Baldur's Gate 3: Unleashing Darkness - Exploring the Oathbreaker Paladin Subclass

on my previous video The Rascals Athos and porthos managed to become paladins against impossible odds after wandering about Andrew Grove porthos found a caged Goblin and decided to poke it with a bolt and not to be outdone Athos found a paralyzed Heathrow and whacked it with a twig and just like that the two Mischief Knights have broken their Oaths a spasm grips your chest strength filters however they didn't know that the most difficult test still lies ahead before they can become outbreakers it's necessary for them to listen to this guy speak his nonsense with that awful accent of his part I have walked since the moment I fell I don't believe this Paladin really broke his elf or did something terrible the choice is yours alone I think he was kicked out of the order for being an idiot [Music] after fighting him I doubt if he truly understands the purpose of a sword what a joke can't even land a single hit [Music] in any case regardless of what your subclass was you get the same set of subclass features once you've become an oath breaker spiteful suffering will cause a maximum of seven necrotic damage for three turns additionally attack rolls on the inflicted enemy will have advantage this spell needs concentration to maintain and will require a channel oath charge to cast control Undead according to the description lets you control an undead creature keep in mind though that control simply means they'll follow you around and automatically attacks your enemies foreign with the creature in any way is impossible you will not be able to give them commands as you would Conor [Music] I think this is a waste of Channel oath charge Dreadful aspect will frighten enemies frightened enemies will not be able to move however they can still cast spells and attack you if you are within their melee range they will have disadvantage though and will have a high chance to miss [Music] foreign you take damage it deals a maximum of 20 fire damage and will use up a spell slot each time it activates if set to manual you can choose exactly when to trigger it [Music] inflict wounds deals a maximum of 30 necrotic damage [Music] for three turns crowd of Madness makes enemies attack creatures close to them even their allies in darkness causes blindness to enemies inside the affected area reducing their chance to hit [Music] as for the Spells oath Breakers have identical spells with both the oath of the Ancients an oath of devotion subclasses they have access to the same smites too oathbreaker is by far my most favorite Paladin subclass my character Miss GB is capable of defeating all the bosses in Early Access on her own without requiring assistance from other characters check the link in the description to see her fight videos both of the Ancients comes in a close second because of Moonbeam and its crowd control spells my next Baldur's Gate video will be about the cleric class and its subclasses the Life Light and trickery domains I've also started playing cyberpunk 2077 so I'll be releasing videos about this game as well while waiting for the full release this August thanks for watching
