3 Event Tricks You NEED To Know in MASTER MODE Terraria!

the end game events in Terraria can be tough in master mode with tons of strong enemies swarming the player that said there's a few powerful tricks we're going to look at in this video to massively power up your character in events and get all that loot quickly and easily how's it going crew this is Happy Days and welcome back to our Master mode Ranger challenge the first trick requires us to take out mobs as quickly as possible and earn their banners which means we have to maximize our classes damage potential as a post-plantera ranger we've just unlocked the launcher class of weapons which do incredible explosive damage in an area of effect and the Truffle is just the NPC I need for this the Truffle NPC requires a surface level mushroom biome so I'm going to explode this underground one and move it to the surface I'll also need tons of shroomite bars which need a lot of glowing mushrooms to craft so I set up a glowing mushroom farm near his future house that I can Harvest later on next we need to max out our HP and collect clarified ore and thankfully both are found in the jungle together clarified ore is used to craft shoemite bars and I need at least 88 through my bars so I might not about 450 ore and collect the live fruits as I go then I visit the Truffle to purchase the auto hammer and harvest all the glowing mushrooms ready for crafting that could base I convert all my clarified bars to Streamlight bars and then craft the shroomite armor and all three ranged helmets I also upgrade my rocket 3S to mini nukes for a big boost to their damage and blast radius with our upgrade sorted and Buffs ready we start the Pumpkin Moon in expert in master mode you may have noticed that even the trash mobs do an insane amount of damage and are quite tanky this is why our first goal is simply to get the banner for each of the non-boss enemies by defeating 50 of each of them mob banners give you a whopping 200 damage increase against them and make you take 50 percent less damage from them making banners one of the most powerful Buffs in the entire game the next trick is to trap the trash mobs to stop them moving around so much this is easily achieved by digging small pits in your Arena and leaving one block overhang each side as their AI can't figure out how to jump around them leaving them stuck in the pit to help build damage to them you can add lava or traps to the pit as well but note if you try and get the loot during the event you'll take a lot of damage in the process with the basic mobs under control the Boss Loot is now a lot easier to get my hands on oh we got the witch's broom yes okay this is going nicely we've got our pit trap set up we've got our banners starting to roll in we got it all happening people and a lot of you are recommending I get this witches broom uh so I don't need to oh my gosh happy no no uh so I don't need to be relying on wings and Boots so much so yeah two more accessory slots does sound kinda nice because yeah eventually I'm gonna have even more like damage accessories so it looks kind of cool indeed now the other things I really want to get is the stake launcher and the uh what else candy corn rifle as well so yeah it's just gonna be a matter of getting those other banners and then just keep grinding like pumpkins and morning Woods it's pretty slow going but eventually I grabbed the highly requested steak launcher am I ready for another boss fight uh here we are in the desert ready for another boss fight and I'll remember to put my helmet on I keep disappearing oh my gosh so we've got our stake launcher a lot of people are asking me to use it and uh damage goes up because of our shroomite armor and it seems like it shoots pretty fast so I've caught some Prismatic lace wings I thought we would try uh the emperor so let's zoom out and uh let's get ready to start this battle boom okay it's go time people so I've got my buff weapons on the left as always although Nano bullets aren't going to do much against Empress okay so I'm not quite sure what the weapon to go is here now State launcher might be okay I don't know if it's any good it probably stops oh no I'm getting destroyed holy moly she is doing so much damage tank launcher are you even working I don't even know okay oh no no no no no no no no no no no no oh gosh it's okay just don't panic happy it's gonna be fine no it's not gonna be fun so we do have our new witches broom uh that might help oh no yeah nice nice happy nice oh it could be cute no oh my gosh ah this is hard determined not to give up I decide to try farming for a jungle key to get the piranha gun biome keys will drop from any enemy that drops coins as loot so a good way to farm for keys is to summon King's slime and fight all the slimes it summons with that many slimes being destroyed the key soon drops and the piranha gun is gonna be ours oh my gosh I got a jungle key yes oh gosh that's so awesome so I had the idea of I wanted to try the piranha gun a lot of you have been asking about it and one of the best things to do is Farm an enemy that spawns lots of minions uh in the biome where you want to get it and King Slime is really good at that so yeah I sort of came to the Jungle with a few slime crowns and I was just sort of using my uh Dart pistol so it spawned off the Siamese and then yeah I was just sort of taking them out because I need gel for my uh flamethrower anyway so yeah it was kind of like two birds one stone ends on the thing and we got our jungle key so you know where we're going next oh my gosh I'm so excited to get this I never really used the biome weapon so this is going to be kind of fun so oh gosh Bentley get out of here crazy thing all right take some pumpkin power there we go beautiful oh gosh okay there's the desert one hey Summoners in the chat do you guys like the was it desert tiger staff or I can't remember what it's called yes there's a jungle chest okay oh my gosh whoa It's good demonic uh some people are saying in the comments like I've been really lucky getting unreal on some of the modifiers um it's not quite there but hey it's pretty good so apparently this has been buffed I'll just favorite that uh so let's give this a go oh wow I've got slow on me so apparently they just like latch on to mobs whoa that's doing some nice damage wow check it out and I guess I because we've got the stream right helmet on it shouldn't boost the piranha gun I think it's counted as a launcher so yeah it's kind of nice I don't know how it's gonna go against Empress but I'm kind of excited to try it still so yeah eat some bats there we go let's try it on these mobs all right you got some more mobs around uh yeah it's pretty good all right we'll get uh I'll get my Buffs back and let's try another boss fight well guys this could be a complete disaster but I'm kind of excited to try it still so we've got our nice piranha gun and a few d-bombs and we'll see how it goes so I also I made uh an asphalt Bridge uh which is what I generally do for Empress because you really need to be moving nice and fast against her so yeah let's get rid of those possessed armors let's get our Buffs on let's give this a shot people oh my gosh I'm so excited all right you ready let's throw this out and boom all right so I should try and Peg it with some debuffs I guess uh I don't know if she's immune to toxic looks like she is so we need to get piranhas we need to get a piranha party going here I don't know if they're gonna reach her it's hard to tell uh can they even reach her I don't know oh hopefully I I wanted to use this anyway if this is a complete fail I I'm okay with that okay I think they're attached to her yeah it looks like it are they doing damage I think so yep they're on Earth they're on her okay this is good all right yeah yeah I should just look at the the health bar if it's going down we're in business okay so yeah we're doing some nice damage all right I just need to focus on I don't think I'll worry about debuffs too much I don't think I'm out out okay uh I don't think I'll worry about swapping because if you take the um piranha gun off I've got to try and re-aim it again so yeah okay so far so good it's doing some nice damage yeah check it out got it down to 80 000 already all right keep dodging happy I should probably just keep running actually okay I think I might die but it's it's good it looks like this is a feasible strategy people feasible strategy it might work okay let's watch out for that no don't get that happy don't get the happy beautiful beautiful all right so she's about to get a second form I think uh should be very close has she gone second floor or is that daytime she go to second form I don't know I haven't bought okay here we go so this is oh goodness oh goodness no I forget how to do this part oh my God okay how long up here 15 seconds okay we can do this people you just gotta uh this one you go in like a loop-de-loop don't you yep no no we can do this oh come on it was so low ah once you get your piranhas attached to the empress the fight is mostly about dodging and making sure you keep your weapon button held down to keep those piranhas attached to her oh my gosh she's down to like six thousand no not this one I hate this one [Applause] get away from me yes we beat him with it with the piranha gun [Applause] that is so insane get out of here Marvin ah that is so cool it's actually it's kind of weird like it's hard to keep them attached to her but once you get them on her it yeah they sort of stick on so yeah it was kind of awesome but we got our treasure bag we got our Relic we did it like Veronica so fun anyway we're looking to get the even type I think it's called Eventide uh I'm just going back to our corruption base here uh beautiful next to the toxic sign say are you ready let's put our let's put our nice Relic down first three two one boom I didn't get it I got soaring Insignia we got the under unhappy Starlight I think this is like the really fast attacking one yeah that's kind of fun oh my gosh so yeah I'd have to find more of it ah I really want to get the even tied though ah yes lovely we have our nice new Empress Relic to go with our other ones and as you can see I have made some changes to my main Arena as well we've got our nice lava pit and we've got all the good stuff we've flattened out the ground I've got my box on we've got a nice area here to put the banners and as you can see I have a naughty present in my inventory and you might see I also have the Eventide I really wanted to to give it a quick go some of you were saying it's pretty op I haven't really used it before to be honest um so look I did just want to give it a quick try if it's broken we won't use it but uh definitely want to try it so I thought what we'll do in three two one [Music] I missed it is try a little bit of frost Moon and I also wanted to say gamingweek how have you enjoyed it we are on our seventh day I said I would upload for a week straight and do a live stream on the weekend I haven't done my short yet I still need to do that but uh how have you guys enjoyed it smash the like button if you've been having fun with it oh wow this Eventide is pretty cool oh my gosh it's just like piercing everything but as you can see guys we've got like the nice lava pit and it's so useful when you're doing an event uh because yeah it keeps these like little Trash mobs out of the way especially when you're trying to fight like the ice queen or the boss monsters it makes it very handy oh my gosh I'm taking a lot of damage all right let's go back to our debuffs what's this at never screen okay let's get some debuffs on it beautiful Venom all that good stuff get some of our tactical shotgun so oh my gosh I'm dead already no oh my gosh happy get into action here we need stake launcher Stakes are good against trees aren't they they're doing oh it's not not too bad it's it's a hard weapon I think I think what we really need to do with this stake launch yeah check it out it's actually not too bad everyone's like get stake launcher get stake launcher but yeah I think it's it's not bad yeah I think I really need to do like it's a more in-depth like weapon videos and check stuff out but uh yeah gamingweek I've had a lot of fun it's been a really good challenge like uh like going back to like the old days when I used to upload every day um yeah it's been kind of fun I've been really trying different editing stuff uh a lot of you thank you to the people who left comments like uh saying you know you're enjoying it or you like the different styles so I'm doing a bit of an intro and then we're mixing it up between post commentary and live commentary um so yeah I really love experimenting on YouTube and trying different stuff um but yeah like let me know all your thoughts about gamingweek in the channel have you had fun with it banned that one actually I need to zoom out as well oh gosh I've got a razor Pine oh that is such a good magic weapon I love razor Pine but doubt I also wanted to say to you guys I really enjoyed beautiful oh okay there's a bunch of Hearts here lovely dude I drop the minigun but we're not gonna use our demonic oh if I got unreal again that would have been crazy I'm actually a bit a fan of this pump jack-o'-lantern launcher as well a few of you said in the comments last night you were like oh this is pretty good I think what I like about it too unlike the other explosive weapons it doesn't damage you when they explode nearby so like all the rocket launches and stuff damage you pretty badly ah oh gosh no more dying come on we need jack-o-lantern power so what's gonna happen from here so as you can tell we're getting near the end of the series uh now we've had our seven days of upload so I desperately need to have a day off now I'm a little bit tired after all this editing and stuff oh but I hope you guys have enjoyed it uh so we'll get the ending I don't know if we've like got one episode or two of this to go we're very close but I still have a few events to do still so we'll see how we go uh but yeah that will probably come out in a few days I definitely need a quicker break first present Mimi ah I'm dead again oh my gosh I'm out of all my Bob potions and an ice cream and Spoon and the ice queen has spawned oh do you know what we need we need piranha power where are your ice cream you're gonna get some piranhas Goose there she is okay oh my gosh I need to zoom it out and then I can actually oh there she is yep we got piranhas on piranhas have attached there we go all I need to do is keep dodging now maybe this is the secret to piranha power yes okay I could do my own piranha parties now this is so fun all right there we go beautiful so how about if we got the snow snow balls no man it's snowman Cannon isn't it I always forget names okay I accidentally detached the Piranhas not good not good they're not they're back on they're back on okay just keep moving happy there we go I kind of want to keep her in sight so I can see them look at all the hearts yes okay beautiful hearts are happy very nice indeed where have you got where has she gone oh my gosh I can't even see it ah oh there she is okay get some piranhas unto you there we go we'll have to wave 12. very nice all right oh no no no no no she'll despawn if I die I think I can't move no all right I think all right maybe okay there she is yep yep keep dodging oh I need those Mitten things no okay yep come on we can do this it's almost morning I can see the sky getting lighter yes we took out an ice queen there we go what did we get oh please let's stop oh my gosh that's okay at least we beat an
