us to cry to god tonight and shout say father arise and have mercy upon me open your mouth and begin to pray mighty god in the name of jesus christ of nazareth daddy we pray oh god for the church of god we pray for your sons and for your daughters that if we pray oh god for our children and our spouses we pray for our pastors and our ministers oh god father i rise and have mercy i rise and have mercy oh god for the time to favor zionist now yes lord this is the second time my lord and my father the time for the manifestation of your favor is now a god arise in your mercy arise in your mercy says bless the lord all my soul and forget not his benefits brethren when you count your blessings and name them one by one actually don't even have to go far look at what happened here on monday through the dynamics church look at what god did on tuesday through paul's pulse and church look at what god did on relative to infinity look at what he is doing i want you to leave those beautiful voices up to the lord tonight and say father i am grateful i am thankful that you are showing yourself mighty in our midst i am thankful oh god that you are here in our presence i am thankful king god glory for how you are manifesting your glory for how you are manifesting your honor for how you are manifesting your presence lord we do not take it for granted oh god all these years only your faithfulness have saved us through the deaths of this pandemic even as the conflict is still rioting all about the place jesus you have shown us mercy and we are careful not to take it for granted but i please oh god tonight let our thanksgiving come up to you my lord and my father thank you the king of glory thank you the lord of lost thank you the everlasting father thank you for what you are going to do today but the bible says my lord and my god that the glory of the latter has shall greatly increase but i will thank you because today will be greater than the past three days put together and tomorrow we become greater saturday will be greater sunday will be greatest because of you and your world we honor you tonight lord in jesus most precious name we have prayed let that amen be alive in jesus name we have prayed but then we are going to pray tonight concerning the evidential manifestation of god's anointing in all areas and ramifications of our life in mark chapter 5 verse 25 to 26 i'm going to saw my eyes because of time the bible talked about a certain woman with the issue of blood for 12 good years this woman lavished her life she lavished her resources she lavished everything her energy upon doctors trying to find solutions to her problem he defied all odds until that setting day like today she had jesus was in the house like i know jesus is in the house tonight and she said in her heart if only i can touch the hem of his garment brethren i want you to cry on to the lord tonight father i can't hear you father i reject any situation that will take away my identity anything that will replace my name oh god my presence and my activity in you i rejected every part of the enemy anything that would steal my identity away that is too nice that was just after this identity i reject it tonight i renounce it tonight it will not hold waters it will not stand in the name of jesus only your cancer concerning us will stand there but in the name of jesus every that situation every circumstance or god that has defied all lord medical doctors activities in the office but are tonight in the name of jesus but the bible says at the mission of the name of jesus the woman was made whole i don't know who the lord is talking to tonight but i want you to begin to decree and declare my promotion is in stance my anointing is instant in the name of jesus whatever you are believing god for i want you to begin to declare it tonight mighty father king of glory we are believing your word whatever the enemy has done before now enough is enough but that we have left our god fat city we are moving into our inheritance we are possessing our possession oh god whatever has been outstanding whatever that the elderly has written as a veil even to block your children we unveil that mass tonight and father we decree and we declare but the king of glory that promotion has come anointing has come into the name of jesus christ of nazareth father you have done it oh god tonight we are decreeing the devil will not have any hope the devil will no longer have any work out upon us our lives are hidden in christ and christ in god let no man touch us but we bear upon us my what anointed means also to empower uh you know everybody wants to be great that's it most people let me put it like that would like to be great and so i believe that the theme is an appropriate theme for the city of david and the people who will listen to this worldwide let us pray heavenly father once again we thank you we bless your name thank you for the opportunity to speak about you thank you for pastor joe and his wife and thank you for the members of this church who make this church what it is the words we will speak let it not be my words let it be your words let them not say they've had a good salmon let everyone say that the lord has spoken to them and that they would go and do that which they have had in jesus mighty name we pray i want to title this sermon dare to dream dare to dream because it's one thing for you to be empowered for greatness it's another thing to achieve that greatness and you know the classic story is the story of saul so was anointed to be the greatest he was anointed to be the first king of israel but we saw how he ended so it's one thing to be anointed for greatness is another thing to achieve greatness so that's why that someone i'm going to share with us for the next few minutes it's based upon a couple of principles that will help us that even if we are empowered for greatness that we achieve that greatness you know proverbs 23 verse 7 says for as a man thinketh so he is as a man thinketh so he will actually become and god wants us to be great he wants us to be victorious and you know he said something to us in john 10 10 in the living new living translation it says my purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life a rich life means the quality of life abundance and more than enough satisfying is joy fulfillment happiness and contentment so this is what jesus said i have come to give you and it is important for us to key in into what god wants for us i want to share some thoughts with us as a background because it's important for us you know jesus christ says seeking for the kingdom of god and what does this mean by that and his righteousness what jesus said one of the most important thing for us is to have a relationship with the father have a relationship with god and you know one of the things that god give to man is a relationship you know we we understand in the old testament we understand him as god as a consuming fire we understand him as a god that is far away but jesus christ came to share something different with us he came to tell us and introduce a father to us so he introduced a father to us that is there is a relationship between you and your maker so he came to do that and that's what god did in the garden of eden he had relationship with adam and eve who would come in the cool of the night he would share with them he would talk with them and all of those things so god wants us to have a relationship and that's why jesus says seeking first the kingdom of god i go on to say that one of the most powerful things on heart is an idea it's an idea that takes man to the moon it's an idea that makes us to have uh a phone that has uh that can have a hundred apps doing hundred different things and be able to put it in our pocket is it's an idea that makes uh uh a car to move a plane to fly and all of those so ideas are very it's one of the most powerful thing because we are what we think and we become what we continue to think that's what we become you cannot rise above the level of your thinking and so to change your life you must change the way you think you must change your mind and you know when jesus christ came one of the things he said is that repent rethink we think the way and he kept saying you have had now i tell you something you know you remember his first sermon in matthew 5 to 7 to matthew chapter 7 you know the the the someone on the house would call it someone he kept saying today you have had this one now i give you a new because he knows that he had he knew that he has to change their thinking so that they can embrace that which he has brought so the way we think creates a mindset which dictates our motivation in a lot of things the way we think which is revealed in our response to the challenges and the environment that we live and our relationship with people it also reveals our perceptions of ourself and the world at light it forms our belief system and our belief system controls our behavior it starts as a thought and then it tries to it changes the way we see everything it then becomes the source of our actions our thoughts the way we think it becomes the source of our actions and it determines our response to our environment and to the challenges and the different things that we come across and so it's important that our belief which becomes our convictions we must know what is the source of the belief because our belief becomes our convictions our convictions conceived becomes the philosophy in which we use to guide our lives and our philosophy it's a principle of guidance and conduct and the knowledge that we have to live our lives so philosophy conceived becomes our lifestyle it becomes our lifestyle and everything always starts with a thought so lifestyles determines our destiny that's so important it determines our destiny and so the most important component of this is the source of the thought is the source of the idea since it's going to become our philosophy this is going to become the way we react to things the way we see life the way we behave our lifestyles and everything so it starts as a thought then it goes on to our conviction it goes on to our belief system it goes on to our philosophy of life and the way we react to things so that's when the bible says as a man think it so you will become your thoughts will let you become who you are today so many ideas and thoughts and the most of us what we are using today to live our lives are thoughts and ideas of people you know people like the greek philosophers you know bedridd uh plato socrates and all of those people the things that has shaped world socialism you understand democracy and all of these were thoughts of people about how things can be and many times the whole world has shared and live our lives in the start in acts 17 verse 10 to 12 tells us of the berean people you know the bible says that they came when they come to church and they they they went back home what they had they go and look at it and say this thought that was shared this message that was shared what is the source of it because if the source is wrong the behavior the philosophy and everything that came out of that thought and idea will be wrong i'm going somewhere today don't think you know so when god is a source of our ideas and our thoughts it is completely different why because you know man is parochial and man is myopic that is man is baroque and cannot see fire but the difference between god is that god sees the 360. god sees across the bend he has a total 360 view of everything and so the bible says that before he starts anything he knows the end of it that's why we call him the alpha and the omega that's why we say is the omniscient god the all-knowing god man is not all-knowing man's decision most of the time is predicated upon what has happened and so he thinks i can do this future no i can figure out the future like this but that's not how god says things god has seen the future before the beginning started and so the source of our thoughts that will be enduring and that will create greatness inside of us must be based upon god that's why i like this title of anointing for greatness to be empowered for greatness so today like i said i want to share some things with us and i have an accolade which i said you dare to dream that is d-r-e-a-m-s and i'm going to use these dreams this is an acronym but it's the academy's dreams to share with us how we can achieve one thing we can achieve greatness it's important because that's the whole point of this conference so god wants us to dream that's just the truth because the thing about dreams and visions is that it draws us towards it when you have a vision when you have a dream it draws you towards it one of the most powerful thing about dreams and vision is that it simplifies your life i'm going to say that again visions simplify your life what do i mean by that it simplifies your life because you know what not to go after you know exactly what you're visually so you leave washington you're going to atlanta you don't get to north carolina and then via off to south carolina i know you know exactly where you're going so when you have a vision it simplifies your life so if enemy offers you anything you say no this is not part of my vision it makes you not to worry so even if people have gone ahead of you it's okay because you have your own vision so don't run another man's race you're running your own because you have a clarity of where you are going so god gives us dreams that's what he gave to joseph he had his dreams and his dreams the thing about dreams of god is that it always comes to pass because god never dangles carrot before us he shows us what he can do he never shows us what he can't do and so i want to talk about dreams and the dream is the first d is dedication the second the hand is responsibility the e is education the a is attitude the aim is motivation and the s is submit to god and i want to use the life of a man in the bible since i said that the source of our thoughts should be based upon the word of god as believers because it's only the word of god that endures that's all that can endure every other thing can pass away is their temper but forever oh lord your word is settled so we want to use a story in the bible to explain the dreams that they are creating the dream and it's a man that i'm sure we all have had at one time or the other i'm sure pastor will have preached it but let's see a little bit of perspective towards this because this man dared to dream and he achieved greatness by these principles that we want to talk about judges 11 it shows us life does not give us judges level it shows us life does not give us what we deserve but life gives us what we demand of it so to be great you are going to face opposition don't think that the enemy is going to fall this hand and let you be great so life does not just and us unto us look at the story we talked about about uh about saul he was anointed for greatness the first king of israel god did everything to make sure that this man is chosen chose his tribe chose his uh chosen church's family did everything for him but yet god said i regret trying to make this man great he said i regret this so it's one thing to be empowered it's another thing for you to step into that greatness and achieve god's original plan for you so life doesn't give us what we deserve but what we demand of it and but god needs our cooperation for that which he wants to do for us for it to manifest and for you to come to pass you know in hebrews 11 verse 32 he said something about this one we want to talk about his name it's jeff time i like the story of gesture says these people true faith they subdued kingdoms through faith faith in god through believing the word of god through standing upon that which god has said believe it so jephthah how could it be what we call the hall of faith fame hall of fame of faith how can that be how can he a a man that was rejected how can that be that's what we want to look at today because i see this man the word dreams i see to work for him so let's look at this hebrews um judges 11. now jefferson the gilead was a mighty man of valor but he was the son of a harlot you know once they put bots in your name and talking about you it means you know there's something negative so they say it's a it's a rich man but doesn't have children she's very smart but not married she's this but this so once that is added into it it's always a challenge so they said but the son of a harlot the gilead begot jeffter gillian's wife ball in sons and when his story for the purpose because for him to be in the hall of fame of faith there is something significant about him that we can't ignore so they say he was a son of a prostitute that means he was a bastard which was not due to his fault it wasn't due to his fault he suffered from the sins of his parents at times we also suffer for the sins of other people for the mistakes of other people some of them we made some of them we don't and so a lot of the times we cannot say oh because of this that's why my life is not good it carried the stigma in his life what stigma did you carry in your life he had what i call an identity problem that's what he had it's a son of a prostitute so no matter how well you're doing they say but so rejection makes you less than what god wants and intended for you to be rejection is one of the highest things that causes people to commit suicide because all of a sudden they feel they do not belong they don't belong to the society nobody wants them so why don't i end it so it makes us less than god intended us to be it is said to be the number one cause of depression in the world because of rejection even jesus could not do much in his bad place bible tells us that the people did not accept it and because of that it could not work miracle in the place a reproach when it's used to describe you can end your life they nearly ended the ministry of our lord jesus christ where they said can any good thing come out of nazareth so the people that rejected it were people who were his family members which is always also worse you know when outsiders reject you all right but when you're family you feel betrayed it's a closed wound when close friends reject you relatives close associate loved ones maybe it's a boyfriend maybe it's your girlfriend that rejects you it sends one into an abyss of depression when they drop you like a broken toy you feel worthless but i want to take the a in the dreams i want to start with a which is attitude which is attitude i want you to say that after me attitude so the a in the dreams let me start with it because our attitude to things will always decide our attitude as the same how high we will go you would determine whether the rejection you have been through makes you or maybe it will marry you it can be a trigger for you the rejection saying i am better than this so you will find that this man he had the right attitude so no matter the reproach no matter the rejection no matter the stigma attitude is how we respond to life so they might have rejected you attitude is how you respond to life your attitude towards them will determine your future attitude towards the challenges you come across you want to be great your attitude will determine your greatness how great you are going to be because when they said that about jesus christ they would have like i said they would have ended this ministry but his attitude was not that when they told him that we know you your family and all of those things ignore them because your attitude is important it will determine how far you will go you cannot rise above your attitude you can't rise above your attitude you know so it's important that we have the right attitude that say that it is not it is attitude not aptitude it is attitude not aptitude and it is ability it is not ability but mentality so it is not the ability that i have it is the way you think that makes an attitude is a land behavior which creates our beliefs going back to that again that produces our thoughts our attitude towards things so we change our attitudes by changing our beliefs and changing the thoughts about ourselves we've got to do that so many of us will let rejection end our lives that's what we we say we that's what we we buy into so attitude of a lion he looks at the big elephant which is ten times bigger heavier than it but when he sees it what he's thinking about is lunch that's what he's thinking that's what they rely on this and so they gather themselves and they see it as a great lunch and they go for it how do you see yourself because attitude is how you respond to the situation and the circumstances the opposing thing not wanting you to be great is your attitude and you can learn to change your attitude so this man gesture we could see in his life he had the right attitude the bible says he was a warrior and a man of valor that's how it was introduced but of course things turned around for you and they said something that is important that said you have no inheritance with us so what they meant by that you have no future with us so there are times people tell you i do not see any future with you so it might be your husband it might be your wife it might be your colleague somebody saying i'm walking away because i don't see a future with you but man might not see a future with you but with the right attitude and the help of god you can still achieve greatness the bible says that they drove him out forcefully they forcefully rejected him they treated him in an ignorable way they treated him in a worthless way nothing that was due to his work to his fault they did this against his wish i can imagine how he will be pleading but it fell on their face some of us nobody rejected us because one of the greatest rejection is when you reject yourself because you feel you don't measure up so the bible says he went to the land of tobe the land of trump means he went to a good land everybody who has a bought or has suffered depression has gone to the land of tube to find solace like david he went to the cave of adullam mephibosheth went to ludiben the man he attracted the bible says they were worthless men worthless rebels malfunctioning people from being a great warrior to having within this band of worthless people how does a man pick up the pieces of his life when he has been rejected like this how can you pick up your life where you fall from grass to grace from grace to grass how do you then determine to say i want to come out of this i go to the first alphabet d in dreams dedication it's important dedication to his dreams you have to be dedicated to it that's the first d he did not let what people did make him to abandon his dreams because his dreams are within him what people say must not make you abandon your dreams they took joseph scott but they could not take his dream because his dream is within him joseph was rejected by his brothers but he still became the prime minister because of the right attitude that he had he had the right attitude he was in prison with people he was still telling them how bad their countenance was so it's important that you are dedicated and committed to it for you to be great to your dreams the next one because of time is our responsibility we look at this manchester you can go and read the story because of time he took responsibility for his life not only did he take responsibility for his life he took responsibility for others he was responsible for their lives and their training he trained them the worthless people they became mighty men of valor they became strong men the people who were out of focus now had vision he had a clear vision he had a clear dream he took what seems worthless he took what people can ignore he took on rejects and he turned them into great men he took responsibility he took on himself the problems other people ran away from who wants worthless people but he didn't chase them away a lot of the times what god offers us we say what is this like manner what is this but it's only when you walk upon it that you will see the value of what it is so a lot of people become worthless because not because they want to be worthless but because they didn't know better so when you take responsibility of things it changes everything his rejection made him to know how to undo rejects what he has been through he was rejected also so when rejects came to him he didn't chase them away because he knew what it is to be rejected so the bible tells us that he had this rejects with him and he changed them he accepted what other people would have ridiculed that's what he did i can imagine he was ridiculed but his dedication to it kept him going you know you can imagine when the dream away went to the and then they are hearing what is going on with him in the land of trump they say guess what all the rejected people all these bands and all these bandits and all of those people they're the people with it but see what it taught the people to be took responsibility he became an influential leader he added value to himself which takes me to the next e education he added value to himself that's what he did he got more knowledge about how to handle situations that are complex that he didn't understand rejected people he dedicated himself on leadership qualities we could see that he was able to train followers to become mighty men of valor he educated himself on how to turn raw materials into finnish goods how to make the best of what seems wrong and to refine them which is one of the reasons why people become great the ability to change what is wrong for you to become refined goods that people will seek he educated himself he educated himself on how to survive in a foreign and strange land as a foreigner many of us were foreigners in this land but we have not trained and educated ourselves how to survive in this land rather we abused the land he went to the land of tobe and he make good of going to that land he did when you look at him you could find out that the situation for him look bleak but he saw prospect in the foreign land do you see prospect in the foreign land today they saw prospect with the rejected people do you see greatness out of some raw materials that god has exposed you to he knew about negotiations when you read the story we don't have time because i'm running out of time he knew about negotiations and deals he's part of his education is sought clarity how to win when they came to him he knew what the situation was you know businessman and businesswoman husband and wife many of us don't even know how to communicate but this one knew i had to communicate when when the elders came to him and told him we want you to help us he asked them he knew what to ask them he knew what to say to them because one thing he has done he has educated himself have you educated yourself many of us we are in a trade that we don't know much about many of us want to go into businesses we have not read we have not researched it we just know somebody is doing it and because somebody then we go after it no people are doing nothing and doing nothing people are rushing to nothing but you can't stand people you are going to inject somebody in anger one day learn about it educate yourself before you get into it you could if you see in judges that judges we are reading in verse 12 he first tried to negotiate look at what he did because he knows that peace is cheaper than war peace is cheaper than war married people take note that we also should ask ourselves is peace is it not better than arguments and war he explained his position and he explained his understanding of things we find out that in verse 27 he exhausted all the options i want to ask you do you exhaust all the options before you take a decision when we saw a man who has educated himself had that value to himself how much value have you added to yourself in the past five years in the past several years what have you done differently what knowledge have you sought the next one is m has spoken about a which is attitude motivation we must be motivated to be great because you know why opposition will come and it's a motivation that makes you to go over the opposition he was motivated by the price he said what am i going to get what are you going to give to me because you know a lot of the reasons why we are not motivated is because we don't have our eyes on the price that's it we have almost ever the same for the that's the reason why jesus christ was able to endure the cross was because of the prize that's right so it's important it says for the joy that was set before him he endured the joy was the price that's it it was the motivation to go through the cross so there must be motivation all the time he said this is the ultimate price it's going to be like this it's all that i've worked for he saw opportunity that he has waited for because all the things that he did refining raw materials when the opportunity came he said this is the motivation i've had that ultimately they will come and look for me they went to look for him he had waited for success he had prepared for this opportunity he was motivated because he wanted to be successful he wanted to be successful from a great setback he wanted to be successful from a reproach and the stigma that he had gone through what people will say did not bother him he didn't bother him he was more he had his eyes on the prize he educated himself had the right attitude had great dreams his motivation made him to do one thing to forgive a lot of people find it difficult to forgive but you know he thought that these people who rejected me they're the same people he came to me you came for me look at that so he said you know what i'm forgiving you i'm not i have my highest on the price and because i have my eyes on the price i'm not going to dwell with unforgiveness because you know people who live in unforgiveness don't allow somebody to live free of charge without rent in your head don't allow that because unforgiveness is like you drinking poison and expecting the other person you didn't forgive to die you're the one who's gonna die because jesus christ made it clear if you don't forgive men god will not forgive you god forbid that god doesn't forgive you don't let people control your life without forgiveness when you see them rises up inside of you don't allow that to be let them go they're not worth it have your eyes on the prize the price of your salvation the price of your greatness don't let anybody in there that which god has for you so his motivation made him to forgive his dream motivated him his vision motivated he did not give up he didn't give up you can't say because of my setback because these people caused this for me you're going to let them dictate the rest of your life the s is submit to god dreams the s is submit to god this man was successful above all because he had a relationship with god he had a relationship with god when you read the story we don't have time to go and read we read the story of jephthah george 11. in verse 29 he says the spirit of god same spirit is upon us today the spirit of god that was upon him the same spirit is available for us today in verse 29 verse 30 he knew though he was a great warrior he knew he needed god maybe we should read that i know i'm out of time but let's look at what happened and the spirit of the lord came upon jephthah and he passed through gilead and manasseh and he passed through whisper and gilead and you know and then verstappen says and jephthah made a vow to the lord he had a relationship with god he was a great warrior he has refined people he had done a whole lot of things he has educated himself now he's been sought after he has got into the pinnacle of his career with his education like some of us he has got into the particular of his career in the in your workplace and all of those things but he still knew that his relationship with god is what matters the most that i got here from rejection to being sought after because of my relationship with god he didn't forget god though he was being sought after jesus forget god do everybody wanted so do you forget god because you think you are the best thing that has happened since sliced bread you want to be great submit it to god he's the one who can make a man great he's the one who takes a man out of the migraine and make them to sit among the princes oh god he made a vow to the lord he made a promise to the lord have you kept your promises to the lord or you forget it because you said that god if you can help me and god has helped you but you've forgotten me you forgot how you got to where you got you forgot how you made the money you forgot the one who kept you he said oh i didn't need god but he's gonna give you the bread that you have today look at this man he did not dwell in yesterday's victory so he still spoke to god he didn't say i have done this i have done this i've won this battle it did not it did not dwell on yesterday's victory for today's success it still sought the lord many are doing things today in their own strength you can do it in your own strength he made commitments and he made difficult choices he made a vow look at him i believe he must have weighed all that he was willing to sacrifice he says there's nothing i can hold up from or hold back from god at times our vows doesn't make sense but it's because of the way we believe in him and he followed truth though it was a difficult one it followed through with his vow many believers today don't follow through with their vows they make a vow they make a commitment to the building they make a commitment to do this they're going to pay their tights that god if you bless me i'm going to do this but they keep forgetting jeff has submitted though he was great he was being sought after he was a great warrior he was winning battles and you know when we said battles today that this was if you're a businessman you're selling deals you're making an impact in the society you you go and you you go out there you you you're able to close the deal on the contract that's the battles that we fight today you're getting promoted in your place of all those are the battles that you are winning today but you cannot forget him and so he must have read it he depended on god and he knew that god could give him victory that's so critical many people don't even believe that god can but they believe that god can give him victory that's why he made that commitment to god many of us we don't believe that god can give us victory that's why we stop being workers we don't want to serve him you understand we we we take likely the work of god we make commitment to our spirits exercise 5 4 says when you make a vow to god do not delay to pay it vows and commitments are real commit commodity today vows are broken every day people's words are no longer dependable can god depend upon your power and your words and your promise to him many of us at the beginning of the year i'm a pastor at the beginning of the year i'm going to work for the lord i'm going to walk i'm going to do this for the lord but three months four months five months six months down the line they stopped working because their expectations are not met they feel that once i say this is going to happen but there is a seed there is a time before you get the harvest seed time before you get harvest but during the time and the waiting period many people give up valves are real commodity today like i've said valves are broken every day husbands break their vows wives break their vows commit they make commitments without thinking about the consequences of it and the break out and say i can't keep it it was a difficult vow he made but he kept it jeff that did not think too well about israel because only his wife and his daughter could have come to meet him definitely not not a dog but he was tough but he kept that's what is critical in that place and then we could look at this story and say how could this story be like this but when you look at verse 40 we found out that his action of keeping the vow brought about what we call a legacy it looks like the story ended tragically but no he did not he left the legacy he left a memorial that's what he left many have great houses but they do not have any legacy many are rich but they have nothing there for anybody to point out to in the church that you are can anybody point out to what your legacy is let me give her the example there used to be a lady who used to be an usher and when she let people miss that way is that lady that used to smile people used to look up to her smile and i'm welcome that's a legacy that's a legacy that she left she might not have much but she had a welcoming spirit into the house of the lord she had a smile she used what she has to create a legacy what legacy what can they point to you know the story in the book of acts when when when this lady died you know who was making all this clothing where they called peter to come and raise her up the bible says that they showed peter all the things that she has made though she was dead and because the people thought how she wasn't the only one who died in that church but the people said we must bring the great apostle to come and make sure that this woman does not remain dead the question for you the question for me is is there any legacy we have left in our churches if we live will anybody remember us have you been a member of city of david you're just a snake that went over the rock that leaves no trace of itself let me tell you this there is nothing that god orders that he cannot pay for if god has placed you in that church he placed you in that place for a reason you are supposed to leave a legacy what department have you started what gift has got given to you that you are used for his work to say i see this issue in city of david and i'm going to try and fix it that's how to leave a legacy this is what he did he cost him a lot but you know what to leave a legacy is going to cost you it's going to cost you time ideas putting it together resistance from people but because you are submitted to god it's not about men it's about the one who has submitted to and that is so important that we all strive to live a legacy you know in the book of again one two you know one three it says that the work and the church of god is the legacy he said you stay in your arms in your syllables and you do all of those things but we leave the house of god will leave it wasted you know you want to be great do great things for god there is a law of sowing and repent do great things for god then you will reap greatness do great things for god so so your gift so your talent so your time for the lord and what you will then get is you will get greatness you will be empowered is the one who can empower you for greatness submit to him and you will surely find out that he will do great things for you so as we talk about the dreams the dedication taking responsibility you educating yourself uh having the right attitude getting motivated and submitting to god it's a principle that i've come to share with you and i pray that you will sit down about what area of greatness you want what dreams and aspirations that you want that you'll be able to say am i dedicated to this because how you know you're not dedicated is that when somebody comes with you guys that you go to somebody else comes and says you go to you know no no no no you're not you don't have any dedication to that have you taken responsibility for where you are you have to take responsibility for first for your life where you are it doesn't matter where you are we saw a man from rejection to being sought after take responsibility for every situation that has happened then start to educate yourself educate yourself this is the age of technology you can get everything somebody was saying the other day nobody needs to go to college again i said why he said because you can google everything educate yourself take advantage of education have the right attitude i started with attitude because all of these things is the right attitude because it forms your lifestyle it forms your belief system it forms the way you think then have a continuous motivation why because there will always be a position always going to be opposition it's never going to be easy don't forget the thing i said life does not give us what we deserve life gives us what we demand of it and it's motivation that makes you to demand it and s of course submit to god is the god that makes everything beautiful he's the one who can perfect our dreams he's the one that can make dreams to us instead of knowing that everyone that hates you is a stepping stone for your elevation so you're going to pray lord as i confront challenges and help me to know the power that has been deposited in me help me to know the steps you want to lead me higher help me to know that the movement that is about to take place the transition about to take place with every challenge with every father i is tonight in the name of jesus give me knowledge lord give me knowledge okay may the spirit of knowledge come upon me in the name of jesus christ i rebuke the spirit of ignorance i rebuke the forces of glory to god there is a problem in gilead there is a bomb in killian there is no area of brokenness in your life that god has not made proficient for there's none there's none there's none that's why paul said i will glory in my infirmity i will glory in my weakness for in my weaknesses god will make me strong if my infirmity the beauty of god will come up come on go ahead and pray tonight oh morning we sent him an email a text message and he responded this afternoon that it's too late and too difficult for him to give us another message so and so that's why he didn't minister it's not because he wanted to use him as a publicity gimmick and that's the reason why i hope i've made myself clear so that you understand why he was not able to minister tonight and thank god you know we had such a feeling that you know if i say he was going to minister for 15 minutes there's no way it would have been very exciting for him to come back a minute another 40 minutes so but we thank god for all things god works everything together for our good does somebody believe that tonight oh come on do you believe that tonight go ahead and say good amen amen so i'm going to invite um our sister she was she oh she's not sorry praise the lord is the lord i forgot this evening we're talking about a word in season you know you know god that is taking us we don't know where he's where he's taking us we don't know what is going on we think we're nothing we're the least but god instantly takes us somewhere our god is good and his plans his thoughts for us are thoughts of good and not of evil every it shall be given unto you it shall be giving unto you full measure press down and so i want to invite us all this evening whether you're in the house or you're online go on ahead and package your offering to the lord before you package it and put it in the offering i want you to say prayer send it forth as a seed and tell god what you want god to do for you because god is a god that walks suddenly he walks instantly i ever remember the story of saul in the bible the bible says that when saul got off the scales fell from his eyes and instantly hit straight away it says in king james he began to preach that jesus is lord that's the pattern that was crucifying jesus before babu tells us of david they sent him to one to go and and take bread to his brothers and right there god turned him to who we are reading about king david brethren what god is going to do for us we do not know but we know his thoughts towards us are thoughts of good and not of evil and his plans for us are good as we package that offering begin to pray begin to speak to the lord this my seed let it do this let it accomplish this in your kingdom let me be a pattern of impact too let me leave a legacy where i am in your church and my time on earth let it leave a legacy this is what the lord will do for us with our offering and we thank the lord let us pray um and on the on the um on the screens you will so you can put your offering in there but let us go on ahead and pray and pray for our offerings heavenly father we thank you for your word we thank you for you are the god whose thoughts towards us are indeed thoughts of good and not of evil you are the god that can take us instantly in the twinkling of an eye from nothing into something you are the god that can remove skills and make us what you want us to be and this is the reason why we just continue to follow you because we know you are good we know you are great father we have brought ourselves before you anything and any everything that wants to stand against us we thank you for your god the bible says when you arise all of your enemies will be scattered we hold on to this word as we arise this evening and we give unto your work
