindsets there's an anointing in here tonight in the moving of mountains and I'm gonna tell you this it's not coming from warfare today I love warfare I'm like there's the sword it's coming from peace God is wanting us to stay in the place of peace and to watch the mountains move to watch the mindsets shift and so as you come forward for prayer come not expecting this amazing crazy warfare but come expecting the God of peace to crush Satan under your feet and I bless you tonight I bless you to walk out of here with a new realization that maybe he wasn't talking about a physical Mountain amen [Applause]
