hey everyone uh welcome to the first episode of Starfield mod Monday where I highlight some of the best mods of the previous week I've broken the mods up into sections replacers overhauls quality of life and bug fix mods I'll be linking and time stamping each mod in the description below so to kick off the replacer section is the legendary Outlaw Star-Lord mod that replaces the Mantis suit next up is the Mandalorian pack in which you have the choice to replace the star-borne armor or the Mantis armor with a beautiful rendition of either the Mandalorian Django fed or Boba Fett armors each choice also has an option with the cape and the Boba Fett also has an alternative gray undersuit option [Music] foreign [Music] if black is your favorite color the Ronin tactical stealth armor may be your preferable mantis replacement suit just looks too bulky for your tastes check out not so bulky which as the name suggests Slims down the Ronin armor [Music] the Ghost Armor is another strong choice for a star-born or mantis replacement featuring an iconic skull on the mask for the last starborn or mantis replacement I present probably my favorite armor retexture posted so far the N7 Mass Effect armor the next mod in this section is actually a weapon mod it's the sicario M1911 which retextures the old world pistol aka the M1911 there's four versions like black and gold black and chrome just gold and just Chrome with an option to mix and match each of the four re-textured parts of the weapon the final mod in this section is actually five mods that come together to make something special but it's also a mod that everyone's probably heard of already first off is Galactic Civil War conversion that replaces the UC police uniforms with Stormtrooper armors great A black Stormtrooper undersuit says exactly as the name entails since the main mod defaults to Gray undersuits to make this mod even better is the Galactic Empire Era name replacement mod which changes all of the UC police names to Simply Be Stormtrooper also the galactic Stormtrooper voice line replacement is something really special in which the mod author uses AI voice generation to change any references of Starfield lore and factions to Star Wars lore seems like the Rebel Alliance is everywhere these days spreading like a virus throughout the Galaxy they like to set up shop in Old facilities places abandoned in the Clone Wars that way they can strike from anywhere ever wonder how the rebels seem to be everywhere it's because they have little outposts everywhere there were so many facilities abandoned after the Clone Wars the rebels used them as forward operating bases all over the Galaxy but those mercenaries the Empire keeps hiring they're a bunch of money hungry scumbags they get treated better than the average Trooper last but not least is the Galactic Empire flag mod which simply changes UC Flags to Empire Flags now on to the next section overhauls first is immersive damage which changes all incoming and outcoming damage to remove as much bullet sponging as possible in this clip I'm just level 14 and while I do deal a decent amount of damage to a level 76 I do much more with the mod and sold [Music] as I mentioned in the beginning this also affects incoming damage I hear it takes the enemy a good while to deplete my health while I'm wearing no actual armor and this is the vanilla damage with the mod I don't die right away but I do take way more damage than usual and with multiple enemies I'm sure it could really make this game's combat a challenge if you're tired of enemies playing stupid in combat or companions this next mod is for you and also perfectly pairs with the immersive damage mod and has the potential to completely change the game for you improved combat AI changes the AI to shoot more use more grenades flank and even take cover you will benefit greatly using these mods while also using the stealth overhaul mod which tweaks many aspects of the Stealth gameplay such as reducing the MPC vehicone detection radius reduces overall NPC detection with player sounds and reduces sounds the player makes with certain actions if you're going to use assault overhaul you will definitely need the non-detectable companion mod which boosts the companion's agility stats to greatly improve their ability to be stealthy alongside you instead of blowing the whole operation [Music] the next section quality of life probably the coolest mod I've seen so far customizable ship Interiors lets you build inside of your ship you can build storage Furniture benches basically anything you can build in a player home there is a caveat however in which if you try to edit your ship via the shipbuilder it will reset everything you build here you can see that I tested flying to another planet and even change my home ship and everything remained the way I customize it be sure your ship is built the exact way you want before you get deep in the interior building [Music] next for some speed mods first is faster Furniture animations which allows you to choose a speed for General Furniture usage such as sitting using benches or most importantly sitting down in the pilot seat of your ship there's multiple speeds but anything past 1.5 gets a little janky [Music] we've been wanting Bethesda to add ladders forever and now that they've added them a lot of us hate them especially when it comes to moving around inside of your ship climbing animation speed helps a ton and same as before I wouldn't recommend anything past 1.5 for the last of the speed mods I gotta mention faster ship animations which affects the speeds of taking off landing and docking with an option for instant docking foreign [Music] foreign [Music] I personally can't stand the docking animation after seeing it a couple times and the instant docking is a lifesaver practically allowing me to get out of my seat as soon as the button press for docking is done of different ammos in this game and ammo types icons and labels simply just adds ammo types to your HUD with no land vehicles in this game traveling of Planet Services is a chore horizontal boost tweak takes advantage of starfield's hidden mechanic which you bind an alternate button to the jump action to allow you to boost forward and set it up and has three preset options for the distance the Boost will take you although I can't recommend using anything pass five times [Music] new Atlantis billboard map just adds a physical map to multiple locations in New Atlantis to make up for the lack of a proper map it's really annoying that we can't see what a skill at the middle or the bottom of a skill tree actually does thankfully visible skill descriptions exist now in-game fov changer simply allows you to change your fov while in-game to any value between 70 and 120 so that you can immediately see if the fov is what you're looking for unfortunately in Starfield you have to get ship parts for ship customizing from different vendors but with shipyards unlocked all parts will be available at one vendor for ease of access according to the comments on The Mod page though some parts are level or story progression locked better food and chems simply just boosts food healing by five times making food somewhat more viable compared to before last but not least with the last section bug fixes one of the most Eerie things in Starfield is the ridiculous distance of the NPC head tracking which allows them to follow you with their eyes from what feels like miles stop staring at me cuts that number down by a ton and makes it much more reasonable [Music] one of the first bugs I and most of the player base noticed almost immediately was the weird circumstance that my character would be stuck staring to his left seemingly a nobody or anything specific whenever I would jump without a weapon in my hands well with Sprint head tracking bug fix that is thankfully fixed and my immersion is satiated I don't know if this is considered an actual bug but I can't stand all tabbing in sarfield because it brings my game to a standstill and when I tab back in it opens the pause menu better alt tab will fix that for you flying using a mouse is uncomfortable since the ship will continue to turn the direction that my mouse is facing flight Control auto align gives a sort of dead zone to help with that the final mod on this list is weapon swap stuttering fix which I don't have footage for since it's never actually happened to me but apparently if you have a lot of weapons with a lot of modifiers the game will stutter when switching weapons that's about it for this week if you made it this far I really appreciate you sticking around if I never see you again I hope you have a great life the only thing I ask of you is some feedback on this video if possible and I hope you have a great day and I'll see you next week [Music]
