I Beat Terraria Master Mode Without a Class

today I embarked on a journey that is probably my hardest challenge yet I have beat Terraria with most the classes with a challenge I beat range with no guns or bows I beat the game with only short swords on Calamity mod I beat the game as a mage with only one Mana star today we are doing no class classless damage you may have seen a video by Terrace deal called terraria's classless weapons and items this video goes through all of the items and weapons that deal damage without a class there are very little weapons and items I can use but I can use anything that does classes damage that includes Minecarts that includes accessories all of them the only ones I do not allow are bombs and I only use lava for stuff like events also I did it on Master mode so I start off my world and cut down some trees as per usual I can't use any of my weapons I threw away my copper short sword and May basically I just have to dodge these enemies and hope not to die there's a desert to the east of the world it is covered in Crimson so that means I can't really challenge it because there's face monsters and stuff like that so now I head West instead which on this side as well there is a desert but there's some enemies and I can't quite kill them now I can use NPCs to kill enemies I did let my guide kill a slime so that I could get some torches which allows me to explore some caves now without a weapon this is really hard but I am looking for one particular weapon in these underground Caverns that is one of the only weapons I can actually use over my first chest and it has a set of Hermes boots in them which is really good but it's the one and only time where it is not the best item from this chest I mine some oars like Platinum I then make a full set of cactus armor not only because it's defense but also because it applies a Thorns bonus whenever an enemy hits me it inflicts classless damage to that enemy so now this is the only way I can kill enemies by throwing myself self at them I kill a vulture with only two Health remaining but we've killed our first enemy the fact that this is Master mode makes things much harder things do so much damage I do die a good amount of times I then forcefully was sent home I die die again find a life Crystal find some more find a magic mirror Find Another Life Crystal I am not getting the weapon that I want you may know what weapon I want and you may be thinking how the hell am I going to pull this off yeah I was thinking the same thing and another death another death and another death and another death and another death I've died 20 times at this point here's a quick Montage of me dying find a glowing mushroom biome with a couple of Life Crystals find a trident which I equip only for the movement speed in the water and some shoe spikes I am not getting what I want the one time I actually want this weapon the one time I don't get it and I die again and I die again and I find some Hermes boots and I find a magic mirror and finally I make it to a granite biome with a chest and it has the flare gun now it's the angler gun because I have a texture pack it makes the guns in the game turn into fish but it's a flare gun one of the only weapons I can actually use in this playthrough is the flare gun possibly the worst weapon in Terraria it does two damage but it lights enemies on fire so it is good for just lighting an enemy on fire and for lighting up areas but that's about it it is the most atrocious weapon ever designed it is so bad there's only one other option that I can use so I make a full set of platinum armor and I go to test out my new flare gun I start shooting a face monster and it only does one damage not two one this is probably because any enemy with any sort of defense will take one damage so the two damage thing doesn't mean a whole lot it's normally one and I also put flares everywhere which is very ugly I then make a little arena for the Eye of Cthulhu because what else is there to do I'm as ready as they come I go down into the underground desert until I find a bar statue the bar statue increases defense for the Eye of Cthulhu fight I also realized that this big pile of sand is shaped kind of like a triangle so I start digging down and yeah there's a pyramid I find myself a Magic Carpet I craft some potions I also make a Thorns potion so that is something that will inflict damage but the only things that I have that do damage are the flare gun and the Thorns potion so I summon the eye of Cthulhu with a flare gun and a dream and I am doing very little damage one of the main things I'm fighting here is time I have to beat this boss before it's daytime with only flares now since I have so much defense I do purposely go into the Eye of Cthulhu every now and then so that it takes that Thorns damage it only does around 10 to 15 damage to me so it's not that bad my Thorns does about 40 damage so I keep shooting it with my flare gun just hoping to do some damage the fire held the burning of the eye does do a bit I guess but this thing is 4 600 health and I'm doing one damage to it in hindsight I should have utilized the thorns a bit more which eventually I did kind of start to do and then I have Cthulhu gets the second phase so now I have to actually Dodge his dashes now a fallen star almost lands right onto the Eye of Cthulhu and while there's no rules against that I mean that's just nature doing its part it would have helped a lot would have done like a thousand damage or something the eye keeps dashing at me like a madman I need to make sure I'm keeping my distance but also doing that Thorns damage image keep shooting that flag on at him and then something very bad happens that I was a bit scared of I reached the projectile limit the problem with the flare gun is when you use it it shoots a projectile that stays for a long time because it's a lighting Source but this means that there is a lot of projectiles in my world and there is a projectile limit in Terraria So eventually I reached that limit and I could no longer shoot my flare guns I had to wait for my flares to actually despawn which they were doing but kind of slowly I started to panic but I thought I can use the Thorns to do damage I started just ramming into him hoping that I don't die hitting him with my Thorns and then regenerating a bit I hit him some more with it and he hits me one last time and the Thorns did it it killed him that was insane that was so close but we actually beat the Eye of Cthulhu with only a flare gun as a weapon in master mode Terraria does it get any more insane than that so now I can get my second weapon there are technically three weapons I can get but one of them is absolutely awful the Eye of Cthulhu drops Crimson seeds which allows me to make Throne water or blood water it's crafted with 10 bottles of water one Crimson block and one Crimson sea that makes ten of them now the problem with this weapon is it spreads Crimson I then log out and log back in to reset the projectiles I do have to do that every now and then just to make sure that my flares have reset and that I don't reach the projectile limit again and then a goblin army decides to come so a very painstakingly attacked the Goblins I had to fight them with flares which was not fun to be honest not fun at all eventually I do defeat the Goblin Army now I didn't allow myself to use bombs because I thought they'd be too easy I wanted to use these obscure crap weapons eventually I find the goblin tinkerer who I buy Rocker boots and tinker's workshop now that I'm full health and have an extra Life Crystal I go to the edge of the world on the jungle side to try and find the eighth biome which I eventually find pretty easily and I consume my vital Crystal the dryer then moves in who is very important for this playthrough but not white yet I then accidentally summoned the brainer Cthulhu a little early and I ended up dying because I have like no Arena but then a Blood Moon Rises which is very important because the dryad sells Crimson seeds which I can then turn into my blood water which is my best weapon and then some blood moon enemies murder my dryad the whole reason I wanted a blood moon is now dead absolutely devastated I then spent way too much time in my life waiting for another Blood Moon and then I make sure that the Droid cannot leave the house and I buy some Crimson seeds these are expensive they are 450 silver per seed so I spend all my money buying 364 seeds I then realized how much I actually just spot but it's fine because it is what I need the most so now I just need some sand and some Crim sand to make the throne Waters but it came kind of occurs to me just how much sand I truly need because it requires 10 bottled water every 10 bottles of water you need 10 sand so I need a lot of sand but a great thing is that I am in the Crimson which means that the blood water won't spread Crimson because I'm already in the Crimson I set up an arena for the brain of Cthulhu and I summon him ready this time to rumble take him on John who's boss pull his pants down when he's unaware I'm using my blood water I only have around 800 of it but I can also use my flare gun it's not gonna do much damage but it does set things on fire at least so now all the eyeballs are dead and it's just me and the brain and there's three other companions Illusions I'm sure they're real to him but a great thing is that the flare gun actually sets the right one on fire but it does not set the illusions on fire so as long as the brain is on fire I actually know which one is real so with that knowledge I am able to single out the brain the blood water does enough damage to kill it not amazingly it's not great damage but it's more than the flare gun that's for sure and eventually I killed the brain of Cthulhu that wasn't so hard I killed it with full HP I then found some more sand and made some more blood water I thought the Eye of Cthulhu again just to get some Crim team ore also I'm not using the Eye of Cthulhu Shield normally I would use it for a dash but I'm not using it because it's melee damage and I don't want anyone to say that my run is disqualified because I use the should of Cthulhu yeah I'm not using it so be quiet nerd I then headed to the underground desert to find the golf NPC to get my third weapon we don't have to talk about this weapon it is absolute garbage it mows grass and if you're moving and run into an enemy it'll do 8 damage so basically you have to be on the ground for it to do damage and you have to be moving it is it is very bad I'd rather use the flare gun than this now there are just random patches of crimson around my world like in this jungle it's just Crimson now that the jungle mud can actually turn Crimson so by some purification powder so I can kind of negate it but head down into the underground jungle and after finding some cool things and some chests that I probably will never use I find a beehive and that is my next Target the queen bee she's actually very important and you'll see why but I take a quick detour to hell and after getting a fire Blossom I make an Obsidian Skin Potion and dive into the lava it's like a spa day for insane people and I get enough hellstone bars to make myself some molten armor Air Max and a lava proof bug net now there is a reason for this I do want to do some lava fishing for a certain potion now Tara still didn't mention that potions actually do classes damage I mean it makes sense to me I'm pretty sure that these potions do classless damage there's also the Inferno potion which just sets things on fire that are near me and does damage to them so I'm lava fishing for some obsidi fish and some fliff and koi lava fishing takes ages I don't know why but eventually I'm able to make the Inferno potion and then make a slime crown and summon the King Slime here's an example of how bad the lawnmower is it only does three damage to the King Slime but yeah I said the King Slime I use some blood water to do some damage and after a few minutes the King Slime does fall to me but he doesn't drop the mount that's the only reason I afford him I then head down into the underground jungle and start creating an arena for the queen bee this was very annoying because the underground jungle is obviously a mess and the enemies are super annoying and my weapon selection is not very good I either use my expensive blood waters which I have very limited of and I don't want to use too much or I use my flare gun and after laying the inevitable let's fight the queen bee can we defeat the queen bee on Master mode with classless weapons obviously I use my flare gun and blood water I have my bar statue I have all my Buffs that I can get including my Thorns and Inferno potion but thank goodness for the blood water because it actually does decent damage I am able to do around six to ten damage it's it's really not that good but I am lighting her on fire any other damage the queen bee deals to me directly is inflicted back to her sorry due to my very high defense with the molten armor and emotions I'm able to tank enough hits to kill the queen bee and she dies in a wall from her flesh melting does she have flesh but now the queen bee actually dropped something that I really wanted and it's not a hundred percent chance of dropping it is the honeycomb accessory the honeycomb accessory releases bees when you are damaged and it does classless damage perfect but I have to take damage to deal the damage I then combine it with a panic necklace to make a sweetheart necklace that also inflicts the honey buffer me whenever I'm hit it is also boosted by The Hive pack accessory which is an expert mode accessory from the queen bee and as you can see the damage from the bees is actually quite good especially for how little damage I do right now I restock on all my potions that I need I did some fishing and some honey to get some honey fins which heal for 120 Health then the Goblin Army arrives again I've already defeated it I don't care I set up a lava pool so that I can kill him it's technically classless so it's fine the Goblin Army Falls to me a second time the next boss I want to defeat is not Skeletron I have never actually fought this boss at the right time of progression but it has an accessory that I want so I go down into the snow biome until I can find a flinx and get the fur and then I make the deer thing headed over to the snow biome and summoned deer clops now I don't really know how to fight this boss this boss is still kinda new to me it was pretty difficult I don't know its attack patterns I don't know what I'm doing with the fight I don't know why he goes purple sometimes I assume that's because I'm out of the snow technically even though I I think I'm in it but I don't know or maybe I'm too far from him it's one of those two but basically when it's purple I can't hit him is Invincible but I think he sticks around even if you uh die so I wasn't too worried but I keep shooting him with my flare gun and my blood water I didn't use Inferno potion because I wanted to hold on to it for Skeletron but yeah he has 15 000 Health it's a lot of Health for the little damage that I do it it was a struggle and maybe skull Ultron should have came first but he didn't do too much damage I have a lot of Defense but he still does like 40 50 damage and his projectiles are not easy to dodge but this fight lasted ages I started getting down into the lower section of Health it wasn't looking great but he only has a little bit of Health left and I'm able to offend him off long enough to get a heal off and I'm basically full health now I'm not worried and I kill him not bad not bad nothing that he dropped I care about except for the expert mode accessory which is the bone Helm it sends these like ghost hands at the enemies and does damage I'll take any damage I can get and then sleep till night time set up an arena at the dungeon and considering the challenge I have at hand and how long it takes to beat bosses I probably summoned him a bit late in the night at 9 30 2 hours through the night but hopefully we can beat it anyway and for some reason one of his hands gets very low very quickly I think the bees did lots of damage so only about a minute into the fight I've already destroyed both of his hands and now it's just his skull and his skull is already pretty damaged the damage against skeleton is actually pretty crazy and I probably could have Beats girl drum much easier than Deadpool but yeah I kept shooting my blood water I'm getting kind of low on it but yeah it's fine and Skeletron Falls to me not even halfway through the night completely fine no problem and Skeletron drops another damaging accessory which is the bone glove the bone glove also does last this damage it shoots a crossbone whenever I attack so if I shoot a flare gun yes the flare gun does one damage but it also shoots the bone that does much more than one damage I then start heading into the dungeon so the dungeon is uh a little tricky it's not great I mean my damage isn't great but the accessories have made it much easier I can actually kill things with a flare gun found an alchemy table now obviously I don't want a whole lot from these gold chests none of the weapons catch my fancy all I'd really want is a Cobalt shield and a shadow key for for some of the potions like life force but there is also one thing that I do want the mechanic not for any particular reason right now but the mechanic will come in very handy later on and is almost essential eventually I find a shadow key and I find a Cobalt Shield which I don't know if I even used but I grabbed it anyway I then decided to make some nice houses for my NPCs treat them well you know they work hard let's make a a nice little place for them they deserve it they're doing so much to save the world you know I'm going out defeating all these bosses I'm going out actually doing all the dirty work for him or they sit at home but but they of course they deserve a nice house you know I do all the work but it's fine they're here to sell me stuff then another Blood Moon Rises and I'm able to buy some more rims and seeds I had run out completely so I buy 800 Crimson seeds that did cost a lot but I have a lot of money so it's fine they make a lot more blood water they fight the King Slime again he does not drop the Slime Mount once again they fight him again and he doesn't drop it for the third time so sorry I fight him one last time and he drops it finally I then start building a bridge in the Underworld this was well hell it was not fun because the enemies would spawn my damage is just not great by the time I kill one enemy another enemy spawns like a freaking imp and I do need a long platform because my damage output is not amazing I'm not expecting to kill the Wall of Flesh very quickly so I do need a lot of space I know CJ death spot actually building a proper bridge for the Wall of Flesh insane this is never seen before it is a Monumental occasion that will be celebrated for decades I do open some Shadow chests along the way and after I'm done creating the bridge I'm running a little too low for my liking on blood water so I start absolutely destroying my world and all the sand that it is worth because I need a lot of it I make some bottled water and craft it into some more blood water now I'm in a more comfortable range I then make a little house for the guide is all cozy up in the house he's looking nice and snuggled up in this warm area it's so warm nice here and then I break the floor from underneath him and let him fall straight into the lava and die a brutal death face turned to Mush and consume my potions including a life force potion and I start throwing some blood water and shooting some flag on straight at the wall now the damage it's not been great and the hungries grow back at an alarming rate in master mode so I don't know how I'm gonna do this exactly but I am doing damage fast enough that I am killing the hungry and getting a few hits into the wall but it's just not doing much I'm trying to dodge his attacks and everything at least my defense is very high and I'm trying to get a little closer that I can hit him with the Inferno potion unfortunately the Thorns potion doesn't do a whole lot because I'm not gonna do contact damage to the wall much I'm never gonna be sitting in his eyeball I want to keep my distance because he does a lot of damage but at least the blood water does consistent damage I've done a good amount of damage now I keep shooting my flag on getting that burn on him the hungry do a good good amount of damage to me I'm down to 50 Health but I get a heal off but the wall gets faster and faster like it only gets worse from here the hungry keep growing back and ended up dying it's not looking great I this boss is not easy at all but I decided my platform was not quite long enough so I dreaded the journey in front of me but I did bite the bullet and started building a platform to the west of the world I actually got a guy booted all this time so I throw the guy video doll into the lava on the edge of the world I now have tons of platform to go off basically the whole world's length and it's like chipping away at the wall once again also I guess technically Boulders could be classless damage but I didn't use them either but this time things aren't looking too bad I've done quite a bit of damage already um with not too much space taken up I'm basically keeping the hungry close together so that my blood water can do AOE damage to them I'm trying to group them up so that I can do multiple damage at once I'm also going up and down to dodge the lasers at the same time and getting some hits in on the Wall of Flesh whenever the hungry are kind of low so I made sure to have a heart reach potion because the hungry and the worms they all drop Hearts which is very helpful for healing I was up on 300 health and I decided to jump up onto the wrong platform I made for myself and now I am at 130 health and I'm about to choke this boss fight when it's so close to death but I made sure to keep killing the hungries keep killing the worms get in those hearts get my health back up and eventually after a long fight of throwing water at the wall of flesh I actually defeated it I can't believe I did that I beat the master mode Wall of Flesh with blood water alright that's pretty hard mode done we are doing the whole play through here no funny stuff no part twos this is the whole video but I do have to ask you you guys aren't subscribed helps the algorithm helps everything now I know shocker shocker I went to the crimson and I smashed some Demon Alters okay okay I know crazy stuff don't come for me I know it's a little controversial but I do like smashing Alters once I enter hard mode sue me I'm sorry I do what has to be done but I do have Palladium mithril and titanium now this is really cringe and I have a reason for this the one time I don't really care about titanium I get it and I don't get the one I want but after smashing some altars I now have hard mode ores and I go start the ore grind now my damage right now is not great obviously it's not good fighting enemies with blood water and a flare gun in hard mode the minds and Palladium make a Palladium Pickaxe mine to mithril make a mithril and villain pickaxe and then of course I mined some titanium but I do not turn it into bars this is important because I headed over to the eighth of biome and I threw my titanium into the Shimmer to get at a man type that's not what I wanted through the a mantite into the trimmer to get our calcumor that is what I want or a calcum armor if you didn't know whenever you attack it shoots little petals at the enemies so more damage I'll definitely take that so I then made a graveyard bomb near the dryad and created an artificial corruption biome obviously I'm not doing this for Evan koi because any damage increase including the Wrath potion does not affect lossless damage but I do want to fight the Eater of Worlds for the worm scarf without damage reduction because damage reduction is very important I do want to stay alive not doing much damage doesn't matter as long as I'm staying alive the most important thing is staying alive now the mech bosses have time limits so we will have to find a workaround while I wait for some vile mushrooms to grow I go down into a cave to try and farm some mimics I want one particular drop from the mimics my first mimic drops a philosopher's stone that is not what I wanted trying to find mimics when you actually want them it's not easy they don't spawn much and then the Pirates invaded I did not want them Pirates especially not this early to save myself a lot of time and energy I used some lava and once the Pirates were cleared I actually did bite the Flying Dutchman I got it down to 7 000 Health out of 24. I did die but I gave it a good fight then after farming enough rotten chunks and bio powder which was not fun to say the least I summoned the Eater of Worlds with the oracalcon pedals the damage is quite high and now I have a worm scarf also I obviously want warding on my accessories I do reforge them for that defense buff I could go for quick for movement speed but we're back to the mimic grind it was cringe I spent way too long looking for mimics so mimic after mimic I get magic dagger dual hook everything but what I want cross necklace all of it and then suddenly the air starts getting colder around me that means Skeletron Prime that's fine I can beat him no problem well at least I gave it a shot I never say no to a fight and finally right after Skeletron Prime and panting him the Terraria Gods bless me with a star cloak that is what I wanted the whole time the star cloak when you are hit drop stars on the enemies this was buffed recently and it actually does a lot of damage and this thing you will see it's the MVP it's the goat it's so good I then summoned the queen bee so that I could get a honeycomb and with that I can combine the star cloak and the honeycomb to make a b cloak that is probably the best accessory I can make out of the star cloak if I make a star Veil I'll get hit less I'll have more frame immunities which means that it'll release less stars and then start to farm some Pixies and then I head to the skies and fight the wyvern which isn't too bad since I have quite a bit of piercing stuff fight him a few times and I make some pixie wings so now I have a strategy for the mechanical bosses now I got this strategy from the YouTuber Ro he did a playthrough of stars only he only used a star cloak from the start of the game to the end I'll put his channel in the description same as terrorist deal he had a strategy that was pretty genius and I can't take credit for it because it's his strategy and I don't know if he got it from something else but it's super sick basically I went down into the Shimmer I put a pump into it so that I can pump out some of the Shimmer liquid so a while back I collected a slime statue the slime statue spawn slimes obviously and slimes do not that much damage so I'll explain why the shim is here in a second but the strategy is that I have the slime statue so that the Slime spawn and hit me this will spawn in the stars that will rain down and hit the boss consistently while I stand still it is just raining down Stars I also made some titanium armor because I don't want to kill the slimes with the pedal armor and I want more defense blue slimes actually do a bit of damage but with a slime Banner they only do one when a blue slime hits you or any enemy hits you in Terraria you are invisible for a few frames this means that no other enemy can hit you if a certain enemy hits you that enemy will have priority for the next hit basically the damage draw goes to the enemy that hit you last this means let's say the twins even if they are right on top of me which slime is still alive it'll hit me every time but the problem with this strategy is the star cloak will kill the slimes the Stars will go straight through the box and kill the slames that means that for a split second there will be no slames the Slime said you can only spawn so much so quickly and then the twins will get a hit in and then the twins will have priority against me so then I'm only getting hit by the Twins and no one wants that they're gonna hurt me a lot so that's where the Shimmer comes into play the Shimmer bounces the stars back up not only deflecting the stars and not hitting the slimes but hitting the boss potentially twice because it's bouncing upwards this is what happens when you fight skeleton Prime without the Shimmer and the Stars kill the slimes it's not pretty so that's the strategy it'll keep the slimes alive it'll keep my immunity frames up and it'll keep me from taking damage so now we're already got all our Buffs everything ready with the one second timer and the slime statue I summon the twins I am constantly taking damage from the slimes now the twins projectiles can't even hit me anyway because they don't go through blocks but once they start ramming into me as you can see they're not even hitting me the slimes are hitting me every time and the twins aren't even touching me but the Stars don't hit the twins too much they like to space themselves out from the player but every time they come in to dash into me they do take some damage here and there and occasionally a rogue star will hit one of them eventually spasmatism gets the second phase gets a bit more aggressive so that's ramming me which is good because he can't even hit me I've taken no damage from the twins here only from the slames eventually retinasa actually goes into second phase and retina actually targets himself above the player so that was a much quicker kill and spats is actually the last one left even though he was the first one in the second phase pretty interesting and of course spaz Rams into me and he's no match for my stars and that's it it's as simple as that now can we do it against the other mechanical bosses with such ease now the Destroyer was a bit more complicated here destroy did not position itself above the Stars so Jimmy actually caused a lot of problems so this attempt does not work the probe's actually kind of ignore my strategy they don't care about the frame immunity stuff so I need a new strategy for the Destroyer I cleared out a lot more space underneath my statue hoping that the destroyal then wouldn't spawn any probes and I made an area that didn't have any Shimmer so that the Stars could actually get the Destroyer that did Kill the slames but it's fine the Destroyer can't even hit me up here there's no blocks for it to boost itself up to me it's really no problem I can just let the stars fall down and yeah the star click does a lot of damage in master mode the only problem with the probes and they were pretty much dealt with by the stars and with no real problem the Destroyer Falls to me and now Skeletron Prime is All That Remains now I'll go back to my Shimmer Arena selatron Prime is basically like the twins I mean I have priority with the Slime so skeleton Prime just doesn't really do anything to me and I do a lot of damage to it like this is damage that normal weapons wouldn't even do I don't know if I've ever killed skeleton Prime this quickly this is with one accessory and Skeletron Prime Falls to me very quickly all right so now we have defeated the three last bosses that actually have time restraints from now on I am not using exploits I'm not using the Shimmer frame immunity exploit because we've defeated the bosses that actually have time requirements now I am only using the weapons no Shimmer no anything so I make a pickaxe ax and head over to the underground jungle now I need to collect some glorified and I do want to get some turtle armor just for that extra defense and some life Fruit but actually before the total armor I made some glorify armor glorified armor has a little Crystal Shard that shoots at enemies it does a good amount of damage and it is classless just like the auric halcom set after lots of underground jungle exploration eventually I have a lot of chlorophyte I have full health from all the Life Fruit I throw a live fruit into the Shimmer to get the Aegis fruit I decided to make a lot more blood water as it's still my best weapon 20 damage I go into the underground ice biome to find some ice tortoises and hopefully get a frozen turtle shell which will increase my damage reduction by 25 when I'm below 50 life I opened up my Queen B Arena as this will be my new Plantera Arena two birds with one stone that's called efficiency work harder not smarter I mean and after a while of clearing out a big area for Plantera all that's left to do is to fight her I am using clarify armor for that damage boost I could have easily fought this boss with the Shimmer Stars would it have been a really good strategy yes but that's kind of cheesy and I don't want to do that also I could have shot a ton of flares and got to the projectile limit and then Plantera just kind of sit still and doesn't do anything but I'm not gonna do that I'm just gonna do this legitimately and yeah I mean planet is pretty textbook you run circles around her until it's second phase eventually she gets a second phase and then strategy kind of flies out the window she gets very quick and sporadic I gotta just keep my distance there's a lot of area there's a lot of space for me to work with so I'm not too worried blood water I have lots of it it's my main weapon there's nothing else to use but the accessories and the clarified armor are would have probably doing the most damage here but I get around to half health I'm just keeping my distance making sure I'm not getting hit too much keeping safe from her and eventually on 400 Health completely fine I defeat Plantera I mean if I can be Plantera then surely I can beat the other bosses so now I go into the dungeon there is two things I want in particular I want the Tabby for a dash because I haven't had to dash this whole playthrough I want the option to dash I do get a black belt but not a tabby and then one drops a black belt and a tabby but the main thing I want now is a Paladin's Shield but paladins are not easy to kill also Plantera dropped a Spore sack accessory which is helpful the spores do classless damage and they home in on enemies they do good damage they poison they're good eventually after a few Paladin deaths a paladin drops a paladin shield and a Paladin's Hammer I'm definitely not gonna complain after defeating the mechanical bosses I did get the mechanical Minecart which I can use the lasers on that as damage that is classless I didn't really use it too much but it was an option I crafted an already present there's something I really wanted from the frost moon event something that it's the most damage dealing I'll get I tried to use the slime and everything to cheese these enemies but it didn't really work a whole lot instead I tried using the slimes more lifted up and that seemed to work but once the Santa NK ones came around they actually shoot through the box that I'm in so that was a problem but usually I could regen and heal enough that I could withstand it at least for a bit so now I just need to farm Frost moons and do enough damage to them that I can kill them and hopefully it drops what I want eventually the ice queen spawns and I can't quite kill her I didn't really get anything from that Frost Moon so next one after another couple kills of Santa NK ones still nothing this time I killed three Santa ank ones and an ice queen the ice queen drops a blizzard star but still nothing I want after another Frost Moon still not what I want and finally after killing two Santa ank ones it drops the toy tank Mount the toy tank Mount shoots like a chain gun at enemies when you lay on it and you might be thinking wouldn't that be like range damage or something or summon damage since it's a summon since its amount no nope now that's the case for other mounts to do damage but this one and another one do classes damage now I head down into the lizard temple we all know why I'm here I'm here to fight the pathetic Golem now the toy tank Mount actually shoots some rockets at the enemies its damage is quite high for a mount it's really good it is a master mode exclusive so you can't use this outside of Master mode but we're on Master mode so no problem but the Golem pales in comparison to me I got my blood water still blood water doing damage I will admit though the damage to the Golem it's not looking too great we're not doing amazing damage but the damage he does to me okay 14 damage that that all you got bro is that all you've got eventually both of his fists are destroyed and his fat skull separates from his body from his torso but I mean the toy tank Mount and all my accessories and everything the Golem sends no chance against me I do some actual insane damage for this glassless stuff that's it that's the Golem but we fight the Golem again to get enough Beetle husks so that I have all that juicy damage reduction from the beetle armor so now I go and find a martian Probe on the outside of the map this is because I want to try another Mount but a UFO spawns and once he starts doing the death lasers yeah there's nothing really I can do the Slime immunity frames they don't work all the time death laser will sneak its way through but it's fine we're not farming the UFO we're farming the scuttlex Gunners and eventually escot like scanner does drop the brain Scrambler that I wanted and then a solar eclipse spawns there's nothing I want from this but I mean there's nothing I can do but see it through but with the brain Scrambler I can mount a scutlix which also it shoots lasers which do classless damage now it has a bit more movement speed than the toy tank but it doesn't have a double jump so I don't think it's as good the damage I don't think is as good as the toy tank but I wanted to try it out and it is the non-master mode variation of flaskless damage Mount so yeah the toy tank obviously should be better it is a master mode exclusive I had to try it out I had to and now there's only one thing left to do I murdered the cultists at the dungeon and summoned The Lunatic cultist this bus isn't too difficult but the very low variation of weapons that I have and the low damage it makes it a little harder but at one point I did shoot the wrong cultist which made it ever so slightly more difficult but it's fine I killed the dragon I didn't hit the wrong one the second time but I did hit the wrong one the next time but it's fine because I defeated him quickly after and the celestial pillars start invading now no one really cares about the celestial pillars but I do want to let you guys know this was not fun I mean the damage sucked I first went to the nebula pillar and I mean it's just not fun I used the toy tank and everything but I did die a lot of times and I had to keep regening my health back up going back in fighting him I then logged out to reset my flares and I forgot that logging out resets the pillars barrier so I had to start all over again but after about 30 minutes of Heartache I finally defeated the nebula pillar what do I get from it nothing I can't use anything from it now for the solar pillar I'm gonna cheese it I don't care I do not want to fight it legitimately so I created a platform in the sky so that I could kill the solar enemies in safety and yeah this one was no problem it was fine after all the enemies were dead I went down destroyed the pillar with my toy tank and we're good solar pillar actually the easiest pillar Believe It or Not only because I chased it now what I started to do was make an asphalt bridge for the moon Lord I want to actually have a proper area for the moonlord fight I do need to actually prepare for this and then I went over to the vortex pillar and I started chipping at that but it it was very cringe I was dying a lot against the vortex pillar the damage isn't there and you don't have anything that's homing or anything Vortex is not great so I then decided to bite the bullet and go down into the underground jungle spend a lot of my time farming tortoises after about 30 minutes of grinding turtle shells I eventually get enough to make some turtle armor and turn that into Beetle armor with the shell so that I have damage reduction all that matters is staying alive I obviously don't want the damage boost so now that I take less damage I go back to the vortex pillar it is still hell it still sucks but eventually The Vortex pillar falls to me and now all that's left is Stardust so before I defeat the Stardust I decide to create a big Minecart from one end of the world to the other it'll come apparent as to why I need this Minecart later on but it is essential in the moon Lord fight I created a little house for the nurse and a bed in that house so I can just teleport home and heal from the nurse in the boss fight just in case I need to heal in an emergency alright now I go over to the Stardust pillar I defeat the pillar there's a bunch of enemies swarming me I grabbed some Stardust fragments and then I die now remember this this is important for later okay now I did have flares on the map so I did want to save and quit just to reset the projectiles I didn't want to reach the projectile cap but I wasn't sure if the moonlab would still spawn if I left the game so I didn't do it I didn't spend some fragments to make some super healing potions but I thought you know what I can go and grab some Stardust fragments before the moon Lord spawns I'll grab the rest of them and the moon Lord spawned earlier than I anticipated but here we are with the moon love fight so my strategy here use the toy tank Mount to do damage to the hands and that's about it my first priority is destroying his left and right hand I don't care about the top hand right now I I don't care about it when the death laser comes with my wings and my master ninja gear I am able to dodge the death laser pretty easily with no problems now I do want to do damage to the top eye but I just can't very easily there's no simple way to do damage to the top eye with my current weapons sorry I just chip away at the left and right eye not doing too much damage the toy tank Mount does not do a crazy amount of damage like it's in the double digits most of the time against the moon Lord that is not much there's not much to say about it I kept shooting my flare gun at the eyes and throwing blood water I probably didn't get enough blood water for this fight but it is what it is hopefully it's enough and eventually after minutes and minutes of fighting I killed the left hand of the Moon Lord now I jump onto the minecart this is where my next strategy comes into play the moon Lord uses a completely different system of immunity frames from other enemies I could not have used the slime statue exploit against the moon Lord because the moon Lord does not care he will ignore any other enemies that hit me here's a whole separate thing so that wouldn't work but I can use his own body against him I can use his broken eye and consistently stay in it to trigger the damage and spawn the stars that fall down now when I am inside of the Moon Lord's hand he only does one damage to me it's quick damage but it's one damage this is how I'm going to destroy the top eye that's right slowly and steadily with these Stars it does so little damage but after a while it'll get him but I get to the edge of the world and I got kind of messed up by some death lasers and everything and yeah I died so not great but now we can improve on our strategy so expand my Minecart from one end of the world to the other but while expanding my mind card I have some problems uh there are star cells and star cells I didn't mention this but they were very cringe because I kill one it fits into like three or four cells and I can't kill him in time before they regen so they are just constantly regenerating I then went AFK for a second and then I just completely forgot that I left the star cells there and I hadn't finished the left side of my mind cut and I just went and spawned the moon Lord without thinking about it I thought I was ready but I completely neglected the flaws in my strategy here but it'll be fine I'm sure it'll be fine I'm sure it won't come back to bite us so once again normal strategy there's not much to say here we can just skip to when the eyes are destroyed so I use the toy tank Mount I use the blood water I also didn't stock back up on blood water so I I really wasn't thinking straight but we'll have to make it work one of the problems I had last time is I didn't kill both the eyes once I tried to switch over to the other eye uh well I couldn't because it was still intact and it was doing much more damage than just one damage so I made sure to destroy both the eyes before hopping on the minecart now they are both destroyed and now I just need to maintain the same speed inside the moon Lord's Dead Hand and occasionally some Stars will hit the top eye very occasionally I completely dodged his death lasers and everything and slowly but steadily a chip at his health but once I get to the left side of the Minecart Track on the other side of the world some familiar enemies show their faces again the star sells the star cells come back and I may kill them but they slow down they regenerate and they come back and they get hits on me I start to get pretty low as I said before the star sells and other enemies have a completely separate immunity frame pool from the Moon Lord so the star sells even though I'm getting hit by the moon Lord constantly and I'm getting that immunity frame I'm not from the Star cells so they will hit me with no problems they are a huge problem and there's nothing I can do about them they just kept following me and multiplying all I needed to do was save and exit come back in and they would have despawned so I got super low I was getting towards the right side edge of the world I teleported home and I nurse healed and they got back on now hopefully those star cells will stay over there and won't show their faces to me again if I do get in a pickle from the Star sales I can just teleport home and reset my main cart and leave them where they're at but it turns out there's still some over on the left side head so we have the same problem over there so I leave them as far left as possible in a Teleport home hoping that they'll stay on that side so whenever I get near the world border I just have to teleport home and hopefully that will avoid the star sales so this fight was extremely long-winded it took forever there's like 40 minutes of me just sitting here switching sides getting those stars to hit the moon Lord occasionally whenever his top a was open but finally the moon Lord's top eye has opened up and the core is now ready to be killed now the core is much easier to hit the Stars actually fall right on top of the core so I just switched onto this I switched left and right keeping those immunity frames they ain't invincible and yeah the moon Lord had no contest the star sells they weren't a problem anymore after I decided to just kind of leave them on the edge of the world eventually I mean the moon Lord had no chance and the moonlord Was Defeated all thanks to the stock quote and it's cheesiness so that's it that's 2 Terraria with no class so apparently it's possible Master mode Terraria no class who knew that was extremely difficult probably the hardest challenge I've ever done pre-hub mode was very very difficult yeah it was it was a headache flare gun and stuff like goodness me who freaking knew but it was super fun and it was fun to see that this
