Top Baldur's Gate 3 Mods Vol. 1 | BG3 Modding

Welcome to My Favorite Baldur's Gate 3 mods volume 1. I say volume 1 because I'm sure this list will be updated a fair few times over the course of playing and modding bg3 before we get started please note that I'm not using any mods that add classes or overly adjust Powers currently as I don't want to mess with anything like that as the game is still being actively patched also most mods right now are a once they're in the save file they're in the save file and you can't uninstall them during a playthrough so please bear that in mind as you mod this game if you need any help with installing bg3 mods check out my how-to guide which is linked in the description it's also important to note that I'm not listing a full release a mod fixer as a top mod however think of it as a utility mod that needs to always be installed as most mods currently require it first up is a mod that's been a favorite of mine since early access a basket full of equipment it comes in a not safer work and a safer work version I personally am using the safer work because of stream and YouTube this mod comes with a variety of armors gloves boots even weapons there's also a set of non-visible jewelry that has some fun spells including a cleanse everyone that allows you to clean the blood off of yourself and companions for that clean and fresh look all the time you can find the basket full of everything on the nautiloid right where you wake up or on the ravaged Beach right near the crashed ship also the amulet is for sale from the trainer at the Druid Grove you can also snag the summoning amulet for it from either the tutorial potions chest which is past Shadow heart and any of the baskets that you find full of the equipment also will have a copy of the amulet in them it's all very very nicely organized and there are a lot of options so it's easy to find what you need and to mix and match along the way I cannot recommend this mod enough for both you and your companions bags bags bags is literally what it sounds like a bunch of bags for easy storage and organization my inventory and Camp chess were both getting a little messy this mod made it easy to organize literally my entire in-game life and it all looks so neat and tidy now I'm personally using a set for both the inventory and my Camp storage so both are easy to sift through now you can find the bags either on the ship in the tutorial potions chest by shadowheart or you can buy it from the trader at the Druid Grove Dave's hair salon has also been a huge favorite of mine since early access all of the hairstyles are so well done and fit a variety of characters and that there's bound to be something for everyone these aren't hair replacer Styles so it won't touch anything vanilla or NPC based which is absolutely perfect I'd also highly suggest reading through the mod description page as it does list out what races and body types have hairstyles currently available improved UI is a mod that I got because it's required by Taves hair salon but honestly I'd install it even without that requirement it currently has a main mod and then modular Options under the optional files I personally have improved UI dialog option which hides the icons in the bottom left corner when talking to people when there isn't like an attack or trade option the nice part about this is that you can easily hover over that general area and have the icons pop back up so you can use them if needed I also have the smaller mini map as I'm personally not a fan of big uis and also the show all items option which makes the show items key a toggle instead of a hold which honestly just makes my life so much easier there are a few other modular options available as well that you can add in if you'd like to Honey's odds and ends a rose tattoo fix is a must-have for me as it fixes the rose neck tattoo in game it's my favorite tattoo and thanks to this mod it looks just so much better as it goes up the neck perfectly now a must-have if you also enjoy using this tattoo the mod page itself though does have a few other mods available that I'm currently not using but I would highly suggest looking through to see if there's anything else you might like for face presets I am also using the a new character creation presets work in progress mod this mod doesn't remove or replace any NPC faces or vanilla faces it just adds to the CC I cannot suggest this enough if you're someone who would like a few more options especially for tieflings humans and elves drows honestly I also really like the gnome face that was added modular equipment is such a fun armor mod there are so so many options and it also has options for Camp clothing which is my personal favorite the mod author States it was created with a Bard in mind but really I'm obsessed with this for all of my characters I'm personally using this mod for the jewelry options and the camp clothing slash underwear and then the basket full of equipment for my out and about armor you can find the armor for this mod on the nautiloid ship in the tutorial potions chest just past Shadow heart if you're past that point the mod author has listed a different mod that you can get in order to summon that chest to you so then you can loot it and get everything lastly is a mod that I personally haven't had to use yet but I do know a lot of people have had great luck with it it's called a fixed stuck learning main menu if you're getting stuck at 100 loading on the main menu and you can't get into the game itself this mod might solve your problem for you highly suggest checking it out if you are running into this issue
