(piano music) (swooshing) (swooshing) (piano music) (upbeat music) (swooshing) (swooshing) - Yo, yo, yo, guys. What's going on? Everybody does that, you know. People watching this, when I do it, they probably chant with me. It's all right, get back. (laughing) Come back, I need content. All right, you can start this. - Yo yo yo, guys, what is up? Alex Pandrea here. Today is gonna be another awesome-- - You're still Nic. We're not like trading places here. It's not one of those things. In three, two... Hello everybody, welcome back to my channel. We have on this channel one of my favorite creators, Nic Suriano, before anything I'll leave his link down below. Go check him out. He has amazing content. He's actually been helping me film a lot of the stuff, so a lot of the cool intros that you see, that you go, wait, Pandrea filmed that? It looks too good for his stuff. That's done by Nic. Now, exciting news is that Nic is actually joining me along my journey to relaunch the Blue Crown, the company that I started back in 2011. So we're working more and more together, which I'm so excited about 'cause the ideas that we have are killer. - Yeah, I'm excited, it's gonna be crazy. - Can we give a little bit of a hint? Little surprises, little bit of tease? - So we're gonna be doing the (bleep) and also the (bleep) as well, and it's gonna be super, super good. Very exciting. - We'll just leave it at that for now, but they're gonna be the coolest thing. (guys talking over each other) I always say that, hold the deck, hold the next decks. - I've noticed that! You've said that! - Guys! Cause my favorite deck, favorite Noc deck. - So, today we're gonna be (laughing) Are you gonna talk? - I dunno. I've spoken enough. No one wants to hear me anymore. - So, today I'm gonna be teaching you guys a color change. It's something I've been doing for a while now. I'm pretty sure I came up with it, but obviously it's probably been done in some way, shape, or form somewhere else. - I haven't seen it. - Somewhere, yeah. - I haven't seen it. - It's kind of clean, it's very clean in a way. - It's very fooling, because the first time I saw ya actually do it, was on the Flash to Lose video. - Yeah. - Which you did and got a great reaction from everybody. I had thought, you did something totally different, which you didn't. So, I liked it. It's easy. - Yep, super, super easy to do. It's kinda, a little bit in a way, a magician fooler. - And when he's leaving anyway. - Exactly. - So, exciting. Let's get into the move right now! (swooshing) - [Nic] This is what the move looks like. You can take one card and show nothing in the hand. And then you can actually change it just like that. So, obviously, you're placing one on top of the other, so you could just do it double to clean up. But this utilizes the move, kind of that you guys would know it from the Cardini change. So, right here. So, all that's happening, is you show it's just one card, and what's great is the way you're handling it, kind of to a magician, may look like your doing a double. So, even if you fake it, make it look like you're doing a double, go into it, and then go into the move, it may look like you're peeling out the card. And that's why I feel like it can be a magician fooler, in a way. But for a layman, you're here, you're just gonna grab right here, with your index and your thumb on each corner. Show it, show your hand completely empty. And what happens from here, is this is when the card comes like that, in the cover of this hand going to place this card. So, you go to place, and at the same time, you're whipping this card out. And the main thing you guys gotta focus on, is not getting that sound. Because that's awful, and that will give it away. That's a dead giveaway. So, it doesn't need that much pressure. All it is, is my pinky coming in, and just pulling this card down. And if you do it soft enough, you won't get any noise. And that's what you need to happen. So, all that's happening, is from here, hand comes over, card gets placed, right here in this little gap in the pinky. So, you're clipping it with the pinky, as your placing this card on top. So, I'll show you guys in slow motion. Place on top, clipping it with the pinky, and now all that's gonna happen, is you're just gonna drop with the index, drop with the thumb, just like that. And push out, and that's kind of important, to push with this pinky underneath, to kind of feed it into the hand. So, I'll show you guys without actually placing the card. So, right here, gets pushed into the pinky, this pinky underneath is pushing that card out. Because right now it's gonna be almost underneath the pack. So when it clips to the pinky, the other pinky is pushing out, and that's when you re-grab with the thumb. And right here, you're in this position right here, and you're able to just replace right on top, and get that change. So, with the card in the hand, this is what it looks like. Out, show that your hand is empty. Cover. Get it into that clip, with the pinky. Place down, right now the pinky pushes up and out, and then you re-grab with the thumb, and place on top. So, basically I'll do it in fast motion from the front. Show nothing in the hand, place, and then change. And what I've found is the angles, so what you're gonna want to do is tilt a little bit up, and you're gonna show, and I've found that if you turn to the side, so if you turn to your left to perform, and then as your turning you do a little bit of a rotation, I feel like that's kinda the nicest way to perform it. So you're here, you come here, and then you're turning here, and right here is where you place on top. And that's where you get that change. So, your kind of doing a little bit of rotation with the hips as you're performing this. And then, that's basically it. And then, you know, to cover you could just do a double, or whatever you want to clean up from that. And I guess necessarily, you could change it again. - [Alex] We were talking about different ways to like, after you have the card in your hand, to change it. So, you could do like this motion, you can do-- - [Nic] So, if you're here, and you wanna change it, you can come here, go like that, and now you could either change, I normally change like that. So, I place it right on top, so when I'm in this position, I just place on top, and then I do this, paintbrush effect. To look like I'm painting the card on. Or you can come here, you could change, and then ruffle up the back, and kinda like, run your thumb along the back, and the middle finger along the front. And that's kind just that motion right there. So, from the-- It's kinda like that. To make it look like your not even necessarily changing it, you're just ruffling up the back and the card changes visually. But the one that I mostly perform is this paintbrush effect. - [Alex] That looks great. So, let me see if I've got this down. I'll do it, and you film me. And this is the first time that I'm doing it. 'Cause, I just learned it now, watching this tutorial. So, you're doing this action, and you're holding it, sort of here. - [Nic] Yeah. - [Alex] Right? And your pinky is ready to go. So you want that free. Correct? - [Nic] Yeah, I'm actually more comfortable holding the card at the fingertips at each corner, that's just the way I hold it. But if you're more comfortable-- - [Alex] That's a good tip! Well, that's a good tip, 'cause then you're easily placing it here, and there's more room here. You're here, you do this, right? And do you keep it perpendicular? Or do you go more? - [Nic] I go more. Because I wanna place that corner right into my pinky. - [Alex] More. And then you grab it with the thumb. Grab it with the thumb, and then change. - [Nic] Exactly. - [Alex] Sweet! And then go back into it, boom! So, yeah. Here, boom, show, more, grab it with the thumb, come out and change. Very nice! I like it! I'll be usin' it. Let's go find some laymen out there. Nobody's there, nobody wants to see my magic. (laughing) Alright then. We won't be doing that. Sweet, transition time, do one of those transitions now, go! (piano music) What? I'm practicing. (laughing) (soft music) - Alright guys, there you have it. That was the video. That was Nic Suriano. You know what? I was really into that piano playing, so I'm gonna go and just let you do the outro. - Okay, sounds good. I'm down. Alright guys!
