Top Baldur's Gate 3 Mods Vol. 2 | BG3 Modding

let's talk Baldur's Gate 3 modding a specifically Volume 2 of my top mods if you haven't seen the first installment of this series I'll leave it linked in the description I'll also put a link to my how to install mods via Vortex guide in case you need any help installing them and before we get started I wanted to mention that there's currently a lot of talk right now surrounding the mod a Baldur's Gate 3 mod fixer sorry do you need it do you not need it I'd honestly tell you to go read the comment section of the currently available mod fixer to see what the latest information for it is as of making this video it's still a little divided with a heavy lean on you still might need the mod fixer but it really depends on the mods you're running and their dependencies and now on to the mods first up is the ever popular wasd character movement mod I finally installed it after patch 1 as I wanted to see how major patches worked with the game before installing what I deem as bigger mods and oh my gosh is this one beautifully done you can now control your character movement through the was and D keys with this mod just like you would in most live action games the best part is you can still click to move like normal so depending on your mood you can use whichever method you want to control your character this mod does require native mod loader and the description page beautifully explains how to install that and the mod itself either manually or through Vortex so please read through the description carefully if you do decide to install this mod better containers literally makes containers better the default size of the container grid has been increased there's a space now on the upper right side to make it very easy to grab and to drag the container around your screen and the Sorting options button has been removed so you don't have to go through the two-step process to sort your inventory it's preset to bring you right to the Sorting menu itself and its default set is to type which makes it a pleasure to go through containers or sort your inventory at camp in the camp chest I'm also very happy to say that this is compatible with bags bags bags which was featured in my first video so you can have the best of both worlds with this mod it wouldn't be one of my top mod videos if I didn't have at least one cc mod and today's is de-accessorized NPC hairstyles there are two NPC hairstyles that have been included and fit every race and body type except for the Dragonborn so you can use these two super long hair options on a variety of characters we're currently using one of them on a stream character and I can't lie I'm a little obsessed with it I am a dice Goblin in this game if you've caught me on stream you'll have seen how many dice I've tried out but the next three mods would have to be my favorite dice mods to date these all require you to have improved UI if you want multiple dice mods installed at once like I have that mod was also featured in my last top mods vid so if you want to learn more about it make sure to check that out the first dice I have for you is Arcane die set this honestly gives me Wizard and serious magic Vibes if it was an IRL dice that you'd almost expect it to feel heavier and belong in a display case in a library and with the gold flecks in the dice when it rolls it looks extra magicy or like stars rolling around it's absolutely beautiful and if you're looking for a die set for your Wizard or sork you definitely need to check this dice out astral sea die set has been my favorite since I got it I can't stop switching back to it seriously it really does remind me of the astral plane and all things Whimsical I like that the various sides of the dice have different tones to it and when it rolls they all meld together beautifully if you're a fan of the astral plane or just space in general this is a fantastic one to get the last dice mod is the etherite crystal dice mod and is a Final Fantasy 14 inspired one this dice mod is a hand drawn and the font is a little like the teeniest bit different from the base game dice which makes it feel a little extra special I'm obsessed with the color scheme for it as well it gives me that high-end classic clean vibe that honestly would fit any character or moment in the game if you want something that's just straight up beautiful and ethereal looking you've got to check this one out next up is purchasable Camp clothes and underwear it's literally 100 what it sounds like you can purchase in-game Camp clothes at a vendor in Act 2 and act one so you can have access to them whenever you want without having to hope to get lucky in a container you can tack on the underwear add-on as well if you'd like to the best part is it's divided into two download options either the main version that provides up to mid-tier Camp close or another version that includes everything which has more of the fancier options that you'd find closer to end game the underwear is also a separate add-on that you can install to either option literally you and your companions can go live your best Camp lifestyle whenever you want now which leads me to what arguably is my favorite mod in this video maybe of all time but definitely in this video ether's black dye it's a full black dye module so you can literally dye any dyeable clothing all black the best part is this one has unlimited use so you just buy it once or pick it up in the tutorial potions chest near Shadow heart on the nautiloid ship and you can then proceed to die any and all things that you want completely black better character and party panels is fantastic it improves the character and party panel sheets to make them easier to read and use now you can see your character or other characters fully without the overlap of the information at the bottom kind of coming up over their feet I also really like that the slot backgrounds aren't invisible anymore making it really easy to slot in items the font size has been slightly adjusted so you don't have to worry about scrolling on most information screens allowing an easier time to sort through information quickly and allowing you to not accidentally miss something if you're looking for a slightly cleaner and easier to use character and party panel experience this is a great mod to get and last but not least is a super important mod for me ether's immersive UI I am personally allergic to you eyes I'd rather next to nothing on my screen as I just want to soak in the game itself and not all the other things and this UI does it a few important things to note this is compatible with improved UI minus a few modules so please read the mod description carefully as it explains it the mod can be downloaded as an all-in-one or as individual mods for each of the parts that were edited so are there options to make the action bar contextual so it only pops up when you need it to the same with the minimap party portrait and combat log button on the right hand side it also edits the dialog buttons so several of the buttons only show on Hover when you're in a conversation and the attack and trade options have been stacked neatly away to the side so they always show when appropriate but they're out of the way making them very easy to ignore I'm personally using the combat log dial log buttons and action bar options as I feel that that gives me the cleanest and most functional options for my play style also for transparency my mini map is from the improved UI mod as the smaller mini map optional download I personally prefer a smaller mini map than a contextual one and there you have it my second volume of my top bg3 mods I hope you found something in here to add either into your
