2 YEARS & NEVER COMBED OR BRUSHED HIS HAIR!

hey guys so i decided to do something new and do a voiceover um on this video my client here came to me and said eden i have not combed my hair or brushed my hair in two years i wash it i put conditioner on it and call it a day so he needed help detangling it um look how pretty his curls are such a pretty texture just beautiful natural hair um i'm a sucker for perfect curls so we're going to start by saturating his hair you want to make sure you saturate the hair very well so you can distribute the shampoo or conditioner you're using throughout the hair and um evenly you know so just making sure it's saturated is one of the keys to natural hair [Music] and i'm gonna use conditioner to detangle it first i'm not going to shampoo his hair all the way um you guys will see step by step what i'll be doing i will be fast forwarding the video but right here you guys can see i put conditioner on his hair and i used the k60 conditioner it will be on my website at stylesbyeden.com and i'm using my detangler it's also available on styles by eden.com um i love this detangling brush it helps out it helps me a lot you can use it for dry hair or wet hair but as you can you can see right here he has a lot of knots um in his hair it's not as bad as uh i thought for two years he's actually very lucky not to have dreads here and there but you guys can see some of his knots like when i brush it it comes out um but don't worry i'm not taking his hair out but just making sure that all the knots are out so he doesn't have to detangle it again or it won't have to take a long time again but always remember to if you haven't combed or brushed your hair out or if it's on a weave that for a minute when you brush your hair out of a comet you're gonna have a lot of shedding because technically we're supposed to lose at least 100 stand a day so if you haven't combed it or you know been in a weave and when you take it out you're gonna see more hair more dead hair that's coming out on your brush or comb so don't it doesn't always mean you're losing hair so don't freak out and you know just always remember that keep that in mind [Music] so this is all the knots that came out from this hair that's everything um and it took about 45 minutes to detangle his hair but it was like everything came out so i'm going to go ahead and shampoo his hair i'm going to start out with moisturizing shampoo because his hair has not been brushed i want to make sure that it's moisturized and kind of relaxed um first before i use any kind of clarifying shampoo the shampoo i'm using right here is hydration shampoo by cara care um this is my all-time favorite to detangle here or even to moisturize hair it's on my website as well so sometimes i mix the hydration shampoo with the clarifying shampoo because clarifying shampoo tends to dry the hair out so i feel like the hair is dry or tangled um i rather use either both or just the hydration shampoo so in his case i use the hydration shampoo twice the last one i'll mix a little bit of clarifying shampoo and that's it for his shampoo session but after that i'm gonna put him in hydrating treatment with the moisturizing conditioners it will be three moisturizing conditioners mixed together of course one of them will be the k60 the regular uh conditioner i'm gonna put a five and one and the other one is a secret but your hair always is in need of moisture don't ever forget that you can never over moisturize your hair so moisturize moisturize moisturize all the time and if you could do steam treatment even better so i'll leave him in the steamer for about 25 to 35 minutes sometimes longer it just depends on how much your hair needs [Music] so here it is after the steamer look how smoothly it brushes out and look at his curls just so satisfying no shedding no more knots his hair is soaked in all the moisture and needs i love it so always make sure you moisturize your hair guys all right well i hope you guys enjoyed this video i hope i did okay don't be hard on me guys thank you for your support thank you for subscribing thank you for watching i really appreciate it and i hope this video was helpful and thank you again [Music] um [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] um and i'll be back yes sir so how long well i know you wash your hair you put conditioner on it but how long has it been since you actually combed it out or brushed out two years okay so how was the detangling process oh it wasn't bad at all but not for me maybe for you but it was good it was cool overall how you like your hair i love it so how does it feel definitely wasn't this soften up came in but it's thought much often now okay i really love it good i'm glad to hear that well i will see you back soon yes i'll be there thank you for coming all right thank you for having me
