We made 15 NEW Minecraft 1.14 Updates on our own

look guys minecraft is a great game no doubt about it but it's missing a lot of features that people have been begging for for ages from glass doors and boats with chests to seafaring mobs in gold and wheat that even golden gold for them today we present to you 15 new updates that minecraft should have added by now number one is awesome dynamic light we've been needing this it's nighttime you need to be able to see and sure you think you can see now but that's just cuz I have night vision on now get a load of everything well if there was dynamic lighting in games such as with oh I don't know lanterns we'd have a little bit of a different story look around us as all of the light comes with us when we hold the lantern things around us get bright no longer do you necessarily have to worry about placing torches down although it will keep mobs from spawning in you can now have brightness wherever you go now I'd like to point out that we are deleting certain grass blocks as we move along them we did add all these in-game ourselves these are just things that we think should be in game and we hope that mojo will add them it even works in your offhand slot so lots of coolness all around number 2 glass doors so you can finally have an entire house made of glass and you start throwing stones and here's the recipe for it as you may have guessed you just need six pieces of glass in a crafting table and as you might expect you'll get three glass doors which you can place down and open and close and see right through this is an amazing building aesthetic that we honestly should have in game by now I mean look this is gonna be perfect for your greenhouses where you keep all your crops it's an easy way to be able to see into a room without needing to worry about other mobs or players getting through and they work just like all doors would double doors you can automate them with redstone the whole works number three magma Walker boots right now we've got frost Walker boots that will out players to wear certain boots that will turn water underneath them into ice that will slowly melt back into water well magma Walker boots work just like frost Walker but for lava here we've got magma Walker - and so look at what happens the moment we step near this lava it will turn into netherrack fantastic but what's more once you leave the area you'll see that the netherrack will begin to crumble that's because the lava is going to seep back in look we can kind of see the lava coming through right there and as you notice it getting bigger and bigger eventually it will turn right back into lava so it's exactly the same as the Frost Walker but for the opposite types of liquid imagine traversing the nether with these babies it'd be so easy speaking of blocks that break number four brittle blocks yes a special adventure type block we'd like to see added in game these blocks break overtime when you walk or stand on them to make them choose a block of your choice in this case stone bricks and just add gravel to it and now you have brittle stone breaks as you can see it comes in various variants with chiseled stone cracked stone stone brittle stone cobblestone mossy stone etc so look what happens the moment you stand on top of a brittle block it will slowly begin to crack until oh boy yeah yo the suspense is killing me right there talk about a sense of urgency you literally have to take your sweet time and by that I mean the opposite of that whenever you're standing on blocks like this so here we got the two got the treasure I guess imagine placing these in your survival world and some kind of dungeon that you got to worry if I all right I get it wait maybe the water please should have been wearing my magma Walker boots I see much better this way number five boats with chests in them how else you gonna transfer all your items over the deep open sea like all these I don't know if I players type of command but simple here's what we think it looked like you got a chest you got a boat you got the boat with the chest in it you can get in the boat you can ride around the boat you can navigate with the boat you can get out of the boat you can use the chest inside to store things and then you can get right back in the boat beautiful how is this not in game yet seriously this just makes perfect sense if we can literally code this in with command blocks there no reason this should be in game yet well the other than that it's shaking oh god what's in it number 6 horse jump boots on alternative to enchantments for horse armor horse shoe enchant lets you jump higher in the air we've got horseshoe 2 on this so it's almost like a constant jump boost namely because look you jump you get a two-block boost on that we do have some brittle blocks all over the place recently but wow talk about an awesome to jump experience now we obviously can't code it in the game ourselves because we're just using commands and stuff but one of the other things we'd like to really see added in game and maybe with the horseshoe enchantment is the ability for players to just walk up blocks just like horses do in game as you can see here we've got a horse now and look the horse just goes right up when and Shanta that could do that I would be so happy or heck even if it made the horseshoe boots made horses jump higher you know we just need something to be able to spruce up our equestrian friends number 7 a pocket enchantment for leggings wearing leather pants with the pocket enchant lets you be insanely stylish but more importantly lets you right click when looking down to store a small amount of items in your pocket we've got leather pants with pocket 1 and a whole bunch of other gel we probably got put off pocket mmm-hmmm put it on on out look at that beautiful nothing seems to change when you've got your leather pants with pocket on you still have your full-blown inventory however the moment you look straight down you can right click and you now have access to five more slots for your pocket to hold some goodies in look at that fantastic and then you can just keep moving down moving around left and right and then look down there's your pocket okay no problem I'll need some from your pocket okay no problem this is actually a really cool enchantment I don't know how we never came across this before but finally it'll give you a reason to use leather as an alternative it's not too strong it isn't lasts too long very little protection but hey you just store five extra items on you at any time it's a worthwhile trade-off plus everybody loves pockets except people have yoga pants number eight giant mob bosses yes giant versions of mobs that rarely spawn in now if you weren't aware we do have a couple mobs that were already familiar with that have been in game at one point in another this one is a giant zombie we went ahead and gave the giant it's AI back so that I could actually fight us right now and so as you can see he's mad and he's trying to get it mmm not today honey you don't that shield you did so I think it'd be a fantastic idea if the zombie the giant zombie specifically had some kind of special ability power and namely when you kill it maybe it drops some kind of special item giants necklace or whatever it might be but it doesn't end there we need giant phantoms in game as well and boy that guy's strong oh my gosh hey stay away from me okay well he's got a lot he does a lot of damage but he doesn't have too much health that was insane he almost got me so quickly and boy you could hit this thing pretty easy but giant phantom maybe it drops 10 membrane maybe it drops something else that'd be great and then naturally guying got a happy giant slime holy moly I don't know buddy got a chance at it oh boy look at him look at him on the move the biggest you know wow did you see that jump he just cleared like 30 blocks okay let's cut you down to size a little bit huh buddy hey get it naturally when you kill a giant slime it will turn into more slimes and even these ones that have been split up are still enormous compared to normal slimes in fact I think that this is the biggest slime you can get in game naturally so uh huh I'm curious to see how my hit me it's always lie blocks imagine taking on that slime boss look how many still pretty decent sized slime we've gone from this now they're the little babies and so maybe this drops some kind of very special ultra sticky slime that you can use for superb piston creations you know the ideas are there endless really yeah as are the slime moving on number 9 hook shot slash grappling hook the hook shot can be used to pull entities towards you here's an example of but we didn't make the rest before we just want this to be added in game but you can use it for a few different things you can use it to pull nearby entities closer and the moment you latch them they'll instantly come nearby you can use it to grab nearby items as well and they will appear instantly in your inventory just like that fantast you could even get some decent aim going off with it as well don't mind if I do thank you so much thank you come on over Betsy beautiful but more importantly you can also pull yourself towards oak fences but it may take a few shots so as an example check this guy out right you got to get the perfect there it is you see it does take a few tries again we made this so it's not gonna be the full-blown code we all wish it could be but imagine having this in game a nice balanced way for you to use oak fences and a grappling hook to get to places you might not normally be able to like look we want to get over this pen no problem you just got to line it up perfectly look at that and we are does have durability as you can see down here so you won't have the hook shot forever but it would prove useful in a lot of situations number-10 useful parents now you contain parents right now they take seeds to tame and they kind of act as an alarm system letting you know what mom's nearby but they're not too useful well with this update while sitting every 40 seconds a tamed parrot will collect seeds for you golden seeds in particular so why don't we spawn in a parrot friend feed him up he loves me yes yes Pat it good no I don't want you to know you you sit okay so we're let him sit and a little bit he's gonna have something nice for us and would you look at that rare golden seeds don't mind if I do buddy we've got some golden wheat seeds right here and we can use them to plant some golden wheat here's everything we need right here some golden wheat seeds next to some regular ones you can grow that up and it will take a little bit more bone meal than normal to grow but once you do you'll have some extremely rare gold and wheat and so what can you use this wheat for well mainly to get back some of your golden seeds but more importantly you can use this golden wheat to make some gold and bread Bob um yeah it's probably pretty difficult to chew but you'll want to attempt you either way because as you can see right our hunger is starting to drastically decrease well what golden bread does is it heals your entire hunger bar one full hunger bar just like that y'all ready eat up baby lookin good down there and all the while a boy over here mr. Bertie collected three more wheat seeds for us good stuff finally I might actually use parrots plus frankly the stuff looks beautiful like I'm sold number eleven more curses specifically the curse of worthiness I'm sure this enchantment cannot be picked up unless you complete some sort of task here's an example this diamond sword has sharpness 10 but the curse of worthiness um if we were to try and put this in our hot bar you'd notice that it disappeared essentially right away well that's because every time we get close to it it will move away from us look at this it's kind of embarrassing I have to like chase it down it doesn't want to get my Abarth come on so then how do you get it well in this case you have to share twenty sheep and there's a way for the sword to determine that you've done just that and so let's get busy we've got twenty sheep that we've spawned in in here and once we hit all 20 of them we should be worthy now I don't know what a sword needs us to shear sheep for but hey I don't ask questions oh boy well at this point they've started eating grass so we definitely have sheared more than twenty sheep so let's go claim our reward and as you can see we're now able to pick it up because we're worthy and now huh we'll use it only sheep yeah pretty good stuff if you know survivors number 12 more golems that's right you know and love the iron golem you've seen it all before oh I'll turn around Goldman anyways this is the iron golem to be nice if there were more these guys will protect your villages you can use them for iron farm you can do a lot with your golem buddies they even make for some serious contenders I mean this guy just wants to give me a hug but as you can see here we have a whole lot of health on this guy remember this sort of sharpen is dead on it well my friends behind each of these three doors are a different type of olá we start with the stone golem inside we go for stone blocks like this plop it on on now hello there mr. stone gone now the idea is if we had more stone golems maybe each goal and would have a slightly different power obviously the stone golem is fairly cheap so you wouldn't want him to be too remarkably strong maybe he has I don't know 20 hearts like a regular zombie the slight damage to any nearby people maybe he dropped stone on death or cobblestone you know hard to tell don't worry man I'll spare you the trouble however we do have more options oh you know like y'all ready can we just look oh my gosh it looks like you've been dipped in butter drenching down with the pesto sauce oh man I'm hungry I just got back from lunch the gold Gollum well the idea of the gold golem is that maybe the gold golem would have some kind of regen effect so that I could slowly heal itself as it did damage to any incoming mobs you know golden apples they heal you bunch of hearts golden carrots they hear you bunch of food it would make sense if the gold guy had some eeling attached to him but now we have the diamond golem hey stick a pumping on one of these puppies check you out oh my goodness now this golem is essentially covered entirely in diamond blocks and diamond gear like he's pretty much got on a full set of diamonds you know what I'm talking about so he should have a lot of resistance he should basically be unkillable he should have so many hearts that you don't even have to worry about it and maybe he's so rough and tough and thick huh bet he does more damage as well I mean it costs 4 diamond blocks to make one of these things he better be resilient number 13 this one's fun in I of ender ah as you know Enderman drop ender pearls but not all the time and they're kind of rare so you like your ender pearls well when holding an ender rod the Enderman will always drop an ender pearl on death and this is a nice simple recipe it made me maybe a little too simple I don't know is it Opie you can let us know but there's your eye of ender ah and it looks pretty cool too all you need to do is hold this thing in your Mane or off hand and upon killing an Enderman well check it out people drop the ender pearl every single time hahaha all the pearls Oh how'd I miss you so yeah it's pretty useful number 14 the Marauder illa jerk a brand new illa jerk let's summon them in look it up oh my gosh I love the Marauder you just sit on the surface of the sea lying in wine lying in wait for an unsuspecting player to come across them they have a special shark atop yeah we're gonna hang out in creative mode they've got a special shark attack and drop the special totem of Krakens which does damage on right-click underwater and this is what it looks like totem of kraken alert nice cow spawn eggs interesting I don't know what you have it to do with anything Betsy but you know oh no no don't worry I got this one so here's the Marauder interesting I like your hat he's got a cool hat now he's gonna die he drops the totalling Krakens the totem of uncracked I said anyway the oceans need more life on them especially on the surface of them it would be amazing to find bad guys that are hanging out in boats on the water in the ocean nearby and look at this look at the totem of a look at the totem of Krakens amazing yo Wow love this yo this is cool yeah you can die I'm gonna keep using this is exciting looking can we just look this little Craig that's a cool item and our final must-have or must need or whatever I titled this video for today are the nether conduits the nether conduit is similar to a normal conduit you know what that is it came out in 1.13 it allows you to mine faster underwater breathe underwater and keep you safe from mobs all underwater but this one's for the nether gives you fire resistance increases your mining speed and it damages hostile mobs nearby and it will also protect you from gasps fireballs and will calm zombie Pigman down so we all have to show off to you guys right now first of all let's show you what it looks like right here it's so we know work in progress sector but check out this mining speed look at this this is a regular diamond pickaxe know what it's on this thing nothing we're going crazy with this pickaxe right now look at this what's up pig oh well okay I have a really strong story hey what's up oh okay I'm really strong run flesh here let's use what I hear son see look at this nothing nothing doesn't even care does nothing to me that's the power of the conduit yeah you want to see something else okay Gast was good gas you want to attack me well can't do not bend Sabri we will try to get oh you can't do not bad what are you the worst guy you can't do anything right check out the blazes none of them can really do anything to you because you've got fire resistance you've got fire bar resistance you've got the whole nine yards and if they happen to be really close to the conduit they'll actually just begin to start taking damage so you'll want to watch out you have any of these creatures yeah yeah yeah exactly this is I'm talking about a fire will still spawn in but you got fire resistant so it is a particularly matter you need one of these for your nether worlds but hey my friends those are 15
