We added 10 Updates to the VOID in Minecraft

welcome to the void dimensions but more on this place in a second about six months ago we cover 25 hypothetical updates to the end complete with new biomes new rewards and new problems but today we explore what lies below deep inside the void the underbelly of Minecraft has been given a serious makeover featuring its own unique set of items challenges and upgrades for your survival world from corrupted beacon quarries that can break holes in bedrock to unique tomes to enchant your gear width from new biomes to discover to the dangerous new mobs that preside there there's a lot to cover so we hope you'll let us know which of these ten special void updates you like best in the comments section below it all starts with the void found in the end dimension number 1 is an end void revamp as you can see we're here in the end but the end no longer has a void below it it's just real high up in the sky the real void is below bedrock in the overworld which means that if you now fall off the edge of the end when you have this update added to your world you will literally drop back down to earth and sometimes you'll make the fall sometimes you won't the specific location of the end dimension in Minecraft is somewhat obscure which means that every time you fall you'll actually end up somewhere different in the overworld this time oh can we make it ah survived and that's great news for anyone battling the ender dragon because now if you fall out at the end you have a chance to survive the fall so to get to the real void will need update number 2 corrupted beacons these will also be a way to save yourself from falling off of the N dimension islands because having a beacon in your inventory when falling off the side of the end dimension Islands will turn it into a corrupted beacon and will also save your life working similarly to a totem of undying however what you'll find is that when falling off of the edge you'll only actually keep about half of the items that you originally had you get shot back up and your beacon has turned into a corrupted beacon but if we were to look at our inventory here you'd notice that a bunch of the items are now gone but hey this corrupted beacon is awesome and it's got some serious use in the overworld more importantly we need it in order to enter the void dimension before we set it off we'll need to set up some gear on our body so that we don't completely died upon explosion yes there's explosions now you probably already know how to build a regular beacon system with a light that shines straight up into the sky but now it's come time to reverse that process we've set up some upside-down nether right blocks it has to be nether right we replace our upside-down corrupted beacon on the bottom of this from there it's time to step back because this guy is about to blow don't blink it's gonna get real nasty real soon and as we look down we can actually see a series of explosions occurring let's see that again no messing around here if you get too close you will literally be blown up by the blast but get a closer look at what happens after because these explosions are no joke all the way down destroying everything in their path until you hit the bottommost area and so what lies at the bottom of this new hole well it's a crack in the bedrock and if you're able to safely make it all the way to the bottom of this area without losing any more damage than you need to will you'll have access to the void dimension stepping on top of this crack bedrock will take you there instantly and just like that we've joined a new world advancement made the end yeah doesn't seem like it where are we exactly well this is the void to mention the void is a randomly generated island containing new biomes ores structures mobs plants loot and more now due to the low gravity down in this dimension you can also jump higher and you'll slowly float back down it's time for us to explore well I I mean if we can make this just barely we start with update number three no lore these special glowing ores drop something very unique what mind now know or can be found anywhere underneath the surface of the void but can be found best while in the void planes the current biome that were in due to the stalagmites like structures forming here science and while they're great for decoration they're even better to mine because my and then we'll get you something unique it's a new drop known as no fragments these no fragments can be used to revert the death of the last mob you killed such as over here we've got a couple experiment mobs sorry mister sheep we start with you today right-clicking the null fragments brings us another one of those sheep instantly brought back to life you want to go next buddy oh it looks away right yeah alternatively you can use it to create clones of your pets so we've got a wolf right here we're gonna go ahead tame them make sure that he's ours hey buddy you're gonna have a new friend real soon what do I mean exactly well we can kill our dog and while that's sad we can use the fragments to bring that dog back to life instantly and then we can use even more fragments to bring them back again we've essentially cloned our two pets Oh best friends here you go guys sorry about that whole death thing and you know killing you before plus fragments will also be used in recipes that we look at later on for now we move to update for haunted Paris yes these parents won't attack as long as you keep away but if you step within a certain block radius of these parents they will shoot bullets at you here are the parents in nature this one has locked on and if we get hit by that special particle beam well we will take some damage it's not entirely accurate but getting too close will guarantee in all likelihood that you get hit that much more often I see mean god it goes parrots indeed now you can not take them out under normal circumstances the only way to defeat these parrots is going to be with a shield so if you don't have one of those you may want to actually end up running or hiding otherwise they will not let up off of you now if you do have a shield though you can take advantage of the shields reflective properties to literally shoot the beam back at the parent which can defeat it you have about a 30% chance of reflecting this beam back at the parrot and the pain itself has a chance at dropping a special new item once you've managed to get that item you'll be greeted with a brand new way of enchanting your items avoided items so if you could just you know drop the you know mister pair that'd be awesome kid night this item is known as just got it the mining void book more on this one in a little bit for now we look at a bonus update a withering biome home to a new type of tree that you'll be able to harvest in game this special new log is known as pale oak and you can craft it into a multitude of different types of wood stairs fence gates planks pressure plates the works it's also home to a new structure which we'll get to in a moment for now get a lot of these guys they're known as echo soldiers echo soldiers are update number five and you can find them inside of the structures that are located inside of the withering bio now at first glance these creatures appear to just be statue structures of some sort in fact if you look a little closely they kind of look like me locked out zip but don't get too close because if you do they can come to life and will actually be capable of attacking you but only when you're not paying any attention to them the moment we look away they will oh boy oh my gosh okay oh right now again they'll only move when you're looking away except when they're using their surprise attacks so if you are a nice and prompt you can actually take them out before anything terrible happens that would be my guess we're dealing some slight oh maybe not yeah I'm gonna go ahead and just take you out while you're looking at me nice and easy and they'll actually drop special new tomes as well the armored void book just keep in mind they're quick to engage with you if you happen to get a little too close to them alright with the parents and everything's attacking me all the same times the worst day of my life please bear it don't attack me anymore I'm just trying to get some books baby some light reading for our time oh I don't have a shield on me oh wait it's right here okay mr. Perret where'd you go anyways these soldiers can be difficult to defeat but if you can you'll be getting these armored void books that I was telling you about a little bit ago but anyways number six is the withering tombs our next update despite its mansion view outside this creepy build actually leads to underground pathways which Lee two great treasures we're gonna set our spawn point right here now to prevent you from getting the treasure there are several traps that are located within this mansion as well as soldiers cobwebs Knoll or traps lava poison false pathways etc oh boy good luck indeed yes instantly we are greeted by these nasty nasty Oh I gotta get rid of them ASAP okay anyways we're inside the mansion doesn't really look too homely if you ask me and it does appear as though they are laden with traps all over the place so we'll want to be very careful when attempting to navigate this area because who knows what could come and strike us literally out of nowhere so I have to try and be really careful you see oh boy uh-huh I rest my case instant lava trap yeah I'm good oh and I gotta deal with these guys not today let me out we're gonna go up the other way instead okay I think I saw another path down this way yeah that seems a little bit better oh okay through we get to the other side but be very careful because lava could strike and hit you if you are not extremely cautious when making jumps within this mansion either way though you might be able to get your hands on oh boy not what I had in mind no Lord traps ya causing lots of problems for me why don't we just carry on hopefully this all leads to somewhere nice and easy for us oh stop anyways make it through and you'll deal with some ooh poison traps not what I had in mind you made it but in the treasure room you could loot new void chests these special new chests act as a loot box of sorts allow me to explain opening one you'll be met with a special new menu type constant shifting items that you have a chance at clicking on in order to collect in this case we got a log dodge zip head we got ourselves a sword with looting and sharpness and we got a substitute chanted crossbow the moment you take your third reward the chest will literally disappear and you will not be able to get any more loot from it but hey you got a pretty good steal another crossbow we got ourselves an iron shovel and hey we even got ourselves a couple other items on that one from time to time you'll have a chance to reroll at the items in question so that you can get something even better with proper movement alright final chest right here let's see what we get from it ooh 64 lapis another player head oh my gosh and another golden pickaxe hey I've never been so upset to see three log that zip heads just hanging out but hey actually don't have anything funny to say overall a pretty decent haul if you ask me now we'll make our way to the top and right now is as good a chance as ever to really catch everything there is about this special type of biome because hey shout out to the guinea pig for building the mansion found within this biome and shouts out to blue in general for making sure that we get speed boosts at the perfect moment so that we can get to this next part of the showcase you'll bleed it great with this dimension by the way number 7 update void binder the void binder is a block used to combine your void books you know these little guys we got earlier in order to add them to your gear now this is an uncrackable block the only way that you can do this is by locating the hole with a void binder inside of it but there's only one of these per world and this is what it looks like right here the void binder is the answer to your voiding equipment which you'll need these void books for you can get the armored type from the echo soldiers we saw earlier mining type from hunting haunted parrots and the farming type from a howling mushroom which we haven't gotten to yet but that we will soon enough for now let's go ahead and grab the farming boy book alongside one more armor book as well as a whole bunch of stuff that we want to enchant using this binder once you have found the binder you can go ahead and place in your void book in question as well as the appropriate tool and we now have a Voytek diamond hoe and you can do this across the board with all of your different armor types whether that's leggings chest plates other armor types or even adding some enchantment s' to your pickaxes beautiful and these all have special abilities first off boy to pick axes you can use them to mine rows of oars in a row just like this they are all mine all cable of collecting that ore and what's more you can even use it y'all ready for this to destroy a bedrock behold it instantly breaks the bedrock found right behind in question yes love it you can use Voytek armor to keep nasty dirty mobs from wanting to attack you at all it will essentially freeze them in place if you happen to be wearing a full set of this gear the mobs have no interest in me whatsoever removing a single piece of this armor will cause them to change their mind so you might want to put that on ASAP the moment you do they're back to being frozen and Rudeboy to Co will allow you to turn any block into farmland yes indeed we are going to plant melons and pumpkins on top of a bedrock on top of diamond blocks on top of essentially anything it is that we want to take care of and just like that plant plant plant away literally planting inside of bedrock fantastic yes my children grow grow grow legit planting inside of da it's just hilarious to be honest boy deputy braid is the howling mushroom biome a brand new biome type you can find in this dimension this is grassy avoid stone it is making up the surface of this biome and it's pretty awesome-looking if you ask me this is the most biodiverse biome and it supports actual life found within here's an example a large mushroom right here they will spot in and they will explode with poison if anything touches them as you can see right there we got poison and it's lame worst day of my life now you can see here that it's opened up and spread its spores no longer dealing any damage until it heals itself and is capable of doing the same once again the fact that they reach in though allows you to cultivate them and use them for experience farms so what we have right here are a whole bunch of chickens getting poisoned and killed essentially instantly by this device saddest story really hahaha what's good babies go ahead and get poisoned on I think most of chickens died because of the mob cramming but the idea here is that all you need to do is attack one of them and they will all go look at that sweet sweet experience there are also red mushrooms however these rare red ones can kill the mobs as well instead of poison it provides a either effect to anyone caught within its spores now if you wanted to save these poor little mushrooms from this drastic life that they are now living you can actually give them a special potion a lingering potion of regeneration thrown near by one of these mushrooms will actually cause it to with time slowly revert back into an adorable low-key red mushrooms and you have a chance of getting a book as well these parents need to leave me alone dude a big nine the Voytek infuser remember those no fragments from before we've got them on hand right now we're gonna need them because we're gonna craft this Voytek infuser the parents find a crafting table grab eight bedrock from the void a pickaxe you made place them like this with some null fragments in the center to get a Voytek infuser block this is an excellent block and has some cool purpose you can use it to combine bedrock with any other block in Minecraft to make it indestructible well to anyone except yourself allow me to show you entering this menu placing a single bedrock in here alongside any block of your choice will instantly turn oak planks into infused oak planks and again you can use any block you want diamond blocks grass even some of the new blocks found within this biome all combined together with nether right and bedrock you can use infused blocks to make impermeable types of blocks that are immune to all sorts of things whether it's creeper explosions TNT explosions fire heck you could even go into creative mode try and break this not gonna happen in fact only in survival mode will you be able to reblock sin order to claim it once again when you do break the block it will lose its infuse status but you will get it back as you can see it's stacks and our final update number 10 void rifts they look like large termite mounds and are found all over the three new void biomes inside though you'll find some orange dust that when touched it will connect you to another random rift in the void you can use these for fast transportation alternatively you can grab the rift in a glass bottle and so that you can use that to escape the void at a moment's notice so let's grab a glass bottle well first jump into this void and you can see that is gonna teleport us right away check this out we are instantly being teleported around into numerous different locations oh man what is happening until eventually you stop moving and you're now in a completely new spot throwing set glass bottle right on top though will collect that into a bottle which you can drink the riftwalk juice let's propel you back into the air and take you back to the overworld from whence you came not bad ah if only such a place existed in Minecraft guys I mean it technically does you can let us know in the comments below which of these void updates was your
