off on a fish buddy we're starting this one off on a fish we came out here for some super late winter steelhead we figured let's make one last trip before we all start transferring over to springers and salmon and chasing salmon for the next few months so there's still some fish around big dave was kind enough to invite us out here we got pop off we got sean the camera guy and we got a fish on folks freezing cold [Music] [Music] oh jesus [Music] what was i doing dude i was nervous that was a bite of some sort right here yeah it goes down right in there it's a steelhead is that boston oh god i can't was that a fish i don't know my line was bouncing around oh that might be one though a couple strange things in here strange stuff i'll let that go over oh you still got him real real i got without him and then he comes in i'm gonna grab that rod again we took his rod away for a little bit and then he got it back and caught one guy that's what happened exactly sneaky guy sneaky guy all right let's do it again all right addicts what an awesome morning uh we're starting to pick our way down the river now we ended up uh i think what did we get out of there four four lost one four lost whites a couple other little bobbles stay tuned guys hopefully some more fish coming at you fish [Music] it's little it's super little it's like barely even a steelhead all right guys so typically we weren't really planning on killing any fish today but this fish swallowed the eggs way down deep in its throat and so it was bleeding pretty bad so we're gonna go ahead and harvest this one about 23-inch fish be a tasty little barbecue fish though yeah a little pan fryer yeah a nice bright one so he was bleeding pretty good so instead of letting the fish go that's going to ultimately die we're going to take them harvest them and feed our families with them yeah buddy oh boy [Music] ten bucks next fish big money big money up it up it a thousand bucks yeah i don't think that'd be a good idea oh man man that was close but i wouldn't want you almost won a thousand dollars you almost won a thousand dude that was a giant chrome i don't know what kind of hooks that that was but yeah what's going on dude like he was fighting a bluegill or something i don't know what sets are free i panicked i'm not gonna lie it wasn't it was a steelhead not a bluegill bud i'm gonna bluegill to back your hand i know i was waiting for it right there tell you what i didn't go in there ever on any other cast not very indeed [Music] this one hi you guys this is what i did i had marlon you have to mess with the anchor you got got nick in there real quick where am i going we got there [Music] oh they're just like a lizard just gotta rub their belly whoa all right little down river hand little hatchery fish looks like a little mist clip there too hold that baby up there she is there she is oh man look at that weird yeah that's a really neat fish look at how purple the pins in the cheek are too all right girl get back to the ocean right under the boat there she goes good job buddy here's one here's why this will be a good one this would be a good one this would be a good yeah oh my god that was nice that that went down right in the meat man that's where the big ones are well come on get up that was it that was a big one that's yeah that's where they go down when they're real big that wasn't me [Music] oh my god oh my god that's a giant dave let him swim stay real though did you see how far he just jumped out of the water oh my god keep your tip in the water keep your tip in the water keep it low keep blowing don't let him come around the boat that's good no that's good that's good let him go up here did you see how far he jumped out of the water i don't think i've ever seen one go that high dude seven feet out of water that was insane let him stay up in the top he's not even like i jumped out of the boat right there oh my god this headshakes are so savage i saw that thing jump i just jumped out of the boat i don't even know why but i just got it i just got out dude oh my god i don't see a fin oh my god it's the government there's no fish push it back out push them that way push push push just put this keep low just push them all the way back up oh there you go maybe maybe put your lips there yes dude yeah oh look at this guys look at this guy marlon that's 20 pounder dude oh my god huge hatchery fish huge hat oh that's a giant guys that's what the bruce talking about does right there ladies and gentlemen oh yeah i mean dude that's 20 yeah that was a fight too like he that thing messed me up [Music] all right dude let's let this bad boy go go do his thing look at that thing what a specimen what a great fish dude another testament to the brewstock program man i mean this is it big boy look at that thing in the water oh yes and addicts that was awesome that was awesome well marlon's still kicking our butts but it's all good we got the big ones we're on the board baby looks like another big fighter is this might be bigger brother it's bigger hey guys i jumped out of the boat again i don't know i panicked oh my god that is a behemoth dude are you sure it's not a salmon it's a hatchery too oh my god oh he's just trying to he's trying to shake is that saying you don't fight steelhead you trick them trick them boys look at that thing oh my god this is [Music] [Applause] well another absolutely incredible hatchery fish just a product of our great broodstock program but we were going to show you a little bit more of it but it was so damn big and it was wily and had a lot of energy and flopped out of our hand so it was an amazing fish we're about to get another one though so stay tuned [Music] fellas [Music] [Music] [Music] all right guys there is another beautiful little hatchery buck we're gonna let this little guy swim because we're not really keeping any fish today super healthy fish but what a beautiful day man get out here catch some amazing fish like this spend an amazing day on the water with great friends and amazing weather can't ask for anything better let's get this guy back to his home go do his work look at that amazing just a platinum we caught a lot of fish we caught some big fish we caught some platinum fish caught some small fish so some of us might have caught a couple more yeah on this guy don't let these guys fool you well what a great day man absolutely man i appreciate you guys having me out absolutely dude it's late too late steelhead season which is really cool this is gonna be the my last
