I Survived 100 Days in HARDCORE Terraria Master Mode... Here's What Happened..

i survived 100 days in hardcore master mode and it wasn't easy no what where was the trap why no what no no no no this killed me it just killed me each time i died i had to start all over again was a new character and a new world it took me over 20 tries but i was determined will i be able to defeat the moonlord without dying a single time in this insane difficulty well stick around and find out also i know it's really late but these videos take a lot of time and i'm trying to reach 50k before the end of the year so i would really appreciate if you could subscribe but regardless enjoy the video the first thing i did after spawning was shake some trees to try and get some food any fruit i could get would be incredibly useful for some early buffs and then got to exploring a cave i happened to have gotten some torches from pots so i never had to stop to kill any slimes i didn't find anything in the first cave though so i kept exploring the world while exploring i found a chest with some recall potions and an umbrella that ever since journeys update you can actually use as a weapon which i always forget about eventually i ran into a cave near the jungle where i got some loot from the chest and was chased by a gnome which i refused to fight because they freaked me out i was very careful not to step on any traps this time and i managed to find some climbing shackles and some amethyst i could use to make a hook of course i continued exploring this cave and managed to get some life crystals a magic mirror and a gravity potion which after running into a spider nest i decided to use i head to the sky and tried finding sky islands except i didn't have much luck finding any and the only one i did find was full of water although i eventually landed in the ocean where i got a trident from an ocean chest and learned that holding a trident lets you move faster than water well anyways back at the base i began building a base which i didn't do before because after dying in hardcore so many times i didn't want to waste time and because i was surrounded by mobs and wanted to play safe i waited in the base until daytime on day 2 i chopped down some trees and expanded the base even further i knew npcs wouldn't be happy living in such close quarters but it doesn't matter as long as they move in after building i got to exploring the right side of the world where i ran into the snow biome but later i returned to the jungle the jungle is extremely dangerous and full of traps so if i wasn't careful i could have died at any moment but i could also find some incredibly strong gear and it also happens to be full of hard crystals i managed to get a fishing rod a lucky horseshoe and my house up to 160 so it wasn't the best trip but at least i didn't die from the merchant i bought a mining helmet and began working on the elevator but i was forced to stop mining by a worm that kept attacking me so i stayed at the base until the blood moon passed but i didn't waste time doing nothing i made sure to work on expanding the base until day three while building i built a small house that would protect me if i ever needed to teleport back to spawn in an emergency and then began working in an arena using grenades i made my way to the crimson biome but i ran out of bombs before i was able to smash any orbs so instead i played a side tune and then teleported back home where i bought some food from the traveling merchant and bombed from the demolitionist back in the crimson biome i got another heart crystal and had to retreat because i couldn't get past the spider no no no no but of course i came right back and got a gun called the undertaker which comes with 100 bullets a crimson heart which works as light and then ran away because i summoned the brain of cthulhu and since the guns dealer moved in i made sure to buy plenty of bullets i then spent the rest of the day working on expanding the arena on day 4 i began exploring the left side of the world until i reached the ocean and then did a bit of fishing i also made sure not to rescue the angler because i really dislike him while fishing i got a few crates and the river shard of pickaxe which used to be incredibly good but now is barely any better than my tungsten pickaxe i also got a fish that works as a chainsaw and a swordfish to use as a weapon and then open every crate i had and left with all the fish i caught i had enough food to laugh me for a while on day 5 there was a goblin invasion and i really was not prepared to deal with them yet fortunately i could use some lava in the arena to defeat them rather easily it's all i did until night time where i got to working on the base and got back to working on a elevator on day6 mostly using bombs so i made progress very fast while in hell i smashed a few pots and left i didn't have any business here just yet back at the base i got back to searching for sky islands and i managed to find one inside the chest i got the star fury and then returned to the jungle where i got to collecting jungle spores stingers and heart crystals on day 7 i was still out exploring and managed to find an enchanted sword shrine but not only was it an enchanted sword it was the terragram terra grim what's a terragram it only has a two percent chance and shrines are already pretty rare i didn't know it at the time but this sword was gonna be the single most useful item for the rest of free hard mode afterwards i drank a teleportation potion and almost stepped on a trap so i just returned home to meet the new npcs at night there was a blood moon so i just got back to mining while mining i rescued the goblin tinker and then the goblin tanker just killed himself and got to searching for running boots right away i could upgrade them to spectre boots and then lightning boots on day 11 there was a goddamn invasion at least i got some goals from it after dealing with the goblin invasion i head back to the jungle to collect sports and collect hard crystals and got a lot of chess while i was there i was being a bit more reckless running in but this time i could actually afford it and after getting a shotgun i returned to the base and challenged my first hardcore boss the eye of cthulhu oh my god we're doing fine we're doing fine the shotgun's good but still i don't want to get overconfident uh i think this is yeah we're fine stop just die hit him oh my god from the eye we got the shield of cthulhu one of the most useful accessories we could get incredibly useful for dodging damage i managed to defeat three eyes and then got to reforging the shield because i'm gonna be using this for a long time on day 12 i returned to the jungle to collect stingers and finish my armor set the jungle armor gives you bonus and magic which i wasn't using but having high defense is always good and then i got to mining clay because i wasn't gonna fight any bosses until i had properly set up an area for potions i also ended up finding another enchanted sword which i didn't think was possible while preparing to build an area for potions i really wanted a living wand so i head to a living tree to see if i can find any inside the living tree i got a minion staff but no one at least i had a minion fortunately there was still a way for me to get one ever since journeys update there's been a way to shake trees causing them to drop either acorns or food and with a 0.3 chance you could actually get the living wand i spent all of day 14 looking for the wood one i also prepared some land to play some trees i also collected as many stars as i could at nighttime this is gonna come back later i took day 14 to day 17 a bit slower and while i was waiting for the tree to grow and try to get the living wand i instead got to building using normal wood and place an area for plants to grow because we're going to need a lot of potions on day 18 i began working on a base but i didn't know about how i felt about placing it on an island we already did that in the original 100 days in master mode so i got rid of it instead i made an area for more npcs and then got the leaf one and after buying some dynamite from the miner and using some of my stars to make gesture arrows i got to working in an arena in the crimson i also collected sand in a really satisfying way and then got to mining for lead to make iron skin more like let's get and after preparing some potions i had to fight the brain of czulu fighting bosses makes me so nervous i'm scared i'm so scared don't get me please please please i'm actually terrified oh this survived oh no no don't touch the brain where is all right oh that's insane this sword is amazing oh my god this sword is insane uh what turns out the terracom pretty good for this boss now i did realize we won't be able to get the worm scarf meaning no damage reduction but we did get the brain of confusion that ever since journey's end was actually buffed while i fought another brain of cthulhu because i was already here and i needed to put the potions to good use a meteor landed but first i made the hellbringer pickaxe and now i couldn't mine house stone in fact forget about the meteorite let's just jump straight to house stone anyways i stayed mining got a health forge and almost died because i forgot to drink my obsidian skin potion after money for a bit i returned home to make a molten pickaxe because mining was taking way too long forgot the goblin invasion was going on got some gold from pots back in hell and then defeated the goblin army now i have molten armor an m staff and a molten fury and now to prepare for skeletron i was going to buy the mini shark but the arms dealer was very unhappy so i moved him like two rooms and that solved it i guess and then i summon the blood moon so i could buy tungsten bullets but then he died i did get a cool kai so it was a good trade and now to make my way to the dungeon that was right next to the corruption there happened to be a sky island right above the dungeon so now i have wings on day 24 i got to working on an arena for skeletron but hopefully the sky island wouldn't get in the way and now to challenge skeletron go come on come on yes the hands first oh my god patch first then the head oh just don't get hit by the head come on we're halfway there we're out are they we're doing good i just don't like the scores i just don't like the scores they do so much damage nice that was the bernica fusion let's go and now we have access to the dungeon in the dungeon i got the alchemy table the cobot shield rescued the mechanic found a big witching table got the maramasa and accidentally teleport at home so i got to searching for the meteor which landed in the jungle i also forgot that you couldn't use tnt to mine meteorite anymore so i got to mining the proper way and after mining meteorite i made the star cannon which i had to reforge and then i got to farming i have cthulhu i was making sure two of it collects fallen stars whenever i had the chance and returned to the dungeon to use my last key we have a lot of preparing to do before we can enter hard mode and because i needed potions i got to fishing for the armored cave fish to make endurance and the hammer piranha to make rage potions after fishing for a while i collected a few crates fish and then finally ran out of bait and after opening all the crates i got i had to fish again before making any potions i decided to learn how planter boxes work and it turns out they're just like pots but better because you don't need to mind clay but then i got to making potions and spent most of the day focusing on the potion tree farm area and then head down to hell while in hell i got to collecting ash blocks and got to working on the walla flash arena i also made an obsidian shield using obsidian and then got to reforging my gear at night i made sure to collect stars i also made some seafood dinner for the major improvement buff and then got back to working on the arena just working in the arena for so long so long while working on the arena i got a voodoo doll and then head back home to farm plants before fighting the wall of flesh i decided to spend a bit more time working on the base why am i putting so much effort into a house that i might lose well if i don't die this is going to be our base huh and did you think about that and finally got the living wand and with the use of the wand i ended up making a weird tree person oh just give him air this is coming along better when you add green it looks way better this is good i like it and i made sure to place the villager nearby to make sure no wyvern spawn and then got to organizing the slowest part of the game i finished up the day by defeating the eye of kazulu because i needed ore to make the blood butter on day 42 i mined some house stone to make the fiery greatsword bought the ammo reservation box from the traveling merchant and then head to the jungle to collect spores and stingers to make the blade of grass now i began working in some houses in the snow biome after the goblin tinker moved in i made sure to get warding on whatever i could on day 45 i got to flattening the desert to make some land for cactus to grow and then got to exploring the underground desert i absolutely despised the underground desert because it's basically full of cactus that act as boulders but there were also a lot of life crystals that i was going to need for arenas oh god so i just dealt with it dude look around you there's so many mobs while in the desert i found two teleportation potions and then appeared right next to a trap okay okay i don't like that i'm just gonna walk away and i have to say fighting the urge to activate the switch was the hardest thing i've done so far although in this new place i ended up finding some more heart crystals and a star statue but then i returned to the desert to continue exploring after not really finding anything else in the desert i head to the snow biome to search for ice skates which i actually found pretty fast but to not waste my spelunker potion i stayed until i ran out collecting some loot from chest and hardcrystals and was finally able to make the frostbark boots and also was finally able to find some blink root seeds but it turned out i already had a single blink root plant after all that i got to working on an underground arena and it was pretty small so i was done by the next day was the underground arena done i head to the jungle to work on a quick jungle arena and defeated the kazulu a few more times but then there was a change of plans while i was playing the terraria don't start crossover update came out so i decided to defeat the dear clubs enough times to get every single don't starve item especially chester i really wanted to have him from the iron dealer i bought another mini shark because my old one was used for the star cannon and i also made some meteor bullets because i forgot i had sober bullets to summon the deer claps we needed eye lenses which i had in the chest creme tenor so i defeated the brain of cthulhu and flanks fur so i got to farming a few flanks for a while mostly by drinking a battle potion and moving back and forth on a cart i also found a few life crystals while exploring the snow caves at night i made sure to always collect stars we're going to need them for the wall of flesh fight and i had collected over 200 by now searching for flanks was taking way too long so i made an arena and play some water candles and now we were actually finding a few more with all the materials i was able to make 14 deer things needed to spawn the deer clubs but on day 54 i dealt with the goblin invasion first have i ever mentioned how much i hate it because the meteor bullets i made before have a bounce effect i play some walls on the snow arena and play some lava to deal more damage to the deer clubs and from day 54 until day 57 i did nothing but fight dear clubs nice try to stay close and avoid the attacks when you see the animations it's taking too long from the first treasure bag we got a bone helm which summoned shadow hands and a sentry and then i got everything else after that was over i did some tree planting and then bought a horse mount and on day 58 i finally challenged the walla flash this is easy just when it speeds up i need to use my star master easy from the wall of flesh i got the firecracker the melee emblem and the demon heart for one extra accessory slot and right away got to farming souls of knight and the corruption i also didn't waste any time and got to mining palladium and was a palladium i made a palladium pickaxe with the palladium pickaxe i mined the richolkium and made an original mambo and actually stopped mining right there because now i could make the mechanical worm needed to summon one of the mechanical bosses for day 60 and day 66 i got to working around the base working on the arena during big time and set some seeds for corruption i prepared some potion materials i also set up platforms in the arena they were meant to be used against skeletron prime because his bombs could actually destroy the arena but that only applies for for the worthy so this didn't matter and because i was already building with planter boxes i decided to change my potion area a bit i removed all the pots and then just left all the planters anyways i was originally going to organize my plants and because i didn't have enough seeds for some other plants i just decided to plant them wherever i also tried removing the torches but it felt weird i either had too many or too little but i had other things to worry about so i just left it how it originally was and finally i did something you guys have been telling me for the longest time i saw some glass panes so on day 67 i mind whatever i could find mostly palladium and a bit of origin i also tried collecting souls of night but i had to be either very careful or not even try so i just left i also managed to find the wizard back at the base i made palladium armor and a repeater i made the grand design and then set up a unicorn farm because i wanted to get the enchanted apple on day 68 i got to spreading holy water around the underground arena i made to try and get souls once it spreads and then got back to farming unicorns while i waited for the hollow to spread and i actually managed to get the blessed apple pretty quick i also almost got myself killed while farming and at night i got back to collecting falling stars while in the snow biome i learned that snow house was corrupted and forgot how broke i was when i tried to reforge so i had a lot of work ahead on day 69 i got to mining for whatever i could get my greasy little hands why did i write that and then i got to collecting sand and then i got back to mining i also managed to defeat a nice mimic nice and then i drank a teleportation potion and ended up in the ocean where i got to stealing the sand i realized i didn't have to keep this world looking pretty because if i died it was gone so i used dynamite on day 70 while i was farming unicorns there was a goblin invasion but this time i had to deal with the goblin sorcerer which was not an easy thing to do but i managed to survive and i got the shadowflame knife i did learn to deal with the sorcerer pretty well so we were fine i also got the shadowflame hackstall and then i got to selling glass which made me over one platinum that's actually really good and because now i wanted money i got to mining until day 71 where i made another two platinum now we should be set on money for a while or until i get the steampunker to move in i also made a titanium furnace and a titanium repeater at the underground snow arena i got to farming i-corps and souls of knight using the i-corps i made the golden shower the piss book that lowers enemy defense but constant mana so i had to make mana stars i also made some microarrows which are very strong and very fast and because her cat was stuck on a tree i built a way for her to go up and down there you go with all the money i had i was able to afford some gear including the store cannon and after moving the nurse somewhere safer i challenged the mechanical worm the star cannon is so useful literally have the house is just gone just don't hit the head just don't hit the head this is sort of wrecking easy let's go let's go oh i'm dying i'm dying from the treasure back we got a developer set so i could replace my old wings and with the hollow i got i upgraded my repeater to a hollow repeater on day 73 i referred my wings and then the steampunker arrived and after buying teleporters i ran out of money i'm broke again so i had to do more mining this time i might bite the ocean to see if i could find water walking boots while mining a mimic dropped the philosopher's stone which brings my potion codon from 60 seconds down to 45 and then drank a teleportation potion that took me to the jungle but i didn't need to do anything here so i just returned to the ocean i almost died while collecting sand in the ocean so i returned back to the base and sewed the glass on day 74 i set up some teleporters and then head to the dungeon where i began working on an area to collect bones i also got a golden key to a chest which had a shadow key but i was way past the need for one at this point there was also a party on day 75 so i got some cake i also got another enchanted apple one and then spent the day farming souls of light while farming i managed to defeat a hollow mimic but i didn't get anything good but then a regular mimic came and gave me the hook i wanted so it works out and at night i challenge the twins how am i supposed to fold it on first i forgot i think it was plasmatism might be wrong i don't think i need to heal with an earth yeah i'm good we're good ah no that was not good all right all right oh my god i almost said you're dead you're dead get out yep that's on day 76 i got to forming souls of night in the crimson underground arena but then switched to the underground snow arena although i did almost die now i had everything to summon skeleton prime but i didn't just yet so on day 77 i returned to farming souls of light while farming i got some pretty good drops like the beam sword and the star cloak from a mimic which causes stars to fall when you take damage i also used all the i-core to make more arrows because at night i challenged the twins again with the hollow ore i had enough to make a full set of hollow armor which grants me immunity after striking an enemy not only did i have immunity from that i also had immunity from the brain of confusion which grants me a chance to dodge all damage as well as overall better defense than the palladium armor on day 78 i refer to my repeater and then challenge skeleton prime that's one [Music] last two [Music] oh we're gone zombie got in the way [Music] at four and we're the with all the mechanical bosses defeated i was able to make the pixel i was also able to make the mechanical card there's also one more thing that's available now at the jungle i got to collecting live room and now that i have the pixar i can mine chlorophyte since i was already here and i needed the witch doctor i challenged queen bee and because there was a light bulb nearby and i'm a bit impatient i decided to try and challenge pluntera i made it to the second stage of the fight but i know when i'm not prepared so i left back at the base i made a glorified shot bow a repeater which shoots multiple arrows at once this weapon is insanely good and we're gonna be using it until the lunar events afterwards i just got to planting until day 80. on the night of the 80 i tried getting a new minion i got to fishing during a blood moon with the hopes of catching a dread nautilus to try and get the senguin staff the staff is a new minion added in journey's end and it has a pretty good speed but i fished the wrong boss and didn't end up getting it [Music] on day one i set a teleport in the jungle and continued my search for life room i managed to get across necklace from a mimic and because i already had the cross necklace i made the star bale which makes invincibility frames last longer and it also makes stars fall from the sky pretty useful when you can't afford to take much damage and then i did some reforging after reforging i head back to the jungle where i got to search for life through until day 83 and almost went right into lava i return home to make more arrows and then continue searching for life through i ended up exploring the whole jungle and not really finding many so while i waited for some to appear i head to the ocean to collect coral and made sonar potions and then prepared an area with water to make sure there was enough water as to not have any fishing penalties and then got to fishing using the chum i got from the mini boss from the blood moon i ended up catching some pretty good items right away and stayed fishing until day 88 there's not much to say i was just fishing but i can't show you everything i got afterwards i got to making potions but i ran out of materials or so i thought i simply ran out of bottles of water i made sure to pick up some potions i had in the chest and also made some flasks of i-corps because i-corps flasks are just way better than any other flask in the game and at the end of the day i ended up with all these potions so if i ever need any i can just come over to my piggy bank and simply restock with all the potions taken care of i got to searching for life through once more on day 89 while searching for life through i ran into a crimson mimic and then i decided to take the challenge no you know what no no let's do it let's do it you can do this of course i was paying attention to my house and because of the mobs i had to run away am i gonna do this no no no no oh get out get out get out get out get out get out get out get out get out but then i returned to life through hunting at this point i was just running all around in circles but finally on day 90 i found the last one i needed there it is i was ready to challenge pantera but because i was in need of a better minion by now i head to the hollow to search for the gelatin crystal the gelatine crystal sponge much like a normal crystal but it looks slightly different but with the gelatine crystal i could challenge queen slime there she is so because this boss is a bit new i should explain it she's just a bullet hell that's it she came up and journeys uh she came out in journeys and he's a bit of a bullet hell oh gosh he's actually doing i cannot see the bubbles because of the background oh no she's flying there's our second stage what there's a crimson mimic no a hollow mimic but what no no no this is so bad please stop no no no no no come on come on come on come on come on girl the battle ended faster than i expected or so i oh this is how you do it this is way easier i thought you could on this one in the hollow i killed the nurse ha ha my bad from queen slime i got the slime out but not the minion staff i wanted and right after the queen slime fight on day 91 i was greeted by a pirate innovation nothing too interesting happened but because when i'm playing normally i always tend to be very reckless in the pirate animation and end up dying a lot so i just bought the box to protect me and i defeated them on day 92 not very eventful on day 93 i head to the jungle to challenge montero i waited until day 93 so the nurse could move in since i got her killed in the queen slime fight and she didn't move in on day 92 because of the pirate innovation and then pcs can't move in during the events i have so many pumps on me now we're doing so much damage the nurse died i waited for i waited two days for her she died when did she die oh my god damn we're not getting hit nothing good i think i got hit by like the immunity and from here things only got even more difficult after defeating plantera i head back to the base where i got to making an actuator rod and using the rod i entered the final room of the temple the temple is very much trapped and this way i could just simply skip to the golem room and so on day 94 i challenged the golem huh i'm so used to the for the worthy golem this is kinda easy i waited a day for the nurse and it's not even that bad all right let's just take all the hands first i ended up getting my house pretty low a couple of times but we had the nerds nearby for a reason i got worried for a second but because i didn't get anything good from the golem it was time to defeat the golem again this time the fight was going way better but during the fight i accidentally removed my respawn points so i guess we're done for now we're now in the final stretch of terraria and we have a lot of work to do because after defeating the golem things only get harder one of those things being the dungeon the exact location we head to next the thing is i wasn't concerned about my damage anymore i'll be able to get better weapons once i deal with the pillars but right now my focus was on defense while at the dungeon i was trying to get everything needed for the master ninja gear which has a longer dash than the shadow kethulu and even has a chance to dodge attacks the best part about this though is that it actually stacks with my brain of confusion and my hollow armor while at the dungeon i got really lucky with my drops and on day 95 i headed back home to make the master ninja gear but it turned out i've needed the climbing class so i got to searching i didn't find the climbing claws but i did find water walking boots so i made the molten charm and then i got to searching for the obsidian rose the obsidian rose only had a two percent chance of being dropped by imps and only imps in hell so i got to farming until day 97 oh i was okay we're an imp just kind of showed up and now we have the terra spark boots but we are done no back to searching for the climbing claws now that we couldn't find them in any chest we could still get them from fishing for crates and so i got to fishing for three days straight doing nothing but catching and opening crates with very little luck and though we reach 100 days but we're gonna keep going until i defeat the moonlord or until i die [Music] on the night of day 100 there was a blood boom and on a full moon too the perfect night to get the moon charm and so i ended up getting the fast clock and the moon charm now i only needed the counter force mantra and the blindfold and we should have everything for the young shield but for now my focus was on the climbing cost but after fishing until day 108 i decided it was time for me to take a break so i head to the temple where i got a solar tablet and then got to farm in the guardian there it is we're gonna be doing quite a bit of farming these last few days on day 110 i summoned the solar eclipse because the two final items i needed for the celestial shell were dropped by enemies during the solar eclipse one being the neptune shell and the other being the moonstone the neptune gel being dropped by the creatures of the deep and the moonstone being dropped by the vampires the problem is the solar eclipse is incredibly dangerous with enemies like mothran and the psycho who can deal up to 300 damage if i'm caught off guard luckily i knew how to deal with everything pretty well literally just by placing a wall so i managed to get everything decently fast there is the neptune show let's go and now we have the celestial shell the rest of the solar eclipse was surprisingly calm back at the base despite almost having everything needed for the angst shield i decided not to make it instead we're gonna get something a bit different the frozen paladin shield and for that we're gonna need the paladin shield which can be found at the dungeon dropped by paladins but the problem is the paladin shield isn't that great when you're not playing in multiplayer well combined with the frozen turtle shell you can make the frozen shield and have incredibly good defense especially if you were to get something like warding on it but that's not the end of it pair with my star bale even if i dodged the damage my star bell was still activated and so i got to farming to get the frozen turtle shell the paladin shield and the climbing claws hey this is future mars it's currently 4 48 am and there's just way too much footage of a bunch of nothing and because i don't want to bore you let me just cut everything out and tell you the days where i got what i wanted on day 125 i finally got the climbing claws oh my god on day 131 i finally got the paladin shield yes and it took me until day 137 to get the frozen turtle shell oh no way so i finally made the frozen shield afterwards i got to reforging my shield and even though i already spent a lot of time farming i decided to get one more item i might as well get the rod of discord with a 1 in 400 chance to be dropped by a chaos elemental i already got really unlucky with items with a two percent chance and now i'm trying to get something with a 0.25 percent chance and i told myself i wasn't gonna leave until i got the run i sold some glass i made potions and prepared arrows i got a hollow key before i got the da and finally on the morning of day 151 no yes yes getting out of here get out of here there was only one thing left to do and that was to build an arena to prepare for the lunar event now that i built an arena that covers most of the world i finally challenged salonade coltes on the morning of day 153 wait oh my god what happened there i didn't even shoot him i keep dodging all the damage like not like dodging the attack just like does damage itself i didn't think it would work this well wait wait i don't see him no one no no no i didn't realize he was doing this just died this time this time if i can kill the cult of birth the dragon dies not the bird oh my god the dragon keeps yes and from here on out i'm not gonna be talking over the footage anymore you're only gonna be seeing my reactions at the
