scuba hey what's that man yes I know I know Munich's right around the corner I'm taking this serious I wish you could see me right now all right I'm gonna go I'm gonna get my training started [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Munich Germany is world-famous for its style culture and innovation founded in the 1100s it's an amazing mix of old and new and the same can be said for Street League skateboarding today the two worlds collide inside Olympic Park Munich a historic Olympic sports site and the next stop on the 2017 SLS Nike SB World Tour and thanks for tuning in I'm Paul zitzer alongside Geoff Rowley and the finals are about to begin guess what Nyjah Huston is skating in his 33rd final going for his 18th win he's coming off a win at the pro open in Barcelona and incredibly that is not even the biggest story of the night here tonight Geoff tell us about these new kids these new kids are coming in so dang home Utara Gomez an amateur young kid amateur we have two amateurs in the finals here today put together some crazy rail combinations we've got really good scores and then you have our number one qualifier which is to show in Jordan qualifying first Shane needs both of those guys are the same heats at Nyjah Huston and they put the heat on him the question is can they do it again right now we're gonna find out but first let's throw it to the third member of our team Andrew cannon thanks Paul right now I'm standing here with the man in first place going to the finals how are you feeling how are you handling this pressure with such heavy hitters all around you um I mean this is definitely like a test for me like to see I can keep getting because I sometimes get in my head and I can blow things easily while doing that but I mean I'm just wearing about me not really worried about anybody else and not letting you know the scale everybody else like get to me and my heck is this already like pretty like you know there that everybody's gnarly and these are something I'll just do something old contest so it's just about just staying focused and just believing in myself and just like being confident the whole time so we're good luck to Sean back to you guys thank you so much Nyjah Huston and Louise Lopez you see those two guys in gold they're already in the super crown with golden tickets Shane O'Neill looking good Kelvin Hoffler in third he's in the final tonight Carlos Ribeiro he is just in ninth place and he's in the final tonight he's got he's got some room to improve on his race to the super crown Chris Joslin and Torey Pudwill down in 14th and 15th they too are gonna bump up the ranks so the the story tonight Jeff coming out of the prelims Nyjah Huston we talked about him he's been in every single final he's ever skated in Street League he was looking good in prelims not as polished as we've seen him in the past but it's it's all about the new kids turning the screws put meat on the vets I think that level with those new kids is kind of really bringing some new blood some new tricks to the event and putting the heat on guys like Nigel never need to keep pushing keep promoting and keep progressing skateboarding it's a good thing upgrade so it's gonna be interesting to see how these guys hold up in the finals they did they both did well in the Pro Open but this is a different environment in the arena here in Munich so let's meet our skaters in the finals tonight gentlemen Hoffler he missed all of last year due to injuries skated one event but barely here's the 2015 super crown champion he's looking good this year I'm one of my faves right here Tory put real great attitude absolutely ripped it up in the prelims to the great 2014 season he's back on tracks great to see Tory in the finals ain't Carlos Ribeiro out of Brazil qualified it through the 2016 Tampa Pro he got 10th in May at Barcelona at the Pro Open this is second year on the circuit ready to rip and talk about skills mad skills right here mile Silva's come from Sacramento second most demanded SLS Pro from fans behind Joslin that tells you something it tells you a lot and Chris Joslin making it into the final here tonight on his last and final best trick attempting the play lens everybody loves Joslin and you're gonna see why in a moment if you don't already know and here's the man of the hour right here you to origami 18 years old still an amateur yeah third place at the Pro Open the 2017 from Tokyo Japan he's a guy that we're going to see really shake things up tonight I think and what don't we know about Nyjah Huston he was the first champion in 2010 and SLIC won the super crown of 2012 sweat the entire 2014 series he's coming off a win at the Pro Open he's on fire absolutely on fire and then we have this young Jordan 20 years old from Chandler Arizona she's just on the edge of Phoenix brake skate scene out there he won the 2016 10 per m in the 2017 Pro Open let's take a look at how this contest works these are the basics presented by Nike SB there are two sections the Street League the run section and best-trick each skater gets two 45-second runs and five best-trick attempts the top four scores regardless of section count and our tally to give the skaters their final score the closer you get to a 40 the better off you are I'm ready to go the crowd is packed in here it's about a hundred degrees in here so if you see people sweating they didn't turn the AC on but it's a good vibe Kelvin Hoefler is gonna be the first skater in 45 seconds his first run up - and here we go this is the finals nice noseblunt hops at baekje half cap blonde that's an interesting combo is that cat fat tail Wow how's that to shake things up to get this body started very true but I will say not quite the same kind of speed and covering the same amount of the cost of some of the other dudes I think you're right couldn't makes up for with difficulty and its strategy he's like a master strategist that's right he knows how to play the game and he's doing it right now he'll fall towards the end and that nothing else will count by the time that's gonna hurt and there's a slow-mo on that cab to back tail fakie didn't lock the tail in hit the truck kept rolling taking those frontside half cab no slides and as that kickflip backside lipslide lots of technical tricks in that run spread them out they'll get good score seven point eight seven point eight is a really high score great start something to work with for Kelvin and T puds coming in next it's been an SLS pro since 2010 no wins for that could change tonight he skated great this weekend his skating grin the prelims he came out like nothing full-speed made all of his tricks great run great single tricks very consistent that's the Tori that we want to see right there oh it was a fun dude great character excellent personality and you see that in the skateboarding too why is one of the fans they became the screaming for him right now yet sorry get that together hold it down your 15 seconds slowly hey is he is focused six seconds and ended up with a basic no how about shut down the commentator right there people get into back lid there you go t parts it's so great to see him back out here he missed all of 2016 due to injury and he is back there's that long backside tailslide trick the Tories well known for locks it in and then there's that frontside kickflip smash to lipslide just hanging in there crowd went wild on that 8.7 what a great stop huge star for Torey and he is psyched up next let's talk about the pylon let me talk about how this thing works below the skaters name on the run section of best trick tabs the top four scores will be shown in white and the drop scores will show up in gray below that is the leaderboard the current skaters name is highlighted in white and after their attempt their name will be in gray until they skate again the leaderboard will update after every single score and then finally on the bottom tab you'll see what score the skater needs for the lead and if they can't take the lead you'll see the highest placing they can get with a score that's the pylon pretty basic you'll figure it out next in Carlos Ribeiro he got into SLS at the 2060 Tampa Pro so this is his second year as an SLS pro he got 10th place at the Pro Open and he's coming in for his first bharanam to smooth backside Smith grind done all the dragged all the way down [Applause] Karlis has got a great style man doesn't compress his legs a lot just keeps things steady and smooth moving forward [Music] it's why he's in the finals like he's gearing up for that hobo and there's that Wow he pulled that one back that's what the finals will do to you here SLS I'll make you do things you wouldn't usually do get you better that's how we progressed skateboarding we go way out of our comfort zone but sometimes you get away for it sometimes we go down and it's amazing to do it in front of a crowd like this these German fans are hyped oh absolutely we've got a packed crowd and only one any rows grind you see just pulls that back and then there's that just nice over crook all the way look how relaxed he looked in his face he looked like he was just about ready to chill out hands down making it look easy eight point four for Carlos putting up big scores early next gator in this mile Silva's Jeff this year Dark Horse picked for the weekend making the cut presented by Monster Energy does the mile silvus congratulations he is skating in his first SLS final here tonight let's see how he does good for him man he's skating gray on the street let's see we can adapt and hit the streets awesome get on one of the top spots in his files is a nollie front cracked sunset crook into a nollie straight crook nice little combination there George frontside and backside ability that's what I said in the prelims with him and he doesn't a good mix of fakie nollie switch and hits a little bit of everything really paver in that huddle it's a crazy trick switch tailslide got 14 seconds gonna have them go end with a banger to really get one of those super high scores keeps it clean on the frontside feeble good tactics though good tactics warm it up and that walk out I don't think but showing the great line real smooth putting together some good combos so you see what Miles silvus is here in the finals look at that that's miles chillin that's the thing that's just a chilling run just to warm the legs up switch backside tailslide score of 8.2 well three scores up in the eights in a row I am sweatin this is absolutely nuts out here and we're just getting underway here in Munich this is the finals still the comet Nyjah Huston and the rookie DeSean Jordan number one qualifier coming up after this Street League skateboarding Nike SB world tour Munich is presented by Nike SB [Music] and we are at the Nike SB World Tour Munich stop look at this beautiful course that doesn't mean it's easy but for more on it let's go to the streetscape presented by Nike SB the Munich course is 163 feet long and 48 feet wide it's a more technical course with the main stair sets around the height of a six stair with 11 foot long hovers on either side the two rails are 32 feet long and the Fatih to flat II launcher on the raised area means gapping over a five foot quarter pipe there's also no way just to roll up or down the main section and skaters will be forced to flip their boards over a bank to bank gap or find another creative way up and on the far side of the course there's an extended rolling for extra speed but what really sets this course apart is the center feature which has a concave ledge and rail set over the top of manual pads as well as a long roller coaster rail and a dish hub a combo ledge the more creative the approach here the better and then finally a quarter pipe and banks round out this absolutely incredible munich course [Music] taking another look there at the course we have for skaters left with run number one here in the finals next up Chris Joslin 2016 was his rookie year he made it to the Super crown he's trying to get back there just gets away from we have a packed crowd here tonight skate fans in Germany great to see now psyched on the level of skateboarding that they're seeing this is the best skateboarding in the world right now these guys are absolutely annihilate on the street course especially this dude comes on board slide he can make anything 14 seconds yeah doesn't quite get the flipping the switch frontside flip not quite a heavy hit and score I don't think for the first runner here for Chris hey we know he can make it up with best trick he did back in the prelims getting in on his last try he's looking for his first win he's that big spin kickflip very very well executed and has that kickflip gap it's a frontside boardslide so it gets a couple of pretty technical tricks in there but not enough scores in 5.1 that puts Joslin in fifth place for now next in rookie he's not even pro he's a mitts Utah ago made from Japan he's looking like he's opposed he's not on this thing no problem right I think that am status is gonna change quick when he knows he can do it right got into the finals in one of the top spots right he finished in Barcelona in third place he's back in the finals back to back look it up textbook rail tricks these planets meant pretty smart too but he isn't covering the hole cause I will say that but he's a young skateboarder he's going to keep progression keep developing there's that backside 360 the crowds feeling it that stoked uneasy amateurs in the biggest contest in the world in front of all fans that he's cool skateboarders he's grown up idolizing have you no wonder the craft recognizes that kid for him look at a focus as that 360 judo [Applause] Wow and he starts up with an 8.9 that is huge okay so after most of the guys in the first heat first runs so Utah right over there straight up into first place in his first run but we have a lot of heavy skating yet to come Nyjah Huston on deck what what more needs to be said let's see what he can do in his first run up to I mean I think he knows he's got to skate to the best of his ability in this one a lot of guys skating really well here too and it's a good course it looks like it's been good for everything he's up long tickly worried hanging in the water recovery like seven 20 seconds still hustling - he knows that if he keeps moving he's gonna get an extra couple of tricks which makes those goals go up he knows I'll play the game put an empty sandwich to SL s fine except for one and he does he wasn't in that event quick back smoothly well that was a lot of tricks hey what can you say can you compare nitrous run to Utah's run it and where would you place it I think Naja did a little bit more extra more tricks he's getting a little bit faster coming a little bit more of the pulse and he gets a 9.0 and I think rightfully so straight out the gate with an ID for Nyjah Huston there's that fakie over crooks which was a quick recovery from that Blanc kickflip and then you have that kickflip to from cord and then that long flat nose grind down the rail to end off that first run nine Club for Nyjah think about Deshawn Jordan is up next talk about pressure he's in the final for the second time in a row just like Yuto but he qualified in here at first and he's following up a nine honey just watch Yuto get an eight point nine and Nagi then get a nine he's got he sweat we'll see how he hands it right now is that it may I give something one another quick frontside 270 unit he wants it man you gonna do well Vanessa less you have to really want it you know what I mean you have to control all of that pressure and skate to the best that you believe if you want to stand a chance against these guys there's no half-stepping it's full steps which brings up on a shaky run from here kind of not flow into good like we see when he gets those first couple of combinations understandable understandable it's a huge cloud he's the last skater to go when he's a young skater install amateur we're still going to see that progression coming as time flies by [Applause] there's a switch frontside belong the first trick first run didn't really help help this blow ended it out nicely remember the top four scores overall count so you can blow both your runs and that wraps up attempt number one here in the finals with Nyjah Huston breaking down the 9 Club barrier early on so stick around attempts and number two in the runs coming up next welcome back to the SLS Nike SB world tour here in Munich we have one of the most unique courses in SLS history here this weekend and here's Carlos Ribeiro to walk us through it what up guys this car does habido we're hearing munich this is it 2017 course I'm gonna give you a little tour in the park let's get it so we got this wavy flat bar right here just move a manual pad with robots right here you'll see people are hitting you up and down the ledge right there we got this skirt flat virus it's great fun the curves make makes it a little sketchy but it's actually a more fun you know makes you a warrior so we got a way flat ledge right here it's pretty fun too ICT our game in fact today we have the Euro gap right here in the middle is pretty nice this is really good we got this new double sat right here three flat tray pretty nice and small perfect hub on the site yellow and a rail to around I like that same thing right here great flat three nice huh by backside for regular the other side we got the quarter pipe there I see people flying off it and landed in the bank it's pretty fun people who actually very high in the sky I seen a dressed its parts London they think this is a the best part so far I'm actually having a lot of fun I've got to get back in there see you guys there take a look at the current standings here tonight Nyjah Huston up in the first place with a perfect nine called Bayou Tahoe dome a and T puds running out the top three Carlos Ribeiro gave us the tour he's in fourth place big thing still to come [Music] golden ticket goes to the winner and will end up it at the super crown Nyjah Huston already has that golden ticket we're gonna throw it down to Andrew cannon what you got Andrew well with one run under our belts it is definitely a battle of veterans versus rookies we got Nyjah Huston right now in the top spot he was sandwiched in there moving into the finals between DeSean Jordan and lead and Utah ago me who's currently sitting in second place so we've got one more run and five attempts left this final is going to be gnarly back to you guys hey good call Andrew I think you're right it's already been gnarly it's only gonna continue what kind of juice everybody has left you know well they better save it because they have one run left each and then five best-trick attempts top four scores count overall winner goes to the super crown this guy I know wants to return their 2015 super crowd chants missed pretty much all the last year he's back in 2017 miss Calvin Hoffman Jane quick combo taking the same as last time or he's just trying to improve upon that the question is how's he going to improve upon that what's he gonna throw in the bag he's got so many tricks how about an allele it won't put the fact that wow he's getting them in hard to get the speed coming that way up the way he went also that was big this one's gonna wipe out is in the school bonus old school flow interesting choice kickflip from pond that was a bangin run that's gonna get a great school let's see how the judges handle that one over the whole course lots of one-two combos flipping in slipping out spinning around pretty much doing it all including the front side boneless like kick click from from 8.4 crowd feels like he should have got a little bit higher score I think so Kelvin came into that run in 6th place gets the 8.4 he's in first for now but he's the only skater with two scores T puds coming in next he's in fourth place needs a 7.6 to take the lead Wow look how casual that nollie frontside kickflip was I like to see her when Tori's on finding so fun to watch [Applause] he has one of the best backside tail slides in skateboarding every combination of them to every flip in flip out frontside and backside lipslide so he's going down oh that was going to be one right there that kickflip frontside lipslide rode a little too close to the rail before you pop that one you have to get to do it real far away from the rail get way over the top just lost that flow hopefully Doctore stays positive through that a great first run [Applause] all smiles T PUD in fourth with the eight point seven needs a seven point six it's gonna be tough to get it with a few Falls two point seven that's low that's extremely low take a run distance did the judges even see him okay he did something judges I'm talking to you I don't get on it Carlos Ribeiro he gave us the tour now he's here to give us some drinks [Music] [Applause] all these guys are in this final countries and their absolute rip isn't looking pretty casual to a lot of confidence going on I think people really feel in this course as you saw Carlos explained moments ago [Applause] [Music] well he got an eight point four on the board 180 fakie nosegrind which I've yet to see in bail / Provo almost less that way and just decide to pull it over it's very difficult to transfer like that I hope the judges note those little tiny in differences Carlos coming in in fifth place is that nollie crooked grind hop out and concave ledge and only 180 fakie nosegrind no problem that's a good score for Carlos won't beat each other score but that's still good one to put on the leaderboard he's got an eight point four and an eight point two we don't know what's gonna happen but he's in good position he is in a great position miles Silva's coming in for his second run in his first ever SLS final there's a to quick crooked grind combust again front side and back side and all the way into the first one all the into the second one [Music] backside noses are that's it lost that flow coming up a point to which is a great score in the run section two-fifty he's just looking up at how much time he has is gonna have to squeeze this one on a little bit faster or he's gonna run out of time four seconds and this will knock down quick basement still looking confident out there looking strong it's hard to judge the clock especially when you haven't skated in this setting before timing it out of run perfectly to 45 seconds and especially when you miss that one trick it's hard to go off I just lost five or six seconds make that up on the end of the district you have to think fast guys that win this contest I'll do well in this contest regularly the brain works like that they're one step ahead of everything mile scores in 7.2 so not a bad score boots him up into third place so just four more run attempts left to go Nike SB wants you to upload your best trick clips to Instagram for a chance to be featured on their website so get on it show yourself in action and tag them with Nike SB or hashtag check me SB we're in the second runs here in the finals and Munich Nyjah Huston put down a 9.0 in his first run Yuto origami with the 8.9 it's the youth versus the veterans their second runs coming up next stick around [Music] welcome back to the Nike SB World Tour Munich this is attempt number two in the run section Chris Joslin just barely made us last trick attempt in the prelims again here here we go 45 seconds that's an interesting set soap right there only in over the flat bank getting to the quarter pipe this is that tre flip currently in eighth place with a five point one in his first run he's got work to do he does I have a feeling he's gonna have to make up for this in the best-trick section he usually doesn't have a problem with that yeah big spin kickflip beautiful another guy it's really fun to watch really exciting you never know what he's gonna do just freestyle is run a lot kind of like the wine will do that miss a trick land somewhere else and make it up with a pig that you never saw coming looks like he's gearing up and he's not gonna get this this is primo catch and he away from that kickflip he's bored and then kept rolling as that big spin kickflip again a little bit sketchy all the way through that and a nice tight compact frontside kickflip but look in the little sketchy on a couple of those tricks I think the heats get in tune hopefully save some of that energy for the best trick five point four Chris Jocelyn in fifth but he's gonna have to go to best trick you toe her go may is in rut number two [Applause] ever try that's what I like to see right then going for it that's how you win this contest it's been fake sports like fakie [Applause] Niger they're hustling ten seconds [Applause] this is going to be his last trick wait bow clicks backside noseblunt didn't quite get that wait where he wanted him to be gray from mute only needs a 7.8 to move into the lead Carlos Ribeiro in that but one spot with a 16.6 overall there's that big airtime crowd goes wild for that one oh they love the back three trout stoked on this dude man they really get behind him nollie heelflip no slide good to see you young kid doing so well so positive 8.0 there you go you toe back in the lead with a sixteen point nine overall score Carlos Ribeiro in second rounding out the top three is Kelvin Hoffler and Nyjah Huston is on deck he needs an 8.0 for first he got a night in his first run so let's see it just pulls that one round start up with two early basic flip tricks yourself right captain backside spin kickflip a lot of tricks I'm a full flip fix so far the rail combos veg gumbo that's how he gets ice goes like that he really does hit a lot of the obstacles doesn't cruise around more like some guys do but he speeds it up and hustles and gets in those tricks all of those different spots of course guys could take note on that one pop out take flip back flip gets away and that will be right on the buzzer it looked like he popped his tail after the buzzer so technically if he did that would not count as a fall what do you think pull that's the second rung there's that tre flip that you've barely squeaked through with what do you think is that gonna beat his first run it's right there in the neighborhood I think the difference being though even though that fall was after time it's kind of like it leaves that that something left to be done there's a score eight point eight because you know he wanted that last trick and he didn't get it in there so there you go eight point eight Nyjah Huston in the lead Yuto getting bumped out a second the chaud Orton is in for his second of two runs he's coming in in eighth place slide gets those first two combo it's confidence between technical rail tricks is already getting really good schools [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] I just leveled one fake yeah for that big a flip you know how you're an SLS final yeah you can you're an amateur he's still smashing us which ones that one slide backside nose again getting a load tricks in him Nige on you too really commercial in those tricks in these runs I'll be ahead of the buzzer that's not good counts in the hearts and minds of this German crowd that is for short that was for the skateboard fans out there in Germany seeing some new blood on the scene in the finals right though DeShawn's got to feel great about that run he can look back and say why did I bail the blunts fakie but yeah but I got so many tricks in like this one very first trick 360 flip lipslide you can see he's a little bit affected by being in the finals like here a little bit hustle a little bit shaky but he made the big tricks scores in 8.7 that's a great school to put in from the run section that's one of the higher scores we've seen here in the finals take a look at the current standings after two runs best tricks yet to come Nyjah Huston up on top with at 17.8 followed by Utah ago me and Carlos Ribeiro carro Kelvin Hoefler miles Silva's to Sean Tory and jabs letting rounding out the top eight Nyjah has already got his ticket to the super crown he's trying to get a ticket for his friends I guess here's the upcoming tour schedule we're moving to Chicago August 13 tune in and then wrapping up the year in Los Angeles with the super crown World Championships September 15 get your tickets now be there be there will be square so Nyjah Huston taking the lead after the run section when we return the order will switch Nige is gonna be the last skater Yuto will be the second last Gator this battle is brewing here in the finals stick around best trick coming up next welcome back to Munich Germany the land of beer and bratwurst and beamers the super crown standings Nyjah Huston and luan Lopez have golden tickets and then Shane O'Neill Kelvin hofler luan Felipe Thiago and Tommy goes round out the top eight as they stand tonight but Carlos Ribeiro and ninth is here in the finals you got Chris Joslin in the finals with Torey Pudwill so anything can happen I think that leaderboard is gonna change up quick tonight Yuto and DeSean Jordan blasted into the league at the Pro Open making the final and making noise let's get a better handle on Street leagues two newest pros so we ended up here because we qualified with the two highest scores at the Pro Open and now we're part of the street in - yeah I don't think a lot of people were expected you thought about saying I was hyped to do this game with him when he killed it like all weekend and he got top three issues an awesome for his first time he's streaming his pressures an amateur so I don't think a lot people was expecting them to do well he killed him my goal at the Pro Open was to just make it into the Tour like I didn't plan on making the finals and going that far with the whole thing and then making the finals just blessed but I accomplished what I wanted to accomplish and what my goal was getting the opportunity to go skate there and I'm height like I mean I remember watching the what contest little time it was morning.the being and skate with all these dudes I was skating with some of our favorite skaters so it's like oh yeah you took it you want to say anything that is ok this is an amazing amazing crowd here tonight in Germany cheering on Yuto and Deshawn let's talk about how this contest works there are two sections to Street League the run section of the best-trick each skater gets two 45-second runs which we've seen and now five best-trick attempts coming up the top four scores from each skater regardless of the section then get told to give the skaters their final score those are the basics presented by Nike SB best trick section five attempts top four scores overall count Chris Joslin is going to be the first skater in and you know he excels it best-trick he's coming into this with no pressure cuz he's in eighth or he's got all the pressure in the world depends on you want to see it Jeff what do you think well I think in the prelims you can have played the game he did want a trick they did super long gap to granule em he's gonna get some good high scoring points for that Wow that was massive they did that so well and there's your example right there big time and if you flip it to you're gonna get a great school big backside kickflip he got his feet on so early it's like a backside 180 8.24 Chris Joslin and there you go he's on the hunt moving him straight up in the first place but he's the only Skinner to have three scores on the board so far Torey Pudwill is now in eighth place [Music] that's okay still got one good score in that Tori can make that up in a moment that big backside 360 ollie DeSean Jordan little confused with the form and said my to DeShawn's in seventh place heating to 4.9 take the lead 360 kick that nose like Jevon that when a mini stove you made that he's like stuff to goodness that will work does that blows up slo-mo tre flip incredible yeah one's going to get a great school eight points for and DeSean Jordan moves into the lead with a twenty two point three way out ahead of Chris joslyn's eighteen point seven mile Silva's needs a seven point zero four first he is in seventh place to say this is one of my strengths like crystals in the single tricks where they can just show you their abilities to do things that other guys can't do agree like that one right then the nollie back so in a two switch 50/50 very awkward trick you can see look he's looking where he's gonna go and everything else is blind just misses that front truck almost going into a switch for a feeble set see that yep the judges saw that I think regardless he rolled out of it seven point six is still a solid score solid enough to put him in first place with the 23 and Kelvin Hoefler coming in in seventh place he needs a six point nine for first so a lot of movement on the leaderboard until these guys put up four scores this is kelvins first best trick attempt to fight for the cap backside noseblunt perhaps or do you think that was back side nose grind you know what he's done a lot of cab back nose grinds but that did look to be a cab back nose blunt so you got a little bit engine right [Music] Carlos Rivera on deck Oh nollie 180 to Bannock grind as a beautiful trick and you're right Jeff he does not miss those tricks he's got those unlocked nollie back 180 fakie nosegrind nollie bennett's when he doesn't properly look how much he dips that down locks in comes out cleanly keep that speed a little bit of compression 8.8 and that's why goes into it fast comes out of it fast it's a lot harder to do tricks when you're moving at speed it's the move allows us to think a lot faster new leader Carlos Ribeiro and yuto's in coming in in six needs at eight point six and there's that nollie cab to switch tail how good is you tone that's one of those tricks men the only a few people cannot do those kinds of tricks Paul Rodriguez for example is a lot of nollie 360 and the reason for that trick youto put in a nine-point one on the nollie 270 switchback tale a nightclub for Yuto he stopped to bring the heat right now the question is what's going on his head and what's going on in Nyjah Huston head right now not just hustling every time he's like dude I gotta bring the bring out the fire what we want we want to say yeah Lipsyte that was huge that is about a 12-foot gap to backflip off not a very steep kicker fast long see what the judges think about that one and here we have the slow-mo full-speed gap in across the backside lipslide cut was the whole rail going down very nicely done Nigel sweet as a whistle score is in eight point seven that puts Nyjah Huston now up on top with a twenty six point five but it's close it's getting closer we're gonna see after one or two more schools are on there really where we're standing pressure will start building on each one of those guys knowing that they have to make a certain trick at a certain level and this is the finals Chris Joslin back in he's in sixth place leads a 7.9 he can get that [Applause] all right this is a big course and it's not big enough for Chris he barely caught the end of that pledge because he went so far and then we'll say the drop down a hole lead up to this is sick over one flat legend down Burley smashed those trucks in that was almost a slappy almost just cleared it just straight Ollie to over it 8.1 for Joslin that was really sick and really difficult to do it's just yeah yeah it was it was huge so no problems Chris Joslin taken the lead he's the first person to put four scores on the board t-pod's is in 8th place he needs a 4.9 just that big old backside 360 ollie and uh leaplet manual across the whole up and down flat ground Torey Pudwill is skating so well look at that determination no foot movement no feet off lands bolts keeps that speed that was sick teapots feeling it 8.1 he still got some work to do because he only has three scores on the board and he has a 2.7 on one of his run scores to Shawn Jordan sit in 6th place needs a 4.6 to take the lead for that bigger flip from boardslide young guys are bringing out those technical rail tricks and the older dudes are bringing out the heavy hobo tricks there you see the difference right you know when you're going for those heavy tech tricks though you better be feeling confident and solid on your board because if you're not you see what happens mile silvus he's in fifth needs a three point nine switch backside heelflip the tail slide needs to get another high eight plus on there which is totally capable of doing every one of these guys is skating so well today Kelvin Hoefler down in eighth place [Music] pick that frontside bluntslide Calvin's playing the game like he's a seasoned veteran he's like what do I need right now okay this one I'll cover it he's the ultimate favorite frontside bluntslide fakie now in zero 8.0 but not far off the lead Kelvin's got a twenty four point two joslyn's in pursue the twenty six point eight Carlos Rivera looking for his first SLS win here was in fourth needs a one point five to take the lead [Music] that was insane switch backside noseblunt slide he's got it like that my goodness that's some Pepe Pinton skateboarding now we have a slow-mo of this one look how high you have to go up to lock into that tree and then controlled in that head balance is difficult in that you see can almost slams him down eight point eight foot Carlos and he takes the lead way out there in front with a thirty four point two joslin in second a to twenty six point eight youto poor ago may in fourth place needs an eight point three for first [Applause] now what would that be ball a Yuto switch front 180 two three move time yes which one is heartbeat okay if you can get into the people you're golden but that's they just doesn't lock in a lot on now and see do you actually just missed it if the judges saw that one he's gonna get a pretty low score he gets a high score he got lucky he got look he got lucky God's damn lucky ready that's one over the judges 8.7 pre-new so truck did not lock in so you win some you lose so many won that one yeah congratulations all right best trick attempt number two for Nyjah Huston he's in fourth place needs an eight point three to take the lead going for that kickflip frontside boardslide saw him do that in the prelims but then he's going to do it again in the finals to be right on the top of the game stick a fork in attempt to a fest trick Jeff three more to come from Munich true skate is the official mobile game of Street League skateboarding download the SLS courses today and get busy see if you can replicate some of Utah's moves out there two attempts in the books with Yuto dropping the hammer with a nine in his first try attempt three coming up next [Music] Nike SB World Tour Munich stop we're an Olympic Park in Germany home of the 1972 Olympic Games let's take a look at our current standings Yuto or a gum made of rookie up in first place for the 34.7 he got third place and the Pro Open his lowest score right now is an eight point zero he is on his way to a golden ticket to the super crown if he can hang on to the lead Nyjah Huston he only has three scores on the board and an eight point three will move him into the lead so this is far far from over Jeff you got any predictions what do you think is you don't gonna win this is night you're gonna come back is DeSean gonna win it I mean look at the names we have in the finals right here we ever-lovin you dudes or guys that i've done pretty good in past really contests or SLS contests but haven't quite in been in that first or second spot as frequently like Chris Joslin right here so it's anybody's game we're gonna find out right now he's the last Trix three best-trick attempts left to life for Joslin so undoubtedly he needs some nines or he's gonna he's not gonna win it you know right he's capable of doing it just needs to pull out those big guns go full-speed fake gods tee putts coming in next needs a average of eight point 700 gone for that nollie kickflip backside five-o it looked like that would have been high-scoring point Tory's gonna stay down in eighth place for now DeSean Jordan and next he's down in seventh place qualified in first needs an average of eight point seven he can do that that is the front side now that's going to be a high score at high 8 8 9 better be it better be that's a difficult one 9.19 to shark Jordan that's his second 9 here today he put one down extremely technical rail trick right there listen and spinning that's an elite group of humans in the world who can put down nines and finals in the find a big arena with all these skate bands all behind them that can do it so deshawne Jordan in third place not far behind Carlos and Yuto mile syllabuses in that's what we wanted to see that was beautiful is so clean switch heelflip back to nail so coming into that in 7th place with the 23 but that's only with 3 scores on the board so he's going to be looking at some serious advancement on the leaderboard locked in perfect I hear a reaction to what I think might be not that boy remember 9.1 welcome to the club miles it's tricks like that that get you in it miles moves up into third place bumping DeSean into four that's heavy way to flirt the heat on the Kelvin Hoefler on deck he only has three scores on the board he is an average of a point eight for first he's in seventh he's the 2015 Super Crown champions no stranger to put it down when it counts [Applause] switching around to back down we see him do that one in the best-trick a lot of different colors pocket you could pull that one out whenever he wants it that's good timing for Kelvin Hoefler now that's a cool trick nice combination but it's not as difficult as some of the other tricks we just saw you think of lipstick from court and the judge is note the crowds going wild because it's a cool one to see but it is not as hard as some of those last tricks eight point seven still a pretty good score amazing score Kelvin Hoffler now up in third place happy enough with that he's not complaining Carlos Ribeiro coming in in second place he's in ninth in the race for the super crown but for banging scores already on that not only 180 Bennett remit all the way around that could back that'll be huge if he makes that will be new to tries left and now what does he do tactic was did he stick on that one or does he move on to another trick he he can do that next try easy so I was his coach a tongue stick on it and make it you tell you his holiness seeing that knowing inward helpless he is well on his way to take in this contest no one saw coming cuz I've exceed I don't think anyone's seen him do that usually the cameraman barely got it he just Chuck's Jayden boom crowd certainly seen it there it is look how small [Music] crowd is booing at something is passionate it's a bunch of lizard Kings out here youto getting the 8.8 he is still in first place with a thirty five point five more than a point ahead of Carlos Ribeiro in second place I think well Nyjah needs a 9.14 first he's in seventh place thank you that will most likely do I mean talk about how difficult that is Jeff well it's got a little bit of everything right technical as you go on fast into a low flat rail lower room for error and then 20-foot slide go and flap them down so you have to adjust your speed and it's a pullet Bakey that's a great score right there I get to 9 9 Club again and again and zero I'd say the judges got that one right the fact that he came out fake he made it that much more difficult to control and that's what good at that nine point zero so I have to agree with them he did it very very well Kent full speed oh I fully agree and that is nyjah's third nine of the day and he moves into second place same score as youto tiebreak puts him in second okay fourth attempt here best trick in the finals the SLS Nike SB World Tour Munich back to the top the order Chris Joslin coming in in seventh place [Music] thanks man so Jazmin needs an average 9.7 for first that is I mean I don't know that might be well outside the realm but this was a good effort well it's gonna take him up to leave the Bulls the more he gets those highest scoring points he has one more chance he's just working his way up right now he's gonna have a hard time to really get in the first place but some of those other scores Chris gets an eight point six meaning he is technically not able to win on his last attempt T putts sitting in eighth place [Music] went really fast into that one Tori did just lose in that flow this is a long day for these guys prelim straight into finals in this heat Tori was handling it really really well early all the way through so t1t putts can't win either the Shawn Jordan is in needs a nine point four for first trying the laser heal the flat bank over the big training so deshawne has won best trick attempt of mild syllabus in next in fifth place needs a point to average for first so he's got to put some hammers down this is his first ever SLS final [Music] I like the way switching it up to he's going from both sides the course missing the flag still has one more attempt the best he can do now is third place and he's got to drop the hammer just to get that hey that would be great to see miles in third place that would be great let's hope he makes that last tree [Applause] and this is where Kelvin usually shines when that pressures on him and he pulls out those bigger tricks 180 run close but not so Kelvin is eliminated from a chance to win also best he can do is third place he's in fourth it's gonna take a lot to get there Carlos Ribeiro right now he's on the podium in third place needs a 9.6 to move up let's see if he goes back to this no he looks like he's switching it up Oh going for the switch flip backside nose mean he should have gone for that Banach grind Rivas OU's very close to that I don't know that that was gonna get him a 9.6 but still alright let's talk about you toe and Nyjah final second these guys they're tied right now with a 35.5 but you toe wins the tiebreak because he has a 9.1 that's the highest score of the day and Yuto is in for his second last best trick attempt the nollie all the way around - - yeah I don't know what you call that but he went for it now that's gonna switch things up a little bit right here if not you can put it no the high score especially in 9 on that it's gonna switch that heat he knows looking at me sweat and he's like I got to do this that's it he's get it happened 8.8 will get him the lead right now [Music] [Applause] that was amazing that wasn't to see it still of that in the air that is incredible kickflip backside lipslide that was incredible start to finish nine point three nine Club number four for Nyjah let's sit back and look at this well he's pulling out the best that he's got right there that kickflip backside lipslide Keys tickets but as fast as he could go and then gets lucky doesn't flip outside the whole course land in the parking lot outside and he did it so well to Nyjah Huston literally launching his way into first place fifth attempt still to come Nyjah Huston going for his night teeth win he's enjoying the moment yeah like to see it nice thankful that he made the trick and he didn't get rekt out there there are your current standings once again Nyjah Huston up on top with a 36 point one followed by the rookie Yuto hora Gombe from Japan and Carlos Romero rounding out your top three Kelvin miles to Shaun Joslin and T putts all in the hunt trying to make it to the super crown and Nyjah Huston with another nine that makes three of them already and when we come back its attempt number five and the question is will Nyjah get his second win in a row here on the SLS world tour Street League skateboarding Nike SB world tour Munich has been brought to you by Nike SB and then part by Monster Energy and this is it final attempts and best trick here in the finals at the Nike SB World Tour Munich stop Nyjah Huston way out in the lead with a 36 point one and there are two skaters here who can take that lead away from him Jeff both of them the rookies DeSean and Yuto but first Chris Joslin he's not done yet no he's gearing up for getting down Justin's going fast right here [Applause] now that was a huge frontside kickflip what a great crowd we have it this is one of the best SLS contests we have ever seen one of the best finals of SLS issue these guys are all going off so what we want to see needs a nine point four for third he gets a nine and that moves him up into fourth place and that is going to be good for super crown points look at that he has to catch it throwing it and push it to cover that distance watch what's the way he did it have to do it that way to cover it and grab that speed keep that momentum [Applause] as a great school that was about as far and as fast as you can take that trick so that's what we know it gets gored agreed Torey Pudwill he's in eighth that is where he's going to stay but this is for the homies Jeff in the grips of Beck's minute never seen that ceiling man of course it's Tory's psyche in the crowd out somebody is stoked to get that t-pod's ProModel and hat so rad to see T puds back here in SLS after missing last year put it down here in the finals in Munich DeSean Jordan up next needs a 10-4 place [Applause] don't put a big old laser flip Tushar Jordan amazing show throwing this board for the crowd careful everyone be careful what a showing out here from DeSean Jordan he's going to finish in seventh place that has nothing to sneeze at two back-to-back finals for the rookie and miles Silva's on deck he's a nine point four 430 he is in sixth place [Music] and in sixth place miles will stay well that's a great confidence builder there for miles in the finals he knows he can do it now so as we work down the list here you Tamura go May is the only skater here who can take the lead back from Nyjah Huston it's gonna be it's gonna take a lot of you 29.4 but first kelvin Hoffler oh ho gumpa the same tick again gets away from I think call us if he pulls out one of those crazy hobart tricks right and hit could really switch it up a little bit agreed Calvin hofler gonna stay in fifth place again he's been putting it down this year after missing almost all of 2016 due to injury and now Carlos Ribeiro he is in third place he can improve into second but he needs a nine point six question is what's he going to try to do to get there what about to find out a lot of times it comes down to these final tricks for these guys I'm going for the same one the switch flip backside noseblunt slide you go respect that wall for growth right the great showing for call I said today very smooth all the way through start to finish top to bottom Carlos Ribeiro is going to finish in third place on the podium and then there were two Yuto hora go May up next he needs a 9.4 to take the leads of Nyjah Huston he's going for that's the last victory and trying to go back-to-back youto rook rookie he was on the podium in Barcelona and he wants a win here but it's got to be big penny for those sorts that could have potentially done it and Nyjah Huston back-to-back Barcelona pro open first place Munich World Tour Nyjah Huston first place congratulations he might be going for the sweep this year like he did in 2014 Jeff Hall well-deserved win right there for Nagy but he felt that heat all the way through which is good for the legs good for the season this is one of the best concepts I have seen in years let's take a look at our final results Nyjah Huston with a 36 point one that score is huge followed by Utah ago made from Japan with a thirty five point five and Carlos Ribeiro what an amazing top three rounding out the top eight Chris Joslin hofler mile Silva's Deshawn Jorge and T puds now let's throw it down to Andrew cannon down here right now with our Victor Nyjah Huston now she fell in that first kickflip front board you got the next one what was going through your mind rolling into that kickflip back lip though honestly just all I had like at the time you know like I didn't practice that at all I barely even skated that rail but uh you know I had to bring it like everyone out there was just hyping me up Congrats to you token got all those dudes I can't be like kids only I think he's only 18 he's not he's got plenty of plenty of Street League someone in the future well congratulations a victory well deserved two in a row back to you boys speaking of amazing skateboarding Monster Energy highest scoring trick right there from Nyjah nine point three full speed kickflip backside lipslide and then the mega launch path backflip what a way to win it here's your overall a super crown standing so once again Nyjah Huston got the golden ticket Louie Lopez has his golden ticket but things got shaken up a little bit here Kelvin Hoefler in second Shane O'Neill and third Carlos Ribeiro jumping up from ninth place boom now he's in the super crown as things stand now two on Oliveira in fifth we play Gustavo in seventh and the Bubble Boy Chris Joslin in eighth place but he came in in 14th so a vast improvement Tiago Lemos now trying to claw his way into super crown tee puds in 10th Chris Cole all those guys they got work to do now let's take a look what's coming up for the rest of the season we're going to Chicago next in August Chicago Illinois World Tour stop number 2 and then wrapping it up this year the super crown World Championships in Los Angeles September 15 cannot wait [Music] once again and absolutely huge congratulations goes out to all the skaters here in the finals but especially Nyjah Huston for taking the win here today in Munich going to the super crown for Geoff Rowley and Andrew Cannon and all of us at SLS I'm Paul zitzer thanks so much see you in Chicago [Music] you
