hi this is car from the KD Gentlemen Just back with another video on how to make better Windows so I'm going to go over a bunch of different window styles that I've used in the game so far and just how to make them you know spruce up your place make it look a little bit more unique give it some depth add some contrast to your builds make it stand out a bit more let's go to the first window and I'll show you how to make this one this one's pretty simple it's just going to take the plant fiber roof and I've already cut out the shape so this is the shape you're going to need to make I always make my walls too thick so that I can get some more dep so cut the rest of the shape [Music] out and then we're just going to fill it in with the [Music] straw cuz of the shape that we started with you'll get this nice kind of arching look to your [Music] window [Music] there you go so I just use a plain shoud background shwood background so you could get a better idea of what the um the window is going to look like so there's going to be a little bit of overhang here depending on the wall that you use that would be a lot cleaner in the end let's have a quick look at the second one so this is a bit lower window still in the kind of round vein this might be know Hobbit window something like that if you're into that kind of build so it's just going to need the same plant fiber and this is the initial shape so five across two up and then just keep stepping it up till you reach one so I'll just cut that shape all the way [Music] through and then just start filling it [Music] in there we go nice kind of rounded window this is the next one I've done this is more kind of a barn style it's using the hay so the straw [Music] hay similar this is three high and then step up one and just fill it in [Music] moving on to the next one so this one's uh starting to look a bit more detailed so don't forget you can use uh layers over the top to each other so this is actually two windows backing each other so that's just shingles and windows for this one and I'll cut the shape all the way through [Music] first just laying down the grounds work [Music] now okay and then what I did was I placed this down so you can sink them through the wall place that one down and then I offset this one same level just a bit higher and then to get that nice vshape I just planted them out a bit further like this so that's how you get that nice vshape so this was my attempt to arounded another rounded window so that was the shape it only uses one window and the roof [Music] tiles cut it all the way [Music] through and then start placing the [Music] blocks so that's the basic Airline and then to get the rounded shape put the window in the middle of it nice these are the fancier ones now so I'll just grab the stuff out this one's just using TD shingles I like TD shingles because if you stack TD shingles on top of each other they give these really nice uh like G Gable looking stuff these awnings um quite a pretty look I quite like it so this one to get those you just simply have to make a shape like that so it's whenever you put two two blocks on an angle so if I go angle it'll just keep going up like that you make them as long as you want the more anger you do them higher they go Etc so for this one to get it to stick out you're going to go how did I get it to uh come forwards as well as going across so I'll just show now two that so that's the basic shape and then to get it to come forward I started laying blocks in front of it next one down one two one two it's like that so this almost looks Elven I quite like it there's a lot of carving a lot of detail on that one let's have a look at the next one so you don't always need to use roof tiles so so far I've only been using roof tiles but just remember you can still make really nice windows out of plane tiles without needing to use Roofing so this one here it's just about layering for detail it's a stone fence railing a carved wood fence and just some palmwood block so I'm just going to cut the hole for the [Music] window and instead this time I'm just going to put the palmwood around the outside actually shouldn't cut all the way through there let me just put those [Music] back I'm just going around the outside of the [Music] frame and look gives a lovely detail and then you know if you just want it to give more of a 3D look again you can start pushing the railing up against it and then yeah you get this this nice lovely t frame looking window it's beautiful I did something similar for the next one I started mixing the two so I started using frames windows and I started using the warnings as well so just mixing what we've learned so far going to go around the outside [Music] first cut through for the window and place that in the middle there so that's pretty nice that's a nice look but if you want to get it even better then that's when you can add your warnings make it look a bit nicer bit more depth to it again even even just like that looks [Music] great and this next one I was trying to experiment with like how thin could I make a window so what I did was I still used a full-sized wooden window frame cuz that's all we have access to but I pushed it off to the side so that it was offset so I'm just going to cut through here so that's going to be my window it's only a very small window and I'm using the roof tiles to line the sides and an interesting thing happens when you start to stick the roof tiles out they create these nice little ramps coming up so you got this kind of overhang looks quite nice I think from there I just stuck the window in cuz the windows pushed to the side a little bit you can only see straight through and it looks like it's centered so it's a nice skinny [Music] window and then last one this is probably just accumulation of everything we've Lear so far so we're going to have some framing we're going to get it stick out we're going to get some awning going on so I'm going to start by cutting out quite a large hole for the window I don't think I've uh made this hole big enough yet that's [Music] okay windows are too wide so now that that's Qui put this back for a second cross the bottom so this is going to be a nice little kind of shelf sticking out and then instead of sticking the windows in I'm going to pull them forward so they're only just they're actually hanging out they're floating at the moment they pull them forwards they're still floating and now I'm going to start building up the [Music] side [Music] and then I could leave that open I'll just go one across the top here perfect and then now same trick as before just going to put our off-centered windows in probably need to do that a little bit [Music] higher just like that come down a bit further if you wanted [Music] to that there has to go that so that's how I made that window anyway if you've liked what you've seen so far or you can use any of these ideas why don't you go and uh give the video a like it really helps us out feeds the algorithm and if you'd like to see more content like this uh subscribe to the KD gentlemen we have videos come out like this guys from Tred all the time and we appreciate the support thanks guys have a good one [Music] bye
