CHRIS FARLEY GETS KISSED BY LETTERMAN

Man Alive that was my buddy there is something very very impressive quite an entrance Daniel the friend that works here say you have more than a friend he's on the payroll he said that you like physical stuff that was a very impressive engine I think in the ten years we've been doing the show I've never seen anything quite like that want to do what the king wants [Applause] [Music] you you sir are a regular Nadia Comaneci you are very Lou Retton Matt are you doing buddy about your big movie oh man things are getting better and better for your thing yeah I love it what about good what do you get a sense now of how your life might change with the fame that is going to come with the release of this film not not but you're good not famous now but you know it's going to be more and more well I don't know sometimes people come up to me like as for an autograph one time I was with my dad and what's your dad's name my dad's name is Tom yeah and then the chef at the restaurant came up and asked for an autograph that's nice and so I excited and then my dad goes what you put on there and I go I just want an autograph so it's how my name it goes oh forgot steak makes it personal these folks are coming up they're taking a risk in Hampton you'll make it for John I just bring your name like a jackass I don't know it's like sometimes you a card to autograph but thanks jeez me sweetie same old Chris yeah how does it happen I smoked in your are you gonna be okay yeah not well here you know here you can have one of those [Applause] oh man Chris you're from I think it was from Wisconsin right Madison Wisconsin yes beautiful state in a very nice City Madison I think is the capital of Wisconsin right yeah yeah yeah Madison Campeau what about your mom you mentioned your dad how's your mom doing oh he's great what kind of a life - joy and your folks have when you were a kid oh Lord Dave I put them through hell sorry about that [Applause] Oh everything today alright now what if I just start falling in love no I'm sorry kyndra's TV and as you know it's all for charity so that is it so now your mom and your mom's name is what my mom's name is Mary Ann Mary Ann and Tom okay and how does Mary how did she what was she like as a kid what what kind of a mom was she she was wonderful but probably you know as I said put her through hell yeah I remember what some times that we'd come over school skip trying to put me on a diet in sixth grade took me to Weight Watchers and stuff like did you weigh in sixth grade you mind I was pretty happy fit I was on the the highest level football team when I was in sixth grade and that's usually for the eighth graders but yeah I did it mostly because my bulk but don't you try to lose weight and so she put me on Weight Watchers and hand Weight Watchers all up and down the frigerator and she had the ice cream in there and I come home every school watch reruns of Gilligan's Island take that gallon of Weight Watchers ice cream it is my mama called Christopher I know it's Weight Watchers the but it doesn't work when you eat the whole gallon you want me to get a towel for your hair it looks like it you know it's not quite dry yet you know we don't want you catching cold we obtain what the Chris we're going to do a commercial and when we come back we'll talk about we'll talk about your show we'll talk about your movie we'll talk about anything else that's going on in your life all right excellent all right Brad we'll be right back here with Chris [Music] at NBC that must have been a huge thrill for you John it was so awesome I remember II you probably did see me on senses I was always going back and forth down onto your show I'm up here we would see in the hallway if we'd have a band or a guest on you would like yeah hey beat it tubby thank you the beverages aren't free but uh then um dang I love the show though I've been watching it for 12 years except for airs how we used to watch it in college so I owe you to go down here one time from about 8:00 and then to your studio ticker and then but first time I I got hired at saronite live of kind of paranoid and scared I had that ID card oh yeah I got at the NBC ID NBC ID and I lost it oh no and I thought oh my god Security's been breached they're gonna have to redo everyone security code I thought was a huge deal and my my paranoid fantasy was that like it would get to you and you're like who is just a higher-up a Saturday night he can hold on to an Ikea I pretty much called the shots over there yeah and that's why I had to leave but now let's talk about the movie but you're very excited it's called Tommy Boy you and David Spade David Spade very funny man very nice guy and you guys are friends as the well is working together on the show and now in this big movie yeah he's my buddy we had a lot of fun I love the shot in Toronto yeah shot in trunk we had to go back and forth a lot from Toronto to New York as we're doing the show at the same time so we'd like break up the monotony and stuff like that Spade said that he kept trying to bug me about my weight and said I can't even when I was got nervous a little bit of a weight problem I'm not sure what the hell the chair give you suspect me journey shoot exaggerated you like don't give me an excuse about nerve he's a Dre is like oh my god there's a red stop light it's not another blue car what time on the plane then he always checked the candy bar drawer make sure that there's a they're all full but the second time he checked it it was all wrappers or chocolate all around my mom I go I don't wear their white bend to break up the monotony one time everyone was really tired and I couldn't sleep for some reason so they all woke up and I was Barenaked on the plane the pilot said get your clothes on it reeks in here oh god that was a bad one exit oh no stress you're being too hard on yourselves that's a lovely story let's talk a little bit about the movie Tommy Boy it's about a kid that like inherits his dad's business that kind of deal is what it is yeah I go work for my dad yeah played by Brian Dennehy man he is awesome see that's excellent casting the two of you I could believe that father and son that's a good job yeah and then I kept through you keep screwing up for the company and stuff I really love this movie I hope that everyone will like it cuz we had fun making and I think it's really good I hope so too I hope it's a huge hit for you and for David Spade and everybody else as well because if I don't I'm going back to Wisconsin on the farm so go to it now no that was stupid too you know you're very entertaining and a very nice guy I appreciate you coming over to say hello tonight Thanks all right all right good luck Chris thank you very much [Applause] [Music] [Applause]
