want to share with you a little from god's word from the writing of saint john the first chapter and i'll read as many as 18 verses and raise four questions with all of us under a particular theme saint john chapter one the words are in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was god the same was in the beginning with god all things were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made in him was life and the life was the light of men and the light shineth in the darkness and the darkness could not do what comprehended it not there was a man sent from god what was his name the same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men through he might he was not that light but was sent to be a weakness of that light that was the true light which lightened every man that cometh into the world he was in the world and the world was made by him and what happened what a shame he came unto his own and his own did not do what but to as many as receive him what happened for them even to them that believe on his name you're working the scriptures with me which were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of god and the word was made flesh and do what and what happened the glorious of who full of what my god almighty this thing is rich john bare weakness of him and cried saying what the john cried he that cometh after me is perfect before me for he was and of his fullness of all we receive and grace for for the law was given by who but who gave grace and truth glory 18 together everybody no man had when did you saw it do you have a memory of what transpired at a particular time when he came in contact with you in acts chapter 9 the apostle paul could tell us word for word he could give us a ball by ball our blow-by-blow description of what happened when he first met the savior in a particular way he could tell you that i saw his glory i felt the manifestation of his power and it affected me in ways more than one are you not with me or you're writing down okay he could tell you that so that's what that's the question we are asking are you able as a believer who have been serving the lord for whatever period of time are you able to give an account a description of how he appeared to you well that's question number two question number three would be how has it impacted your life we're talking about the glory some of you writing these questions down it's wonderful you can study them and apply them some of you could care less what i say here sorry for that anyway and finally what will you tell others about him is there a story that you have that you can tell others that will be convincing enough as philippu found nathaniel and said to him hey guess what happened we found him who have you found we found the messiah of whom the spirit speaks he came out of galilee and what was philip's response can any good thing come out of that little place and then the evangelists say don't just stay there and speculate come and see do you remember what the woman in john chapter 4 said to all the men in the city what did she say to them come see a man who told me all the things i've ever done is not this the christ come see him what story you have to tell others that will convince them enough that they come to church with you and even if they do not come to church with you they find a place of worship and surrender their life to jesus christ god somebody should praise him with me [Music] i repeat question number one have you seen his glory when did you saw it how has it impacted you and what will you tell others about him i won't belong so don't worry the glory of god according to john's writing chapter 1 and verse 14 was revealed to all those who were at a particular place at a particular time and having said that i won't just run over to matthew chapter 17 and especially the first five verses when he took peter james and john up into the mountain we call it the mount of transfiguration which is the mount of olives and you open up some more of his glory unto them oh praise god peter james and john who had walked with him hit with him and all kind of stuff with him traveled with him on board and shipped on land in the garden here and there they still needed to see some more jesus said i will not leave here until i show you some more of myself glory i feel the anointing begin to touch me here jesus lift your hand and say lord i want to see some more i want to hear some more he wants to show us some more of himself he wants to tell us some with me please no big big deal here today do i have anybody in this place who sometime or the other in your life through a consistent prayer life maybe in fasting and prayer and you're down there before the lord and the glory of god hit until you be you can't be afraid do i have anybody you literally get psyched afraid jesus when that realm of divinity touches upon humanity can't take it you got scared and you look around yeah that has happened to me so many times as an old matured christian i got scared us a dear god please glory this was what happened for peter james and john when that are things have been going in jamaica that many churches have begun to recognize should i say many or some some churches have begun to recognize that the church is really one foundation are you not saying nothing and the elitism that existed among some those who think that they have the patent on the gospel and everybody got to look to them and look like them and do like them excuse me please you know i'm talking the truth everybody's need to look like them and do like them and go like them and say like them some have begun to wake up to the reality simon peter woke up in acts chapter 10 when he went into a gentiles man's house with his family there gentiles and jews jews gentiles were considered dogs the scum of the earth but when jewish simon peter saw god baptized the gentile in his house with the holy ghost prophet peter said no i know that god is respecter of no person but in every nation and kingdom tongue those that fear it him and work at righteousness is accepted with him anywhere you are when you fear god and work righteousness god accepts you as you come through jesus christ somebody says something down there say something down here so we seem to have all kinds of fold these days many many falls many many shepherds but the day is coming jesus bring us together before it comes lord when we can see you as the one shepherd and see the church as the one fold regardless of denomination and doctrines and creed and culture the christian church i'm talking about that believes in jesus christ somebody clap your hands if they are free and give him praise and glory in the house of god [Applause] one fold one shepherd one full one shepherd what a something it would be if heaven had to have boundaries demarcations segment partitions and you look over here recognize all of that somebody give him praise one more time give him praise again down here but let me digress a little what is the glory of god you see god is in a superlative form all by himself and that word is saying good better best you don't get beyond the best are you with me somebody so he is in that form all by himself he occupies a position that no man can enter no man no man wave your hand and say no man he's in a class all by himself he is infinite was we are finite being given praise he is perfection while we are imperfect in his perfection oh glory to god he his greatness he is glory he his power he lives in majesty he has dominion over everything and everyone he has strength he has might he is all in s minus nothing o glory to god and besides all of that is beautiful for every situation somebody shouted praise there beautiful for your situation beautiful for my situation glory to god give him praise and glory [Applause] prayed with someone yesterday by telephone in another far country in europe the doctors gave over to die but we can't do nothing more for you stage four cancer heating up the person and they say all right go man die spoke on the telephone and i says god is beautiful for every situation and he who raises the dead he can heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease am i talking the truth to bring back the dead to life that's a great miracle to find life to put back into the dead corpse and bring it back to life that's a great miracle so if you're alive wise there is life there's hope so he's beautiful for your situation whatever it is a marital situation he's beautiful financial situation he is beautiful physical situation he is beautiful mental situation he is beautiful spiritual situation he is beautiful for all our situations somebody praise god in the house with me glory psalm 48 1-2 says great is the lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our god in the mountain of his holiness yes he's beautiful for your situation is the joy of the whole earth is mount zion on the sides of the north the city of the great king oh praise the name of jesus give him praise and glory give him praise my second question when did you saw it and this is so personal to all of us i could relate some instances of my own life and ministry when he showed up and i saw it my experiences are not yours everyone needs to have your own experience with god or you're not saying anything sit down in this church until your bottom warm and you don't touch him you don't touch nothing yet hallelujah come here from a babe until himself for a particular reason when god showed up to abraham and sharia at that time it was a time when everything was out a walk and it seemed as though the promise would not be fulfilled angels said you're going to have a son and sharers said sarah laughed but when god shows up for a particular purpose time can't change it circumstances can't change it people can't change it politics can't change it religion can't change it bishop bar helder can't change it on minister cannot change it let them try hold it on as much as they think they can hold you down when god lift you up no hands are strong enough to hold you down when god raises you up no hands are strong enough to hold you down no hypocrite bad enough to set you back somebody praise the beer no conniving people can't stop it but
