USELESS or OP? This weapon is CRAZY in MASTER MODE Terraria!

the pumatic horn was introduced in Terraria 1.4.3 and is dropped by the deer klopp's boss this weapon fires random objects with each object dealing a random damage multiplier that goes up to a whopping 200 damage increase but is it weak or op let's find out in this video how's going through this is Happy Days and welcome back to our Master mode Ranger challenge as we've already defeated Skeletron our first mission is to collect bones for their necro armor the necro armor gives a nice boost to our range damage in Critical Strike chance so is worth getting next we begin to prepare for our dear klops battle by fishing for frost minnows Frost minnows are used to craft warmth potions which reduce the damage from frost enemies by a whopping 30 next I use a bloody tear to farm a Blood Moon I'd like to get a second shark tooth necklace to craft a stinger necklace for even more damage reduction which is helpful in master mode I also stopped by the queen bee to pick up the honeycomb for the Stinger necklace while I'm here I buy the blow gun from the witch doctor for a damage upgrade over my blue pipe back at base I craft a set of necro armor and upgrade my goal bow to a tendon bow we also make our warmth potion and we're just about ready for the deer clubs the last thing I need is to prepare a sandproof arena for our battle ah our arena is ready and we are almost ready for our deer clubs battle but I just need to set my spawn point so I'll just put this bed down here and perfect okay that worked out pretty nicely and uh big thank you this is another one of our community builds made by Rufus c c I can say names probably thank you so much I love this little snowy house and perfect timing too because we are about to fight a snow boss okay people here we are in our arena for the deer clubs and I've done a bit of reading on the wiki and you've left me comments apparently with the Sand Gun if you put things on the platforms and stuff that sand can't like land on uh it stops sand going everywhere so hopefully that's kind of cool so let's get our Buffs on and we have a deer thing are you ready three two one boom okay it works I wasn't sure if it was gonna work all right oh my gosh there it is okay whoa whoa okay it's uh it's a little whoa there's hands there's hands and I barely fought this thing I've realized I think oh is it going Invincible or something hang on let's just fly over you a bit well the hands okay uh let's see so let's get our debuffs on I don't know are the javelins sticking in it yeah well this thing has a lot of like debuffs and moves and things like that okay so we're gonna hit it with some sand oh man this is crazy all right so the sandal yeah you can see the Sands like I should be worrying about the boss not the sand but the sand is like Landing everywhere else so those hands keep getting me okay let's get more debuffs on it beautiful beautiful it's not shaking up the debuffs when it goes Invincible is it okay there we go wow those hands are kind of cool you've got to like worry about dodging those and we've got our new blow gun although it is a little bit slower I think but it's mostly just to apply the debuff so all under control all right should I try some of my blood rainbow yeah actually that's probably nice as well because I'm trying to like Dodge this thing okay this is kinda going well so far but we are hoping for the pumatic horn I really want to try this out uh in the spirit of this challenge where we're trying all the new stuff how is it slowing me down when I'm in mid-air you crazy deer clubs thing I don't even know all right we'll get some more javelins in it that will surely make it happy all right this is going okay no no I'm getting stuck and a little bit of sand got out oh no okay there we go let's keep using our stand beautiful okay so if you stay back wow I love that ice attack that's awesome holy moly okay this arena is actually not too bad for it I was just like hmm I wonder how I should design this but yeah this is kind of a good size it's working quite well all right beautiful fly over here I don't know when you're actually supposed to fight the eclubs do you do it before Skeletron you do it after this is a sand caught in the tree oh my gosh how did Sam get in the tree I don't even know but here we go we've almost got rid of this deer clubs and here we go wow we'll fly over here if you hold his hands everywhere okay it's getting angry it's getting angry people all right let's get some more sand into it that is hopefully gonna make it nice and happy and we have taken it out and I got the achievement you can tell I haven't put it before there's no achievement oh my gosh okay we got our nice Relic okay we can go put that in our new house no the exit's blocked okay get out of here you smelly fan all right beautiful let's get rid of that we'll go into our nice house can I put the Relic down no can I put it under the house there we go nice no I can't even go there can't put it anywhere I'm getting so angry oh my gosh all right that's fine we do have our treasure bag are we gonna get pneumatic horn first try three two one boom yeah I got it oh my gosh that's so awesome I'm getting so excited oh my good news okay this is cool all right so apparently it like does it use bullets or something I don't know what it what does it use okay it's using our bullets and it just buys lots of random stuff out of it this is so cool I can't wait to try it out oh my gosh we've got so much to do but we might make for the next day let's go with our new weapon secured it's time to prepare for hard mode so I get started by digging a hellevator to the underworld we even run into some lava on the way down so I might have some obsidian now in case I need some later on ah here we are we've made it to the underworld and we have our nice elevator ready to go and oh my gosh there's stuff everywhere get out of here crazy mobs I don't even know but uh we have a nice shadow key that we got in the dungeon and hopefully there's a chest now okay beautiful all right I just need to dig my way through here there's not one in there okay beautiful and we have our new toy to play with a pumatic horn uh I don't actually need any of the weapons from the shadow chest I don't think uh because the Halloween bow is banned um now a few people were also mentioning uh that they'd like me to try the quad barrel shotgun I think you get that from the graveyard biome uh so the arm stealer needs to be in Ecto Mist I believe yes another Shadow test beautiful uh no I know there it is hoeing bow not allowed to use it to op uh and to be fair I do use it like most the time anyway so it'd be kind of fun to try something else so uh if you didn't know the pumatic horn what it does is oh yeah fall in love a happy nice although we have a nice Obsidian Rose no I haven't City in potion active so that's kind of good yes another Shadow chest so if you look it actually fires lots of random items from the game and the different items have different like attack modifiers so I I think it can shoot like a day bloom or something which does like barely any damage like point one percent Point ten percent or something um yeah I'm saying percentages really badly there after failing miserably at math I continue looting the underworld to get some cash for reforging I still want to get the lucky modifier on all my accessories so we're gonna need all the loot we can get our hands on okay okay so some people are like happy happy you need to get the quad barreled shotgun and to be honest I don't know if we're gonna like use it heaps but I have to be honest I haven't really tried it before um I've probably fired it like once or twice but I've never used it properly so what I think we'll do is let's I don't know if this is this gonna work this is gonna make the graveyard thingy uh I don't know if there's enough tombstones no I haven't done it properly there we go more tombstones fixes everything and oh my gosh it's the face monster let's get rid of you with our new Pew metal oh wow look at those damage numbers 60 damage and it wasn't even a critical hit I don't think yes quad barrel shotgun I got it yay okay so does it like just little oh goodness okay wow look at all the bullets bullets the best modifiers for our new weapons are unreal and thankfully the goblin gives them to me quite quickly I double check our accessories we'll have the lucky modifier for a four percent Critical Strike chance bonus and it's time for Hard Mode okay people we are zoomed out for this one we're back in the Underworld and I've set up a row of stones for our wall of flesh battle and I am excited to see how this goes oh my gosh is this a bad sign I'm getting a backup voodoo doll I don't know but anyway let's get our Buffs on so as you can see we've got our debuff weapons and then I've got my pewter Matic pure Matic pneumatic you know what I'm talking about and uh yeah and now quad barrel shotgun so hopefully this all goes okay as I'm getting like distracted by all the enemies oh my gosh the spawn right down here oh no way we got a deep inside oh that's crazy anyway let's get this party started in three two one boom okay oh my gosh so uh I don't know is it worth trying to debuff the wall of flesh I've got all my debuff weapons ready but it might be easier just to just a really go go ham with our pewter pure Matic pneumatic I keep saying it wrong so sorry ah okay yeah it might be easier if I just sort of hang back and Dodge the lasers uh let's see as soon as I know the hungry sort of inner expert and master mode it's not really worth trying to deal with the hungry he's like uh rather than just just sort of killing them for hearts as you need them uh with a heart Rich potion and that slime's after me I don't want lava going everywhere okay so there we go beautiful yeah it looks like the pumatic's getting to it oh my gosh I actually said it properly let's try a bit of our quad Barrel oh wow that is insanely strong yeah I'm going back to the Thematic so yeah so I just want to sort of look at the damage numbers a bit it I'm trying to look at the eyeball up here yeah you can sort of see depending like what item comes out of the pumatic it makes a big difference to the damage so yeah so far so good though this is going kind of well it's pumatic kind of strong I think quad Barrel is a bit stronger but yeah I guess it depends how lucky you get with the different items at sporting uh but so far so good wow I'm surprised what's my I've got 33 defense so it's not insane uh for this time of the game well I don't think I even need to worry about my debuffs guys no way is this gonna be first shot are we gonna get a ranger emblem come on oh don't don't get too excited yet oh no what am I doing oh oh my gosh no happy no not at the end no I almost got stuck so bad oh oh happy you crazy chicken oh and I never had purification powder for this guy oh my gosh I'm so sorry buddy well I can't believe we got Demon's size and everything and we got our Relic let's put that up there beautiful sorry let's see what is in our treasure bag are we gonna get Ranger emblem Clockwork rifle as well assault rifle I don't know three two one boom Oh My Gosh we've got Ranger emblem we are being so lucky with our accessories and Demon heart as well I will take that and we can put that damage boost straight in and make our pumatic even stronger wow this is amazing guys oh no way how did I miss a shadow chest there oh my gosh I don't have my shadow key on me do I oh well the Mysteries will have to lie in there for a bit longer but guys it is hard mode we've got lots to do let's continue on with the Wall of Flesh defeated it's time to power up for Hard Mode as this playthrough is all about not using op equipment I think it's time to try a different hard mode armor set oh my gosh we've got a blizzard people we have a blizzard which is what I was waiting for so let's get our Buffs on here we've got our water candles and I've got some battle potions and what I'm hoping for is not this silly bird in fact I should probably get rid of it um we want to keep this spawn slots for ice Golems to spawn oh my gosh we found an ice Golem it is here people actually I see I don't know what debuffs you can actually hit an ice Golem with so uh it looks whoa it looks like uh they deal a ton of damage holy moly uh run for your life happy run for your life we need some pumatic power here no don't kill me don't kill me I'm sorry okay what am I gonna do here this is so cheesy I'm sorry everyone I just want an ice cold what are they called ice core oh my gosh okay I'll just heal up a bit and then I'll return to the fight okay okay there we go I've got some health back all right back into the fight all right it probably can't climb back up now I'll cat it oh my gosh this is a travesty okay well I'm just gonna pew pew it in the head can it still shoot me I don't can it not shoot me anymore oh yeah I can totally shoot me it gives us a good chance to look at the pew pew damage all right check it out so we're getting like some 80s 160 damage that's nuts wow but you can see like some of the critical strikes only doing like eight damage oh there wasn't eight damage in there so oh my gosh I don't know what to make of this weapon is it good is it bad I can't even tell okay is it guaranteed oh no don't die happy yes we got one of the causes okay I got a frost core beautiful all right we've got one I need like three I'm thinking of making the frost armor I like never use it if you couldn't tell already um and yeah it gives like a good Frost attack oh my gosh the ice Golem's after my soul and I'm stuck out in the wilderness people I left my Arena and it's after me oh gosh but uh anyway guys we've just started hard mode and oh my gosh don't die happy no don't run into it either oh I want to in our live stream tomorrow I thought we would try recording some of our video live uh I've never really done this before and I thought it might be fun uh so yeah so let me know how you feel about that um maybe we can start to do a little bit of that moving forward uh but I'm looking forward to it anyway you guys can tell me what to do in in the live stream which will be kind of fun but uh anyway I'll finish farming up this I've got two cores I just need one more uh so we'll leave that there guys likes and subscribe all that good stuff get ready for our live stream and uh here's the
