[Music] it was a friday night i was 16 years old at the time my parents had just left for a business trip and i was left to take care of the house i decided to invite my friend jake over for a sleepover jake arrived and we both played video games after a while we started to get hungry jake suggested that we take my mom's suv to get some fast food i thought this was a great idea we left the house and started driving to the local mcdonald's as we left my neighborhood i started to hear weird clicks coming from the engine after driving a few more miles the car suddenly shut down i coasted to the shoulder of the road and put the car in park i asked jake well now what jake glanced down the road he said look down the road to the right there's a car dealership put the car in neutral and we can push it the rest of the way i thought this was a great idea i put the car in neutral and we both stood behind the car and started to push i occasionally had to run back to the driver's seat to correct the steering after what seemed like an eternity we finally made it to the dealership in about an hour they fixed the issue the only problem was we didn't have the money to pay for the fixes the manager told us that they would keep the car at the dealer until we came back to pay i pulled out my phone to see how far of a walk it would be back to the house my app said it would be one hour i asked jake if he wanted to just walk but he didn't want to he said there's too many sketchy neighborhoods let's just get an uber i agreed and we requested the uber this is where my experience got crazy the uber picked us up like normal as we got a few blocks away from my house the uber suddenly stopped he said he couldn't go any further i said what do you mean you can't go any further the uber replied sorry guys you'll have to get out right here jake raised his voice to the man we're only a few blocks away from the destination what is wrong with you the uber didn't say a word there was silence in the uber i said come on jake let's just walk home we both got out of the car and slammed the door shut the area where we got dropped off didn't have any homes there were dense trees surrounding both sides of the road just when i thought my night couldn't get any weirder about 30 yards ahead of us was a tall muscular man with no hair he had a scar running down his face and had a creepy grin he was just standing dead center in the road staring at us the man started running towards us jake and i took off running the opposite direction we both ran towards my house we got to my house and locked all the doors the man started banging on the door all of a sudden we didn't hear anything my relief vanished when i heard glass breaking jake and i ran up my stairs and locked ourselves in my father's study this is where he kept all his tools and weapons we took his rifle and hammer preparing ourselves for the lunatic we heard footsteps coming up the stairs the footsteps stopped right in front of our door the man started to stab the door with his knife i raised the rifle my hands shaking out of control i pointed the gun at the ceiling and fired a warning shot after the shot rang out the man sprinted down the steps and out of my house we called the police and the man was later arrested still to this day i wonder if my uber driver and the crazy man were connected i may never know hi my name is ram and i'm from india during my 20s i lived in a small town i had just been appointed as an employee of a government organization i didn't have much money at the time so i chose a cheap small house to live in a couple of people at my office asked me to not stay at that house other employees offered to help get me out of my living situation and into another house i thought this was very odd no one told me the actual reason to vacate the house all they said was it was very old and not a good place to stay my manager would often visit me at my house and chat with me late into the night sometimes he even brought me food i thought this was all bizarre and i wondered why he was doing it at night i started to hear strange music it sounded like folk dance music from festivals i ignored it thinking it must be from a dance institution where i live it is common to have traditional dance places where people can learn to dance one day i was feeling very sick for no reason i laid down on my bed and went to sleep at 2 a.m in the morning i heard noises and opened my eyes i saw the silhouettes of two men dressed in all black one was holding a huge thick cane in a position to hit me one asked the other are you sure this is the guy that has to die the other replied i am not sure shall i kill him i was frozen and in shock i didn't know what was actually happening i blacked out the next morning i woke up in a pool of sweat i stood facing my window thinking about the incident that had occurred the previous night i was confused whether it was real or just a dream that's when i saw something that made a chill run down my spine through the window i saw three lifeless bodies appear on the ground i blinked and they were gone i was now sure that there was something wrong with this place i got out of the house as soon as possible a year after the incident took place i met a neighbor of the old house he finally told me the truth about the place he said the house was occupied by a family and they were all murdered after that incident two other families lived in that house and were also murdered the real estate agent fooled me into taking the house and no one wanted to tell me the truth for fear of scaring me even today that incident makes me shiver [Music] since i was a kid growing up on the rez i used to hear weird stories stories about skin walkers water babies and goat men i always thought these stories were made up and i passed them off as ridiculous tales that was until something happened to me it was around 1am i had just finished playing games with my brother and cousin we were all about to go to bed when my brother remembered it was trash day since my brother took out the trash the previous week i volunteered this time i went outside my house and grabbed the trash can as i started rolling the bin towards the road i noticed something standing behind a light pole it was a tall skinny black figure with a large head it continued to stare at me it slowly started walking towards me while still looking at me when i made it to the road it stopped and continued staring at me i immediately turned around and bolted back to my house i ran inside and told both my brother and cousin what had happened my cousin started laughing at me he went outside to go see it but it was gone there was no evidence of a creature besides the sounds of dogs howling and chasing something down the road the next day people in my town were talking about this tall black thing but nothing was ever found i hope to never see that thing again thanks for
