have you wanted to place Furniture manually in your ship or struggled exploring planets due to the long travel distance between markers while having reached almost 200 hours in Starfield since its launch last month I've come up with 12 Advanced tips I wish I'd known sooner oh and I should mention if I do sound a little off it's because I'm just getting over a cold but anyway let's get into it now I just mentioned Planet exploration and as it stands it's pretty time consuming due to the travel lengths well what if there was a way to travel faster rather than running well there is we all have the vertical jump enabled it's the native bound controls however there is an alternative forward thrust take for example here we're going to use the sleeping bags to measure how far we can jump forwards placing a sleeping bag now underneath us we can see how far we we jumped and we're going to repeat this now but with the alternate forward boost and as you can see we're getting about double the distance in the same amount of time on a flat piece of terrain imagine how much faster this would be in a low grav planet or from higher terrain so the question is how do we do this how do we activate it well you head to your bindings and then scroll down to the jump section you'll then need to click the alternate key bind box and enter a key I'm using left alt and from here if you jump back game it should now work when I press left alt and this allows us to cover terrain much faster though we still need a custommade speed bike in my opinion also I should mention I think this is only available on PC so I do apologize for that now that's not the only thing though when it does come to traveling faster in game if you head to the Red Mile it has one of the best Aid items available in game and I haven't found it anywhere else so if you head to the bar you'll be able to purchase runnner Rush this drink is designed for the runnner boosting speed by 20% and increasing oxygen recovery by 25% meaning you can run faster for longer and you'll also be able to save off damage thanks to the plus 50 damage resistance so if you value your time and you have 1 to 2 km run to the next mission Waypoint on a planet pop one of these and get there the great thing is you don't need to worry about getting back to your ship after WS unless you're over encumbered because you can fast travel but if you're someone who prefers to play in space then you'll probably want to be leveling up your ship piloting skills but if you're struggling to find enemies early on in the game it can take a huge amount of time you'll need to head to the Vanguard pilot simulator because each simulated kill will count towards the challenge and you can get into the Vanguard right from the GetGo speaking of ships you may also know that ship dealers have different and unique parts s and some will actually allow you to control the placement of doors on your ship as I've demonstrated in my previous video I'll put a link to that actually in the cards which will be placed in the description below if you do want to check that out but you'll also find better equipment as you level up some are locked behind the Starship design skill but as you level up you'll find that you have new items or modules available to you which are currently locked behind this level cap and I can prove this by quickly leveling up using a console command and as you can see jumping back in we have access to all these other modules which we didn't have access to before um also another thing capturing ships can help bring you a juicy little bit of profit however it's expensive to register a ship at least it is in ports so when you first capture a ship while still in space go to your ship screen and you can register it there and it's sometimes cheaper not always though I've noticed but the the big thing about this is that you'll be able to hop immediately back into your main ship and then go on to take over some other ships without wasting any time this will allow you to boost your credits per hour grind quite considerably when it comes to leveling one of the most underrated features in the game is the ability to sleep and you should be sleeping regularly and if possible with a companion as well so sleeping as we all know refills Health it can also cure ailments but it also gives you a 10% boost to experience and if you sleep with a companion you'll also receive the emotional security buff which improves The Experience gain from 10% for 24 minutes to 15% extra XP for 24 minutes and you can actually squeeze a little bit more experience out of this by using food items such as tea or if you have the I think it's the kid park at the start of the game you can get the recipe for homemade meatloaf which gives you a 1% boost to experience as well next let's talk about weapons you can tell what tier your weapon is based on the weapon's name so in this example the base level is the solstice you then have the calibrated Solstice the refined Solstice Advanced Solstice and finally the superior Solstice these are the five tiers currently available and shouldn't be confused with weapon Rarity which is dependent on the amount of fixed perks a weapon has if Outpost building is your thing but you always find build build WS misaligned head to settings then controls and down to Outpost item rotation speed you can reduce this as much as you want to allow you to make perfect placement and it works for furniture too speaking of which wouldn't it be great if we could add Our Own Furniture to our ships well it is in fact possible however to do this you will have to use a console command to do this head to your ship and stand in a location that you want the the decorational switch to be placed once there head to the console commands and type player.pl at me that's all one word followed by space 0024 dc7 Space 1 if Done Right pressing enter will spawn a decorational console on the floor you can then click e to add Furniture to your ship just be aware that you won't be able to move that console once it's been placed it'll even stay like this whilst you travel around providing that you don't change anything about your ship in which case you I think it gets all stripped out and you'll have to redo it again and I have noticed that this can cause crashes if you interact with the items so consider it only if you want to use it for Aesthetics you're not actually going to be adding items and reading like viewing them from the the inventory screen I would also like i' like to say a huge thanks to Calamity for helping me with this they're the ones that have suggested some of the tips including the one that I've just mentioned now I know a few of you may consider using console commands as cheating but it certainly isn't illegal however many activities in this game are stealing for one or smuggling Contraband if you get caught I highly recommend only going to jail if you've only recently leveled up the reason is simple going to jail deletes a fair amount of your experience towards the next level so this is very painful if you're later in the game and reaching higher levels because of the amount of experience points that it takes to level up so make sure to consider that when given the option to go to jail or not and finally if you're looking for better loot you'll need to find legendary enemies these are the tougher enemies you find occasionally and if you increase your difficult difficulty to very hard in game in the settings you'll encounter more legendary enemies which means more loot but if that is too difficult for you you can always reduce the difficulty when you come into contact with them this makes them less spongy and you can get rid of them quite easily and from there you can always turn the difficulty back up after but there you are 12 Advanced tips to make the most of your playthrough now do let me know which tip was your favorite in the comments below and make sure to subscribe for more special thanks does go to our awesome patrons most notedly our solo clip patrons James Owen fires and treble as well as our Lunas the Calamity Ben star that 2day W and our blood moon of the day which today is the gaming trucker until next time as always ciao for now
