your bibles and turn to the book of second kings with me in chapter number five the book of the second kings and chapter number five this morning this thought's been welling up in my heart all week and so i'm just i'm just chomping at the bits to get it out to you this morning just just man i almost feel like one of them one of them horses in the race stall at the kentucky derby man open the stall open the stall turn it loose let it go amen you might not get nothing out of it but i'm excited about preaching it amen and i i appreciate the word of god second kings chapter five sister kayla russell has been singing a song out of this chapter now for the last few months it's absolutely wonderful uh the song kind of approaches it more from the thought and the side of dealing with the christian this morning i'd like to hit it from an opposite angle this morning that's what i love about the bible there's so many applications you know it's the word of god because no other book can do what this book does this morning i mean it's absolutely amazing second kings chapter five and verse number one if you found your place with me say amen the bible said now naaman captain of the host of the king of syria was a great man with his master and honorable because by him the lord had given deliverance unto syria he was also a mighty man in valor but he was a leper and the syrians had gone out by companies and had brought away captive out of the land of israel a little maid and she waited on naaman's wife and she said under a mistress would god my lord with the prophet that is in samaria for he would recover him of his leprosy and one went in and told his lord saying thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of israel and the king of syria said go to go and i will send a letter unto the king of israel and he departed this is naaman and took with him ten talents of silver and six thousand pieces of gold and ten changes of raiment come down to verse number nine with me if you would the bible said in verse nine so naaman came with his horses and with his chariot and stood at the door of the house of elisha and elisha sent a messenger unto him saying go and wash in jordan seven times and thy flesh shall come again to thee and i like what he told him he said and thou shalt be clean but naaman was wroth and went away and said behold i thought he will surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the lord as god and strike his hand over the place and recover the leper or not habana and far par rivers of damascus better than all the waters of israel may not wash in them and be clean so he turned and went away in a rage and his servants came near and spake unto him and said my father if the prophet had been thee do some great thing would hast thou not have done it how much rather then when he saith unto thee wash and be clean then went he down and dipped himself seven times in jordan according to the saying of the man of god and his flesh came again like under the flesh of a little child and i like the last part of the verse and he was clean i want to preach this morning on the thought coming clean with god coming clean with god here in our text we find one of those fantastic absolutely wonderful old testament pictures of the new testament salvation and grace of god pictures foreshadowed typed and nobody really understood them until living on this side of the cross and on this side of an empty grave and on this side of the riches of god's grace and now looking back we see pictures veiled shadows and types of what god was planning on doing but nobody knew about there are many of these pictures all throughout the old testament i love preaching on these things matter of fact i would say what i'm preaching on this morning is one of my favorite thoughts or subjects to preach on these old testament pictures of new testament grace there's a wonderful picture over in genesis chapter two and three of adam and eve and a picture of how christ laid down his life for his bride the church over in genesis chapter two and three we find that eve sins plunges herself into depravity and adam not wanting to live without her knowing what was going to happen to him took on sin as well so he wouldn't have to live without her can i say that's what my savior did for me loved me so much that he became sin for us who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of god in him when we look at abel's sacrifice in genesis chapter 4 cain brings of the fruit of his hands an offering of the ground and god turned his nose up at it and said i don't want it but abel offers that best of the flock that lamb that blood sacrifice it points to the lamb of god which would take away the sin of the world this morning genesis 22 abraham and isaac walking up to the top of dark mount moriah and abraham makes that statement on the way up son god will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering picturing the lord jesus way down the road i mean brother they're over and over we find a tree in exodus chapter 15 that the waters were bitter and they could not drink of them in the wilderness and so god showed moses a tree and when he throwed the tree into the waters the waters were made sweet the bitter turned better the sour turned sweet all because of a tree this morning ain't you glad one day your bitter sour life met the tree of the cross of calvary and the tree made a sour life sweet and made a better life better this morning why why i love second samuel chapter number nine where that old named mephibosheth couldn't get to david so david sent the servant down to him rescued him got him out of lodibar the land of no pasture no bread and brought him up to the king's castle and said you can sit at my table like one of the king's sons and bro that's what happened to us this morning living down in lodi bar lost without god and going to hell god said i feel pretty good right there god sent the holy ghost down to where i was picked up an old lame beggar and put me into the family of god and here this morning we find this miracle this is nothing short of a miracle i've just read to you it's a miracle of god naaman can't make himself clean naaman can't work to make himself clean naaman can't be good enough to make himself clean it must be an act of a miracle of the good grace of god this morning you say preacher i've never experienced a miracle like naaman has can i say i've experienced a whole bunch of miracles that happened in the bible this morning you say what kind of miracles have you seen this morning well i must i must confess i was not there brother ap on the grassy slopes of the wilderness when jesus fed 5 000 with some bread i wasn't there but i was there today when old hungry sinner named cody zorn came to the bread of life and i called on him and he filled my soul with the bread of heaven i was not there the day that that little old thirsty woman came to the well and had been married and divorced five times and was shacked up with a man and she was thirsty i was not there when jesus gave her the whale and she left her bucket but i was there in pembroke george on a cold january night when a thirsty old sinner named cody zorn came to the water of life and i got a drink that changed my life friend i must admit i was not there when blinded eyes were open i must admit i had not seen deaf ears here and i must admit i was not there when jesus raised lame legs to walk in i was not there when jesus called dead people out of the grave but in my soul i know what it's like to be a blind sinner i know what it was like to be a deaf sinner i know what it was like to be a lame sinner i know what it was like to be a dead sinner and i heard the voice of the savior call my name in my deadness and in my deafness and in my blindness and call me out and put me in the family i'm a walking talking sure enough full-fledged bona fide god's gracious miracle standing before you god still doing miracles today friend yeah yeah yeah he's still saving souls he's still changing lives he's still doing a work in sinners hearts today and this is one of those miracles of god's grace that we can all relate to a miracle of a filthy man named naaman who gets clean with god he comes in filthy but he don't leave that way can i pause right here the onset onsen say nobody ever leaves god the same way they came this morning if you claim if you claim to know god and be saved and you met god filthy and ungodly and you still living filthy and ungodly may i say i doubt you ever met him but honey this morning i'm telling you when you have a head-on collision with jesus it will slap knock the devil out of you this morning that's bible salvation friend show you several things about this man that came clean with god can i show you four things about this story we're gonna hurry and be done and we're gonna induct some folk that's been born again number one i would like for to highlight a sinner that's dirty the first thing we find in the text is there is a center that's dirty this morning did you notice verse number one of our text the bible said our subject matter this morning is a man named naaman and watch what the bible says about him look at this guy this morning don't miss this fella the bible said naaman captain of the host of the king of syria look at the next qualification in this man's life watch his credentials he's captain the next credential is he was a great man with his master the next credential is he is honorable this morning the bible said that he had given deliverance unto syria and the bible said he was a mighty man in valor boy i'm telling you brother marty this man's got so many different credentials stuck all over him he's a captain he's a mighty man he's an honorable man i mean there's something good about this guy i mean when he walks down the street people snap to and people salute when this man walks down the street they they say man that's a good fella right there what he says you can bank on it that's a good man right there he's a hard-working man he's an honest man he loves his master and works hard he's the best soldier i ever met he loves his wife and he's faithful to her he's a good daddy and he plays with his kids i mean he's got all kinds of things going right for him but did you notice the last part of the verse don't miss the last part of the verse but fellas the fellow's got a problem that's going to negate all of his goodness but he was a leper it really this morning it really just does not matter that he is a captain of a host he's dying a leper it really just does not matter that he is a mighty man and valor he is a leper it really just does not matter how great he is or how honorable he is he is a leper and he is rotting away and he is dying and destined for the grave this morning doesn't matter how many good things the bible has to say about him does it matter how many people pat him on the back the fact is he's still a lipper he's still dirty he's still filthy and he's still dying this morning you say what in the world's that got to do with us this morning some of y'all sitting in here and if we could talk to your husband or your wife or we could talk to your mama or your daddy or we could talk to your co-workers they'd all say man that's a good woman right there boy i'll tell you she's got it all together she's a good mother she's a good provider that fellow right there he's a hard worker he stands by his word i mean you can have just a string of good things as long as your leg but may i say this morning if you're still a sinner that has never met jesus it doesn't matter how good you think you are it doesn't matter how righteous you think you are if you've never come in contact with the cleansing fountain of calvary and had your sins forgiven all of your goodness adds up to nothing and less than nothing the bible said all our righteousness are his filthy rags the bible said there is none righteous no not one the bible said all have sinned and come short of the glory of god wherefore as by one man's sin entered into the world and death by sin and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned this morning the fact is it don't matter if you're a church member it doesn't matter if you've been baptized it doesn't matter if you shook the preacher's hand it doesn't matter if you've kept the ten commandments it doesn't matter if you've helped little old ladies across the street if you've never been saved if you've never trusted christ you are a leper you are lost and you gonna suffer hell one day friend [Applause] i mean brother keith what good does it do to have all this stuff if you're a leper i mean i don't know have you ever read about leprosy in the bible leprosy is an awful disease in the bible leprosy is is a picture of sin it's something that starts small but it don't stay small leprosy is something that starts out nearly imperceptible to the eyes of others it starts as something that pops up on the skin you can read it in leviticus chapter 13 14 15 along in there it starts off as something small that you can hide and cover up something your wife didn't know about it your husband don't know about if some mom or daddy couldn't see oh by me i say there's a god that sees past it see there's a god the bible said that knows the thoughts and the intents of the heart this morning you can put on the dog and you can put on a show i like what somebody said this old country preacher said this one time he said when you try and put on the dog you end up letting the cat out the bag that's about right right there you trying to put on the dog make everybody think you really something this morning but if you never come in contact with god and been born again brother you just got seen here and cover up that god needs to cleanse this morning boy leprosy was awful leprosy was something that once it started growing on you it would disfigure your entire body you'd look like a dead man walking before you ever got to the grave your facial features would begin to rot noses would literally fall off exposing the nasal nasal cavity fingers would begin to rot and gnarl and fall off on the ends toes the same way large balls would pop out on your body till it ran pus and blood and they would have to literally go to these different places that had rags and they would take those rags and wipe that puss and blood and try and feel a little bit better and they couldn't be around god they couldn't be around of the people of god they had to stay way out yonder somewhere in a leper colony and cry unclean or unclean you see that picture of sin had separated them from the house of god it had separated the um from the presence of god this morning that's what sin does sin kills you look here i've seen the ruined lives of individuals that's fallen into sin it puts years and age and wrinkles and time on their life i've seen the pictures of those that have fallen off in the drug culture i've seen look at here it don't girls it don't make you more beautiful it wrecks your features it makes you less beautiful fellas drinking and drugging it don't make you a little better looking it makes you worse it puts years on your life it drains all the joy and the life and the vitality out of you sia and will ruin your life this morning separate you from god friend here he's got all this morality he's got all his stuff but he's a leper this morning you walk in you say yeah but preacher i'm this and preacher i do that and preacher i'm a good person here preach i'm a good person there i didn't ask you about all that stuff naaman's got all that too but he's a leper you just go ahead and tack on all your stuff you're trying to tack on and at the end of it tack this on but she was a sinner but he was a sinner you know what that does it totally negates brother jimmy and wipes out all the goodness that you just pre-aforementioned just knocks it all out this morning so here we find not only there's a sinner that's dirty i like this secondly we find that there was a saint that was directing oh there's not only a center that's dirty but now we find this little saint who starts directing the dirty center watch verses two and three verses two and three and the syrians had gone out by companies and had brought away captive out of the land of israel watch it a little maid and she waited on naaman's wife and she said unto her mistress would god my lord were with the prophet that is in samaria for he would recover him of his leprosy and one went in and told his lord saying thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of israel here enters a little girl in the story here enters a little girl of god's people she's an israelite she's god's people in the old testament and she enters with a word of hope the first point of hope in this story is there's just a little girl we don't know her name we don't know what town she come from all we know is she comes from god's people this morning and she comes with a word of a hope to a soul that had no hope can i say about this little girl this morning life has not been a bed of roses for her life has not been easy for her this little girl was drugged out of her homeland by a band of syrian marauders forced into slavery forced into bondage forced into servitude you want to know something about this girl you don't find her picketing marking marching up and down the streets and wanting everybody to give her something he's a sure enough girl that's had it rough in life and she ain't mad and ticked off and bitter she's looking to help somebody in the middle of her bondage she says maybe just maybe god has put me here for such a time as this maybe god has implanted me here to give a word that can help somebody else i mean isn't it amazing brother skip this naaman he's the captain of the host of syria he and his buddies are the ones that captured her brother zach if it was me i'd have probably looked it on naaman and said good i hope you die you're getting what you deserve stole me from mama stole me from daddy i hope you get what you deserve i hope you rot and suffer and uh but she didn't she looks and she realizes were it not for the grace of god that could be me but for the grace of god that could be one of my family members can i give you a word of compassion in a world you know what the bible said the bible said i know some have compassion making a difference this morning i wonder this is the part for every christian in here let me say this to you i wonder who god has intersected your path with in life your life may not have been a bit of roses you might have been through some hell by the half acre but god has brought you to this place and god has brought you this point you say for one to point somebody to where they can get some hope to point somebody to where they can get some healing you're not called to sit there zip your lip and shut up and just take a seed you're called to shine the light of the glorious gospel of christ even in the darkest of night even in the worst of circumstances even in the most bitterest of times you're to appoint people and say i know where a beggar can find bread i know we're a leprechaun get clean stuff i know where a thirsty person can get a drink i know somebody that can help you can i stop right there and say christian ain't you glad for the little maid that told you [Music] i don't know who the little christian was to come by your way but ain't you glad for that little christian to come by and said hey won't you come to church with me man i don't want to go to church i don't care about god yeah you need to come to church with me aren't you glad for somebody that told you and some of y'all said in here this morning you are a naaman you are a leper lost without god but somebody invited you to come this morning you know the best friends you got this morning is whoever it was that invited you to come to the house of god so you could get told how to come clean with god how to get your sin taken care of with the lord this morning i wonder child of god who are you being a little made for who are you trying to help so it wasn't some big christian it didn't say there was a big maid he didn't say there was this awesome maid he's just this little maid we don't know who she is she's just trying to do something for god you ain't got to be something big for god to be something big for god this morning as a matter of fact god likes to use an insignificant nobody's like me and like you so that he gets all the glory and all the honor this morning come and clean with god we'll see a center that's dirty we see a saint that's directing oh but i like this watch what he finds thirdly he hears a sermon that's disturbing he gets a sermon that's disturbing look at verse number nine with me verse number nine the bible said so naaman came with his horses and with his chariots and stood at the door of the house of elisha before i read anymore i can see this in my mind's eye i can see brother travis that old naaman shows up and the bible said this is what he brought with him the bible said back up in verse five he took ten talents of silver six thousand pieces of gold ten changes of raiment and son he comes rolling up in the royal cadillac i mean brother he shows up the wheels are shined up and chromed up the horses are brushed back and their coats are shining and he shows up with the best robe that he can find i mean brother he shows up spruced up polished up he wants to try and look good for the preacher hey it don't matter about trying to look good this morning if you're a leper you just come like you are i imagine brother matthew i imagine before naaman ever got there he said man i'm going to try and look right you know i want to try and clean up before i come to god i can't tell you how many people i've witnessed to and brother chip they literally told me this i'd try and get them to the lord and try and get them to trust jesus and they'd say well preacher when i get cleaned up and get some things straightened up then i'll get right with god oh go ahead naaman go ahead shine your wheels up polish your horses up go ahead throw your best robe on and show up at church looking like you you won't never get right with god like that god's not impressed god's not impressed god's not impressed by how good you look how sharp you are this morning he sees the leprosy that you hiding on the inside oh naaman tries to show up and say hey here i am yeah that ain't what god wants he wants you on your face down in the dirt saying oh whoa it's me whoa it's me i'm filthy and i'm dirty and i'm nasty this morning it's like the story i heard one time about a famous painter this famous painter was walking down the street in this large city one day and he saw this really really just bedraggled beggar i mean brother his hair was all growed out nasty his beard was nasty his face had dirt smattered on it his clothes was all tore up he smelled i mean brother he was just the epitome of just somebody that just i mean i mean just went down to the bottom and when that painter saw him he thought you know what i i want to paint a picture of of this fella it just kind of encapsulates where he's at i'd like to take a picture of this fella in his natural state he walked up to him he handed him a little bit of money and a card that had his address on him he said sir i'd like to pay the picture of you just like you are he said if you'll come tomorrow to this address i'll pay you even more just for showing up like you are the fella said just for showing up he said yeah i just want to paint a picture if you can sit still for a little while he said i can do that the next day that painter had all of his artwork set out and ready and his easel and his brushes and a little chair there for that fella and about that time he heard a knock on the door and when he opened the door he he saw a man standing there and a nice looking fella and didn't know who he was he said can i help you he said yeah i'm that beggar that was on the street yesterday i'm here for you to paint my picture this man's hair was all cut his face was all washed his beard was all trimmed his clothes were now new and set nice on him he said sir i didn't want you i didn't want you to clean up and come to me i wanted you to come to me just like you were i wanted you just like you were this morning y'all listen to me god's not interested in how much you can clean up on your own he's interested in you coming and letting him paint a portrait of his grace in your life and let him paint what he can do with you how he can clean you up how he can wash you off you try and clean up and brother you'll be back in the dirt in a little while you'll be back in the field in a little while but if you'll come to him with all the nastiness he'll fix it up he'll shine it up he'll make it right this morning and here we find naaman gets a sermon that disturbs him that ain't what he's wanting he wants this kind of sermon look at what he gets when he shows up watch the sermon that he gives verse 10 and elisha sent a messenger unto him elisha didn't even come personally treats him just like any old common average ordinary leper and this was the message go and your wash is no good your clothes are no good i want you to go wash in jordan seven times and thy flesh shall come again to thee and thou shalt be clean verse 11 but naaman was wroth and went away and said behold i thought he'll surely come out to me stand call on the name of the lord is god strike his hand over the place and recover the leper you see what he's wanting he's wanting a benny hens yo i want him to come out and give me the dude deference of the respect that i deserve i want him to come out raise a hand toward heaven holler but a nissan worship honda he want a big show he wants something brother jacob befitting what he thinks is his high office that he holds but the preacher said i'll tell you what the message is jack here's the message you take your dirty self and you go down see if you want to go up the way up ain't up the way up's down [Music] see this morning the message the message don't change for you nor ten more just like you jack i don't care how good you think you are i don't care how wonderful you think you are you are a sorry lowdown rotten sinner going to hell that needs jesus just like any street gutter bomb in charlotte couldn't care how tight your knot is couldn't care how pressed your shirt is couldn't care how long your skirt is i'm telling you if you don't know god you go into hell the drunkard goes to going to hell the murderer goes to going to hell the rapist goes to going to hell the child molester goes to going to hell the dope and goes to the same one this morning oh that ain't the message you wanted is it what you what you wanted was god loves you just right where you're at live a good life be a good person god will let you in heaven no he won't neither i'm telling you i'm getting to the positive part of this story first but the positive don't do you no good till i show you the negative nobody won't secure until they know they're sick oh nobody want no cure till they know they're sick i'm going to tell you this morning if i walked throughout the midst of a 747 jumbo jet and started walking up to people with a parachute and said hey put this parachute on this will make your ride enjoyable they'll look at that big bulky parachute and they'll think make my ride comfortable putting this big old bulky thing on you make me comfortable i don't want what you're selling jack going up the street somewhere but suppose suppose they all of a sudden hear one of them engines flame out fill a jolt in the airplane and the pilot comes over the intercom and said ladies and gentlemen the engine has gone the next one's fixing to let loose we're over in hospitable territory and we're gonna all have to bail out this man's gonna come down through here and hand you a parachute i'd advise you take it i promise you every last individual on the plane give me a parachute give me a parachute give me a prayer you know why because you see the seriousness of your condition and your situation this morning you know what the problem with modern day preachers are they're trying to give everybody a parachute without telling them why they need it this morning they're trying to give everybody jesus without telling them why they need jesus this morning i'm telling you you need him because you're headed to hell without god and you can't give to him without jesus this morning you need him that's not the message naaman wanted and did you see what naaman said you still got your bible in second kings five good for you praise god i'll let you have it if you didn't he says this watch verse 11. i used to walk up there and go to it the older i'm getting praise god that's too many steps to go back to i'm just gonna borrow his bible verse 11 but naaman was wroth and went away and said watch what he said behold i thought. there is a way which seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof of the ways of death well preacher i just think and i just believe that any way is good to heaven god will give us all big sloppy wet kiss when we get there preacher i just think that the baptist got their way and the catholics got their way and the methodists got their way and and the atheists got their way and the buddhists got their way and the muslims got their way and we just i i think that's your problem your thinking's messed up salvation ain't about how how much you reason this thing out and figure all this out salvation is faith in what jesus christ has done this morning did you notice what he says in the text he says in the text hey why can't i just go down to ubana why can't i just go down to far power surely there's more don't miss this surely there's more than one way to get clean bro bobby he says surely in my mind i'm thinking it is a really man that preacher god that preacher so narrow-minded telling me there's only one way who's he think he is telling me i've got to repent and humble myself and go down there to that river who's he think he is i'm telling you i think my way's just as good as his way fine knock yourself out go on let me know how that works out for you about a thousand years ago well it's got to be more than one way there's the abandoned way and the far part away and the joy no i'm sorry to tell you this morning there's just one way and it's a bible way and jesus said i am the way i am the truth i am the alive and no man cometh on the father but by me this morning i'm telling you it's jesus or hell it's jesus or hell it's jesus or hell this morning it's not jesus plus something it's not jesus mind or something it's just jesus jesus jesus jesus and if you want to get clean you'll come to jesus this morning i i i got to close here i've got to close you know there's a sermon that's disturbing of all of his contagious filthy sin watch what it says in verse number 14 well we start in verse 13 verse 13 his servants came near and spake on him and said my father if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing would it thou not have done it how much rather then when he saith to be wash and be clean isn't that amazing and then amazing this morning that brother mark people all over this country will their crazy head off trying to get to heaven i mean my brother beat their brains in trying to work their way to heaven i mean brother i mean they'll put ashes on their forehead on ash wednesday they'll only eat fish on lent i mean dear lord i'm a hard impressive me to pass up a cheeseburger to eat a piece of fish only amen y'all literally there are people in other countries that on palm sunday and different times of the year they'll go down the streets and beat and flog their backs till the blood runs trying to earn favor with god keeping the ten commandments trying to live a morally clean life i'm all for living marley clean i believe that's a product of salvation that's not salvation you know what they're doing they're trying to do some great thing here in the text his servant said if he asked you to do a great thing you'd have done it but he's only asking you to do something simple y'all i didn't ask you to do nothing crazy this morning i'm asking you to do something simple you say what is it come accept jesus christ as your lord and savior i'm not asking you to do a great thing i'm asking you to come trust that the great things already been done the great work already got done on the cross friend you don't got to do anything but come accept what he did this morning here's the salvation that's disinfecting watch verse number 14. then when he down and dipped himself i love the hound out of that word dipped you find that word dip or dipped several times in the king james bible you know what that word dip means it means to plunge it means to get all the way under until everything is covered naaman naaman didn't just get his neck down covered naaman didn't just stick his head in naaman didn't just toe tap in the water and say well that's enough no sir he got in until that cleansing stream covered it all i mean it covered every bit of the field that was all over naaman's life this morning say what you saying preacher i say there is a fountain filled with blood drawn from emmanuel's veins and sinners plunged beneath the flood lose all their guilty stains this morning i'm glad there's still a cleansing stream and it ain't the river jordan you say preacher preacher that must be a special place the river jordan we all ought to go get dip in there why nobody else ever did as far as getting cleansed you won't find another leper in the bible that does what naaman does you know what that tells me it wasn't the river it was the god of the river and this morning you can go to the river jordan all you want to dive in backstroke in breaststroke in swim your food head off and it ain't gonna do nothing for you but if you'll ever make one trip by faith to an old-fashioned altar and trust jesus christ there is a fountain filled with blood what can wash away my sin nothing but the blood of jesus what can make a man whole again nothing but the blood of jesus there is still a fountain open for cleansing and it's in the blood of jesus this morning you say good gosh please for goodness sakes tell me i did not just stumble up into a baptist church that still preaches that old bloody gospel that old slaughterhouse religion well i'll answer you like this once i wondered in since black knight and there was no way i could make my rooms right then the old accuser to the lord did cry he is a sinner and now he must die but then i heard a sweet voice say father i'll go and i'll take his sin dead in calvary's flow i'll be in my body the marks of the cross to save this child who was sin seeking laws here's the answer and it's still the blood that saves from sin it's still the blood friend did steal the blood this morning it always has been it always will be and if you want to get clean with god you'll come by the blood of jesus the question is do you want to get clean the question is do you want to keep on walking in your old dirty sinful condition or would you be willing to say you know what i ain't gonna walk out of here mad because what that preacher told me i'm gonna accept the gracious merciful offer of the god behind that preacher and get dipped see what happens when i get dipped same thing happened to naaman watch what happened to naaman when he got dipped verse 14 then he went down dipped himself seven times in jordan according to the saint of the man of god i love this and his flesh came again like under the flesh of a little child and he was clean flesh of a little child that's where we get our saying like a newborn baby y'all know what that means it's a picture of this he got born again [Applause] [Music] he got a new life he got he got a new start he got birthed again jesus said marvel night but i say unto thee he must be born again this morning and i love the fact help me up here esther i love the fact that when he dipped it was an instantaneous cleansing brother brandon he didn't have to wait a month for it to take effect he didn't have to wait a year for it to take effect brother when he dipped he come out clean this morning i'm not offering you some osmosis that you get a little bit today a little bit tomorrow and a little bit the next day a little bit no no no no i'm talking about this morning if you're dirty and you're filthy you can run to an altar this morning and he'll make you clean right now right now right now you say preacher what i got to do to get clean it's real simple the prophet told naaman if you'll go deep thou shalt be clean here's my message to you believe on the lord jesus christ and thou shalt be saved whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved you know maybe ain't no might you come like you are and he'll clean you up i wonder do you realize that you got a dirty problem that you need a great god to fix you with child of god i wonder whose little mate are you when's the last time you tried to help somebody get clean when's the last time you personally try to get somebody to church or try to give somebody a gospel tract so that they might get under the cleansing flow and get clean if it's been a while i didn't always say lord forgive me help me lord to help somebody else get clean this morning that's our job come and clean with god don't you come clean with him this morning let's all stand heads are bowed and eyes are closed father i pray you'd take the good word of god the precious word of god the powerful word of god and lord i pray that you do something with it this morning you said your word would not return void it would accomplish the thing that you sent it to do this morning god would you get a hold of some leper's heart some sinner that needs jesus i pray they wouldn't wait they wouldn't terry they'd come running to you and trust you in jesus name heads are bound knives are closed some have come some have come i want to ask you a question you say preacher i remember the day i remember the day when i got dipped in the cleansing flow of calvary preacher i know i'm clean this morning i know i'm saved i know there are times when i always don't act like i'm saved but preacher i know i am saved if you're saved this morning you know would you raise your hand good and high raise that hand good hi god bless you hands to leave like that preacher i'd like to come down there and get saved this morning if you're in that kind of situation would you slip your hand up right there where are you at let me pray for you would there be one in the building that slipped her hand up right now while nobody's looking around with me and god say preacher pray for me i'm not sure i'm saved i've never come clean with god but this morning i'm coming clean preacher i'm coming clean here's my hand on it preacher i'm coming clean would there be one like that in the building right now would you be honest with god that's me preacher i'm coming clean friend if you know you're lost this morning you need the lord she's gonna sing now's a good time to move you come over here grab me by my hand if you're a young lady i'll get my wife to show you how to come to christ if you're a young man i'll get brother skip to show you how to be saved won't you just come won't you just come father i pray that you'd help these in the valley of decision dealing and battling with the message that they've heard the devil's telling them one thing the holy spirit's dealing with them about another i pray this morning they wouldn't listen to the lies of the devil they'd come to jesus just like they are just like they are a leper in jesus name we pray amen sing it sis if you need the lord now's a good time to come you've been on a long and troubled don't you come on at times you feel cheated to have to bear this love while others who would barely even try would spread their wings like eagles and soar into the sky it doesn't matter who you are it doesn't matter where you've been it doesn't matter what you've done jesus is softly calling but because of who he is and because of where he's been because of what he's done you can start all over again this guilty burden you have had to bear has made your life so eerie the weathers aren't aware of the mountains of mistakes you've tried to hide but with a smile upon your face and a broken heart inside it doesn't matter who you are it doesn't matter where you've been it doesn't matter what you've done jesus is softly calling but because of who he is and because of where he's been because of what he's done you can start all over again no matter who you are where you've been he'll take you just like you are leprosy and all aren't you glad for that this morning well praise the lord if you need the lord jesus don't you leave out of here lost you come talk to one of us we'll get in this holder with you and pray with you okay so all right this is what we're going to about to do here we're we're not baptizing them for salvation we're baptizing them because they have been saved this ain't getting them to heaven you get to heaven by faith and trust in the lord jesus christ amen so all this is a personal declaration a personal proclamation to this assembly that they've trusted jesus and they're going to walk with him from here on out that's what this is about it's a testimony okay so we're gonna dunk these folk if you need to leave i understand we would sure appreciate it if you'd stay and watch them get baptized you can be seated she's gonna play
