good to you i can hear you has god been good to you did you have a glorious week i did come on stand up on your feet and begin to thank him right now begin to thank him right now hallelujah is worthy of our praise this is the first sunday in the month of october hallelujah just thank him he's been good to you he's been good to you i know it he's been good to you he was good to you in january god was excellent in february he was glorious in march hallelujah begin to talk to him talk to him that way father thank you thank you lord because you are glorious in much you showed yourself strong to me in april hallelujah we cannot talk to him like that this morning lift up your hands and talk to him i thank you lord i'm so grateful lord i'm so grateful lord make sure you are talking this morning it was your standby he was your provider in july hallelujah in july he was your provider [Music] in august he protected you in your coming and you're going he went before you and it was behind you hallelujah in september he promoted you legal so how many of us got promotion in september he promoted you in september hallelujah [Music] are you that one that came back are you among the lion that refused to come back they took the miracle and they went their way be that one that came back to give thanks this morning be that one that came back to give thanks this morning [Music] is hallelujah to pray that has his stance before us this morning if we stand as a horrible of god speaking the very word of god in the name of jesus you are going to declare that the word of god we feel his heart and flow like an endless stream out of his mouth in the name of jesus you are going to declare that he is strong indeed shall be like the pen of the regulator begin to speak that way begin to speak pray for pastor lift him up with your prayers this morning lay back to boston he will stand with boldness he will stand with boldness declaring the very word of god he will stand as the horrible of god merely but so he will not speak ordinary words his words will be inundated with the power and the spirit of the living god in the name of jesus he will speak as he is he will speak as yes mean [Music] [Music] praise the lord are you here this morning today is vision sunday okay i asked if we were here today is vision sunday put your hands together for the lord hallelujah this morning pastor is going to be casting the vision again god is going to be telling us what we what he wants us to do what is the next step hallelujah imagine god telling pastor when he started the church that is going to give him this kind of venue i'm sure he will have love like sarah loved when god told him told her you are going to have a child for god with god is glory from glory to glory hallelujah from glory to glory god is taking us another step higher and vision is going to be casted to this i want you to begin to pray begin to pray and ask god that vision will be plain before our eyes hallelujah if you have the scripture you can project it habakkuk chapter two verse two that's the popular uh scripture for visions if you haven't please project it said then the lord answered me and said write the vision and make it plain on tablets that they may run we read that they may run talking about you and i that we may run hallelujah and many of us are ready to run how many of us are ready to run with the vision how many of us are ready to wave your hands how many of us are ready to run with the vision you must be ready the vision is for you to run with hallelujah so begin to pray for yourself right now begin to pray for yourself that you will run and you will not get weary hallelujah begin to pray that way when god gives a vision he gives provision for that vision you are the provisions the men are here the materials to actualize the vision is here the resources are here the finances are in this house pastor has said that to us several times the finances to actualize the vision is you will also understand why we do some of the things we do why we do them and how we are going to be doing them because today is both thanksgiving and vision sunday how many of you are really ready to thank god today you really want to thank god and thank you for what he did you thank you for what he's doing and you thank you for what he's going to do even if you have suffered some losses trust me it could have been worse trust me it could have been worse a friend of mine very interesting he said to me um the you know md of one of these banks he said to me he said that if in 2021 you are still around and doing anything you made profit [Music] see if you're just around in 2021 you made profit how many of you here made profit this year come on let me hear you shout hallelujah to god hallelujah glory to god amen amen amen okay this morning we turn our bibles one more time to the book of luke chapter nine verse one and verse two we're going to read it over and over and over and over and over if you don't have a bible i'd like you to look at it on the screen it's on the screen luke chapter nine verse one and verse 2 and everybody is going to read with me everybody is going to read with me it's going to be an exciting and interesting service this morning want to go then want to go everybody then he called his 12 disciples together and gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure diseases he sent them to preach the kingdom of god and to hear the sake let's go back to verse 1. we read it over and over i told you one to go then he called his twelve disciples stop there say that again then then he called his twelve disciples and then what else did he do he gave them power stop there he gave them power let's go to verse two and what else did he do he sent them so number one he called them say that with me anybody who is not going to open his mouth i'd like you to will call you out there's no way we'll know if you knew of your mind because of the mask anyway so let's go want to go then he called them he called them he called them and then what did he do he gave them so say that with me he called them he gave them he sent them he called them he gave them he sent them look at the person next to you and tell them that the other person now look to the other person the other person now okay now we're going to personalize it we're going to personalize [Applause] and here [Music] and then the people to my flanks let's go you can hear soprano alto and praise the lord so he called them when jesus christ came the first thing he did after his baptism his anointing i told you this instead of doing the work of 10 people put 10 people to work instead of doing the work of 20 people put 20 people to work so what jesus did was that in order to ensure that this work is done effectively he called some people together he called 12 and i told him 12 is significant because 12 is the number of government is the number of completion 12 up 12 tribes of israel 12 apostles in the new testament in the in revelation there will be 12 foundations of the new jerusalem there will be 12 gates and 24 elders when you combine the 12 in the patriarch old testament and the 12th in the new testament 12 is the number of completion and i told you this i want you to remember i have that thought at the back of your mind if you're writing down i want you to write this if you are missing at any point in time god will get somebody else the word that god wants to do he created you for a purpose he put you on this earth to do his bidding his will if you are missing if you do not do it god will raise somebody else because that number 12 must be complete say that with me the number 12 the number 12 the number 12 the government of god must be complete unto us a child is born unto us the son is given the government shall be upon his shoulders christ is the head of the church and we are the church the government shall be upon his shoulders the government must be complete so he called them to be with him matt 3 13 he called those whom he wanted to be with him god has called you to be with him he called them to be with him number two i spent last week talking to you he sent them he he gave them he gave them power he gave them the holy ghost he gave them anointing he gave them the infilling because you cannot do the work of god with your own strength you cannot even though david had torn a lion and killed a bear when it came time for him to rise up to the primary purpose of god for his life to become king in israel god had to anoint him afresh so samuel came and anointed him with oil and the bible said that the spirit of the lord came upon him from that day on onward the spirit of the lord in the old testament the holy ghost came on judges on kings and on prophets but in the new testament every believer the bible said paul jesus said you shall receive power after that the holy ghost has come upon you peter preached in acts chapter 2 he said repent i believe in the lord jesus christ all of you and you shall receive the gift of the holy spirit the holy spirit you need the spirit of the living god either by the baptism with the evidence of speaking in tongues or by the consistent infilling paul said to ephesians church he said be filled with the holy ghost and not be drunk with wine only so there's an infilling that comes by the holy spirit so you need the gift of the holy spirit last sunday we prayed for some people i called some of you out here so that you can receive the bible the holy spirit how many of you came out here and you truly believe you received the birthday of the holy spirit how many of you let me see you come on where are the people who came out well none of them is in church today [Music] did you feel did you receive did you did you perceive it stella is not here before we started praying stella was already out in tongues you know she had burst out almost out of the gates you know i spoke to one of our brethren he said when i lay hands on him he felt like an electric current go through him even though he's not sure whether he received the baptism or not i'm going to pray for him some more because when you ask him faith you receive by from god or will somebody say amen so he called them he called you he called me he gave he's given to you and why did he do that why did he call why did he give so that he might send you put that scripture back on the screen he called them he gave them and he sent them to preach what the kingdom of god to preach the kingdom of god one translation says the young literal version that verse two it says he sent them to proclaim the reign of god the reign of god he sent them to proclaim the reign of god the good news he sent them to proclaim the good news before jesus departed this earth he gave the great commission in matthew chapter 18 you'll find that there in matthew chapter 18 verse 18 to 20. he said to them he said go out and preach the gospel matthew 18 verse 8 28 18 to 20. he said i want you to go out and preach he said preach the good news of the kingdom anyone i surely i said to you whatever you put matthew 28 please i'd like you to just stay with me i'd like you to focus now to listen who is there i'd like you to just listen with me please matthew 28 all power in heaven and on earth has been given unto my hands go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit teaching them to observe all things that i have commanded you and lord i am with you unto the close of the age the gospel of the kingdom or the message of the kingdom is the gospel the good news the gospel is simply what the good news when you come to god when you become a believer god does not just keep you on the show he does not just save you bless you anoint you give you a house give your family give you a thriving business what he does is that he anoints you and he sends you out the salvation army has it very well together he said we are saved to serve say that with me we are saved to serve god sends you out he sends you out he sends you out and that's important because i want you to understand this you see light is useless in a place where everything is lit up light is only useful in darkness right so we are the light of the world we get said we get born again we're saying the four ones of the church but god does not just keep you in the church on the shelf he sends you out to go out and be the light to shine to be relevant to be useful to be a blessing to bring healing to bring deliverance to bring solutions to open doors for people and to proclaim consistently and continuously the good news god sends you out and so we as a local church we have been sent out and you must understand that act chapter 1 verse 8 you shall receive power after that the holy ghost has come upon you that you may be my witnesses my witnesses in jerusalem look at that in jerusalem first and then in judea second and then in samaria and then to the ends of the earth jesus was very strategic as it itemized the areas of their influence jerusalem was the area of their primary locality their primary territory you will be my witnesses in the area of your primary habitation some of you your jerusalem is your office some of you jerusalem is your family some of you jerusalem is your village some of you jerusalem is your apartment complex i remember when i entered the university i i preached to everybody in my room if you went to that great university ife you know and you stayed in angola hall i stayed in jail where do you gratify people here come on you guys make noise why are you quiet on me come on encourage me great event okay that's a joke that's a joke forget that greater london i stayed in jail six i make sure that i preach the gospel to everybody in my room because that was my jerusalem that was my jerusalem i bought each of them a daily devotional in my hometown i spoke to everybody in my circle of influence that was my jerusalem and when i started going for lectures i spoke to the people in my in my faculty the people in my in my in my department there were times when during lectures i would get to the classroom to the hall very early and i would walk out to the front of the hall it was not an easy thing i would have spent almost all night or two days praying and fasting just to have the courage to do that and i would stand in front of the classroom and i would speak to all the students that was my jerusalem so the area of your primary habitation is your jerusalem and then put the scripture back it says then to judea to judea judea was bigger than jerusalem was the province you are going to be my witnesses in some in jerusalem in judea out of the area of your primary influence so you go out beyond your boundaries beyond your comfort zone if i may use myself again as an example if you don't mind there were times when i traveled by bosses i remember i would travel from lagos to the east on luxurious bus i would make sure that the moment we go after our rail after everybody has eaten i walk up to the driver and tell him to turn down the volume of this of the of the music i would stand in front of the boss and preach to everybody while in lagos even when i was practicing medicine when my car broke down and i had to take public transport from time to time i would sit at the back of the kombi bus and preach to everybody in the bus jerusalem judea beyond your comfort zone times when i will go to the hospital and i will preach to everybody oh not everybody now the people i could do within the times the time particular time so you go out of your comfort zone you'll become a witness for christ and when i say preach it's not just what you say with your mouth but how you live your life oh come on do i have a witness here how you live your life because somebody said that your life what you do says speak so loud that i can't even hear what you're saying so how you live your life as you go around the fragrance of your christianity as you go around the fragrance of your commitment to christ is permitting everywhere and people want to know your lord can i have that scripture about please jerusalem judea and samaria samaria leave the scripture up and samaria said samaria returns were not friends with the jews there were there was this tribal um tribal disagreement between them so you remember when jesus christ went to speak to this american woman in john chapter 4 the woman said you are a jew i'm a samaritan why are you talking to me they were not friends so you go beyond the people who are your friends the people who are within your tribe because there are some of us the only people we hang out with are people from our tribe now is good in marriage is good in meaningful long-lasting relationship but not good for the purpose of preaching the gospel because everybody must hear the gospel because you know why because finally on that day the bible said that every tribe every nation every nationality every race will be gathered before the lord glory to god so now you're going to be the americans you're not just going to be the mexicans not just going to be the afghanistan or the britain every nation every tribe will be before the lord so we go beyond our comfort zone to the samaritans the people who are not our friends and then to the ends of the earth some of you have actually reached the end of the earth am i correct those of you in america considering where you came from this is your end of the earth isn't it [Music] so while you are here you are preaching the gospel while you are here you are living out your life i want you to understand when i say preaching the gospel i'm not just talking about just preaching i'm talking about your life your testimony so what must we do in john chapter 4 verse 35 the bible says jesus said this john chapter 4 verse 35 he said i want you to not say that they are they still four months and then comes the office he said behold i send you out i said look lift up your eyes and look he said the fields are already white for harvest the fields are white for harvest people want to commit to god there is a hunger in the hearts of men there is an emptiness in the lives of people forget the mascaras forget the gliese and the glamour of hollywood and hollywood and all the woods put together all of that for some of them is a cover-up you remember when adam and eve sinned the bible said that god came looking for them and god said adam adam where are you adam said we heard you coming and we covered ourselves with leaves because we're naked and god said who told you you were naked so many of the people the things they do they are using leaves to cover themselves they're trying to find the glory they're trying to find protection they're trying to find joy they're trying to find satisfaction they're trying to find you know contentment but our hearts are restless somebody said until the racing guard so look at the fields the fields are right the fields are white they are ready for harvest so what do we do we want to partner with god to take on the kingdoms of the earth [Music] you know when the devil tempted jesus it took him to the high mountain the bible says i mounted and showed him the kingdoms of the world and he told jesus if you bow down and worship me i will give you the glory of this kingdom because they belong to me and jesus rebuked satan i cannot worship you i'm the one to be worshipped he was offering jesus what already belonged to him he says i'll give you the kingdoms because the kingdoms of this world is the kingdom of our god will somebody say man the kingdoms of this earth now in popular um social science there are seven mountains seven places of influence that influence culture that influence society that influence our thinking our philosophy even our dressing some of the things we eat some of the things we buy seven mountains the mountain of religion the mountain of family the mountain of government the mountain of entertainment the mountain of education the mountain of media and economy so we as a church in order to help fulfill the mandate of god to take the gospel to every nation is that we must position people in these mountains of influence so that they can impact the world and change the culture and change the thinking and win people for christ as a church that's what we must be positioned to do and so that's what i want to talk to you for the next few minutes few minutes about what do we do as a church how do we take on this mountain can i help you can i have the clicker please how do we take on this mountain how do we take on this mountain we are going to see and that's where i'll be sharing the vision of the church so that you see how we as a church we are positioned how we are strategic how we are being tactical how we are not just doing things anyhow and i'd like you to listen this morning and for those of you watching online i'd like you to listen i will only say as much as i can say publicly and some things i may not say publicly because we've got to be strategic but i want you to understand that we are not just zombies in this church no no no we have been strategic and tactical the things we do and so i want to tell you why we do the things we do what we do why we do them and how we do them go back to the to the beginning of this life can i control it from here can i back back to the very beginning okay so no to the beginning can i control you from here please ah i'm controlling it okay [Music] good good so what are we about the the theme the the purpose of this church our proper statement is making disciples and raising leaders can you say that with me please everybody open your mouth and say one more time making disciples for christ not just any disciple we are making disciples and raising leaders so how do we what do we do we make disciples we raise leaders that's what we are about and where do we do this all the nations of the earth all the nations locally nationally and internationally and i will show you how locally nationally and internationally i told you here on one occasion when we're 5875 a guy came to church and during the praise and worship and so he was excited he was dancing after service i walked up to him just to ask him inquire who he was and the guy told me that he came from russia and that while in russia he was watching our services so now he was excited to be in the place where the service was taking place to participate in the worship in the thanksgiving he was excited if afgh ended not only afghan i have received calls outside this country of people who watch our programs the other time i got text messages actually there were text messages an email from ghana we have a live following in ghana a live following in kano particularly our movie our you know movie a light following in kanu what was that one 1832 where shaydee hollywood city woods city will start you know so we are ministry making disciples and raising leaders all over say that with me say that be excited this morning and how do we do it we are going to occupy make an impact on the seven mountains of influence what are those mountains i've told you economy government politics family media including social media arts and entertainment education and religion those are the mountains so now i want to start strategic positioning and equipping arts and entertainment as an entertainment is a platform by which we want to redefine social narratives with the good news the narrative of the society we want to redefine that with the good news the gospel look at what somebody said he said the industry talking about the entertainment industry influences society and culture dramatically it influences the way we think the way we live the way we eat the way we dress and even the purchases we make people keep up with the style of a show a film a book an album even youtube channel i want to be like them they even want to own their things that the star owns so that they can share commonalities with their celebrity hero i remember i did not know it but i think kim kardashian she came out with some toy was it a toy or something and i was told that that thing was out in us girls were falling over themselves buying them i remember visiting one of our church members who said that the daughters both the daughters bought that thing why because it was produced by who kim kardashian [Music] if i was produced by joe tarkon [Music] despite the prayer and fasting who would have touched it so there's power in entertainment let's not play with it the more i study because i'm studying now voraciously i see that there's power in entertainment there's power and i will be a fool to ignore that the movie stars they have influence they can speak to a greater number of people that i may per time and that's why when i look at some of the great crusaders billy graham um i can't think of some other person now why they use them for commercials and so in city of tv what do we have we have um we have uh some of our okay i'll get back to that so we want to use this platform to redefine society we are going to invest we are going to be aggressive about utilizing this platform sorry city of david we have tsunamis we have uh doctor pictures right um during um um afg there was this movie the actor what was that movie now um bed of roses right come on talk to me now libra i told you we tracked our advertisements we looked at them i noticed a large following from kanu and i tried to figure out why do you know what i found out you see this star you see this style there that shay harmony when we advertised it on facebook he was the one whose face was prominent you see the kind of cat he's wearing you see that cup what cap is that it looked like another now so the northerners were in love [Music] are you following what i'm saying because i was curious i wanted to find a canon i run a radio talk show program and when i get called from the north i it's difficult for me to understand how they speak so i can't understand the english very well but i was curious why was it that we had such a light following from cano i realized that it was because of the man was projected so we have dogs appear so we are going to be doing a lot of movies a lot of movies oh come on you guys are so quiet [Music] [Applause] i'm already having meetings with writers with people who can ask some of the one of the popular actors in nigeria i didn't know him because i don't watch i had the word just nigerian movies not because i don't like to but i don't have the time came here walked in here walked into my office and said pastor joe anything you want i am here for you i'm going to do it for you i didn't know him he was actually in miami he was doing a shooting in miami so when they told me he was in my i didn't know who he was so i thought it was he came here robert peters was the one who introduced me to him and i think shalom um they introduced the guy to me i didn't know him so they are offering they are already offering i mean i don't want to be mentioning names here now but we are in contact with some of them we are going to act movies these movies are going to carry they're not going to be necessarily christian movies there will be good movies godly movies that will redefine society and point people to the lord amen somebody you know when you think about the book of esther the book of esther did not mention god anywhere but at the end of it he pointed everybody back to god so we are going to be strategic in that regard just like our library just like our bed of roses amen so the things you people are doing here you think it does not matter it matters and it's making an impact look at our toxic truth when this our children don't they bring down the glory of god [Music] you know it did not start with the children it started with they were all married women because i remember when they were dancing if i remember well enough one guy came to church saw them dancing and he said is any of them they are available i say all of them are available just go [Music] inform i was one of them you know cynthia was there you know a couple of them like that cynthia used to be in the choir tian carol they left the choir to focus on our dance troupe then dogs our voices are one and only glory to god dogs and verses [Music] [Applause] so i say this so that when we make investment into this department you are not wondering why there's a reason the people the world listens to them and i pray to god that someday when we are here let me just tell the story you know when i was going through my immigration issue somebody was sent from immigration office one field officer to come and interview me so when he came i had brought out flyers brought out everything kept him in six seven six seven so he entered my office asked me for financials i gave him all my financials as the man was walking out he saw a flyer on the table what was the flyer jazz concert when we had a jazz concert he said oh you guys do just i said yes we're two jars serious jars [Applause] [Music] a man spent time talking about just concerts and he said the next time we wanted to just let's invite him by the time he got to his car he said he's going to write a report and send it to immigration if they contact me again i should redirect them to him he will answer all the questions because of jazz concerts nice concert in fact when i went to court when i went to court the judge that funny story if you don't mind as the case was going on the judge looked at me and he said oh you're a pastor i said yes he said do you have a choir in your church he said do you guys have keyboard i said yes we spent the next five ten minutes discussing choir he jealous back to this back back where we so so these are the things we want to do i think i'm running out of time now economy economy we want to empower and want to empower our people to make wealth and so yeah for instance we have 3100 event center we have turning points which is our welfare and outreach unit platform we we use outreach turning point and from next year january the face of turning point is going to change because we are really targeting some shelters and we're going to be reaching out to them dramatically we have redeemers medical center some of you don't know we have a clinic in this place we have dynamics world whole effective um highly effective offices welfare now dunamis world is our children's church we're investing into children's church because i've realized people do not buy houses because of the hospital district they don't buy houses because of the police prisons they buy houses families that have children they buy houses because of the school district so we want to invade into dummies world we're putting some money we have a games room we have a 3d room right now then you go in there you watch 3d movies with all the glasses all the effects the sound effects and all of that jazz rasmus we are really remodeling the place so that when our children walk in they feel like they are in disney or dave and busters and they get excited and they want to invite their friends amen redeemers medical center how did we set your redeemer medical center when i came initially those days before the immigration policy became very tight many of our people who came from africa were going to grady hospital for treatment so i was very much like the campaign of grady i was always going there to to pray for sick people and all that and then the laws in georgia changed and they tightened the policies they made it difficult for people to come in there and get treatment and that was how i was praying god told us to start our own clinic so that when our people come they can get treatment when our people come they can be catered for and by the grace of god it cannot only be a clinic by the grace of god it can develop to become a full-fledged hospital it can develop to become a medical school where we can train doctors and allow some of our doctors who are having difficulties finding places for internship to come in there and get trained when somebody saying glory to god that's how we started medical center and redeemed us medical center people's life have been saved in the riemann medical center i don't see before we bought a property we're investing so much money in rmc we rented a facility and people were coming there for treatment i remember one woman we have it on video she came in she had never been to anywhere she's not been to the hospital for a long time lost her hospital insurance she had a good car um health insurance had a good car walked in there her blood pressure was hitting the roof paula destiny was the um um director of the place then called the ambulance for her and that woman outside the picture of that woman got treated when some of our members were complaining the pastor you are spending too much money on the advanced medical center i looked at them and i said wait a minute if that woman was your mother if that woman was your sister if that amount of money would fail with strength to keep her alive was it too much tell me was it too much it was not too much and she doesn't have to come to city of david but by the grace of god if she enters the kingdom of god and we go there jesus will look at us and say i was sick and you took care of me do you understand what i'm saying i was naked and you clothed me that's what turning point is there to clothe the naked to feed the hungry so we create jobs through the event center so some of you who are planning ped desks and all of that rent event center keep the money in-house we create job creation we hire members to make it easy and some of our people you know why and you know how to allow their soft landing and get them integrated in this place several opportunities for our community impact and we run services by the grace of god we are praying that redemption rmc a redeemed medical center and uh event center will become such a conglomerate that we can hire 300 members 500 workers who will be working and you will be paid well it will not be a voluntary job oh somebody excited here this morning that's about the economy empowering you to have money empowering you to be potent and with the economy we do other things we do training and all of that to empower our people next one education endless possibilities for global influence we have redeemers academy we have a school that has registered redeemers academy we're not there yet but by the grace of god we'll start the school very soon uh dunamis church tournaments paul's we are doing huge education in dynamics church in tournament sports in paul's deuteronomy church and the post um paul's church we are shaping the minds of these children we are shaping the minds of our teenagers so that they can learn godly values so that they can learn the proper values and so that when they get out of this place the seeds we have planted in them they will go out there and leave out the purpose of god systemic systemic systematic discipleship of people from all walks of life and i told you i personally run a health health a health education program in nigeria in nigeria is it's been under all the 36 radio stations in the country right now it runs in new york runs in in lagos and we are expanding expanding it into other african countries inviting her with dr joe takan what's the goal to help people get the necessary information that would help them make wise choices and make good decisions regarding their health over 70 percent of non-communicable diseases are caused by life life choices so if people learn the right thing and they make the necessary modification to their lifestyle they can live healthy spend less money on doctors less money on on hospital fees and less money on hospitals so that they can fulfill their purposes on earth to the glory of god so some of you who may want to invest in that go ahead come and see me after this and give me your contribution and we'll put it in the work glory to god okay family we've done a lot of serious uh relationships journey uh i've taught series on journey to towards marriage men and women's ministry are building that they're expanding that because the family is a basic unit of the society so we want to teach our family and strengthen the family as single people we treat them the right thing and how to make right relationships or right choices even in their pursuit of getting married and getting getting settled of course media oh come on media the gateway to everything media media media i don't have too much time now to talk about media but you see some of the things we put here the cameras we are investing in the light the wall very soon we're gonna have a um um um a video wall why are we making this investment because now for instance you know the gospel goes all over the world this service has been watched in russia it's been watching the middle east he's been watching europe he's been watching africa we want to ensure that the platform is conducive and excellent for good coverage and good reporting amen we are going on radio by the grace of god we are going on tv too so social media the the various platform of social media instagram um what youtube and what else twitter and snapchat we are going into all of that now the reason why i'm telling you so that when you see this investment when you see or say we are spending so much money to buy these things it's not wastage it's strategic planning do you understand because of where we are where we are going and what we are doing and then government equipping people for governors building partnerships and relationships so that some of you may want to go into politics to the best of ability either locally nationally or internationally will do our best to support you to train you to help you establish network to teach you some of the value system that you need to be effective and then locally we encourage everybody to register and to vote because we can determine the outcome of elections we choose people who represent and who protect our values and protect our interests [Music] hallelujah so oh gosh spend so much time so how i did not talk about religion and that's where we are as a church religion discipleship channels remember what's our what's our proper statement if you if you don't remind me what's our proper statement uh making disciples and raising leaders that's our proposed statement making disciples and raising leaders so we use these channels which i'll show you in a minute how to develop disciples how to raise leaders okay religion which is the church religion itself is some kind of arcane concept religion is actually the search for man the man searched for god but us it's not about religion it's about relationship when we bring you the good news he transforms your life so when you become a believer how do we develop you as a disciple let me show you that we use these channels disciples discipleship channel evangelism we established churches direct evangelism and indirect evangelism some of the things i've already talked about you know doctor joy evangelism international missions both medical missions and international missions in i mean africa mission board of trustees africa mission we built a borehole in equatorial guinea i went to cultural unit twice to supervise and to commission the borehole i'm supposed to supervise the work in mozambique where we are trying to build a school under the african missions um on the african missions platform but we as a local church we support those endeavors just recently we bought public address system pa system equipment for the church in nigeria we bought those things for them in in the us we support local churches we support pastors we helped in haiti i was in haiti we established the church we paid the rent in haiti only recently tango north america is taking all that button off of us but we used to help them pay the rent send money there for their sustainability and their sustainers so international missions local missions so direct eventually indirect turning point july 4th thanksgiving dinner hallelujah night to name this world why do i mention that so that when you come to july 4th celebration you're not just coming to come and eat and dance and play ping pong you understand that you are coming there as an undercover agent for the lord as an evangelist to help people find the fruit of the cross am i communicating to you this morning so those things when we do them we're not just doing oh in july 4. hey let's go before i come to july 4th me and leadership team we pray we fast so even when i come in there you see me sitting down there playing ping pong playing soccer running and doing the sacrifice we are doing it under the anointing of the holy ghost that by grace of god somebody will find christ do you understand so do not miss world we are praying that that place will be a place where life should be transformed the other day i was sharing a story with some of the some of our leaders and i said when i was growing up i gave my sunday school teacher problems i was good i could act i could recite and i was just restless one day the man got angry and threw me out of his class let me come and check me out today i'm a gospel preacher glory to god come and check me out today so what we do in that place matters the people who are volunteering there they are not wasting their time and when we ask you to volunteer there you are not wasting your time you may miss the service but you are making an impact when we ask you to give because all of these things we are talking about is money it's your money the offerings you give here one day one of these guys came to ask me he said pastor joe how are you doing these things you're not raising money that much but we know these things are costing money the offerings you give every sunday every friday every tuesday every wednesday is your money that we are using for these things and guess what god is a god god manages and he rewards equitably there's no way god will be rewarding me for preaching he will not reward you for contributing go ahead and clap for yourself [Music] [Applause] growth institute on tuesday we are having um class 101 growth institute actually an institute we are praying that by the grace of god will become a major platform through which we are doing multiple levels of training you know um while foundation class there sod is the closing system is there you can see that foundation school of discipleship house to house still worship so leadership development leadership empowerment channel is still worship when you serve here as an osha you serve like these young guys who are handling these cameras i was telling my son the other day i said i want you to come to church he said but i come and there's nothing for me to do i said sit down in the office i said you learn discipline how someday when you wake up you're working in an office when there's nothing to do you don't run out and go and go coffee you learn discipline you learn how to be restful rested and to do your job all of these people you are learning still worship you are lending accountability to god yesterday i came here uh early to pray and i saw some of our sisters they were they were cleaning the place they were washing the place they were cleaning the toilets i was so proud of them and you know this morning i was watching the announcements and i noticed that the only people who were making those announcements we're ladies where are the guys respectfully can i ask all the men to just turn on your feet stand stand let's clap for you [Music] all the men if you if you're a man and you don't stand will not be sure who you are maybe he she if you're a man and you did not stand we'll start looking at you again so please clap for all of this men [Applause] [Music] and look at them and say thank you for what you do sit been doing some of this so now i brought this to an end so what is your rule number one i want you to pray say that with me jesus said pray because the harvest the laborers are few pray that god will send liberals i want you to pray number two i want you to enlist as a volunteer god has a question whom shall we send and who god for us god is looking for people he can use whom shall we send who promote city of david channel kobe bryant is dead stop promoting him promote city of david okay and then give to the work of god faithfully give prayer volunteer oh no yeah volunteer enlist as a volunteer then give because some of you may not have the time to volunteer by virtue of your job schedule that you can give you can pray you can pray [Music] because some of you have the capacity to give more than what you are giving right now i spoke to one of our members here the day worker and i told him i was going to share this in public at he came to see me on the conversation just started bam and i asked him do you tithe i said pastor i don't tithe right now i said why he said i have a lot of things i'm doing in the village [Music] i say really i said you are robbing god you are using god's money and giving to the village cover it's not right [Music] if the members of this church dies what is died john said it ten percent of your income believe in me if sixty percent or seventy percent of our members in this chair tied i will never have to come here any day and say let's raise a special offering because somebody was asking we had the board of trustees meeting the other day and somebody was asking a question oh do we save and i said listen my mother brought me up and taught me how to manage money well you know all my mother's children she will tell you he's gone can manage money well we manage money i mean if we don't manage well despite the pandemic let me ask you this despite the pandemic how was it that we were able to pay off a loan of eight hundred thousand dollars we paid it cash how are we able if we don't manage the money well so i move money around sometimes or money around so if you're worrying it's about management go to sleep you know why i'll tell you this if you don't mind me sounding personal i've sacrificed too much as a person to get to where i am sacrifice too much i'm not going to mess around now with money now so i want you to pray to volunteer and to give so that this work we can do it well by the grace of god when all have been said and done guess what god will look at you and say well done my good and faithful servant you are not the preacher you are not in the choir you are not an usher that you are good because you supported the work from your own position and despite your limited resources may god bless you upon that lay their crowns on your altar lay their gifts on your altar laid their skills lay their capabilities they come in brokenness they don't come with eagles they come in brokenness they come in brokenness they will say like paul lord what would you have me do father send us judgment oh god we ask you today father we ask you in jesus name we pray in jesus name we pray one last prayer point i'd like all of us to stand on our feet you're going to say lord give us the resources evil resources resources are not just financial they are material they are intellectual they are skill resources a social media platform we want competent people who manage it who run it with skill you know when the internet started rewarding said this he said when the internet started his church was the first church to be on the internet he said one of his members came to him and said i want to put your church on the internet he said what is that now before anybody heard about the internet is it possible that you have some skills in this house or you're listening to me on our platform you have some skills and god wants you to bring that skill to the house so that we can use it for the global glory of god pray that god will send us those resources human resources material resources financial resources they are great singers in this church we want great singers skillful singers in the music ministry we want you actors we want you in the music ministry oh come on pray pray pray pray pray father we ask you today in the name of jesus christ of nazareth give us the resources father give us the and i think this was actually the second time that question had come up where somebody asked about one of the platforms um that is not shown on our platforms here regarding our giving now we went in and dug in a little deeper and we actually discovered that some people have given to us through that platform before and the funds will actually transfer straight into the the church's account but for now until we say some more don't use that platform please just use the platforms that we we display here just use the platforms um zell sms cache app and www.ah and online and online you want to know what platform i'm trying to tell you not to use it and you're asking me to tell you that's what will stay in the head of some people you see if it's not here don't use it right now if it's not your new uses but if you ever used it but don't worry if the money actually went into the into the church's account we discovered that two of our people had actually registered um those platforms on our the holy spirit we dedicate selma zenua to you in the name of the father in the name of the son and the name of the holy spirit and aloha are your man know in the name of the father the name of the son and the name of the holy spirit and we ask you the lord you will lay your hands on these babies like you laid your hands on john the baptist and samson on jesus christ lay your hands on them let them be moved by the spirit of the lord that they will leave out their days to honor you we cover them with the blood of the lamb and we pray father that the enemies of hand will not rest on them in the name of jesus christ that because of your name father you will bless them and you will bless their families in the name of jesus once again we use them as a point of contact single people role in the vision that i have articulated here today now god will show your rule number two you're going to pray that god will send us laborers that god will send us laborers number three you're going to pray that god will send us resources for the work that we are doing you're not writing down i hope you have it in your head and then number four you're going to fight against the demons and the powers that may want to fight against this vision i want you to rebuke them leave the blood of the lamb against them and tell them that they may try but they will not succeed okay that if this vision is from god god will make you come to pass amen you know god is faithful god is faithful god is faithful glory to god let me tell you that again number one you pray that god will show you your role in this vision number two that god will send praise volunteers number three that god will give us resources and number four push back the hand of the enemy that we want to fight against this
