my house and I hit a couple of side rows this is they actually a cul-de-sac here on the deck rubella see a damn thing there's a coupla stack out there and up on top of the hill are these two machines and walking up on them just like a little baby Suzuki just met my line I got Rampton Beck doesn't roll I might be a little fun to get in truck but we're getting in the truck let's go see what this one is I know this is Sookie something watch your toes let's go see about loading those suckers up I really gotta get a winch built into my truck because these are the ramps I had my trailer just so happen to have them in there but angle on them is ridiculously steep when you guys have to help me push it would really help worst case I'm gonna take two a little longer than getting in there easier what is this like a two thirty or something I wish me luck come along will you awesome right about now well that was a good score a little it's hard to get in the big one now we also walk up on the little one she's a peach hey guys and how's it going hey I grab his ATV about three weeks ago we have a spring to fall cleanup a couple of the towns around here do that most of towns around here do that and what you have is garbage pickup and you could pretty much throw out anything you want other than hazardous materials and they'll come and get it so this and another smaller four-wheeler we're at one location and we loaded them up on the truck not easily but we got them anyway I know nothing about it I haven't looked at it yet other than the quickie visual that we did when we dragged him into the garage from the from that video I'll try to put a link to that if anybody's interested that was a good day picking one thing we saw was the case it's like somebody gummed up the case right here probably through the chain did a chomp in there last time it was on the register for trails it's 2010 so about ten years ago and it looks like it's just been sitting out in the woods er you know behind the garage or something for a long period of time I'd like to see if we could bring it back to life mica will it run but if that does not pan out we're gonna go tear it apart and find out why it died gotta be some reason why they stopped riding it you know if it's minimum it could be bad fuel and they just wouldn't start for them or it's totally blown up or transits gone or something meteors just wrong with it and either way we'll go figure it out and it'll be a park machine or it'll be a machine that gets resurrected to ride again so let's get you set up in the stand we'll start getting some stuff off it and do a little bit of Investigation well first let's see if we can get this he's got a pull cable on the back here with a piece of sheetrock hardware she's got a little spike sticking out of it you can see it right there anybody home you might run it yeah that's not well there's a problem she seized some of the creddies let's get these four bolts out of here and so you can get this plastic half out of our way get a better look [Music] full full of something probably 50/50 water mix do you think our chances are for oil exhaust is kind of crushed into it though get it out get a little light will poke down inside there see if I can take a peek inside I do see I see oil I'm seeing water in it that's a good sign go figure out why the internet turned over though plugs hand-tight like somebody probably was here before us there's a coil wires off of it do we even have a coil where you even have a coil you see it no they're just not good so at least it's physically there let's go take a peek see anything absolutely obvious right off the bat on the other side do you want you will probably take this cover off it'll expose this to the mag and we might be able to get a little bit better rockin on the engine you can go backwards with it we'll shoot some oil down the cylinder that's alright we'll put some oil in the cylinder I got some I think I have some marble here we're transmission fluid one of the two will put inside the plug hole and let that sit while we're opening this cover off we got a plan [Applause] into a container we can get into a little thin ketchup for the system right like the small that the marble what like peppermint and a helping hand yeah see you screw here I wonder if there's one nothing this mess I think that would be oh is it where's the brake on the cover let's take I think there's I think this one right here let's do you get that for a little bit maybe we'll just take all the other ones off and we'll see if it comes out of the way just seems like a far spin to go from here to here yeah I think I'm all out see we get getting down that one well if both of the pedal just so swings down out of the way in couple of taps and should just fall right off worse do some whittling I think so now if there was once it's gone starting to bleed for yourself what that pans gonna be big enough I really don't want to stick a screwdriver in between might get a putty knife working with a putty knife yeah to putty nice yeah possibly two of them in there and then driving between you know it's holding up on the holding up on the ship come to me the other thing we got down to is just put it bumped it in gear and kind of rolled it back and forth but I know that case is already damaged anyway so I wanted to take a peek what we had going on Captain Hook was that's the time and keen issue or something figured I asked to kind of stay behind yeah no it doesn't stay behind a tad bit of jb weld on that building that corner back up all right let's go see if we get a sake we'll get a socket on here in a little breaker bar we see from kind of rock it back and forth and get the engine to free up all right tool for the right job so this way between is run boys you can get a little bit of move back and forth will be good but I mean it literally could have a drop valve in there we got now there goes yeah all right looky grimy though yeah let's go the direction it's freer that's right down here yeah it's gonna make it a little bit around not will go there yeah see you gotta go round twice for stroke if we get a drill on it maybe well that'll just let it go I think we got it though yeah we weren't we probably might even able to get it with the food the transmission no let's tighten it up again here it just a little bit of rust on them all right okay this way we'll go this way it's just got one spot I don't know if it's valve related get a little bit more set up a drill right there it's kinda grubby let's work that one spot let that Marvel kind of splash around the piston because problem is you even if you fill it up got all kind of runs to the to the lower side you know let's go down I have a decent a moment keep talking like this in year YT I think it does well it's an automatic or clutch normally you would see a basket might be on the other side all right let's give her a little give her some more p.m. to the drill name jiwon drill which one slow gear you can shoot soil out of a cylinder try the other way [Applause] [Music] what's wrong it's like a little boom feel to it let's yeah it's with that trying to the engine to run then we'll deal with it maybe I'll put a socket or something in the other stuff the whole questioning opposition I think the cables kind of bound up that is squeeze the lever I'm not doing supposed to help no clutch probably throws it is in Reverse that's what it is that would make sense why I wouldn't go out of here that was simple [Laughter] very good down that's what's happening let's go put that tie wrap up on that get out of our way and now let's go pop the valve covers off and we'll make sure that the valves just not hanging down on us let's go wash that intake valve see if it has any kind of yeah it's not that it bound up put my finger on the exhaust valve Oh feel that one [Music] nope no problem I just want to maybe just a little crud on the side of the cylinder walls not sure you don't think the shaft being now let's see the shifter shaft not being supported go backwards no let me go book rounding that bore take a peek inside with a scope and see what you see anything got a borescope in there yeah back up for a second so that's the top of the piston you know see the Pistons all the way down to I don't see anything obvious I mean wipe it for a second or there is still some foil top yeah thanks you a little better robbery is a reflection of the light sometimes is causing it to look like that's where a valve would sit right there you see with a little cut away to the at nine o'clock bend on it I do not see anything I was kind of wondering if we were gonna possibly have any damage you see that valve was hitting the exhaust valve side that's oil right there so yeah with little shiny spot is that's just a light reflecting on oil side cameras flashing you're gonna shut off in a second here's the other one back it up there's the other one there's oil sitting in that cavity I do not see any hits the image so I don't think there's anything in a combustion chamber other than possibly maybe there's just some carbon on the top that is kind of crunching on so I'm gonna go put some oil back in it again more oil will spin it up a little bit more see what happens right there is the with about the valve cutout is on the top of the piston and this right here is just on the wall you know you back to all the way up a quenelle hole over 50 exam you know you might be able to shoot some right on the valve right pal take the intake more more than likely it would be an exhaust issue anyway okay get on it get on the stem part of it so if the stem got some crud on it it's opinion right through it is why would that go right through oh no ok I'm thinking I I just put it down the center of the it's peeing out for this P now because the is just running down to the galley down below I'm I'm you I'm talking myself let's go load her up pretty good again for some more spins I spin over slow I don't want to shoot that all that oil on right away and you want it to splash around a little backwards I got me Oh it so it's definitely not a valve issue it's it's hard on that two-timing chain somebody in the timing chain having chain just got it I'll buy a lot of slot to it unfortunately does look like we could [Music] it's popping all the oil out of the oil pump system do you dribbling that's okay I want to purge that anyway it's spinning at this slow I'm not afraid of the crank getting damaged today the crank already had damages it's gonna have it running it with no oil in there it's not gonna be our failure point you know I would prefer for was able to have oil stay in there but it is what it is and it doesn't jelly if it's a crank that that's like seasoned you would feel it all the time he would just you know have drag eventually just start knocking it's pretty smooth I've kind of think of time and change but I don't want to tear into it we don't need to think we're gonna take that valve cover over there I'm gonna work it a little bit more we spin it a little bit more than we're probably gonna go pop this off and if we should be able to see the you one side of the chain let's bring up the RPMs a little bit [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] see it's a metal pumping out of it starting to feel pretty free I think what I would like to do now maybe we'll put a compression test in here we'll give her a couple of kicks over and we see if you have compression we know if we get a good number then we know the top-end is okay and if not then we'll know they'll pull that off get a hundred pounds a lot of pounds for you are you looking at mm-hmm we got a hundred pounds I'd say maybe we put it together throw some oil in it I should put together throw some oil and we'll see if getting spark do we can kind of move forward from there go for a Hail Mary you know actually the timing channel we can see right there no I didn't catch that earlier let's go give it a slight rotation so you're gonna prop the light up in there I don't see anything yet and I shined the light to the bottom of the crank can kind of see let me see up through the air and I picked up with this scope I want to see Peck see any blue or anything on the bottom of the crank on the rod and all that looks fine - so don't know very pod yeah what would be bottom dead center that would interfere with the crank turning that you know gentle he's always thought that sounded like that on the cylinder head side of things unless there's something on the cam if the cam is binding in its and it's a cradle right so if the cams spinning around it's all sloppy or whatever it gets it doesn't have to matter where the piston is that could be still at an issue hmm I'll poke around a little bit more it does have a cable activated decompression valve there's no cable on it hmm I wonder if it'll snap back once we give it a kick yeah I don't know if that's a separate valve by itself or does it just hold the exhaust valve open longer you got arms way I see we put it back together give it a couple kicks see if we got spark if we got spark we're gonna go dump some gas in it so happens that gooped up that covered he put oil in it yet I want to let it set up but let's go see and then Udall the question is whether we have spark if we got oil the eyeball yeah I did not see spark goes there we go all right it picked up on camera we got it that's a that's a really good thing so is that bugging us as much as it's bugging me let's go little them up a tad he's trying to make him round so something put oil in it I want to let that cover set up a little bit more then I'm gonna draw it in one last tighten quite but another half hour so the mean time for the air on the tires I'm gonna go pull the carburetor off there it's frozen it needs to be addressed and for us to fire it up it'd be nice to give a little bit of fuel you know through that intake and I also want to make sure there's no no critters in the filter side of things which is more than likely more than likely I'll leave it at that and we're about halfway up the site classmen two-thirds and nothing's leaking good sign the boss is here too right yeah any suggestions my biggest critic all right so we can puff a little bit of fuel down the spark plug hole or the intake carbs off of it and it was no fanfare I did not have it full of crap either actually wasn't half bad I surprised it was nothing the intake what do you think you a little down the plughole you might need that decompression valve too on one plug I like several electric start yeah well we're well I am catching my breath kicking when I get that carpet or into and get it soaked real fast so that it could be doing its thing while we're screwing around I'm guessing a ton of water got in it I can't cuz I was left outside I'd say the last last three we did and that issue drumroll please - yes that's straight water that is my gas runs on water man see how things look she's not that the floating everything still moves so it's not like it's terminally ill she needs all the love infant let's do the old racing Brigitte lower the water deal yeah pop its at that pent-up float tear it apart I think you guys have seen this a gazillion times I have a hard time trying to work alongside myself I'm over here it's not it's not over here I can see it choked out real quick moves nothing found up good old mikuni get stab myself in the finger right now it screwed ours just a hair too big to fit fit in a slot you know problem being too big to fit in the slot that the idle speed one is round tip that was bound up pretty good I think the choke out and pop the float out of it get that last yet out I know that that still car works going around put you on the other side of things yeah any more fuel just kind of clean the plug so yeah it's our tying that decompression valve up just to hard to kick through and it's not hooked to anything so she'll live I mean it's all the valve timing and everything is okay happy about that carb all back together you want to go see that happen go pick one of the other nine hundred videos and then the phone rang then I dropped the carburetor and of course it lands right on the threads let's fix it slides long as the slide screws in we should be fine I'm gonna clean those threads up on a wire wheel - you go back in threatening we'll be ok if not we have to whittle a little more sometimes less is more pack good to me the only problem is I don't think that's right okay was any cadet throttles well it's froze able to give it any gas I don't know if I want to get into that right now but we could probably do is just pop it on and you could run the thumb screw in to open her up a little I could just leave maybe leave the top loose and pull up on a cable I got put the linkage on yet for the choke good damage averted crisis damage crisis who says they can't work the throttle did you yank on the cable trottle all right we're hooked up the cab the Lily just can't wait for the anticipation and fuel is filled up today right there and it's holding that's a good sign it's kicker so you shall live how many hundred kicks do you give it hey way to stay Rhonda do that that's the idle speed adjustment thank you sighs why is it one day stay right I'm getting too old for this you're stalling for choke let's try turn it up all the way up close the throttle up so let's see the bit that's worse I got to try something or if the intake nice you got effort drag run out of gas heck the plug I heated the plug up or torch let it burn off crap she's like yeah let's sit for a minute then it comes alive I'm pretty convinced it's fuel to a positive could be spark cutting out I don't think so I tried choking off with the tape on the back of it they get that heat compression doll from duck you click it each time up top just where it is now it's kinda hard to do yeah each other it's it that's it for Thursday it yeah so it's on the first kick which that's how it's just not getting enough gas why that would be I don't know she didn't kill ass it never really is really impressed oh yeah from the trash sir on it oh yeah I think supposed to have a thumb lever up top somewhere sometimes they're automatic too when you go to kick it it's connected to the kicker at my tip anywhere was yeah he may have had it from the kicker and it goes over to the decompression valve every time you go to kick it gives you that that first initial shot with a young momentum and then then it allows it to kick into you not to kick through it whoo smells good smells like burnt peppermint oil yeah guys I think we're gonna leave on a good
