And speaking of things that go up and down, >> Yeah.
>> [LAUGH] >> B and J were photographed posing in a New York City elevator last night,
giving a wink to the infamous incident involving Beyonce's sister Solange.
Look at that
>> [LAUGH] >> I just love their sense of humor. >> They look good.
>> I do, too. >> Yes. >> It was the couple's first public outing following Jay's candid interview
with the New York Times where he finally admitted to cheating on Beyoncé.
>> Wow. >> So ladies, are you happy to see that music's
first couple, power couple, is stronger than ever?
>> Yes. >> [APPLAUSE] >> This is some grown manish, you know what I'm saying?
If you actually, if you get a chance please watch
the interview the documentary. It's so awesome, he's actually being very adult about it.
>> Yeah. >> And being very forward and I think that that takes real courage.
And I think that actually takes real growth.
>> It does. >> I can't have a conversation like that if you're not over it, you're not,
they're obviously in a way better place. And I think it's also great to see them poke fun at it.
>> Yeah. >> Yup. >> I think he actually told the camera go for it.
>> [LAUGH] >> Just, they said he quote like said go for it.
I get it, you see us in a elevator, take the picture, whatever.
>> Actually, I think he said, come and get it.
>> Come and get it, yes. >> And the way he said it, there was something sexy about it.
He was like, come and get it, come and get it.
It was the bedroom call. Well, it was much better than mine.
>> [LAUGH] >> Honey. [LAUGH] Come honey. >> I was come for it. They're in a better place. They're so far from that. >> They're good. >> WelI think the both of them actually got everything
out to the public so there's nothing to hide anymore.
>> Yes. I had read actually, or saw the interview that Jay-Z did, that The
Lemonade Album was actually supposed to be a collaboration.
>> Yes? >> They both were supposed to be on that album, yes.
>> I didn't know that! >> And then Jay-Z saw that she was doing her own thing.
>> [LAUGH] >> And he was like, okay, and he gave her permission to do that.
>> Yes. >> And then his album, he talked about it, so, they're in a good place.
And I'm never going to talk bad about
somebody trying to work for their marriage.
>> [APPLAUSE] >> Absolutely, always.
>> [APPLAUSE] >> I would never have thought, only because it's a celebrity life.
I would never have thought that you'd have to do what Jay Z did.
But to me, I found it so honorable because I've been around couples
that have had to deal with infidelity. It is something that scars you for life.
>> Yeah >> Sometimes you can never make it through.
Some marriages can never make it through again, cuz it's all you go back to and think about.
But when he came public, and put his stuff out there, and
actually kind of, its repenting right? When you repent in public,
that changes the whole situation. And its still gonna to take time for
people to heal, wherever you are. >> Yeah,
>> But that? You heal yourself.
>> Yes. >> And that's where the beginning starts to kind of spread that. >> [APPLAUSE]
>> [CROSSTALK] >> I like what you just said, they didn't have to do this.
>> No. >> This don't owe an explanation to anyone.
>> They didn't owe it to us. It's a personal thing. So for them to do that was a big thing.
>> Yeah. >> I also think that it showed a lot of men that look up to JayZ, JayZ's an icon, and so many young men look up to him
>> And I think to hear him speak the way he speaks about his wife, his family and
what he's learned from this. He even talked about men crying. And he said that as a young person, a lot of young men are taught
not to be vulnerable. They don't know how to
share their feelings. >> Mm Hm. So Hard. >> They do different things.
And to see Jay who has this impact on
these young guys say it's okay to cry. It's okay to tell a woman
that you're vulnerable, It's okay to say I'm sorry, it's okay. And I think that it's
such a big thing that so many men are listening to this album, and doing things differently because.
>> [APPLAUSE]. >> Yes. >> Of what he said. He has massive influence.
>> What do you think, Lani? You're so quiet over there.
>> It's just that I am listening and I like the fact that
when you think about it, it does not matter how much money,
how much power you think you have. We're all really just the same. >> Yes.
>> [APPLAUSE]. >> We have the same feelings.
>> Problems. >> Wait you are saying. We're the same
>> Thank you. We're kind of like Beyonce? >> [LAUGH]
>> Yeah, I mean. She's a real girl. You think about it. I mean that Lemonade album. Yes.
I'm sorry. I man, it's just some things I listen to.
>> Yes. And I'm going through it,
and I'm like, I ain't sorry. That's right I ain't sorry. >> [APPLAUSE] >> Wow.
>> Wow. >> That was like a twelve step program, it was all the phases you went through.
>> Or because that's you.
>> It was very theraputic. >> And I tell anybody you had not heard the lemonade album hear it then
>> Stop. >> Hear the follow up which is Jay's Four Four Four, hear that and
you will understand what we are talking about. >> Yes.
>> And why it's so phenominal.
>> Yes. >> We just love them
>> Come on the show, y'all!
>> [APPLAUSE]
