hey everyone I'm happy to have you here in this video I'll be showing you some of the best new mods that were released in the last week for Starfield to my regulars um sorry this one is a little late but I decided to switch my weekly upload to Wednesdays it's been a wild week for Starfield modding as we got some Standalone armors some completely new perks and a lot of quality of life mods this is mods of the week first up on the list is not a standalone armor but a replacer for the Mantis of course this is some more armor from the Halo Universe this one being the armor Linda War and Halo 5 Guardians I just can't wait for a complete Halo overhaul now for a familiar site a Fallout power armor inspired space suit that doesn't replace the Mantis the suit looks a little muddy which was done on purpose to implement lore and in the author's own words makes it an old Earth Relic dated from before the Great War the author says they will be uploading a better preserved version soon if that's what you're interested in another mod from Halo 5 this time a weapon which which replaces the big bangang shotgun I personally think the Big Bang is pretty ugly but super effective so this is a welcome mod in my book I'm not super familiar with Halo 5 so I don't know if the ammo counter is supposed to be floating like it is but it is nice regardless perfect timing for Halloween this mod adds in a standalone helmet with a skeleton head inside although this mod can break immersion it's super cool to see especially since modders are figuring out how to add in Standalone clothes and SPAC suits also in this mod is a full body skeleton costume which simply just turns your character into a skeleton which is hilarious and [Music] awesome one of the very first completely Standalone perks that replaces nothing and is given its own slot on the skill tree this perk gives an immersive way to boost XP gain and considering all of the different bonuses in the game the author balanced this one pretty well so it's not too too overpowered this finel XP gain versus the first level of the skill might not be a crazy difference but it's enough to feel rewarding plus there's three more levels for the skill another Standalone perk made by the same person investment also introduces a quality of life change in an immersive way this perk allows you to invest in vendors and give them extra credits per level with a pretty balanced method of unlocking the higher ranks in this example the trader has a measly 5,000 credits but unlocking the first level of the perk and resetting the vendors by resting for 2 days on Venus her total is now 10,000 credits the starborn line of space suits is arguably some of the best looking suits in the vanilla game but it's unfortunate you can't really do anything with them in terms of customization or modding this mod changes that allowing you to install up to four different armor mods to it changing the type of boost pack the suit uses and even the quality level which boosts the resistances all around you can also use a different boost pack if you want a different look the other cool thing about this mod is you could take your space suit to the industrial workbench and craft a helmetless version which allows you to mix and match with your [Music] helmets this next Quality of Life mod changes the way food and drink of fects your character you'll see here that a lot of the time to boosts have a much longer time of effect and boost certain aspects carry weight bonuses are better caffeinated drinks increase movement and reload speed and you'll see here that food that heals over time says 0% the food now heals more but more slowly and for a longer time the reason it says 0% is because of limitations for the mod author because the health healed per second was changed to a decimal and the inventory menu can only show whole numbers but they definitely heal you also forgot to get footage for it but it is possible to get addicted to alcohol stems and painkillers and then have withdrawal symptoms this next mod is replacement for the three disciples outfits it replaces them with a very cool looking dark Jedi themed outfit with three different colors it reminds me a lot of the kylo ren mod from the last video and it looks really good with this lightsaber which by the way was added as an update for the realistic lightsabers mod a very very clean armor mod this replaces the starborn suits there's so many variations to choose from with only a couple shown here this one might be one of my favorites especially the variation with the skull I've always seen the starborn suits with the cape and wanted one with the hood which this mod does perfectly also I just learned from the mod page comments that this mod is apparently fully compatible with the modular star born suits mod shown earlier if you want to go helmetless if you're tired of flying so far just to dock at the space station that you came for this mod might be for you I'm showing the 1,000 M version here but as the name suggests you can dog up to a ridiculously generous 5,000 m which would be almost as soon as you pop into the area on a similar note this mod by the same person allows you to loot from space or ship debris from up to 5,000 m with the more reason 1,000 M version being shown here again this mod enhances the Commerce perk and changes the values of each rank of the perk with the final rank allowing you to sell stuff at full value instead of the skimpy vanilla values giving you all the more reason to pick up the expensive junk lying around another perk enhancement giving each rank of the theft skill an additional 30% chance of pickpocketing with the final rank totaling a solid 90% chance instead of the vanilla 5050 % yet another perk mod this one adds a bonus on top of the regular bonuses of each rank of the weightlifting skill that reduces the weight of a different item category for each level and finally to round out the perk section is a mod that fixes and changes a ton of the perks in the game some of the changes are overhauls some of them are minor tweaks and some are simply just more descriptive and specific descriptions there's too many to talk about here so I'll just be showing you a small handful of them but there is a complete list of changes shown on The Mod page next up is hands down my favorite mod of the week this amazing mod adds in over 20 weapons and tools to the game all locked behind three very cheap research categories once researched crafting recipes are added to the workbenches for such things as a throwable talk a gas rocket the cryo rocket and an explosive rocket this dude even added in Deployable ballistic and Laser turrets lethal Minibots and security robots and alien pods to spawn in different alien life including a terramorph last but not least this mod also gives you beacons for spawning in various faction ships to Aid you in space combat or a Trader ship to quickly sell some junk my favorite thing about modding is the aspect of turning games into any experience I want and this mod lives and breathes that Peak is an overhaul mod in which the P stands for the personalized health and damage configuration allowing you to fine-tune incoming and outcoming damage separately and the bonus Health per level for you and enemies the E stands for the enhanced AI combat which just improves every aspect of enemy and friendly NPC combat AA is the assortment of Sprint options allowing you to choose to have no Sprint costs 50% Less in vanilla or default finally K is the kiosk configuration giving Merchants a a ton of credits and an instant vendor refresh this is a very handy mod to have installed I know with the recent cyberpunk updates in DLC that game regained an immense appreciation and following right when Starfield was released sealing some of the thunder so it was inevitable that we would see some cyber Punk weapons and content make their way in this weapon replaces the mom and it looks amazing this is a must-have weapon mod mod this mod seamlessly adds multiple grenades and mines into the level list and spawn tables such as the cryo stun gas and Tesla grenades also it comes with a particle and trapnel mine I think the sun grenade is the best as it almost immediately knocks them out cold and would probably be amazing for clearing ships and the way their body slum so ways makes me laugh a fully Standalone spacit mod this mod adds in the Banshee suit helmet and pack although I prefer the Gunslinger mod this one is a very close second for me considering this mod doesn't replace anything it's very much worth installing the latest installment for the star UI family this time for The Outpost building menu introducing a better build menu separate lists for category building and variations and reducing necessary buttons from 8 to 4 there's also the usual star UI style changes and tweaks that you can expect such as widget tweaks inspect labels and UI key handling all easily configured with the star UI configurator mod there's really a reason to destroy asteroids in Starfield as the loot you get is usually useless garbage or just not very much of anything useful in this clip all I get is very small amounts of iron this quality of life mod aims to change that by giving all asteroids twice the amount of basic resources and a double chance for any rare Resources with this mod installed you can see that I start getting resources such as gold silver aluminum and none of it feels too overpowered this next mod is an inevitable one that we all saw coming because of similar releases for every other Bethesda game the Starfield Community patch is a project of many bug fixes and tweaks this project has received contributions from a large list of mod authors and is far too large for me to spend time talking about but if you've ever modded any Bethesda game before you know this one should be mediate install every single time I don't know about you guys but when I first loaded into the Galaxy map the first place I went to is Earth only to be disappointed by its surface and Landscape while understandable with the game's lower and time frame it's just too Barren and ugly for me this mod author changes that by adding various Flora resources and making it habitable for animal and alien life KN they even gave Earth a breathable atmosphere making it a planet you might want to live on again besides the teram morphs running around apart from the mostly foresty area there's also some beautiful beaches to build an outpost on if outposts aren't your style or you just want to live a more luxurious life the same mod author made a mod that moves flads Villa to Earth to serve as an amazing and spacious this player home this home comes with plenty of rooms and storage and if you want to build or decorate there's plenty of mods that I've showcased for that before so you can customize it to your [Music] liking yet another Halo weapon makes its way into Starfield the srs99 sniper from Halo Reach This weapon replaces the max sniper which is a first for me and great since the Halo DMR already replaces the Hard Target everything from animations to textures are amazing on this weapon besides the glitched scope textures when you're not aiming the mag sniper packs a punch when you can actually aim and hit your target so it's a fitting weapon for the reach sniper to [Music] replace one of the first completely Standalone weapon mods the skull shatter like the name suggests this internal mod for ballistics weapons inflicts skull injury brain injury and brain infection to your enemies the author also has added some negatives for balancing such as increased weapon weight and slower ads speed and finally on the list is the second Stalone weapon mod bone burst this is a magazine mod for all ballistics weapons that inflicts fractured limb injury bone infection and penetrates armor also increases weapons physical and crit damage by 20% these two new mods combined just melt the health bars off these level 70s with no other mods changing damage output and that's it for yet another week
