Street League is off to an incredible start two events three winners crowned on the very last trick first stop Glendale [Music] [Applause] in the history of skateboarding and now Las Vegas Nevada where we will crown our very first overall champion this is Street League skateboarding [Applause] [Music] welcome to Las Vegas Nevada we are at the Thomas & Mack Center for the final stop of Street League skateboarding CC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy and I can tell you right now this is gonna be the craziest one yet and we've had two incredible contests in the first contest fifteen-year-old Nyjah Huston kickflip down a frontside boardslide on his final trick to win $150,000 in the very first Street League event in the second stop in Ontario California Chaz Ortiz had a single trick a two point five to win 150,000 dollars and guess what folks he had the most exciting bail in skateboarding history leaving Sean Malto the winner and our second stop in Ontario today stop is going to be no different not only is this the final stop or we will crown another hundred and fifty thousand dollars Street League winner but we're also gonna crown an overall champion right now Nyjah Huston is in the driver's seat to be the very first Street League overall champion as long as he finishes in fifth or higher but there's guys coming after Shane O'Neill still has a shot to win the overall title as well as Chaz Ortiz so it is going to be a crazy crazy contest even qualifying came down to the last couple tricks let's take a look at some highlights it was Crisco who completely dominated the qualifying scoring the most points in the history of Street League qualifying with 102.7 he did not miss a single trick inside the line section and he did not miss a single trick inside the tech section he is showing that he really really wants to win his very first Street League event a big story of the weekend Sean Malto our winner from Ontario did not qualify virtually leaving him out of the race for the championship Nyjah Huston all he has to do is place fit there higher today and he is our overall Street League champion of 2010 our big story from qualifying break Lutzke Eric Koston and Ryan Sheckler all had one trick to make it to the finals first up Greg Lutzke fakie flip nose grind set the bar next up Eric Koston he only needed a two point six but failed to make the 502 switch crook final skater was Ryan Sheckler he needed a 4.5 and with that backside tailslide fall Greg Lutzke was in the finals luckily for scheckler he put it down in the last-chance qualifier just edging out Torey Pudwill and Sean Malto let's take a look at our qualifying results of those guys that did not make the cut I am joined by the one and only Steve Vera let's take a look at who qualified Steve come in seventh Ryan Sheckler sneaking in with that Last Chance Qualifier and again Craig Lutz could just on the bubble that fakie flip fakie nosegrind put him in six spot and it's Paul Rodriguez obviously obviously gonna be in the final Shane O'Neill who had a little trouble in Ontario is back in the finals for the Las Vegas finale 16 year old Chaz Ortiz has a chance at taking the overall Street League title that is if Nyjah Huston is not on his game today and that is unlikely sitting in pole position the number one qualifier Chris Cole still looking for his first big title we are all set and ready to go we will be right back with Street League skateboarding CC Pro Tour fuelled by Monster Energy right here on ESPN Street League skateboarding DC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy brought to you by DC skateboarding since 1994 and Monster Energy fuelled by Monster Energy welcome back to Street League skateboarding ZC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy we are inside the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas Nevada and we are set and ready to go let's take a look at the format Steve format consists of four sections seven skaters seven attempts per section each attempt is scored from a zero to ten by five different judges your cumulative score is what matters here that's why every trick counts let's take a look at our first section it's a unique one Steve this section is different than the first two stops there's no legends there's no rails for these guys to jump on they are actually forced to flip their boards and this gave a lot of guys a lot of trouble in the qualifier yeah that's very very true but whoo it didn't give trouble to is our seven finalists because to make this final you have got to be able to skate everything a guy who really shined in [Applause] you just you're going to get way more points that's why his peak click out of a five point six there hopefully Lutzke takes notice to that strategy and applies it to his own skating this section guys are really gonna have a choice go bigger off the middle or more technical on the side let's go with a 4.3 as you can see the guy up next is in green the guy after him is in gray and the dot on the Left indicates whether [Music] smaller bump to bump 360 to look pretty flawless I'd say it's switch and regular wants to look pretty much the same took me a second another guy that you can't tell which way skate and Shane O'Neill to shove it and as always these guys start by loading up points at the beginning of each section by doing their most consistent tricks [Music] [Applause] the bump or maybe I think it's a little bit to do with nerves when the pressure starts right at the beginning of this finals I I can imagine all these guys legs really really got to put it down [Applause] guys they know he wants a win here he's been qualified in the top spot he just got to put it down to the finals now he delivered you know he loves his air walk he's done one in every single contest and he knew he was gonna fly one out this big bump he does the crowd loves it too back tacular the Ryan Sheckler [Applause] music it almost felt like he made them and he almost you got a point for that for just barely stepping on today [Music] [Applause] arguably the best frontside 360 earth it's borscht three six years ago he's at the top Paul Rodriguez [Applause] the switch live now if you want to talk about rocket [Applause] [Music] I don't expect the same thing from Shane O'Neill [Applause] [Music] perfect I'd like to see Shane do that off the middle part it's another one of his strongest trick she should be doing that off the middle part the backside you can always sell what she has is going to the middle cuz he's running you know folks pushing as hard as he he gets a six point one takes it to the very top of the leaderboard that's the type of tricks you got to do to stay on top here switch people brah that was a regular kickflip by Nyjah Huston 5.4 again you go off the center you're just gonna get more points [Applause] chucking burly like it's 1986 [Applause] [Music] that's a massive 360 ollie perfect this is textbook backside 360 you'll see a lot of guys have that front foot fly off not Ryan Sheckler Zoo bolts beginning to end Greg let's go falling behind here's got to start to put down a little bit more punch in [Music] Gregg let's go 5.1 moving him back to the top of the leaderboard looks like paul is coming in switch again the way he's running couldn't even tell that he's skating completely backwards I bet he has a better switch here with the Denon regular heel flip and again for those at home a switch stance trick is like basically throwing left handed when your right hand you're going to get more points for them which is outside big spit exact same trick Gregg Lutzke did but basically backwards is why he got rewarded with a 5.8 beautiful 360 flip massive 6.21 the highest score trick so far the section every attempt has been off the big bomb prop that's what you got to do to really rack up the points that's why is in first place I do use the big spin all about consistency he puts it down every single trick four-point-eight brings him up to third Ortiz's really build believe that Senator Bigfoot like Chris has changed his strategy quite a big after seat Malto dominates top to back to the top of the order ryan scheckler from his fourth attempt I made a six point four he just got a six point eight he is loading up points in this first section for a kickflip backside grab taking a note from scheckler strategy but came up short you don't want to bail you want to fly for techfoot once I flip the tip just could not get it fire off Shane O'Neill coming in to switch six point six here it is this is like riding completely backwards incredibly difficult not many guys willing to take this risk and he was rewarded with a six point [Applause] the guy's gonna still have the shot to chase down Nyjah for that overall championship so you know he really wants to win but so does my job she keeps skating away he's skating I don't think anyone's gonna catch him yeah I mean he's first place in the first event third the last no stranger to the top tylium ibailo gets herself into the third position back to the top of the order little bit easier with the caballerial the bomb no moves them in the first place he's up continued to build points cause he's gonna be there in the end under grab my Greg Lutz cuts you know I don't know if he's kind of shocked by the tipping his board and having to bounds but I'm not gonna get it done with the grabs switch frontside flip it fails the regular frontside flip this is even get his board cracked off it does his easy switch frontside flow perfect [Music] Shane O'Neill 5.0 will bring him up into first place Chaz Ortiz has yet to go off the small section big spin I mean why bother 6.7 you keep flying off the big section you're gonna be racking up points nobody's going to catch [Applause] [Music] nollie heelflip 180 s over the top highest score trip of the entire section much more difficult absolutely perfect and barely [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] just building points knowing that he's got to be there to really try to make a run at his very first Street League victory massive that's what Greg's got to do he's got to put down those big tricks hit get into that six range just really start chasing these guys down this trifle perfectly that is textbook six point seven you're gonna get a lot of points if you take the risk as like a switch 360 flip back Center has not failed once yet six point seven moves Shane into first place Chaz Ortiz continues to fly off the center nollie that was beautiful 6.9 I mean he has still six per six off of the big bump racking up the points in this first section beautiful [Applause] nollie heelflip he's maintaining that a hundred percent consistency but you can see where T's pulling away from these guys because he's doing all the big tricks off the center bow [Music] [Applause] purpose with that 360 ollie at the end of the sixth attempt that 5.8 puts him in sixth position scheckler on his final attempt of this section sitting in full row great section for Ryan Sheckler six point seven thirty five point one points he's looking real good at the beginning of this contest Greg let's go looks like he's going for the mill [Applause] puts a little bit of old with a little bit of the new it looked good I mean that was it that was a pretty nice Portobello bill on the front side look again [Applause] should wrap you up [Applause] [Music] that makes it Wallis section for you at six point eight moves hit me the first place Chaz Ortiz also flawless to this point [Applause] [Music] that 360 shuvit Gatien before point 9 he is tied with the new for first place [Applause] Nyjah Huston who also has a flawless section but is not doing as to the other guys we stole five points behind the leaders right now this section Chris Cole of the 360 flip he was our top qualifier but he is no longer in the top spot he is ten point three points behind our leader Shana with a flawless first section and Chaz Ortiz boat with a forty point nine we will be right back with the line section but first let's take a look at some practice footage [Music] [Music] [Applause] welcome back the Street League skateboarding ZC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy currently in first place is 16 year old Chaz Ortiz skating completely flawless in the first section he is tied with Australian Shane O'Neill and they virtually skated with identical points of consistency both for the 5.8 average doing really really difficult tricks the rest of the leaderboard is as follows Houston and third sheckler's fourth Lutzke Cole and rounding out the bottom a big surprise Paul Rodriguez no surprise is Nyjah Huston skating flawless sitting in the third position he knows that he's got to get fifth or better to win the overall championship this nollie heelflip 180 was the highest score trick of the entire section with a 7.0 next up we have the line section the line section you're required to do two different tricks this one's a lot different from our previous ones this is high to low so we have the handrail you can flip into the bump then you gotta hit the ledges or hit the long rails on the outside we are set and ready to go with Paul Rodriguez is our first skater in this section [Music] positions behind the leader [Applause] certainly capable of making up some ground here but he's got to stay consistent [Applause] I mean I would just call that the Crisco right he skates his completely own style he does unique tricks he has two tricks that no one else at skateboard [Applause] [Music] Xero's you are required to hit both sets of obstacles Skippy Ollie off the side [Applause] [Music] that baking 5050 silicon its points 43.8 is better than a zero big spirits have boardslide to skating solid as usual five point six moves him into the top spot with only owner choose to go [Applause] [Music] the legs 5.3 a little bit lower two judges weren't weren't gonna share like the 360 shuvit was comfortable to the big boy [Music] he doesn't do easy tricks he just refuses to miss because he knows he's got to stay consistent to be there in the end [Applause] five point five moving him up the board he's got some work to do get back in that top spot it's a five point one because despite being a really hard trick at the top Smith grinds a much more basic trick so you get him averaged together that's just not gonna get you a lot of points [Applause] or very often well it's clear that if you skate that top bar you are gonna get a lot more points [Applause] [Music] that's going to be a big score six point to moving him up to the top position seem like the bar shredded in the last three attempts well they see the scores going up if you choose to do a trick there so those guys are making it happen [Applause] despite hitting on it a little little sketchy yeah he now a kick flip 180 switch tail three six we get you a six point three [Music] lady Chaz Ortiz Shane O'Neill going trick for trick right now he perfectly those blended on that thing let's see if that doesn't get pierot go on a 6.0 it's just what he needs right now switch front tail one side keep going so far come all this in this section of 5.5 [Applause] [Music] try to fly out too much land it too heavy got a little bit of wheel bite the front boy [Applause] Ryan Sheckler 5.2 moving up in the third three guys left in this run switch outside five votes versatility here is 5.6 lose knives as used in the movie with oatmeal and Ortiz to go [Music] that puts Shana nailing first place the expense frontside boardslide to fakie it really difficult trick to start a line off with Chaz Ortiz the kickflip boardslide snagging a little bit to 70 Wow six point one moves him up into the second position still almost a full point behind Shane O'Neill [Music] crook Corral on the line section yet it's tough it's a toll rail short runway switch backside lint yeah those speed switch could run and popped out b-boy had a chance to stop 5.7 he is chasing down the leaders right now there's as Oh smooth Drive 180 hold that one out senator [Music] like the Smith Brown baby still he's seven points behind our leaders the wax on top of the ledge I mean that's the quickest way to your back you get a two point a but when you land that sketchy the spite of being look at the crowd the crowd booing ready okay some hard tricks but that's done very pretty no Neil still flawless to this point the four point seven moves into sixty three point five [Music] and sagging on the front psmith you know but his testament to his ability indeed it is and he is in second position we didn't need it switchback tail 5.5 he's really making some ground up every sexy oh really sketchy backside five-o hung on to that backside Smith grind I mean you can see him he got he got loose and is just hanging on his coat rack right there topping it off 5.3 crucial crucial and for Ryan Sheckler their get to 5.30 this very first fall look at the shop [Music] you know I think these guys that are used to making it every time it's pretty shocking when they fall on the very first trip up until this point will Shane and Chaz were flawless I mean opening the door for Chris : and Nyjah right there on our sixth or seventh attempt right now perfect switch I was really gonna start putting it down like it's it's to the point now where he can't really afford to fall any more time nobody [Applause] nobody skates like Chris Cole I mean it's just he skates completely [Music] - no slide across the ledge the judges reward the creativity with a 6.0 moving him all the way into the first position for the first time in this event fakie looks like he's struggling a little bit but he stayed on Ryan Sheckler [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] lastly education with the opportunity to jump in the first place flip 180 that certainly is gonna move him above everybody 66 Shane O'Neill and Chaz Ortiz really opened up the door with those two Falls [Applause] [Music] one of the most difficult lines that we have seen so far in the section even though he didn't hit the rail at still scored upon I mean a nollie 360 flip is very rare backside tailslide he didn't like the fall of his last bell so the basis of this still moved him into the third position our final attempt at the line section another crucial christos made up some ground he has he has skated flawless is what he needed to do to get back in loose hanging onto the backside Smith grind that puts him up in second behind Shane O'Neill but we got five other guys to go [Music] Oh turn it around a bit oh the one we're kind of best about there there's not much room there you really can't you really don't have the time to turn around it's a crucial bail for him they're like these final attempts are these guys they think they're good for the psyche they set the precedent of where you go into the next section how you're doing halfway through the contract Houston knows that kickflip backside five point nine moves him into first position with Shane and Ortiz still to go picks up four with the switch tailslide big spin puts him in first in the five point three not bad for having a sketchy switch v6 in luck currently in force the leader coming into this section it's in the 5.1 but only good enough for third place he drops two spots why Chris Cole makes up two spots we are set and ready for the technical section let's see if Shane O'Neill can hang on to the lead we will be right back welcome back Street League skateboarding DC we just finished the line section where we watched Chris Cole skate with a hundred percent consistency and gain 39.2 points moving him from the sixth position to the fourth position also skating at a hundred percent consistency is Nyjah Huston he has not missed a trick yet but even though he's skated at a hundred percent he's still in second place yeah a really really strong line showing with Nyjah Huston sitting in that second position he's still right there overall title especially with Chaz Ortiz dropping to third Chaz has got to win the event and Houston finish sixth or seventh for Chaz to be the overall title with despite finishing in third place in that lime section Shane O'Neill sits atop the leaderboard for one reason he is doing harder tricks than everyone else out there he is skating with a 5.8 landing trick average with tricks like this nollie nose slide that makes banana nollie half-cab flip switch tail that is the reason while he is sitting in first place right now just behind Shane O'Neill is Nyjah Huston Chaz Ortiz and Chris Paul separated by only two points while scheckler P rhod and Greg Lutzke fall way behind we are all set for the third section it is the technical section this is basically a bench with a curved ledge on top they will gain points from either skating the bottom or going big across the top first up in the technical section [Music] this is weaker sex almost 30 points agreement to score the 3.8 moving him into six I mean [Music] [Music] 5.0 there you go absolutely checker I'd say that this section is probably one of his weakness set well you know he's really in the last contest really skated strong backside space on the backside tailslide it's you know 5.1 like he's really impressed me in the technical section so far this season I didn't expect him to have quite a ledge game that he does have [Music] now you got understand 4.7 for a very simple trick but doing any trick across that big ledge that's curb is really difficult so guys know if they skate it they're gonna get some extra four five o'brien to switch crooked grind gets him a 4.9 I set himself up now the crooked grind nollie crooked grind a strong trick but on a Ledge section as you can see a 3.5 it's just not gonna get you any points Shane O'Neill is a dominating as you can see right there his first trick a nollie flip noseslide 5.6 not many guys were even flipping - no slider grind out here let's go those one slide on the edge of the legs that was it nice looking those boots are really clean but just not gonna get the points that he's gonna need [Music] Paul Rodriguez switch backside but is still almost 23 points Prime leader Shane O'Neill guys [Music] once I ate the entire bench for point nine you're gonna get a lot more points when you do a trick completely in the end on this ledge oh really really technical trick 6.0 max Taiwanese switch frontside crooked ride back forward that is incredibly different in the end that's a difficult trick with a six point one anytime you big spin out of the backside tailslide you're taking a risk and he got rewarded [Applause] [Music] hi Chris Cole of the 80.5 same--you in the 18-49 these guys are really really close right before he goes really supporting a guy if you scream in the middle of the trick as opposed to say anyone's done once you set the out big trick for Greg gets him a 5.10 Rodriguez sitting in seventh right there it was such a hard trick that's why I got scored so hot [Applause] I mean I'm gonna say to game Lake Ryan Sheckler is impressive in this game absolutely he just skates like a babe you manhandled that bench absolutely the second position of me Shane O'Neill falls once and Chris Cole can be right on it that's a tough relies on his consistency he can't afford this to be tricked Houston wow that is the first trick he's missing this entire event receive his body language he it's magnaphone whatsoever he could not afford that I've hit my [Music] [Applause] you know the crowd loves that they know how difficult that is 7.1 this is his go-to when it comes to incredible difficulty that's why you get a seven point one and now we flip to no slide and big sticking out that's putting a lot of pressure on Crisco he is 8:1 let's go he's got to step it up at this point I don't think there's any chance of you get to the top he's 31 [Applause] dolly nose bluntslide 5.1 [Music] the Bigler kedryd 4.7 he staying consistent he knows his strengths the big section he just got to stay within within a handful of points of the leaders and he can chase him down credibly difficult frontside half cab frontside bluntslide to fake him gives him a six point one he's applying pressure to Shane O'Neill 270 he bailed that last time round which was a big surprise still four point seven moves him into third position backside tailslide that is his strongest technical trick so far he definitely needs those bigger scores to keep up with these guys top [Music] making it that much easier for Chris Pole to stay on his heels I mean that's what Chris Cole wants to see especially going into their fifth try here in this section you know it's gonna give a lot of confidence to Chris Cole to know that that he's really chasing down Shane O'Neill right now that's right he's only about a point 1/2 behind [Music] whit's backside tailslide to shove at 6.2 you know putting some distance on Lutz go and chase it down scheckler right now kickflip back tail fake across the nice 5.8 Sickler chasing down Ortiz when he dragged his tail that's that's it twice you could open a big lead right there you know the 2.7 you crooked grind try to man you and he touch you tell you you're gonna get a really low school that is the epitome of technical Pat cab nose slide hopping all the way around to backside tailslide Chaz Ortiz with a 6.7 run the guys are really going for right now these last couple tries of this section yeah it looks like they're really seven up there technical game [Music] guy perfect Costin likes that one you know I mean this is really shaping up to be a head-to-head battle of Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole right [Music] [Applause] [Music] this spot oh here I switch flip switch back tail goes into five Oh first and that's two back-to-back big scores for Paul the switch backside all tricks that you could do on a loan [Music] back Smith people about even going ishutin yelling for it I mean all these guys are really pushing it in their last couple attempts here [Applause] original tricks you only find him out here to do a backside 180 sweets back Smith Drive [Music] he needs to stay with these guys 5.0 he's definitely [Music] and five point average Shane O'Neill I mean [Music] [Applause] that was perfect yeah I mean absolutely perfect he is far and above the most technical skater here he is seven points ahead of Chris Cole going into our final attendance there it is fakie flip fakie nose run trips aggregates of a 5.9 I'll be right over [Applause] frontside tailslide he'll flip out I've seen a bacon anytime yeah the other real consistent with that true he wants it back man that's a really tough trick and he he really needed that backside 180 fakie nosegrind [Music] [Applause] such a good-looking trick you know it's me sitting strong he's sitting real strong right now in the second position kickball Chaz Ortiz in the 4.8 knows that he can still make up some ground on the big sexy Oh trying to go to the truck did not get it our final attempts final skater Shane O'Neill in the lead by one point let's see what he's got to close it out oh I've seen it fake that day [Applause] despite that he has led the entire contest but Chris Cole has chased him down just over a point behind him we are ready for another exciting finish here at Street League skateboarding DC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy on ESPN welcome back to Street League skateboarding CC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy we are set for another Street League barnburner and I mean that in the realest way the technical section proved to be a very very big section for Chris Cole he worked his way back from sixth place after the first section to fourth place after the line section and all the way to get place after the technical section despite skating with just a 71 percent consistency rate Shane O'Neill maintained his lead with a 6.4 average landed trick score and not only that he had the best trick of the contest with a seven point one well Shane and Chris Kohler about to battle it out right now in the big section but let's listen to what Chris has to say about his favorite skaters inside street news this league has the best of the best the guys that are winning or the younger a new blood and skateboarding that are flying the flag and taking the reigns Nyjah is such a strange case because he's 15 years old and he's out there and he lands everything does our TV forget that he's young age is he's so calm around you know the biggest name since gay boy and then he also rips majal toe is my favorite his whole demeanor is perfect as far as you know a dude that you'd want to skate with his consistency level is I mean that's unheard of Oh Chris Cole the guy no good he wants to win at this last stop but at the end of the day you know he has a lovely family he loves very much and to take care of him and that's the most important part it's weird talk about me like I'm not me Chris Cole Chris Cole is way too humble we are all set after three section Shane O'Neill is sitting atop the leaderboard with a 107 point one four is Cole as in all Street League events it comes down to the big section who can put it down when it really matters in our two previous events the contest was determined by the final trick and we are set to have another historic ending we have a two-man battle one of the points separating Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole our other story Nyjah Huston it looks like he's going to be our overall champion stick around for the final section the big section is this [Music] wit is down to the final section it has turned into a two-man battle between Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole but our other story nyjah huston he is currently sitting in third place he needs to place fit there better and he is our overall champion but like every time in a Street League contest the biggest change happens in the end on the big section we're not sure how it's going to unfold but we know it's going to be exciting let's take a look at how we got to where we're at right now in the creative section it was Shane O'Neill and Chaz Ortiz both a hundred percent consistent and both tying for first place after the first section despite falling into sixth position after the first section Chris Cole came back won the line section and moved up to the fourth position but it was Shane O'Neill who continued to dominate and stay in first place after the line section not only did he win the line section but he also won the technical section Chris Cole pulling out all the stops like a frontside half cab frontside bluntslide to fakie to come hot on the heels of Shane O'Neill that is right after three sections Chris Cole down by just over a point this is one of his strong sections but so is it for Shane O'Neill this is the big section these guys do their biggest hardest sketchiest tricks in this section and it always comes down to who can land the hardest stuff when it matters [Applause] seven tries left $150,000 on the line let's go start it off with a backside lipslide down the big rail 4.2 in this section I expect these guys to be going way bigger we're gonna be seeing some sixes and sevens coming up here [Music] [Applause] [Music] Regas 5.0 moving paul into the fifth position looks like a battle between him and scheckler Oh scheckler thank you all if a key lived down the road sketching out of it she still got a good score not bad five point seven yeah five point seven he's definitely his strongest section is the big section and you can expect him to make up a lot of ground here from more down the rail jazz get to 5.4 still right there at least three point six points behind and I is another really strong skater in the big set devastated and he knows at this point in his position you have to make every trick that's exactly what this ball is gonna build for I mean he has to like right now it's between Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole and both these guys have to put pressure on each other by not missing any tricks that's the only way for Chris Cole to win [Applause] purpose really difficult 5.6 putting a little bit of distance between himself and Chris Cole right now [Music] [Applause] 5.0 we are into our second trick of the 7 right now all Rodriguez always strong the big section has one of the deepest bag of tricks [Applause] getting the score for it to a six point zero moves him up over scheckler into fifth place [Music] thank you that was seven this is incredibly difficult get up over that bar still carry the distance and take that drop I mean this is why sheckler's shines in the big section he does have some of the biggest tricks in the game and so does Chaz Ortiz kickflip backside lipslide 6.6 I mean this is when the energy starts heating up for these guys because they know they can make up a lot of ground by doing really big tricks in this section I join up my nicest kickflip backflip he gets a 6.5 and he again is up into that fourth place position let's go tricks and that's what he's doing that that's a conservative strategy a switch frontside boardslide still gets him a four point seven three points ahead of Shane O'Neill who has to make a trick or he loses the lead for the first time [Applause] the tour has just been opened I think the entire place was surprised by that I mean it puts a lot of pressure on Shane down the nose he could not bail any more tricks and puts Chris in a good position he can stay strong but doesn't have to pull out the gnarliest tricks to still put pressure on him yeah I mean it's really on Shane [Applause] sighs fever [Music] six-point-seven but it puts a lot of pressure on Shane to do really hard tricks to put the pressure back on Chris Cole we know seculars got hard tricks [Music] [Applause] that is to bangers in a row Brian's just like unbelievable just right now seven point four the highest trick so far the contest [Music] he was right there with you guys you know what 110eb still had a fight exchange but he could not afford to bail [Applause] eight point one that is the highest score trick of the is incredible how consistently he can do that trick especially with how hard it is fakie ollie to switch frontside boardslide six point eight he's definitely not taking the conservative route right now he sees that this contest could be his and he is putting all the pressure on Shane O'Neill right now he's almost a full [Applause] 6.5 a must-make machine O'Neal and everybody out there knows that he had to hold on to that one to have any shot at chasing down Chris Bowl let's go have a hard time at the big section let's have a hard time in the final zone like we got a little wheel bite there even though we've seen a lot of bails we're seeing some incredibly hard tricks of these guys are bailing on this is incredible sheckler only goes for the win and he was trying to push it on all levels there's Chas nollie back lip it's a little bit too late for the conservative approach in this big section exactly Chad's gonna have to throw something a lot bigger and better next time five point five does third position switch heelflip I mean that now I'm back down to Shane revealed Chris Cole again [Music] [Applause] oh goodness put you to the door point zero let me with Shane as for [Applause] my guys I mean these guys are forcing each other to keep stepping it up because they know they have got to stay neck-and-neck for them to have a shot at at the end only three points separated right now the pressure is definitely let's go still having a hard time I just cannot believe that these two guys are level up with battle man these are two guys that really really want to win here we go Ryan Sheckler going for broke on every trick right now he's a little scared right there that could've ended up really red yeah you do not want to fall backwards on to that Ray oh good frontside bigspin by Chaz I mean every one of these guys is feeling the energy right now and really trying to push it that's the thing about all the tricks these guys are doing I don't think people really understand it the level of difficulty big kickflip frontside boardslide by Nyjah moving him back into the third position but here is our battle Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole they have to continue to land tricks to put pressure on each other all the way to the end now [Applause] Chris Cole's specialty tricks six-point-three putting it back on Shane O'Neill he has got to do something really difficult [Applause] there's only two point one points behind right now Jana vo was in the lead the entire time and now we're down to two tries left and he is trailing Chris Cole what he's thinking right now I mean he's thinking how could I be leading this event all the way Chris Cole being six after the live section and he has chased me down Oh Oh struggling with that switch back live Ryan Sheckler just missed two tricks in a row after really putting it down it's like a - that is the single highest score than history up Street League skateboarding beautiful tricks on me Ryan Sheckler may be out of the wind but he is putting it down for the crowd [Applause] having trouble with those two misses in a road really open it up for Dyson now when here's the real story this cold NATO meal the second to last attempting have got to continue to put pressure on each other [Applause] 360 item Shane O'Neill has got to answer [Music] seven-point-seven I mean it is an absolute trick for trick battle right now for the hundred and fifty thousand dollars I mean it is both of these guys hundred percent of the line they've got to make both their tricks even if Chris Cole does the basic trick Shane could still come over the top of him and take this at the very end unreal unreal that it is just this close [Music] all reasons [Applause] [Music] down another tough day out here you know seconds about to try something crazy because he is all about putting on a show [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] four people left right now Chaz Ortiz as a shot of taking out nice and Houston TAS or Tina strong end up in fourth position and this is a victory ride for overall champion of 2010 nice nollie crooked ride that is it the overall champion but it comes down to this Chris Korell and Shane O'Neill one trick of peace did you see Shane O'Neill [Applause] Chris Cole [Applause] Oh No [Applause] he's wasting no time [Applause] Sayed O'Neill has won the final stop of Street League skateboarding DC Pro Tour fuelled by Monster Energy in 150 [Applause] Oh Chris Cole knows he still won two dollars one and it's a contest Crisco Shane O'Neill head-to-head battle we will be right back to talk to both of them including our overall champion Nyjah Huston Street League skateboarding DC Pro Tour fueled by Monster Energy brought to you by DC skateboarding since 1994 and Monster Energy fueled by Monster Energy and Baer Bing n decide ladies and gentlemen can we please give it up for all the finalists in today's competition now this is our third contest in a row where it has come down to the wire only today it was Chris Cole and Shane O'Neill Chris Cole you had it all the way to the end there the kickflip over the rail do you have any regrets yeah the kickflip over the rail I mean what was going through your head as that thing hit your feet I was like don't go back side wait like as I was right now about as I kicked him over the rail that's not that hard I'll just do something well I'm gonna tell you what I almost jumped out of my seat when you hit the ground you didn't saying I felt guilty credible skating today congratulations on the second-place friscoe this is a true rookie right here ladies and gentlemen can we give it up for our winners Shane O'Neill I mean it's it is a storybook situation here you are a rookie pro you got second place in the first one did not make the finals in the second one which is absolutely unheard of but you redeemed yourself on a single trip what was going through your head is you were battling trick for trick Chris Cole I remember exactly what Chaz did last week sir okay so let me ask you this like what were you thinking as soon as he bailed and you knew that it was wide open for you what was your immediate thought I just went straight away because I saw Chaz like white and the crowd went crazy and then he kind of like probably got nervous so I'm saying if you guys didn't notice he didn't let his suit as Chris fell he was like I'm not gonna let people build this up on me I'm just gonna go and and there you did it a backside lip side of the 4.2 congratulations to our newest Street League winner ladies and gentlemen Shane O'Neill what an intense showdown between Shane O'Neill and Chris Cole to wrap up the third and final stop of Street League skateboarding for 2010 [Music] Shane O'Neill takes Vegas but it's Nyjah Huston who takes it all and he's down on the floor right now with Rob we had we have an overall champion of the 2010 Street League now he had to place fifth or higher he won one didn't qualify was the last-chance qualifier got third in the last event and got third today all he had to do is get fifth place and he was our champion so not only is he the first-ever Street League overall champion but he gets this incredible iced out mix and watch right there okay and we're getting them a matching ring to go with it so congratulatory Houston for being our first overall champion [Applause]
