COLLECTOR'S DREAM! WWII items found in this locker bought for $1,661 at an abandoned storage auction

leather pants oh my goodness us air force that's a neat piece right there brand new in the box lalaloopsy ah man rats ate that hole in this one hear that yes awesome oh yeah [Applause] oh i'm good yeah elvis yeah yes i can't see if that says sterling but that could be silver right here whoa 1884. oh look at that pendleton that's cool all right yeah look at that 1907 that's over 100 years old too these are some amazing books all right locker nuts we're back again for another episode another adventure another treasure hunt all right are you ready to go we're in this unit again even though this unit was sold before and it was broken into some of the items taken stolen including a big fat gun safe right in the front apparently i bought this unit anyways the next month because i liked what i saw and so far boom my intuition was spot on this time uh it's always a gamble right but this time i was right pay it off big time we're finding great stuff i think this is like episode five and uh we're gonna get to it right now are you ready to go let's do some digging all right we got an empty truck i just pulled some stuff out of here some of this is trash some of it's gonna be uh sold like at a garage sale or listed online uh it's 30 a little bit dark in here but i want to get some more boxes out i already went through these let's go through some more of this and i do want to pull some stuff out and head over to my storage unit right now so i want to transfer a few items over there and i'm thinking furniture i'm thinking i don't know either the patio or the oak i do see something kind of interesting i don't know if you guys can see it but in there i see something looks like very old wood back of something maybe a dresser or something that's neat up there i see another department 56 is london skating club actually let me get to this right here this looks like an old box yeah let's see what's in here all right what's this guy got to got to surprise us with whoa what is this are some pants right there leather pants oh my goodness us air force look at this you guys the paul reed company the leather's not in great shape it's definitely old the zipper right here has gotten a little bit corroded it still works my goodness it's good quality stuff good quality stuff sheepskin on the inside there wow okay i i mean look at this my imagination's going wild right now totally i can envision like these old movies where the the pilots are dressed in these kinds of outfits and that is so legit that's so dang cool i don't i've never seen that before all right i don't even know value i don't know how to start but i do know that this leather has got to be conditioned because it's it's very brittle i don't think anyone's gonna be buying it walking around wearing it but i think the leather can be conditioned and probably restored wow that's an amazing piece okay i did not plan to start out the video quite like that but we're starting the video out just like that and here's a very old uh gas lantern it says oh i thought it was going to be a stove it was an old lantern these are to put on your boots right strap those onto your boots you're walking on ice or snow it gives you some nice grips it looks like they're military issue and i say that only because they're green this is pretty pretty neat right here okay um if you didn't see that i got the paperwork for it too a little dirty in that box but there's the paperwork for it i gotta find out if this thing has got value i've never seen one of those either box paperwork look at that it's even got the sticker on it that's a neat piece right there and i bet you i bet you it works this stuff is built to last forever as long as you don't break it okay what else do we got in here oh man i think there's another part to this outfit oh and that's the helmet or i'm in the hat whoa oh what is this this is something different here guys look at this this japanese or something this is like rabbit fur inside this is to keep those guys warm when they're up in the upper parts of the atmosphere it's starting to fall apart a little bit this is incredibly interesting right incredibly interesting i thought this would go to that but i don't think this is i think this is japanese and this is united this is u.s what do we got here more amazingness let's see small it's another military issue i think it feels like wool i'm sure that's very warm a little hole right there i'm not going to go pulling on it because this i think is very old another hole right there some old stuff another very warm shirt right here thermal i guess you would call it possibly military i don't know another really old piece of clothing right here look at this beautiful sweater if you have knowledge on this let me know the label is gone but maybe this is something that you're familiar with it's it's been eaten up a little bit if you see there's little holes here and there probably moths got at it yeah it's been moth eaten but i think this is a very old piece right here that's got to be 75 80 years old here's a scarf completely moth eaten health guard wool and cotton 50 50 montgomery wards here's some thermals very old stuff i mean i think the pants right here the matching pants give away the age a little bit better than even the shirt does look at it that is not something that people been wearing in the last 30 40 years not that i know very cool vintage clothing we like it well that was a good start let's go to this one now boxes broom bags spare room all right well i don't get too excited or turned off by what they say because a couple times they've not been right at all a lot of paper okay there is the broom that they talked about all right laptop box no laptop see some phone systems i see quite a few phone systems uniden oh boy a bunch of paperwork okay let's see what's in here oh this is different what do we got here lego magazine or a catalog or something lalaloopsy brand new in the box lalaloopsy okay what's the value on that guys i have zero clue i don't see a date on here but i don't think this is very old it's an excellent shape though it's probably an ebay piece right there all right we're doing this we found good stuff in these plastic totes so far try not to jinx myself all right no not starting out quite as good okay these i know have some value but not significant value this is an old one though very old another old one good condition it looks like silversmiths not silver though it's community stainless just stainless steel but that's a vintage piece okay dirty pillow some sheets and towels this is a car cover right here it's more old crocheted blankets ah man rats ate that hole in this one little suckers unfortunately this some of this stuff's gonna have to get thrown away because it's been contaminated and that sucks because there's a bunch of plastic bags right here i could totally have used those for our auction not now jeez well that's just a box anyway so not too much loss there i'm not going in there all right let's go in the garbage you know why because it had those uh tins and i think the tins had food in it and there's a oh it's getting kind of dark in here but nibble nibble nibble right there that's ugly i think by most standards that's pretty ugly it's to go on top of the hutch we're not going to toss it because there might be a piece to match it but let's put the wine bottles on and the wine glasses right there okay so it's just heck of ugly though oh this one's heavy and i can see paperwork right in there so this is gonna be probably another big fat junk mail oh man hope not pope hope not paper jeez you guys are killing me on top though we got a couple of uh from costco inkjet july of 2004 yeah i don't think so all right i'll go through this off camera i'll let you know if i find anything interesting there i'm definitely not holding my breath i haven't done that box yet i'm putting it on it doesn't look fun let's do this one lampshades and stuffed animals there's a lampshade oh yeah yep and the stuffed animals is beanie babies yeah yeah boy i like that what is this hot august nights 2003 a special coca-cola thing from raley's all right that's that's neat and a wallet leave any money oh come on no money all right well it's okay dooney and burke now we're talking nope this trading card with the police officers that's the local police officers dooney and burke's nice we found that that would have been cool yeah look at these beanies that's fantastic it's fantastic we're gonna make more beanie baby lots in our upcoming auction oh and if you guys don't know what i'm talking about when i say auction i say auction you say what auction auction well every monday night at 5 p.m to actually put into our auction in brazil there's something in here shotgun shells dove and quail load winchester shoot that's good there's four four of them nice oh man this one says paint cans true true that next box shall we more stinking books do you have a plush here this is not bad disney oh boston cooking school cookbook that looks very old the old cookbooks have been doing all right for us i'm gonna put that aside modern encyclopedia of cooking another old cookbook a couple little older ones there the rest of it looks pretty standard okay this this might be better spare room beanie babies right here hear that i bet you these are in those plastic displays yes awesome oh yeah [Applause] this is good it's really good right i think it is there's winnie the pooh walrus jolly purple hippo i don't know what his name is dude he's a crab or something lobster you guys know these guys there's a monkey there's a dog and there's what else we got a couple dalmatians swan let's just get a little tie-dye chameleon blizzard your huh we had this one the other night too i think i think we did i think we optioned one of those off already this is great you guys so all this stuff right here all these beanie babies anything we find that's a little better we put in our live auctions right either next week or the week after i'm not exactly sure when but they will definitely definitely be there all right now i'm jazzed up oh yeah i feel good let's get to it let's dig out something good oh this one's heavy this got to be books could be records it'd be the right size box fallings okay sonny francis this is some older stuff i think wayne newton oh he's young what the heck greatest hits of the everly brothers all right we got some more 45s we found some of those in the last episode we found some of those very early on staedtler brothers okay that's good lord's prayer catholic version and it says made in england right here that's pretty cool i think yeah i don't know i don't know what's got over here it's almost like three-dimensional there's all these fabrics layers in here huh guardian angel all these goodies elvis yeah yes all right now we're talking alabama not bad elvis right yeah frank sinatra right we've got some good stuff here i'm not going to go through it all but already i've seen some really good rocky iii funny the kingston trio cool in the gang all right this is good this is good i'm liking it this is why we're loving this locker stuff like this look at this you guys i i showed this box in the last episode because it says bee babies b babies this is leaning on that so i can't pull it out not without everything crashing down but check it out open it up and there's more glass displays glass displays and not you know not not glass clear displays they're plastic good and bad okay usually when we found this before they're the better beanie babies are in the displays not always right but that's been my experience before but the bad news is that it spreads them out so instead of finding a bin with like 100 of them we're finding like you know maybe like 15 20 in a box that size so not as good but hopefully better quality i don't know who knows ornaments stockings this guy had like so much stinking christmas stuff it's a candle something broken next box hmm these are placemats from naval air station moffat field those look old it's too bad they're all wrinkled up still might be worth holding on to though lazydays by norman rockwell made in japan hmi 1982 and it's got norman rockwell painting on there's a mug main cam makes it a lot more interesting to me if it was named china i'd just be straight to the thrift store [Applause] look at that who knows what's rolled in there probably tobacco but i don't know for sure um but what a neat box that's neat old cigar box the lone sailor u.s navy memorial washington dc u.s historical society this is very heavy it's a little warped i'm not sure what happened to that here's another the norman rockwell hmi 1981 on this one vacation is over i'm not going to take them out of bags but these also might be something that we need to look up i'll put them aside till later this is a neat little box right here definitely dig this box oh what is this some jewelry in here some more something right here what's that what is that oh i gotta look at that i can't see if that says sterling but that could be silver right here that is definitely fancy that's nothing i don't know what that is i don't know if that's anything at all okay we'll look it up all right next box nothing written on this one so we have no clue oh i mean it was heavy that's why paperwork old coasters right there wired computer mouse in the shape of a corvette that's pretty funny all right guys i'm gonna have to go through this and see if there's anything you pull a couple items out that looks like mostly junk milk i'll go through it i'll let you know okay it is not all junk mail there's something underneath it let me get all the junk mail out we'll find out oh this this is really sticky to the touch here someone else's wedding geez oh that's a neat photo oh there's some really old photos wow 1884 let's go wicker's not in great shape it's got a neat brass handle right there okay all right some more crocheted blankets blankets blankets that's more stinking junk mail you guys are killing me killing me you know what you guys i'm gonna have to go through all this paperwork i'm just getting a feeling about this locker like there just could potentially be money in an envelope i gotta go through everything well i went through all that junk mail and i did find something i found swiss army knife it's got a broken corkscrew supposed to go all the way up there but still i believe that if you send these in they replace them i think that's the way they work just like buck knives i might be wrong but that's still a decent little fun and unfortunately now that we've gotten in here and cleared out some boxes there's another big huge couch right there to match that upholstered chair right there we got the couch and chair got another piece of wood right here oh that's not the good kind of furniture either but still a lot of boxes i'm not complaining it's just yeah it is what it is we've got another box right here what do we got clothes okay we got some clothes velvet jump apparel it's probably gonna be some older stuff in here nordstrom's not that's good right anything from nordstrom's not cheap it's an eddie bauer hanger in a van houston shirt not bad got their stuff dry clean that's nice fire to california wow that is a uh that's a vintage dress right definitely that's a little bit older it's pretty cool put that aside that's a neat piece so you can find some vintage concert shirts that would be pretty stinking awesome actually new old stock right here wrangler western shirts medium 35 that's a pretty neat shirt right there i'll put that aside that's that's a that's a little better panhandle slim that's got the same kind of look southwestern that too right a little bit a heavenly lake tahoe and this is a fleece vintage oh look at that pendleton that's nice right there pendleton woolen mills that's a wool shirt pendleton probably vintage very nice okay now we're getting some stuff now we're getting some stuff we got here oh that's cool denim shirt authentic mickey walt disney world oh yeah that's good look at that mickey ink and it's embroidered tag they don't put their dates on stuff size small looks bigger than that look at the buttons even we got a nice detail on the buttons mickey mouse looks like they got all the buttons that's a really beautiful piece right there nice okay what do we got here is this a real fur i think it is it's like rabbit fur i think it's probably died to look like a cheetah look at these buttons right here oh that's cool guys this is what they did 30 40 years ago and uh that's a neat piece it's another pendleton right here awesome awesome getting better the deeper we go there's a hagger new old stock there haggar i don't know if that's worth anything i'll put it aside look at that quiz with two z's new york this is the same thing quiz new york this one not so much it's neat but look at that that's different this is neat look at that little tassels it definitely looks southwestern okay well there's another one very cool all right what else we got here we got a few more things at the bottom that's faded glory that's too bad i was hoping another pendleton it looked like it could have been all that jazz chorus line company what is this some kind of dance outfit or something line up little embroidery on there and i don't know all right well some of the stuff we'll take home off jama do a second pass on it and see what what's what but some of the stuff like these for example i think we'll auction those that is very very interesting this one is very light i don't have two high hopes on this one i think pillows or something it's extremely light it's only half full that's the problem i i think this may have been the last box that the movers packed maybe because you see the packing paper in there yeah some good packing paper mattress cover look at this i got another fur coat this has been stored so long this hanger that foam is just disintegrating made a little bit of a mess in here that cleans up easy enough but look at that kapell's cap wells dir cap oils cap wells okay like emporium cap oils before it was emporium capitals it was cap wells and that is pretty dang cool that is a cool looking jacket very like 70s looking oh man i wonder if this leather can be restored i hope so that's beautiful beautiful it's a new old stock right here new york laundry is that good it wasn't that expensive right well look that up i guess all right just got this thing down goes on top of these chairs i'm trying to clear these chairs right up here if you can see that was up there it looks like some water ski rope that makes sense because we did find a couple water skis now we got the rope clear this area up right here and now we can get this box out we saw this box a while ago and now we finally get to take a closer look at it all right yeah okay what's this guy this piece it is piece look at that i'm actually learning something yeah beanie babies wool crocodile down there or alligator or something all right here's the purple bears that princess diana bear because i know we had one of those the other night too all right you guys i think this is good stuff i think i think i think we're not going to go through them all okay but they will all be in our live auction okay next box it says books i think this time micro books let's see let's find out together shall we yeah let's go boo boo boo i got the christie's 1980 okay i thought maybe this is one of those easton press ones it does not didn't look like it but i was maybe just kind of hoping 1900 120 year old book right there and that is in beautiful condition that i'll definitely have to put aside complete shirt like holmes treasury team history of the united states look at that 1907 that's over 100 years old too these are some amazing books all right guys we're getting low on time i got to get out of here pretty soon because i'm meeting someone over at my locker which is in the direction of traffic right now so it's going to take me a while to get there i'm gonna have to leave 45 minutes before the meet he's going to buy some speakers off me personal stuff photos what are all these oh my goodness is that what all this is no way dude there's so many there are so many pictures in here okay that goes to the pile to get back to the owner that's pretty simple and easy look at this fragile it's on the bottom of that humongous stack and it's pretty squashed okay sauvignon yep all right we got a whole set of these whatever those are i'll have to look them up they're pretty nice but made in china see if they got value but i have not had too much like a dishwasher but i don't hear any pieces floating around so looks like they packed it well enough you uh survived any major harm this one says coat closet all right we got some vintage games oh tournament rummy cube roomy cube oh that's cool i hope those are all in here i think these can sometimes have some decent value and i hope that's one of them we'll have to look that up that is interesting got some junk mail in here there's some kirby vacuum bags right there i wonder if that means we're gonna find a kirby vacuum in here somewhere this is kind of neat though this old minolta instruction book some old cards maybe we'll do a vintage lot of games in our auction coming up maybe look at those i think those are bbs for the bb gun okay there's a leg pillow contour leg pillow the things people buy one of the last items that we pull out at least today department 56 this is leeds oyster house and that potentially could be a little bit valuable 68 brand new wow that's a cool piece that's probably going on ebay all right guys well like i said that's probably gonna be it i don't know if that's gonna be cutting this a little short shorter than normal shorter than the last one anyways but uh i got a boogie all right meeting a guy trying to make a sick quick sale move some stuff that's sitting in my storage locker so that's how we do it well they're gonna close here pretty soon anyway so it's not cutting it that short um i gotta go sit in traffic for 45 minutes but made some good progress today this episode in the last episode we carved out a big chunk right there and finding fantastic stuff in this one we found great stuff from the very beginning so wow what what fun right what fun thank you guys so much for going
