hey it's Derek with my script Raj the guy's sold all the spells over the last couple months and I just don't like it so I did the right thing and went on the interwebs and bought another one sight unseen that hasn't run in many many many years and you know I'm just gonna try to get it on and just drive it home this one hasn't been registered since 1990 and I only saw one picture of it but that was enough I just had to have it after I squared up payment a digital mapped it and that brought me here 600 miles from home to Indian Anna Mathemagician aliy that gives me about a 8.2 percent chance of this working out great so anyway let's go take a look at this thing for the first time and see what we got [Music] [Applause] [Music] that's 65 down here and I'm sweat and I'm kiddin ya feels like Florida oh I see it I mean this this thing is just I would put her up there with art there she is 1972 Chevelle this is the independence model you know that's up there above the SS they basically just heavily weight reduced them for racing man this thing is nice what blew a zipper what have we got in there nothing good oh boy well I never even saw this side dang it we're missing the stars up there and we've got more speed holes back here this is for drifting mainly and let's err you know come through here keeps you low to the ground that's rotted I mean basically it's what I'm used to working on we got a big blowout down there oh yeah I got some flop Γ€j-- that's nice hood pins that's 9 horsepower it's got rad g8 er in ER I mean this could work it's got a windshield I mean that's that's classy I don't know what that is you can't read the VIN that's fine what's Oh smells like moldy raisin bran cereal on Chex Mix I mean it's thick oh oh there we got mold growing in here mice yeah this she's got two sections on her Oh trip hazard this one she's blowing out for cornering the wind hooks in there and brings you around this is uh she's just got an unprecedented amount of bondo in her and I wonder yep frames rotting great well you don't need both of them you know we're not gonna look at the other one and just say it's good she's got all four tires this one's a little droopy but that's fine so here's the thing a little bit different this time I'm actually not allowed to work on it here it's a active car lot so that makes sense I don't blame them I'm gonna have this towed to my motel and we're just going to kind of sneak her in the back and maybe they won't notice that I've got a car blown into pieces that's painted like the flag I'm sure that'll work that'll work just fine well we got her you know plop down real nice like back here and some reason had dropped 82 million degrees in the last three hours you know so she's a balmy 35 and it's windy the winds just it bites India it's like a hot fork through gravy I ain't kidding yeah but anyway well we got some daylight left before it starts raining that's good a closer look at the old gal here and see over up against and then and all that time that I'm wasting there I'll try to figure out what to do with the old engine situation and I don't know just you know how I do things well just just weigh in look at the seat though I mean geez that's brand-new that's nice let's see if I get in this rig the floor is wet that's a good sign okay I think we might have brakes I'll be dipped I was afraid to press them good ones the NHRA race engages this is 16 horsepower that one's got stuff floating in it but you don't need a temp gauge Bend that one out of the way this is actually nice she's a AC unit that'll bring the value up about 26 bucks and then of course this year otherwise they say Malibu or sure that all up here you know what's in here I don't know we need the key baby that doesn't do anything cuz it's the wrong key well mystery box who knows got back here though got the original grill that's smashed pieces and we got things in the trunk there's a plate and there's an air cleaner and I don't know some stuff headliner is good you just you know what tape that up later no gotta worry about down this one's a little inconvenient right in front of the eyeballs though you know I just this is my view she just hangs down we'll happened to do so oh I just made it worse just I didn't barely touch it I swear and I just flew down but anyway let's go see what's in the trunk these independence models didn't have keys you got to use these race you and it's here I meant he just lifts you know they do this and then you just left you do this and lift at the same time there see that's easy oh okay well okay so you all have seen me foam some stuff before but this is this is advanced level foaming I'm you know I'm not even mad I'm impressed I mean this is yeah let me get this seat out of here look at this craftsmanship I mean well they missed a little spot there but I mean it's small enough they got it all the way down I just I'm gonna leave it just like that it's already done I don't got to do nothing when she's had to good alright enter wait a second that's full power steering pump was probably shot wrong license plate to a truck that means it's not stolen air cleaner lid I don't know that's probably brake fluid great we've got a free belt on that's pretty good actually that might be the factory but that's it I think that's the original that guy just in case that filter looks good and this is gonna be the seat in this color they call light saddle and I'm gonna have a dark saddle no build sheet under there and of course the other backsides gone yep yeah get that back in there I think we're just gonna ignore that we looked at any of this and just you know we're just kind of kind of that's fine but brain just reminded me that I'm 600 miles from home and this is my chariot so we got to get serious here I'm gonna run you through the a VIII's of getting a v8 running and it's pretty straightforward you got to have some sort of fuel preferably something from the 80s that you use for your lawnmower a doll doll weak spark just enough for fire and then you want six out of eight of your cylinders to have compression most of these three things you just have to have so before we work on any of that we should probably see if it even turns over if the engine stock because that's gonna put a fork in this whole project too right now what is out of five eights probably you know a guy used to get the anxieties about this part because you know it could be a little nerve-wracking but now I just don't care you dig in and see what you get and it's good or not run i ratchet off the old crank snout and just give her a twist I'm wearing gloves this time because this has got the seven blade gym fan on her and I don't want to cut off 13 fingers slipped come on now we got Turnage I did just hear a really weird sound from the starter though so either the starter drive is jammed in the flywheel or we got some bigger issues great that's perfect well let's move on to fuel it's got a quadrant junk jam directly into a Neville brach and take that leaks excessively so this is all good we just got to get fuel in here that's free it's got the choke modulator set to seventy nine point four percent so we'll leave that these are expertly plugged off I mean I've already worked on this car maybe I don't know so that's all good let's go look at the tank situation good even how's the tank I don't know probably not all the stuff from what I shut the trunk what's under here oh we got a tank yeah she's bone-dry it's never in here is probably varnish anyway I've been lucky enough Toto run some cars off to tank like Rocky the 69 I brought back but I think for now what we might do is you know we'll just come right off the old fuel make it happen er and bring her up into a jerrycan and let her suck out of that and see if the carburetor works first that'll take care of the fuel so let's get that done okay go look I know everyone's got their special tools and their toolboxes but if you don't have ten feet of fuel lying in there you need to do a self evaluation or where you're out in life I just ripped it off that's enough fuel line you see it gets you to the passenger side seat of about any made vehicle well this operations looking sharper than a thumbtack a third grade and I ain't kidding it I got a rigged up down here and I did the right thing and just use a zip tie that'll work and brought her up here and I got my level modulator installed I know this is a little excessive but I got to keep that length in case I got a drop a tank down there on the floor you know you gotta slip it through here but it'll work and this is expensive I don't want to cut that some nice subscribers sent me electro digital pump to help prime fuel lines but I forgot it so I'll probably end up doing the right thing and just sucking on that we'll see maybe not okay fuel check let's move on to spark we got the lightning wheeler up there we'll check in a minute but I think I'm gonna pull a spark alator out and then we'll take a look at the Lightning hoses and see how they're looking and we'll go from there these Lightning hoses are drier than Betty lights back but no work will check on the firing order later all right I always like to take this sparkle ater out for some reason I think it's because my belly hangs on the fender just right and also it's easy to get to she was really loose in there that's that's a good sign oh I got a headlight that's nice Oh oil-soaked running rich not good so I'm just gonna put this back in and pretend that I didn't look at it for now and hopefully we don't have to come back to it great well a guy loosely chucked on the firing order and what I mean by that is you know the 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2 I kind of just lay here and follow this side and head looks like they're shootin off in the right angle over there you know proportionate to where the cylinder should be you ever take so you know that's we're close enough for now unless we have a firing issue and the cap let's see oh boy I'm gonna pretend I didn't see that either Roeder looks pretty decent the ignition module she's yellowed out probably the fall of 77 maybe the spring of 78 what has put this back on I do have some ignition parts but man I'd really like to return those help make up for some of the fuel costs you know it just gets expensive well let's check on some oils I guess I don't know apparently this is what you call maintenance oh we got lots of red that's a good sign that's that's pretty good still actually you don't want to run these transmissions dry you'll take that front pump right out of them let's see what we got for engine oil that's bad definitely old so someone must have tried the top or offer some trans fluid but never changed on the damned old oil Oh B depth well I think she's about time we throw a battery in her and crank her over a little nervous about that starter hopefully it's not an issue but I'll keep the old lightning wheeler unhooked and we'll just spin on it and maybe these gauges will work and we'll see if it can build a couple pounds oil pressure and then you know we'll feed her some onions we'll just dump some gas down here and see if we can get some fire you know there's two very important reasons why I picked this battery one is she says value craft right honour and of course the other one is she's got the gold handle just like that Wow get out of here get out where's the other ear it is now no fire comes out of here this should be pretty good I got black wires hooked to rad red wires hooked to black I got a purple one in here [Music] no fire we'll take it Wow let's see what happens when we turn the old key here well I got a fan maybe I got a heater that would be nice Jen light that's good too early to see if I got headlight egde here we go cranking and which one far left is oil [Music] not showing me any pressure well it's probably spending too slow I don't know let's just fire it up I got the lightning we're either hooked back up and normally I like to put just a little bit old gas down here was some two-stroke oil but I got my tank up here so I'm just gonna use a Scotia laughing gas and see what that does yeah that'll probably start a fire here we go she fired but when I had a little pressure for a second but there was some weird grinding and not so good noises we'll see if we can ignore those I did like that the oil pressure came up that's probably more glitter come on now oh I saw smoke coming off of the ground on the alternator bracket what's that about this guy in here just got cherry red and I ain't kidding yeah so I don't know I'm gonna probably take that off and just try to clean it up a tickle normally I wouldn't be doing this stuff to be honest but I don't really feel like burning this old motel down it probably wouldn't be so good well she's dirty good thing I brought the old wire brush with here ouch I kind of heard still hold and if you make noises with your mouth it's almost like you're using you know an angle grinder or something and it'll get the job done I don't know that'll probably work just snip that back on there and give her another goal you know my favorite part about working on it at this motel so far as all the people coming up to me going why are you even trying to get this thing running my response hasn't wavered whatsoever I just say America that's kind of what it sounds like come on [Music] oh I got this is 40 pounds of oil pressure at crank goodness I wish that it would be pulling fuel out of that jug might have to Prime honor let's see if we got anything coming out of squirters here you know nothing this is I figured well come on then okay I don't want to give me a jinx but this is going rather well to be honest normally I'm just completely miserable by now and I'm only about 22% miserable so we're ahead of the game it's clearly gonna run so I'm already thinking about the old transmission cuz that's the next thing that would just shut us down like you wouldn't believe so if I get her idling long enough to run through the old bolt-action you know see if we got some gears I think that's is that a plan am I making a point I can't believe it that's what we're doing next I'm gonna try to fill the balls through the vent to the area see if we can get her percolating long enough to suck the fuel through the Pope none of this is going through the vent to a visit that's fine it would just pour some in there - oh right out of them right out of the base of the carb you know that's full ignore that oh goodness there we go 60 pounds oil pressure oh man I don't think she's pulling from the jug yet Wow let's give her some more come on it's better something wrong with the starter for sure oh they got me what was that I don't know you're going now let's try her again Oh I don't know if that's timing issue baby let me bring back to timing this is a tickle she's locked nude 29:16 I don't know let's go with right there that's what my guts and see what that tells us lots better still not getting fuel though it's probably hugely impart to the Massa barely company I'm properly installed carburetor but we're gonna still just continue to ignore that guy started suspecting on the fuel pump down there so I plopped the old lying off got fuel there and then I cracked out on her up here and I got seals there too it's starting to weep just a little bit know that I look so I think would just kind of keep cranking honor and you know maybe she'll come back or our probably not I think we're gonna have to do something with that carb setup I'm thinking this time is really it this is gonna be it a little bit better more importantly let me check the heater motor nothing why did it work before there she went she's got a tickle the key on the heater fan here well this is the only battery I got I need to be careful here I got my needle and float to gesture we're just gonna see if that could be just on the floats a little bit you know fine adjustment well I was that runs like she just came off the dangled showroom I'll take that back maybe I use showroom but she's running you know see if we got squirter action now not them if you need more adjustment maybe she's running like a scalded coyote bot so oil pressure what I keep thinking of signing is probably the massive vacuum leak this Latin music oh yeah barely Ronon sounds great well the old girl you know she's been island for a few minutes now so I think it's time we try the transmission out see what happens I think I'm gonna go backwards because if the brakes don't work they kind of going uphill and I could just jammer in the park again then we'll try the forward gear the brake pedal is just rock solid there's really no movement I don't like that either but that's okay here we go oh yeah we got reverse can't tell about brake set neutral please Oh solid drive I mean it's there I think we're gonna make it home you should probably cancel my Greyhound bus ticket oh yeah she's a good unit she's a good unit no guy jumped on the old facespace marketplace and she came through for me I got a set of tires coming they're bald from the 90s and there aren't some bent up rally wheels but that's fine kind of like putting a prom dress on a pig but this thing I look sharp and then I also realized I made a good parking decision so I got a street light right here and she's got one of them LED lights you know the right kind so that's good I can tinker longer I think but let's move on to change the oil you know you can run it on this old oil most that Gunks in the bottom of the pan and gonna hurt it to test fire and whatnot then you know you're not wasting the money you know but you start feeding the coal to them and you suck that sludge up in the screen then you're in a world of hurt so we'll drop it change it real quick I got some O'Reilly brand for no particular reason other than it was cheapest on the shelf typically I'm into the diesel oil because it's got more dinosaurs and vitamins in them you know but this should work just fine I'll grab the pan and get this thing jacked up and done what's that noise oh this don't look good you know I haven't done the old full frame check on this yet and I got bad news I mean it's it's shot I mean I've driven some sketchy stuff but this is great this is a little more sketchy than that 50 Buick frame lease that went out some metal in here you know and I don't mind wrapping myself around a telephone pole at high speeds but this thing comes apart like a pop-can on the interstate and someone else gets hurt I don't like that too much at all so I got a ponder if I'm gonna take this on the road or not but like I always say you're handed lemons trade them for whiskey me and we'll figure it out I'm just gonna change on the oil right now and just block this out for a little bit and then when it comes down to goal time we'll make a decision okay plan I got updates passenger side wheel Turnage check that one sounds pretty good too I got the jack stands under the lower control arms which I absolutely hate but doable right through the frame if I try that got wheel turning over here far too easy which means no brake shoes left maybe I'll try to adjust on them it is a th350 flywheel looks decent I got an oil leak already brewing down there and driveshaft feels solid but we'll know more once we jack up the rear and see what the new joint looks like and maybe we'll pop the rear diff I don't know we'll see it just feels like I'm getting thinner okay here we go hopefully in the water Legos or sand it's really bad well doesn't feel like there's a ton of gas or anything in there that's good it is hot oh goodness all right we'll filter oh she was loose - it's fine you don't need them tight oh there she goes oh not on the concrete dang it always maybe it's a guy who buys room service I'll kind of look on the elbow meter if anyone can explain that to me go right ahead you know the hardest part about doing oil changes in random motel parking lots is actually just getting this thing clean enough to go back in the old toolbox otherwise everything just gets miserably dirty I just spit some with a little bit of Hearts cleaner and then let that go down the hatch and then wipe her down you know there we go she's coming right out of it here's a question I don't think I've asked you fellers before maybe I have well look at that America flags anyway what kind of oil do you guys run in your rigs you run little jiggle jiggle on the headlights and I got both units up and running this one gets squashed by the battery in there yeah and this guy I don't know she was just loose he's just kind of jiggle you know she came back around so that's good that means I can probably run this down the highway at night pretty good because well I mean there's no plates on it you know what are you gonna do that one's a little brighter than that guy she's a little sick but that's okay they must have just sat this in a paint shop or something I don't know kind of looks weird anyhoo well anyway the generator lay it on the - stuck on so it's like a guy better check on this alternator make sure she's putting out some Lightning we don't need that battery going dead honest on the highway Moses that would be bad so I'll get the old digital meter out and test on that guy I guess well we'll test the voltage at the battery and then we'll bring her over here to the alternator and test on it there and the alternator should put out thirteen and a half to 14 and a half fourteen point nine but if she's over fifteen you know you're gonna boil this battery right to the ground and also if she's putting out juice but she ain't charging at the battery then that's just a simple wiring issue so I'll fire it up and see what we got I guess kind of low-level point six yeah she's a bleak alternator it's putting out juice but that means off there on to the parts store passenger sides done just got to get this side whipped out real quick all the plugs are out and these are an order and driver side and the passenger side and you know they're all Drive fouled or carbon fouled and that's from being overly rich with the exception of that one right there you know and that's probably the vacuum leak cuz this isn't right at all I've already sprayed my laughing gas around the base and she pepped up so we know she's leaking not quite sure if I'm gonna put an adapter on it yet I did bring another carburetor I just don't know if I want to put that on yet went ahead and snake me up to an alternator here yeah and I'll pop this in tonight and we'll save all the noisy stuff and Rutgers for the morning there we go that wants to save on these for your court charge stop before you return it yeah whatever let's put her in how about that well how long is this bolt then goodness got her all installed but I don't like to lay this fittings looking on there she's about two seconds from snapping off so I'm gonna pop this one on there and burn her and I'll be much better I carry a case of these fittings from later care they're pretty handy and they've saved me I don't know 548 million times torqued well I think that's gonna do it for tonight we got quite a bit done tomorrow we got a tackle this carburetor issue I'm not sure if I'm gonna put the adapter kit on or if I'm just gonna put a whole nother Edelbrock on that I brought it's not the right carburetor it's the 750 which is way too much perfect and then tires and wheels I got to hook up with that guy there's Swiss beer today but that didn't happen and maybe we'll look at the wheel bearings and then of course we'll actually check the brakes so yeah that's actually still a lot left to do awesome anyway I'm gonna have a couple cold snacks and throw my feet up for a couple hours and as soon as the Sun shoots up we'll get right back into her morning 26 degrees spit and snow couldn't sleep last night but back Saussure I could barely walk this coffee is just sour I mean it's not good the good news is my bald and also severely dry rotted tires show it up but feller threw in some center caps all as well I've got about five and a half six hours work to do today in the next hour and a half if I'm gonna make it home and time to get a couple hours of sleep to open the shop tomorrow so everything is fine today I think this morning a guy is gonna get to feel it you sort it out and I think I'm gonna go this route that Quadrajet you know they're good carburetors you get them dialed in but I don't have the time that rebuild her this morning so we're gonna go this way a subscriber sent me this can you believe that way too much perfect and it says 650 crossed out 750 maybe but on here it does say 14 11 so it is the 750 which is way too much carburetor for this engine well what I'm thinking is if we can get the idle circuit dialed in and I just stay out of the secondaries we might be okay here too cruising down highway and then this will pop onto that intake easier yeah and I think I even got some adapter Rooney's for all the linkages and then we'll see if we can get this thing running just uh just a Titch better I mean it would be nice to have all eight cylinders I guess you know the other thing that guys are not considering today is I might have to run some fuel out of that factory tank and see if that's going to come out something where I can use probably put a pre-filter before the old steel pump and maybe another one after but I don't think they have a gas station every three miles so that one gallon jug isn't gonna work for me I think we'll just you know I'll just risk it go for it what do we have to lose bus ride home hosing goos off custom toque modulator there we go show you guys the issue here y'all that dark crud in there that was from me spraying starter fluid at the base in the carburetor and it was just dumping dirt and junk in there and if I take this and I flip her over then you can clearly see right here and right here big leaks so she was sucking you know she's sucking the air out on the sides so we'll do the square flange to spread board apke runis plop that Elbe rock on her and then that'll button all this right up this little pipe cutter here is handy and also fits it small spots like this I'm gonna snip this fuel line off I hope that carburetor works not that I don't trust a guy but maybe he sent it like hey can you fix this I don't know we're just gonna put it on and pray okay I think I got it thread that there just snag it on well what it's going on around here I guess that's just fine that's short great ah there just got to reroute it to where it's kinked back here and you get no vacuum but then she reaches thread these nuts on here and she's on its down I just can't see nothing vacuum advance I'll plug off the front port for now you don't need these PCBs you just you know hang them off to the side over there that's fine probably worth mentioning I did set my transfer slots to square you want just uh just a tick whole of them showing get your idle circuit dialed in right made sure my secondary blades are closed once we get her idle in here all hook the vacuum gauge up on the front and then we'll get our idle mixture screws dialed in now all I got to do is run a little piece of 3/8 gas line here hook up the linkage and then I gotta get some power over here to this electro digital choke what is that animal cloud oh it's a flying creature slip this on here something like that snag it onto this side well get on there what are you waiting for I talk it's being stubborn that feels not very good but it'll have to work when you take your special rated fuel clamps get them in there there maybe I put another one on this side I don't know ones probably plenty but filled the carburetor bowls up she should light right off hopefully yeah and then I'm gonna adjust the timing by my ear meter once I get that where I think she needs to be we'll bring the idol down to a decent rpm then we'll play with idle mixture screws and basically I got a vacuum gauge set up in here and we're gonna try to get the maximum amount of vacuum out of her and it's just science basically that just means you got a nice clean burn going on in there and those power pumpers you know and then we'll probably have to adjust the idle just a Titch and then to top it all off we'll shut her down and we'll try to fire her back up and see how she lights off I did give her just a little huff of laughing gas just to make sure she lights off why that starter sounds nasty she's alive again spot right there we gotta take some more blade out of it but I can't get my screwdriver in there now I can I'm gonna bring this out it's nut should quiet it down just a tickle it's later off again boy our timing is pretty dang close all right let's start here about 15 getting worse no the other way I'm at 19 big improvement I will bring the idol down there we go I'll just shut her down and see if she see if she comes right back up nothing like tuning with the old air meter fellers lock that in take some time I mean you got to go through about a hundred and forty two thousand small box before you can do that so don't be afraid to break out the time and light and the other ghiggia Magoo's I got this here guy rigged into the fuel line from the tank and I'm gonna pry them on it see if I can get the fuel up here I hope I can and then we're gonna see if we can run it right from the tank cuz that would be that would be nice and then I'll put a filter in line before the pump that way I can get about 19 miles down the road before this one fails then I'll just put another one in feeling pressure [Applause] yep you're really varnished probably yeah that's definitely late 80s Early 90s gas so that's good though that means I can just plumb this right down to the pump yeah I'll go get a couple fresh gallons and pop them in and we're in business that's good news got that all buttoned up you know hooker on up here so she gets some volume and pressure on and down under the pump got some zip ties down there and you know that's fine this looks good I think the engines about as good as we're gonna get her you know all this is oh I do need to get some wire or something hold this into place maybe when do you start blowing sparks off the radiator that gets exciting I think it's about time we throw these not so good or tires on I think they're dated 95 but you know they're certainly better than what I got going on right here so we'll start with the front and then I think we should probably you know we'll Gander out the wheel bearings just for just for a minute I didn't say repair but we'll just let's look at them to start well this one feels good so far when they get jiggler than John Goodman's neck that's when you know you got an issue going on but she seems pretty solid get this wheel off [Music] only four on this one but I think I've got like 13 different flavors and knots 14 different flavors and nuts on this thing oh yeah the old spider eggs and what have you this brake lines been rigged up before I could see that clearly try to save on this cap if I can oh yeah this one's coming off easy sometimes these puppies are just dramatically sealed on there we've got a really professional pin job tons of grease though I might go ahead and replace that cotter pin I'll get your brains in here so you can hook the peepers on it clearly this has been professionally had and redone at some point or another so I think I'm just gonna throw another cotter pin through there pretend that I lucked out the brakes fill this dirty cap full of more grease and just call this side good that looks brand-new [Music] something like that yep I don't know what that noise is but we'll ignore it see if we get lucky and this cat plops right off come out of there there we go other times you got to heat them and pry them this one someone put a cap on it with no grease no unusual movement I think I'll put a new pin in this one and call her good we'll fill this full of grease and when we smash her back on she's in a self pack those bearings and all the rest will ooze out the sides and we'll just wipe her up I don't know this one up front sure the weather in this state is bizarre now all of a sudden it's got to be 70 and I got sweat just running down my back like you wouldn't believe whoa look out lots of nice trim ring doesn't got a dent in it I forgotten about that frame until right now when I was about to let this thing down and see my now she's running pretty good you know I think I think I'm gonna give her a shot try to drive this thing but that means I got to fix this frame so I'm gonna show you how to do that and it ain't easy and it's not fun but it could be had in a situation like this just enough to get you home I gotta get my supplies and I'll show you how to do it you know there's a lot of engineering that goes into this frame so you got to really pay attention to the stress plane right here so what you're gonna do is just get this and get it in here and get this outside get make sure it sticks now don't cut corners and then like we'll put a piece down here like that there we go just keep going you know keep going tell you that you feel safe like this it's already much sturdier I can see that right away and there you go bring another one right around here you know yeah fixed I've owned more shovels and like the count and I've never had a rear brake drum just slide right off like that so I thought I'd hooked my peepers in here and I got I mean I got twenty thirty power brakes left on these so I'll just slide this back on call her good boom where'd that tyre go she rolled away from me dang it come back at least I know this one's round Oh getting low on battery right heard a rumor once that chrome gets you home so I went ahead splurged on this unit no I'm way over budget oh they don't give you the broad dude ever great now she's just dripping with Chrome I thought they used to give you stickers I'll be dipped I got ripped off I think the old girl is ready for a test run oh I almost forgot to check the brake and cool it checked all right now we're ready sure [Music] well I don't know what it is but fight it to keep the ball straight she started to get hot on a guy shot up from 220 so I had to bring her back down to 60 that's probably about 2500 rpm I'm guessing oh boy this is going to be a trip [Music] been going for a few hours now stop once for fuel didn't see anything leaking I got a oil leak on the front there of course that gas is flowing out but I'm gonna leave that be for now everything else is kind of hanging in there it's actually starting to run a little bit better just got to get the top left going on [Music] [Music] well a guy just filled up you got about 155 miles left stop the check on lights gets the old to down down one but usually to just jiggle on me there she is see it's got a jiggle I'm back here sure what that is hopefully that state is on for me [Music] and wonderful got bastards oh yeah she's got dashes in there [Music] two taillights so we're good to go 155 more miles it's like one more blast and I can get there I'm getting tired so I'm looking forward to a couple stiff drinks I'm my own bad you know what I mean [Music] [Music] oh man I am so close to home I got like two neighborhoods to have to sneak through and I'm there she's gonna spit snow at me for about last 40 miles but I haven't had these wipers thank goodness cause a light alright so far mileage and then thank good I think we're there knock on wood [Music] yes yes oh don't think of it end up like this no tickets no breakdowns oh she's I mean this is I don't think she had another 30 miles in it she's running real rough but we got here man and it was it was a ride this Friday was so gone I mean my toy Highlanders I just burn it because it was just fighting the whole time I could hardly eat chips in this thing because he just got to keep her on the road but she made it was pretty pretty inconvenient I'm not gonna lie but she's home now I need ideas what to do with this thing is it too far gone we just scrap it dump it off the cliff pull the engine out
