338 Lapua vs RMA Level IV Armor

hey guys welcome back to the moon channel so today we've got an RMA armament level four plate that we're going to shoot with a 338 Lapua so this is a tile design on the inside of this plate I'll show you guys the label here so you can check it out so it's a level 4 plate which typically level four is one round of 30-odd 6m to armor-piercing this plate has actually stopped five rounds of 30-odd six MTU armor-piercing so they've got a it's not a one-piece ceramic design on the inside I guess it's like a bunch of smaller pieces that are tiled together so that when one round hits it doesn't shatter the entire plate so we've got some pretty partisan ammunition here this is 338 Lapua Magnum 250 grain Full Metal Jacket once again we've got the savage 110 BA we got gene out here to take the shot again and then way down there or I'm going to guess something like 50 we're about 50 or so yards back we're going to take the plate down set it up try and anchor it a little bit and then put a round on it and see what happens guys there's the RM a level 4 plate you can see the entrance there where the 338 Lapua made a huge hole try and kind of show you guys up in there you can see the different plates like there's the corner one there and there's a corner another one there so it probably did break you know break several of them and see the big big bulge in the back of it so significant significant back face deformation but no penetration like I said that was a 250 grain 338 Lapua Magnum alright there's the damage from the second 338 Lapua shot kind of try and show you guys up in there so you can see what the inside of the plate looks like and the two shots are really not that far apart you can actually you know there's like space in between them they're just trying to hold this up so you guys can see it I show you the back face deformation similar size maybe just a little bit bigger on that second shot because it came through a little bit easier you guys can interpret that back face deformation however you like you know some people have the opinion that if that hit you in the chest it would do a lot of damage and some other people think that uh you know it hurt might knock you down but wouldn't kill you so let me know in the comments what you guys think if you took that shot or maybe two of those shots while wearing this plate I think you'd live thanks again to RMA armament for sending me the level 4 plate very very tough plate probably the toughest level 4 plate that I've shot especially considering that it took two of those 338 Lapua rounds and you know didn't fly all apart and fly into pieces and stuff so as always thank you guys for watching the one channel and we'll catch you next time
