hey welcome to vice script raj guys been asked about two hundred ninety three thousand seven hundred and twelve times when's a guy gonna do another ford pick him up truck and likewise what am i gonna do another big-block well i'm gonna hit a bird with two stones today and that brought me here to central Minnesota I don't know scooted back in these trees sits the 1985 f250 she's got the 460 big block in her the current owner calls her affectionately turd Ferguson so it sounds good the great news is I know nothing about 460 s and of course it hasn't run in eleven years but I think I'm gonna go ahead and just try to drive her home this should be fine no you're gonna be walking [Music] [Applause] that lumen who frame anyway like I see you're up here got there she is you know tucked under the big tree you don't want these to get Hale dance and whatnot guy hasn't been this excited in a while you could never have too many big blocks in the stable hey this is looking pretty good we got glass in it I'm seeing tires we got tires oh well here's the ride home [Music] but first glance I clearly need this in my life looks pretty good so far plus I got snow fence let's uh school around er and get a closer look at the rig there's just there's a lot to take in and I'm just noticing she's even an F by four that's a bonus now first thing I noticed is you know the earth is clearly trying to reclaim her maybe I'll get some green credits on this year's taxes I don't know she's a little bit late reduced but I mean nothing some spray paint can't just you know will hide that pretty easily bent over a bumper 14 and she is the f250 you can see where the bad used to go clearly that's been removed for gas mileage and this is the XL not to be confused with the exa large Tania they're similar but different I got hubcaps in the front she's got some hover laters front end is I mean it's there I guess he's got air no we got a broken marriage besides kind of more gooder no take that back she's a little more weight reduced on this side legs caught in the fence going down again I mean you know this we can ignore that we'll just run some tape across here I think and that'll bring it around frame back here it looks rather solid I mean this is fine you don't have to worry about any of that stuff it's not critical let's see if we can look at the front frame I think this is probably just as good yeah you don't need any of this stuff what's that a body mount well I can already see if he got breakline she's just you know rotted off look at the tread on this tires oh goodness Shh listen we got a woodpecker we got lots of stuff back here well we got an inground pool complete with a flowerbed back here these are good yep even open couple pails I'll need that for a chair we'll and I already scraped this off and sure enough she's the 460 and we'll kind of take a gander at it I have no idea what any of this stuff means or does and there's a lot of severe hose egde this one seems busted and something's missing I don't know if that's good or bad something sawzall here she's got a battery in her that's great factory jack and I don't know what kind of air cleaner this is NASA we'll look under there in a second well yep mice chewing wires warm wires great we're gonna have some heavy digital work going on today Duras spark tested tough well every Ford I've ever owned those immediately go bad and I don't have one today so that's great got wires got some tinfoil egde you know she's been tuned on why are there so many hoses and lines and what is this what does that even do I don't know well got some golf tee did I work on this already got another tube rod thing that's some sort of you were full looking box back here what is that contraption you can't even get to the trans stick this is some sort of advanced engine I've never seen before what is that I'm sort of putty yeah I think that's window caulking that's fine it'll plug you know that's been snipped off - I think the old EGR deletes been had on her already that saved me about 17 days of work so I mean this is all good news it doesn't look bad watching some Hornets build a nest in the hood there that seems normal first thing a guy's gonna do I guess is get my socket wrench on the old girl's gonna spin over all else fails I could always sell a big block you know all right I think this is a fifteen sixteen there we go I got nothing let me get a really small cheater pipe and just tickle it yeah here we go tackle oh here it goes boy it's not I mean it is really not sounding good what still sounds better than Seth Green's laughs so we've got that going for us I suppose we move on and check some fluids out here okay that seems they have something is juice shot out of it didn't even get the cap off well how do you even Oh plum full that's weird trans after I move the spaceship out of the way severely overfilled it smells like burnt charcoal so that's a good sign well [Music] says safe doesn't really taste like it it is pretty full though no water in there don't taste any gas well I think we're going to move on to trying to get spark out of the old girl semen how there's 319 layers in here - through that I have no idea what they do it is hotter than Scarlett Jo out here and I ain't kiddin Ford uses Ford uses these fittings that are bigger than a washing machine for some reason so we don't need those I'm just gonna use some butt connectors and splice a few of these together and then I'll think well see if we got some battery juice Center and then we'll start tracing the electric electricity around in here and basically we just need power to the coil I may end up just running some jumper cables from here right to that bad boy plate say it was last plated in ol5 but they say it's smaller than sit in 11 years maybe they just didn't register the rig for a few years there but Danny who onto the battery here I replaced a couple fittings in there and that's not going to do nothing and I got no juice here so I'm gonna get this battery out and put a different one and surprise this isn't good you know it's an auto light yep well this guy's out on my tractor and she's bad but maybe it'll work here after all does say forward on it and max runs the light bulb anyway a lot of spin a big-block any fires nothing yep Wow surely this out-of-work 3.1 v's well I guess it's it's bad after all dang it clearly I'm over budget now I think I took this one out of Cadillac now how do we get fire we got clicking got some sparks and I got a door buzzer hey we're making some it should go i sat here with that ratchet on there for a good I mean seven minutes just giving her some turns here we go bring the Thunder nothing it's still nothing nothing again she weld it in there well it's not that great but what does this wrapped around the alternator now it's what we got let's test for spark won't drop that no got my loan with 6000 trigger hooked up and then I got my juice alator plugged in and we got juice on the battery so I'm gonna check for spark here and all I do is just hold the end of this right in front of the coil here and you should see your jump in and if you can't see anything you should hear it oh yeah we got some spark there that's good that means a couple few spices I did might have actually you know done something for once Oh PD upped I don't care who you are there's just something about a good egg sandwich Cardinal well we need to get this thing spinning over like she means it if we got a chance at it firing and being she was stuck when we got here and we got a little bit of work to do it came free actually relatively easily and from my experience working with pure trash my whole life that's usually the Rings you know I froze up in there so there's probably a ridge and all these cylinders and that's causing it to turn over slow so I started taking the spark laters out of this side and I got a chunk a brake line here and this works handy you just snip it in that spark plug hole and it could take your juice or whatever flavor you like and it's down that and then if I have to we'll move on to the trans oh but I like to try to avoid this if I can because it looks like a scene from Murder She Wrote when you turn her over and it's also highly flammable that's usually batter well guy got her lubed down and it just it didn't work the battery here she still got Oh 11.6 but it's just spinning slower than a snail and you can quickly figure out if it's this for post relay just take the lying off the other side and bring it right to the positive let's see she's not it's not spinning the way it should I cleaned up all these posts I don't have sandpaper so I did the right thing and just use my pocketknife so unfortunately as much as I hate to I think we're on to dump in some ATF down the throat and you know then I'm just gonna buy a scout in the Sun cuz model like I could do is just wait how much of this you say I don't know just go tell it feels right that felt pretty good and then we'll move on to the next just keep in mind depending on where the power pumpers are you can't use the same amount you know some of them come right back out she's up to the top well hurry up no I got stuff to do we're gonna have such a big fire today and they're right over leaves throw all the sparkle aiders look like they don't have physical damage which is nice and the filler before me was nice enough to put some anti-seize on there so they still fought but they shot out this one you probably can't see it but it's gapped bad wrong I mean it's basically touching but there's no damage on the tip so just gapped or maybe drop before they put it in anyhoo don't matter so while the cylinders are baking down with the juice there I guess we miles will go ahead and just keep throwing money at it huh so I got the lightning maker cap and the lightning weather we could throw these in yeah and we'll see what this one looks like yeah she could use it this don't look too bad though but we're still gonna replace on it Mazal well this one don't fit so I need that one back where did you go this one seems to be fine guess a guy could get this bed unloaded this one not not this one would not have been good in the circus oh look at that tailgate opens definitely can't junk it oh she's been modified on we got an angle iron in here I'm just surprised you don't got crops back here with all this good soil earth girl about we got a hole under here oh no another bag that's been flattened to about an eighth of an inch well I've been rotating on ER and refilling her with ATF for going on three hours now and it's just not picking up speed and this is dirtier than a Miley Cyrus video I mean there's just I got stuff everywhere so I think it's time to move on I'm running out of daylight we got to change gears here so I'm gonna put in this brand new refurb starter and hope that that's you know got just a little more torque later and get this thing spinning over there's no point in putting spark lighters back in it if it can't even spin without them so and then I'm gonna keep a you know soaking her down while we do that but now I've got you know it looks like a murder scene down there so I'm gonna hook onto this and just drag her down into the grass I think and save my good going to town shirt I think I just made a plan that's weird yeah new problem is there anything even solid enough down here to hook on to let's go right over the springs how about that [Music] [Music] [Music] well I'm gonna go on and say that that's not working I don't think we're headed in the right direction here I'm gonna guess that this is not rotating and we're kind of just you know we're digging around back one's moving this one's fine and well no kind of looks like it's rolling but then you know maybe not I don't want to keep pulling is we got actually yard up here pretty soon but maybe I just give her another couple feet you know just just to make sure well I got to be honest the chances of me driving this home or it's just it's getting down there you know but can a guy just get here to fire off boy this is we got a mess going on here good thing I brought that shovel we plow it up some earth so I'm still gonna try to crawl under here and get that starter in there and see if we can least get her to shoot some fire out I'd be nice and then you know we'll look at that tire maybe this one started rolling by the way look my beeper on in the mirror yeah I found a rear brake lying down here and she's a little saggy and we could fix this well maybe not you know that's probably it shot oh there's the other half chances went back up well let's just take a breather here now and summarize wherever at I got no front brake lines they're just you know they're eaten off and the back one well she just fell into my hand you know the whole thing she's laying in the box I'm not even mad I mean it was from up here all the way the middle of the box ever even got to the point about fuel delivery you know does the pump work I don't know the engines still about 42.9 three percent locked up she's tight you know it just it doesn't like to spin and then the top all that off you know these Ford starters they got horizontal bolts in them they're not fun get into and a guy may or may not have just snapped the bottom one off and the top one seems to be more round than a merry-go-round so I may have just inadvertently shut us down you know but you just sometimes you just you got a no one to fold you know you just you got to say that's murder that's enough but the universal tool kid I got and limited resources I just I don't think there's much more I can do out here so I think that's you know that's it got my button in
