[Applause] my next guest is a very beautiful talented actress she stars in under the dome it's premiering on June the 24th on CBS take a look at this your husband hasn't worked Sundays in weeks you probably just went home I should go check on it Russia in the fabric [Music] [Music] yes I was I was adjusting what happened I you talked nearly by what you did it did and I know there are welcome here anytime you're nice thank you for congratulations on the dome show the big lador did the big the dome yeah on a dorm it's the CBS big game Thank You Sean oh and based on a book by Stephen King looks like King I love Stephen King I just finished reading a Stephen Kate jus read Stephen King III started when I was too young because my mother is his biggest fan and I got into like it and Tommyknockers and all the really creepy ones and really and your mother until my 20s yeah I was dramatised has anyone ever mentioned your voice to you it's very very sexy thank you see you just like that you did that I I will have to call my my theater school teachers who made me do things like how now brown cow with all that and that was great do that again how now brown cow just fine thanks that's where are you from originally from Montreal won't you all Quebec can attack yes where we have to speak French Danish yes I speak I speak English French and French Canadian it's like it sounds quite this wall is very because I can understand French but french-canadian just sounds like I actually did a feature film last year entirely in a wall in the French dialect and I speak French but they had to hire me a dialect coach anyway to do this you it's like it's like learning an accent right it's kind of like when people from America or England go to Scotland then they go I have no idea what these people are saying yes and then rather than sound like some of those people who put it on and do it quite badly alright we should work with a coach you know Jay Baruchel he's my he's my friend he's from French Canada up there somewhere is such a proud Canadian like is saying about people from Montreal we're so proud to be from there and then there's like the Canadian thing and yeah Jay will cut you if you say it bad about Canada he'll be like he will yeah he's a hockey stick yeah yeah he will yeah hockey I've noticed yeah no it's true so what happens in under the dorm then you're living a dome and I like the Teletubbies well ah therefore we don't do as much drugs as they - what room I screwed that is how that should have you seen that show I know it did you get wait wait do you have kids no what are you doing watching Teletubbies there I was a I you do know Jay Baruchel done um there are moments where I find that show quite amusing yes I don't you saying um no we are we're in this little town of Chester's Mill which is sort of like you know could be small-town USA anywhere and this massive indestructible and visible dome comes down we're trapped like in a fishbowl yep that's Stephen King oh right yeah and then and then true - Stephen King you know people who you thought were your lovely neighbors become absolutely horrific and will cut you in the dark yeah that's Stephen King - what was your favorite of Stephen King what was like the books yeah I read 11/22/63 if you read that was I was told that would happily be my next it's crazy good I mean it's crazy good I mean he just gets better but it's not it's kind of like The Shining and our tone and back to the future all in one book it's great and it has to do with the assassination of JFK well sort of yeah but but it's more to do with the fabric of time and possibilities and and you know brutal murders obviously uh right - some of them - oh man he's he's been here you know has he yeah funny yeah he's very nice but when you talk to him of you man I have he's been on our sand by he's lovely and then you think what is in your head so that was the thought that I had when he was hanging out we were doing our table read and he was there right sort of looking over at him and I was thinking about his you know like his whole day everything is what is over oh he's got that means egg no that's uh oh yeah um you know he's prolific yes yes okay um and so I was looking over him and I thought to myself like what what's in that mind that's sitting over there I thought thank god he writes like thank God he has an outlet yeah yeah because otherwise I thank God he isn't holding anything sharp is right I was then well you know I'm Jersey's wife goes to sleep with him at night right yeah yeah she's a great shot bear you just lie there look no she's Tabitha Kim she's also big crazy yeah yeah so they're all I think they all gonna go to sleep like like they'll sleep in coal fire yeah yeah no well that's not lovely where did you make it where did I we're in Wilmington North Carolina yeah I like it there actually yeah it's beautiful and each other I've never been but I you know I say I like it I feel like now you just have to say nice things about every single place on the planet cuz you're in the doghouse right it kind of is it that way if you have a show where you're on television every night if you say anything remotely disparaging about anybody anywhere there's a flaming torches at the door right people get very upset they're very proud of it that it's like everybody is Jay Baruchel right people take things very personally now and it's easy because they can anonymous anonymous lay just yeah I think anything you want Maya are you on the tweeting I do I do a tweet and every now and then I deal with that I say something controversial yeah that's bad you know and people get oh they got crazy eye so dark and they can't the thing I don't like is they get rude really aggressive no no but for the most part it's just mainly just me like taking vine do you get very angry you is your you have red hair so are you're very angry I am but it's like a storm it's very quick right redheads are extremely temperamental oh I bet if you don't worry about me we're like well Secretariat will know right redheads you have a sort of a Auburn thing going on no you know a natural redhead oh I want I won't tell anyone have you met any air prejudice from being red-headed a lot of people think that you know redheads you know the freckles are where you store the souls of your day hey I I've heard that actually I had a really nice I've had a couple really nice encounters with young girls he came up to me and yeah oh you mean we'll compare notes later don't that um no no well um the little girls you've come up to me and been like you know it's okay for me to be a redhead at my school now like it's okay you know like the sort of you know taking one for the for the redheaded team oh really are you gonna have a March or something I might maybe I should organize a rally yeah yeah you should go to Scotland there's plenty of people there I'd be happy to join theirs yeah as far as the eye can see maybe can we do you have some friends you could ring up and we can arrange I don't know fans laughs at all you just alienated everybody everybody everybody over the period of time I've been here everyone is mad at me that's so sad well I'm new I'm not mad at you you will be we can how much time have we got to the shades jeez get mad at me now and actually we're done we're done it so this was your first late-night thing right it is yeah why is it's over that's it yeah yeah have another first I'm done yeah now you can go off and do the real ones no I know you've trained you've proved yourself worthy I can I can show I can knock on the door and be like Craig Ferguson with my past no I was you know dingdong Avon calling you our did you acted even although that was oh god I did I acted it out the door I don't know this adorable for the entire thing who can it be yeah and we were out of time you want to soar to the commercial break absolutely why do I do what I was you just go it's commercial time right it's commercial time going yeah [Applause] you
