What if Minecraft Villagers Gave QUESTS?

hey what's going on guys long god zip here we added quests to villagers in Minecraft see says quest and not only do these green-eyed weirdos offer you quests now they offer you some serious goodies too such as all you know efficiency 10 Stone axis magical water buckets unbreakable bows sharpness last prot six books golden apples speed gems diamond boots with feather falling 5 and a lot more this village is filled with tons of different villagers that you can approach in order to get quests in-game now these quests come in the form of books that will task you with various different things you'll need to accomplish whether it's so you know breaking a certain type of block maybe placing a certain type of block down heck you sometimes even have to kill creatures for your quest although sometimes it doesn't work out there are even more special items you can get from these villagers that we won't have time to jump to in today's video but if we get 15,000 likes on today's video then we'll make a part 2 and cover it all just as a preview check out the speedy gem amazing the speed on this is insanity and now you're about to watch us oops anyways here's the quests alright it's a fresh day we're here in this village and these Oh careful guy the villagers want to trade luckily we've already got all the emeralds we're gonna need so normally where you would need to trade emeralds to these villagers in order to get your quests before I got that part taken care let's see what this guy's got to offer Oh check that out a speedy gem so some of these villagers offer items that you can't get anywhere else but we're gonna need a quest coin for that and we get a quest coin by beating the quest which does cost 5 emeralds so we'll buy one you only get one quest you see only one and then it runs out so let's see what we have to do here quest kill 1 iron golem uhh right oh boy he's giving me the look okay well we literally have nothing except emeralds and now this book so I'm gonna just quickly throw together some tools to get us to at least a stone sword and then we could figure out the rest all right stone sword nice and handy oh boy oh well should have thought that one through hey dummy can't get me now oh you're the worst sometimes guys you just got to learn how to use that big old brain and look at that you hear that noise it's the sound of that sweet sweet coin hitting my wallet and apparently we got diamonds too whatever now there's something worth noting about this quest coin you can only use the coin on the villager that gave you the quest hope that's a bed where is this guy oh what's up dude you see can't do anything with this coin you cannot claim it you have to go back to the original guy so with that we'll take our speedy gem oh wow I like this so it's got two different options when it's in your offhand you attack a lot faster look at that that is the difference in the cooldown on the hotbar and then when you hold it in your main hand you get a speed boost hey plus we got enough iron from killing that golem to make a sword and a shield perfect now there are 20 total different quests I don't know we're gonna get to all of them today but oh we get protection six sharpness six for this one yeah definitely buying the that guy so let's see what this new quest is place 16 glass panes man seems like is gonna be a pain hey yo this village is huge I mean look there's literally a house up there too we've got a lot of quests to burn through oh here we go perfect baby I'm gonna make me some of those yeah and then one of these yeah I love the new crafting menu to be honest alright so we need 16 glass panes I think that means we only need to make eight glass because then you turn glass into glass panes that just means we need some cobblestone hi little guy all right so we got one coal the sands gonna cook that up meanwhile we've got some lunch or dinner or whatever time it is cooking up right here now again the idea behind these quests would be to liven up villages and what you can get done with them and as you can tell some of these quests will cause you to do things you might not normally be doing in a minecraft survival maybe you never make glass panes you know what I mean it's gonna take you out of your element and it's gonna reward you for doing so I could see them very easily sending you on task go collect podzol go collect blue ice actually encouraging you and giving you full-blown reasons to look around your world and see if you can get your hands on some things you've never done before in Minecraft now again this is simple enough we're just placing down panes but look what absolutely place down all 16 we got our quest coin and so for our trouble we get ourself a nice protection 6 or sharpness 6 book can't use it yet wouldn't want two more quest to do though oh look at him he's stuck what are you dumb he's literally stuck all my favorite guy and look he's got like an audience right here that iron golem over there he's like just watching okay how about you what do you have to offer magical water bucket come again I don't even know what this is I haven't seen this before in the project okay so let's see what this quest is all about then quest we've got kill five cod oh my god it's inhumane let's do we've also added certain events to this village so some of the quests require you to kill certain creatures maybe those creatures just show up because there's a quest nearby maybe one of the villagers wants us to get rid of some creepers or some Enderman or something nearby because they've been invading the local village villagers is an awesome way to bring so many different elements of Minecraft into the game in a realistic way such as with raids they're attached directly to villages now we can find that lake we might be well on our way there we go finally got one spawning in I have been widows too alright alright check it out you're dead and if we look at our quest you can see that the progress bar actually updates on it so these are locust three he's alive updating quests look at your hands on well probably not cuz we made the update but one can dream all right found the last one cold quest completed got my coin alright so riddle me this what doesn't magical water bucket do I gotta check this I don't wanna do to the village okay we're far enough from the village so let's see what you do oh you gotta be kidding me infinite water yes please you'll look at this stone you could literally scale a mountain using your infinite water just try it oh that's awesome yo we just got way up this mountain in no time oh that's kind of larious at the top of this mountain is another villager house let's see what this trades all about what do you got for me in efficiency 10 stone axe yes all right well what do you want me to do it for a guy kill ten creepers what are they getting in the way you chopping away at the trees oh man we're gonna find these guys oh no oh close did that count as it killed nah they pause for one minute and that happens I'm just gonna fast forward okay well we managed to kill nine we have one more and it's about to be daybreak so I gotta comb through this forest and hope one spawned oh yes look a literally right there we can't let him die you know what I mean oh yeah all right hand it over I want the let's see how this thing chops y'all's ready oh whoa that is absurdly fast that is so fast yo you guys got to put mending on this thing ASAP this is like it's almost like creative editing it's faster than creative mode actually what the heck is a stone transformer yo I want this quest okay it says fetch me 16 iron ore interesting okay our best bets probably check that ravine where we dropped all our water off okay I think yep I already see iron that's a good sign oh and so look he doesn't even need the iron he just needs iron ore so we don't even have to smelt this baby oh man hasn't we done in no time question for you though guys if you could add any village requests to Minecraft what sort of stuff would you have them do he listened the comments sections we may do a follow up to this video okay we just need get to do this forever that have been a little much okay so you get like twenty five stone out of it very interesting don't know what I'd use it for but hey you I want to see what the guy at the very top with the ladder has actually I'm gonna make a quick stop what do you have reversal pearl that sounds sick not gonna lie dude this guy literally lives up in the snow this is the furthest I've ever seen a village away from the rest of its abilities what about you what do you got enchanted golden apple that's alright I'd rather have the reversal pearl what do you want for it place ten tea and tea that's a lot of gunpowder dude I think I'm gonna hold on to your quest for now Ryu what are you about what you got huh feather falling five diamond boots I could get behind that because there's a lot of ledges in this world what do you want for it kill three ender me okay well that's fine see the cool thing about the quest skies is that you're gonna have multiple running at the same time so you can pick up a lot of quests and then act on the ones that make the most sense meanwhile I'm gonna figure out what this man wants for this pearl reversal Pro kill aghast so we're gonna get to the nether we're gonna to bow to kill aghast and I think I found just the guy unbreakable bow so we've got four quests right now I could figure out what you these make the most sense to do let's see sixteen snowballs that's easy money look at that we could just go back up to that guy's house and so we shall y'all get me these balls so quick yeah already what's good honey give me that Bo yeah unbreakable Bo what do you got in here Oh bread thank you I'll take the pants too Oh sick and this guy's got an iron pickaxe in here yes please what do you even have to bowl and Channing yeah whatever okay currently hunting skeleton for arrows for the ghast found a great new way to handle creepers look and then you just back up and then you go right on over again with the fast and then you just back up look at that because when you switch hands the sword gets faster too okay way better idea for getting to the nether by the way then trying to get diamond pickaxe there I know there is there's got yep lava we got a bucket right here we're gonna make this thing happen yeah I mean really got it then I'll spare you the rest actually don't have to check it out we just got all the lava we could need literally right there so check this out we're gonna go ahead and make our portal in the easiest fashion possible all right so check this out look boom boom sorted grab you boom sorted grab you oh I love every second we're gonna build a portal alright final wanna do it took a little longer than I'd like to admit but hey so there's lots of things in my life oh now we gotta get I guess we don't technically need to actually now all we have to do is light the portal and we should be good Hey here we go now we ended up not finding really any arrows we have the one with our unbreakable bow so we can either get lucky find a gas or it's got to fire fire ball back at oh man I am very high up right now maybe everyone's bought in right cuz I don't think I need to actually collect what it drops I just need to kill one I want to hear one actually oh look there he is he's right there get my come on we got it we got one chance to do this yay yes we did it I'm so surprised baby hey out here I do not like the nether without fire-resistance potions I'm pretty sure was you yeah it wasn't oh its reversal pearl okay okay so what does it do I'm gonna throw it teleporting back in 20 seconds no way you must be joking me it literally is gonna it's okay well I guess it was Joe give me three seconds we're back we're literally right back all that is the coolest okay well speaking of ender pearls we do have to kill three Enderman for another one of those quests okay here's one of them literally live right behind the guy okay hey easy oh there - or did that one just teleport stop it you me stop oh jeez polar bears why is there a polar bear here sorry dude I'm gonna need your I guess I'm gonna need you to die really whoa evil sounding oh my god why so big the hugest oh now I come back for vengeance where did you just go even ah I hear him I think he's yep stupid oh I probably should put my armor off first yeah what are you looking at I'm just gonna be creeper hunting for my TNT needs until an Enderman appears and does what I also need him to do oh my gosh what am I doing wrong about this that's what it is okay I have to hold it in the one hand yeah okay found the last one perfect but he's surrounded by so many mobs and creepers I'm gonna hit him and then run yep okay cool now he can chase me but I'm Way faster than him so we we should be fine oh boys on me okay that should be good way to die great now he's gone what is what who's you know yes he was down by the river and I looked at him man maybe village you shouldn't have quests I'm stressed out take it I don't want it give me the boots iishe they do look good though at least you know ha ha oh there's another villager up here ok well let's see what this one wants huh we fight blaze rods already have access to the nether ok what do you want for 5 blaze rods place 16 torches happy day wait a second I got it ok so then let me see ok kept track of that well then wait a second can we be cheap little boys can we be cheap little boys if this is right Yoho keep placing these guys down again oh I'm glad I found this one like 1 2 3 4 5 perfect you know this guy's dumb yeah I definitely did all that thanks for the blazer I haven't even seen all the trades yet looting 5 sword turtle master helmet look at this one village your shield well what the heck's a gravel generator there's some like loony ones unlimited gravel dude that's obviously overpowered yeah this is a huge village I guess it makes sense with 20 different quests how about you what do you got huh health charm 40 percent max health dude I love the sound of all of these okay I'm gonna go ahead and knock out the last one we had which was the place 10 TNT so we got to do some creeper hunting don't mind if I get me some bread though first because we are oh he's like literally watching me hey man sorry I'm hungry you're allowed to do things like this when you're hungry it's written in the rule book what do you want knock back gem provides knock back resistance interesting okay well at this point we only need 12 more gunpowder to have enough for our tent tea and tea so I'm just gonna go to town I know for a fact we're gonna run into some creepers oh and naturally more Enderman right as we don't need them anymore okay this could be it I believe nothing okay well I spared you the rest of it okay here we go TNT all of it yes all 50 and now we're gonna do some we did a long time ago 7 8 9 2 3 4 5 10 yes perfect a quest coin also got some business to attend to Geronimo Oh baby I probably should not have done that buddy yeah yeah we fine it's actually not that big okay but away we go oh boy good thing we got those feather falling boots on honey oh we live through that one now look the reality of the situation oh is that there's a skeleton right there we gotta go go go go go you stay away from me look you're just taking already yes and she had an apple no I want the Apple guys if you want to see the rest of the quests in today's video you're gonna have to let me know by dropping alike because I'm afraid our time is up lucky rot 500 percent more luck ya know I am surprised dude
