This horror game looks better than real life

good morning dear ladies my name is Jacksepticeye and welcome to the back room's lost tape but once it's been the back rooms thing and this one looks very Primo the graphics in this look nuts it looks exactly like real life I've seen screenshots of this and I thought the back rooms are are real I'd be like he literally in the back rooms right now I don't know what I'm talking about I'm gonna play the tape of Josh apparently who's Josh why should I care about him are we okay we're playing sorry whoa all right hey boss as you can see the um the people were able to clean up the place and I was able to help really um really good uh that one spot that was really bad um that may be an exception but uh everything else is clean um as you can see right here I'll be moving around here a little bit to show you and uh yeah it's pretty good um but I'll go to room one soon just wanted to let you know that looks better than clean it looks brand new [Applause] God damn that looks good oh down you go haven't you seen cane pixels found footage thing yet you got to be careful all right hello anyone here hello what would be my actual first reaction to this in real life if I knew nothing about the back rooms what would I think but I think that I died already probably Solitude is one of the greatest obstacles a Wanderer can face it is something beyond our control something that eats away at us little by little killing the unwary before they even realize it it is I dare say our deepest fear this is why it should not come as a surprise that this cursed place we know we now call home has found a way to take advantage of Humanity's inherent need for companionship okay is anyone here cue to shout finally a game that listens to me I'm going to use the notepad to make some annotations of some possible clues about how to escape from this place yeah good luck buddy I I doubt you're going to get anything out of this yeah write down some notes what did you find out looking through a gap in the wall nothing this is very uh well made though like that head Bob is very accurate as someone who owns a camera I think the secret to not falling into the back rooms is to just not go around with a camera in your hand everyone that seems to fall through has a camera in their hand something on the floor over here hello now I don't have to say it as the YouTuber oh it's always Dominicans why always with the mannequins why look they're scary we all agree they push you can I hold you can I oh look at that cake y'all don't beat up in the back rooms what if we made out by the mannequin in the back rooms three is the third am I trying to find a code or something well that's easy to remember three is three I always also think that I would be sprinting like crazy through the bathrooms oh that's cool looking what if I myself in the back rooms What's it gonna do then what if all the monsters that are in here are just grossed out by me and want me to leave become the monster isn't that the running theory for the back rooms that the people who get lost here are last year for so long that they start laughing into like Monsters hello pizza delivery oh progress is being made who's in here first aid kit yes take that emergency heal oh that's cool ah a little hole for a little man that's me man I love Unreal Engine I just love the way it looks we're good we're fine we're solid how is anything going to find me and kill me when I don't even know where I am oh dude are those shrooms I mean if you're stuck in the back rooms you might as well do shrooms wait I want to see what they actually are is it mushrooms whoa that's so cool looking I don't know why I just like how it looks approved Personnel protective equipment must be worn alrighty I saw this door open one time when the lights were red this is an entry point for like I haven't kept up with backroom stuff there's a strange humidity in this place and the carpet is wet in this part it seems to come from this white area which gave rise to these mushrooms I was very hungry so I ate one of them now my body won't stop itching and I have so many bruises even on my head so don't eat the shrooms got it I mean it makes sense but if you were hungry and lost and scared and alone I didn't say I mean let's face it I would just eat them anyway whoa oh this is really selling the sense of space isn't it it's huge anyone here [Applause] all right we're gonna get it anyone here come on hi say it do the line Bart can someone that's not the line come on here is anyone here nailed in um I don't think so okay there's an exit over there but the arrows point to me this way who's putting down the arrows is that somebody that wants to help me oh man who put this fake door here is anyone here who put the store here we'll find your way out buddy do people get out of the back rooms ever in the stories I've seen this before that's fun I um I saw a post I think it was on Reddit where somebody printed out this and put it on like a bus stop or just phone Deja Vu area if this is your first time here if this area feels familiar immediately alert Foundation staff if you see something say something SCP is anyone here now it's the only line he's doing whoa this is oh this is so weird that was cool that like recursion in the walls oh dude get on this play around we're gonna be stuck here and die you might as well have fun they're just like roll it around like a skateboard you know what this is this is when you um go to a store and say can you just check in the back to see if you guys have any more back there it's like yeah I'll go check no I I checked we don't have any knowing full well that you haven't had any the entire time Justice isn't going too well for you buddy oh now it is progress this feels a lot like the [Music] um oh yeah baby I know this asset this is on the Unreal Engine Marketplace isn't it I use stuff like this for the iris um for the Irish stream that we did for the interactive game version of it there was assets exactly like this on the marketplace cool looking though oh a note the password to access the this computer is scattered all around this place I was able to find the first number which is nine I hope this helps you if I can't escape this place so I have nine something three something if it's four numbers that is whoa my name is Jennifer scientist and Lead researcher at sdp I'm recording this message to record the success and the task of shutting down the generator at this location allowing that metal door to open the problem is apparently this brought something from another dimension I created a passport so that the generator doesn't turn off by accident when deciding to enter the password to be able to access another dimension or whatever it is be prepared to run for your life oh was is that my brain or the camera freaking out okay I'm I'm so gonna get lost trying to find this place again I'm Gonna Leave to look for passwords and I'm not going to be able to find my way back unless this somehow changed wait so but back rooms isn't SCP is it now we've seen the SCP poster she said she worked for SCP I thought back rooms does its own thing okay nothing down here goody goody goody gum drops I guess those arrows does point to that room then so if I do search around and get lost then I can just follow the arrows to get back here don't worry guys I'll mess it up what am I well I'm a prophet and I foresee a new world will you be part of it dude who are you talking to I know me but I just got here have I been here look I'm bad with directions when it comes to being stuck inside a liminal space forgive me for not knowing the lay of this recurring land keep looking around there's notes somewhere eventually somewhere okay these I'm an astronaut good for you I honestly don't know how I got here I just remember that my spaceship malfunctioned and I had to get out of it to fix it unfortunately my safety equipment broke and I thought I was already dead I wandered in space for a few hours when suddenly I fell as if gravity had suddenly returned and here I am in this gigantic place that seems infinite where'd you get the paper oh wait didn't we get another note that said six was one of the numbers oh I didn't see from the start of the video Dang it anyway I'm leaving this letter in case anyone else Falls here or is already here and can find me in case I'm still alive important I found some letters from other people which mention other levels uh of this play some say they already had passed through specific floors for example this one is apparently called level Zero from what I read in the other letters and then over here will be difficult there's nine something why you give me the first number again I already got that one nine something three it was here that number six I remember thinking that the six in it I was like that's kind of weird that that's written there and it looks like it swears and then it says six and I think it was a bunch of them then six then one God it's gonna take me forever to figure this out and I don't have safety glasses whoa that is so freaky looking they really nailed this Style oh that one chair is knocked over what does it mean could mean anything 983 okay I don't understand why they don't just leave the entire password on a single note that's what I'm saying I think no one has discovered it yet or maybe whoever discovered it died or they got out or maybe we should hide the answer from someone what do I know what I do know is that eight is probably the second number probably I don't want to live and die in the back rooms based on a probably I'm gonna need concrete proof should I start writing this down I feel like I should hold on hold on there's a pen here somewhere um what was it 983 and then blank blank blank one of those is a six at least I think it is I can't remember a lot of you can go back and Rewind the video and like scrub back to the start of it and see what it is I can't do that not unless I stopped the recording but I'm not going to do that either okay that's good we explored this area thank you red lights my legs are getting tired I'm hungry I want to go home I'll figure you out back rooms what I'm doing here is going to be called the rooms I can't remember how I came into this place just walk in a diagonal Beanstalk okay this is I remember this this is where I came in okay but now the problem is did I miss stuff back at the start probably oh I missed this note on the wall five the last number is five we have a five okay if I know if I can just oh Zone B if I can figure out where that six goes I can just guess the other number there's only between zero and nine Maybe this is the bad boy Corner this is where you go when you're in trouble the chairs are dangerous if it could this chair would kill you and your entire family hello I'm lost and scared and a little bit horny oh yes yes yes yes we got some pcbs a hammer a mallet you turn on sick gaming setup bro please be a number ah I'm writing this letter in the hope that it will be found someday Maybe by someone who finds me here or finds this letter I don't know if I'm crazy or if I'm dead but this place doesn't seem to belong in this world I've seen things here that I can't describe I ended up here while doing some graffiti around town and now I'm here with my backpack and my only white spray oh so you're the one leaving them this place is huge so I'm leaving markings on the wall for myself or anyone else who might come down here I've read some letters from other people and it seems that this place has multiple floors there are hostile creatures here too and while I've seen some things I didn't have the courage to approach them I'm trying to figure out how to get out of here and while mark on the walls or update this note when I find it's provided to get lost this place if you find the notes please don't take them so that others could be safe too if there's a big riddle in this place find the nurses that contain some information here I took my computer monitor that was here to the lab since the one in the lab was apparently broken my legs are feet hurt because I walk so much while carrying these things I hope I can finish this because it may be the only way out of this place wait you brought your monitor to the lab but you don't know if your feet hurt yet because you walked there after writing this right did you walk there put down the thing and then come back and write this note I connected the computer to the laboratory module so that I can access the generator but the problem is that is requesting a password I think it will be stuck here forever probably not I mean I've been running around for like a half hour and found 99 of the numbers you can do it I believe in you maybe that's why the place is empty because everyone actually gets out of the back rooms oh this is the start yeah there it is a six a second last I knew my gut instinct right from the beginning so it's 9a3 something six five I mean that's good enough for me unless that's a letter not a number we can detective our way through this right I wonder if I open if I do the thing in the lab and turn on that generator the big like Silo thing in the middle of it I wonder if that turns on the red light at the mushroom door then the chairs are dangerous don't trust them I've never trusted a chair in my life is it listening we're gonna figure this out I'm going straight to the lab I'm just gonna guess my guess is that it's a four I I don't know why it's a four or it's a two I just I feel it in my guts that it's one or the other 983-465 like that has a it has a ring to it I like how that sounds coming out of my mouth also a big implication that the astronaut guy got pulled out of space to be here before it's usually people falling through Earth to get here like no clipping out of reality but the fact that the guy got sucked out of space to be here oh oh my God you scared the out of me so you do have a limit to how much you can Sprint it turns out that that thing is just like six miles I was like I can go for another six right now she said Catch My Breath okay I'm actually starting to remember where I am which is weird I've never had that in any of the back rooms games because usually you just go through it once and then you never turn around and come back uh Knight hold on nine eight three four six five okay um two dang it was neither of them okay it's not a one I'm just gonna go through all of them could be another three nope what if I'm what if I don't have any of them what if this doesn't work it was a seven my favorite number I should have picked that okay am I on like a time limit or anything to the mushroom door I think that's back when I go under the little Gap right yep yep okay there's a thing there [Applause] there's actually bad guy [Applause] just run buddy oh oh oh oh what do we do what do we do what do we do what do we do can I lose it behind me oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God oh my God this is not the way this is not the way to the Mushroom Kingdom that's back here stop I want to turn around and look at it oh I ran out of Sprints oh God it's a weird baby okay okay we just restart here oh my God Jesus don't do that this beat is sick though uh uh uh yeah is that thing back over where I was now I'm scared [Applause] okay I need to remember I need to remember I threw the gap or if I see this place is so big and now I'm under threat so now all thought has gone out my brain mushroom rooms get me out of here yes excellent we did it I'm free mannequin no stop it take a shower ah it's a locker room one could go wrong here hello are you tormented by the horrors of your past as well it's getting cute looking though isn't it look at that Serene scene wouldn't you want to be here chilling out relaxing before a big baby noodle monster gets you beautiful serene this is this is the cam area apparently what's the max capacity in this elevator five people wedged together like sardines oh no a long hallway with fog and pipes it's fine we're fine there's just a a horrific wreaking smell of is that a baby head no it's a football either way I'll kick it this might be the worst area yet is this just gonna go on forever I'm asking you questions you can't answer uh oh guys I found the janitor level in the back rooms that's freaky though I shouldn't have turned around because that almost made me forget which direction I'm going I wonder if that would happen to you in real life that if you spun around really quickly would you get disoriented by which direction you were going this is promising down the dark red hallway oh goody my elevator's back to bring me to a new horrific level of Horror horrific horror good wording me nice one Josh we've made it to the cloud domain Joshi boy we made it to the heaven level take a bath Josh wash off the sins of your past relax this is a lot like that other backrooms game that I played the complex a lot of these areas are starting to or a lot of these games are starting to like use the same types of areas whoa weird whoa like are we actually outside or is that Skye simulated when it comes to the back room's lore here's this looks like it looks like Ray traced Minecraft search up any Ray Trace Minecraft video on YouTube and they all look like this damn that's cool though I stayed in a hotel one time that looked a lot like this oh God it's gonna be horrible to try and find it now it's like a hotel that we stayed at and it looks so creepy it looks exactly like that area I was just in and then at night time when the lights went off or when it got dark and then the lights came on I mean that's what it looked like it was so freaky it felt like I would about to no clip out of reality guys are you a tiny elevator as well ah of course you are take me away please to the the atom level oh we actually are up top can I fall off and die of my own free will be a lot better than running around in this place damn very cool looking though again this is what I mean by Unreal Engine like the lighting and the texture work is so cool in that engine that you can make anything look super realistic is anyone here do you yell and talk to yourself in your dreams a lot because I don't damn this is very pretty back room's game where I'm lost and afraid for my life this would be very peaceful be a nice place to be in I wouldn't worry about it too much or as much like that's so cool looking [Music] I wonder if this is Unreal Engine five not important let's just try and survive and get out of here that that's what I would do in the back rooms in real life be like well the graphics in here are crazy look at those reflections this can't be heaven um how did you write that did you get a spray paint Ken in the back rooms this part of the back rooms is pretty chill I'm not too worried here this is actually kind of nice it just feels like some extremely rich douchebag CEO's house like this is where like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos would live and they would actually install screens all around their house so they could simulate perfect clarity and not have to deal with the outside world of all these angles though is anyone here is there a reason I'm I can yell oh was I oh I was actually able to write oh it's actually a notepad I didn't have to get a note about in real life I could have just wrote nine eight three seven six five that was the code we did it if anyone finds this note know that I didn't myself I actually was a really big Brave boy but my friend Jeff who did himself might try and make it seem like I did it but Jeff loves to lie and he's an I hate I hate him cool it wasn't me it was Jeff my totally real friend who came in here with me Bulls ever fall into the back rooms if a street and somebody Falls in can't both of you fall in I've never seen multiple people fall in oh wait there's that multiplayer backrooms game with the music now it actually really does feel like Minecraft oh oh oh thank God it was about to get bad again nice table what are we looking at clouds as far as the eye can see Madness Hotel sucks there's never anyone around I can't go in the water because I don't have my trunks even if I did have no towel to dry off with the only other thing I saw was a creepy name noodle baby Take Me Away Take Me Above the Clouds I don't want to be here anymore okay this is worse but Mom the back rooms are boring my legs are tired mom that was a quick trip can we go home now Mom someone is DreamWorks or somebody should make a movie about that back rooms baby okay I take it back it was a joke oh cool is this Iowa is this Indianapolis it looks like it you hear that too right [Applause] am I supposed to get these lights very it's a real feeling but it doesn't do anything and then those ones disappear not this maybe there's a sequence to it oh gotcha ah I gotcha are those my footsteps oh my God that really freaked me out put their mind they're just kind of like lagging behind me audibly Oh I thought something was creeping up behind me I hate that feeling let me in the Triangle elevator get me out of here this place is terrible TripAdvisor was so off never mind this place is Chill place is dope bro are we in The Gnome level of the back rooms what is happening ah beautiful Farmland in the north of England guys it's just the norm level we found the gnome level in the back rooms what's happening [Music] why is this in the game [Music] is this do people know about this or people like I can't wait for him to get to The Gnome level hello it's not it's not as weird when you say it now now that we're in Teletubby land [Music] don't like it anymore huh am I supposed to be finding something in these gingerbread houses no foreign did I get paint what did I pick up was it milk or was it calm okay let's logic this out you're scared you're alone you're probably naked and you end up on a gnome Island what do you do I don't know but if a gnome offers you milk in the middle of a house you take it you take that milk and you do something with it wait this is lit up now whoa that's cool looking here oh what'd you do you stop running around and you get in the circus elevator thank God oh I've never been happier to be back in regular back rooms oh you look so good oh you look familiar I never thought I'd miss this until I went to Norm Island okay but what's going on in here okay weird sound what's that it's the mannequin again it's the damn mannequin again no it's balloons it's just balloons guys never mind stop freaking out I thought it was a head I knew it I knew something was gonna pop you can't scare me anymore can't scare me anymore with your stupid balloons what do you think this is a kid's birthday party no let me let me jump let me jump I'm done let me jump I'm over it let me jump down the hole lost you could say that did a playground oh tight a sink a kitchen dude I'm set I don't need to go anywhere anymore this is life now I hope I don't end up in the Puppy Playtime backroom level actually don't don't do anything scary though kick it kick the baby drop kick it kick the child it doesn't deserve it life I mean hanging out in the back room scaring me like that it's the worst creature here why can't I stand up [Applause] gonna break as well a bouncy castle oh I can't go in all right because I got my shoes on oh man as as bad as that game was to play that video was really fun to record I had a blast how are you tired from crawling does that make any sense whoa off we go this is what uh playgrounds look like to kids they think they're huge everything about them is amazing you on the slide for days then you finally hit the bottom and it's like man it's gonna take me all year to get back up there is this like the kindergarten level dude the back rooms is weird now there's so many levels in the backgrounds at this point that it's starting to feel like the back rooms are just a weird version of real life oh oh that's messing with my head already uh you ever get motion sick just running down a hall God I can go cross-eyed yeah oh [Music] that made it all worth it just six G's on on that six most fighter pilots can't even do that whatever it's just back room stuff babe I got something special planned for anniversary tonight we're going to the Mickey Mouse level of the back rooms I know I know you're a big fan I I just wanted to do it for you you know we've been together like eight weeks there he is there's Mickey Mouse [Music] yeah I know they can't really get like the real Mickey Mouse bear because uh the back rooms just can't afford the copyright on Mickey uh but he's about to hit public domain soon so people can do whatever they want with them um but I thought I mean you know and there's Donald never mind it's nothing um what do you want oh I'm not in control anymore huh found in 2035 Josh was not found yet what did I just play that was nuts I I thought something else was gonna happen I didn't realize we're just gonna fall through are we in like the double back rooms now where did I go that was cool I I think it went on a little too long it got a little too weird I like when the back rooms is just it's it's more minimal and it's about the sort of what if nature of the liminal space like that original like yellow walled area and walking through it and seeing everything in there and kind of they're trying to figure out where you are and losing your sense of space and not having any clear Way Forward and the place kind of like shifting around you and you don't know like are the rooms moving or am I just getting lost or that kind of feeling I think is for their true horror of the back room's lies like being in it and not knowing at all how long you've been there I've been here for an hour or like three days type of vibe when it starts getting into the wacky stuff and you're going down elevators and every level like the back rooms just have so many different levels now of what they are I'm not really a big fan of that because then the back rooms just becomes anything then you can just be like oh we've made it to the let's player level of the back rooms you walk into this room and you sit down you do a let's play and I can see to the next level which is oh the Krispy Kreme level at the back rooms you know oh we made it to the underwater level of the back rooms it just it gets it gets less esoteric and it just gets a bit too like normalized um but I will say the first like 90 of this was really really good it wasn't until I got to like the gnome area that I started to kind of like lose interest but everything else was great visually fantastic this is one of the better looking backroom games that's out there and you can tell a lot of crafter and into that um and the music and kind of like setting up the theater area and actually having a story of a guy that fell through it and seeing him fall through I think is cool um I'm just excited to see where the back room stuff goes especially now that Kane got the movie deal God knows and that's actually going to come out hopefully it comes out before we get over saturated with back rooms content and then it's still cool to experience um but other than that I thought it was great I had a good time I had fun recording this video and I hope you had fun watching it as well if you did don't forget to leave a like on the video really helps me out lets the video go
