This Came From The Deepest Ground Ever

so now that we've bought the expensive new ground it's time to do something stupid because last time i determined you could go as deep as this on the new ground but that's not true because if you have a tier two pickaxe and shovel you can go deeper and find better stuff really wish i knew this weeks ago so this is the level one pickaxe and here's the level two going ever deeper forever bigger gold so then by the time we're getting sparks that means we're gonna find some big gold and we went a long ways down then all we need is a tier two shovel to be able to get some of this incredibly valuable dirt now i just need to find my vehicle and put fuel in it will actually be able to do this i'm already over this idea despite the fact i know how cool the end is going to be but i am going to do this on creative mode to save myself 45 hours okay so we're gonna go ahead and leave those in there now i just need some water to fill this idiot up really couldn't have run out of water in a worse place anyways tier two dirt should mean for some valuable stuff that is a big girthy piece of iron and the gold is also quite large so that's going to be easy to make a mountain of and we can compare that back to what i was mining before in the tier 1 stuff you can see it's way smaller and for a price comparison the tier 1 iron is worth 13 and the tier 2 is worth 40 so we're getting three times the value that easily and the gold of course is worth 75 per chunk 75 every time i take a scoop of dirt so now i just need a little bit of that for something of an investment fund and we can start building this really stupid idea okay how much for all of this 2500 that should get us going now i just need to open up a big pit so i can actually do some mining and i've got a pretty fun way to do that unfortunately these idiots cost 26 000 each so we're probably only gonna need about 10 of them because he remembered we're playing on creative mode where everything is free and my misery takes hours is that 10 that's about 10. you think i could fit 10 nukes on a single pallet i hope i can that would save me much time that's gonna have to be good enough for now we do have one extra but nature can have this one maybe that'll go off at some point now that i've turned myself into a nuclear bomber who can't see where he's going we're gonna head back to the mine the fun thing is this right here is probably the best idea i'm gonna have today everything else is going to fall apart so we'll go ahead and set those off somewhere down below then again we have to open up the top anyways to get stuff down there a little bit so we're just going to kind of do it like this uh something like that might work there it is that seems to have given us a good head start this is still tier wonder though we need to go this deep before we're going to be in a happy place so as soon as the mushroom cloud is gone we'll resume mining i guess i never really considered the fact that i was gonna blow up my switch go ahead and unload the nuke palette over here then we've got all the switches we need to work with so all we need to do is keep working out into the middle where it's gonna be deepest nuke number two that just really never gets old so i think four nukes is gonna take us about to the right place there is actually tier three dirt down below that nukes will go through but i don't think there's currently a way we can process tier three dirt but if there was i would love to and what is your problem i'm so sick of the noises there's constant noise everywhere i go well this is close to the bottom of the right dirt so we'll just go a little bit deeper it's nice to have a little room to play with or something i don't know we'll pick ax around to find the right layer that's perfect this right here is the bottom of tier two so for anyone wondering when your mushroom cloud does this you're at the right depth and that was basically the fun part because now we need to build an all new operation using all these very fun pipes the palette can't hold a lot but given the fact that i can fly back and forth i think this is gonna be quickest and i've just realized exactly how deep this is now i'm gonna have to bring water all the way down and then resources all the way out that's gonna be 45 000 pipes so i'm gonna need the truck anyways but i'm fairly sure there's a shortcut if we just go over the edge here we'll land somewhere down here then i think as long as you get reasonably close to the town on the other side of this you can unstuck yourself and you're in town i'm gonna spend like an hour just picking up straight pipes can we get a pipe stretcher in the game at some point okay i've loaded a million pipes into the truck we're gonna worry about the next step later i've just now realized i did this in a really stupid way again because i have a duplicator i can duplicate literally any item in the game right on command even trying to do this the cheating easy way i make it incredibly hard luckily i have a patented strategy to make up for my last time i drink more coffee then i move and think faster and i make up for everything i've lost and i also have what's called an invincible water filter hook so i think i probably just attached that somewhere onto one of these pipes and i should get clean filtered water forever but i'm going to maybe put a few of those on at some point but for now i'm going to spend a lot of time doing plumbing yup directly on point good job well i've got the water at least over the hole now i just gotta build it downwards and over and then downwards and over again that should just be hilariously easy at this point and uh this flawless design is why i'm a youtuber and not something useful but if anyone ever needs a plumber that's gonna make you go bankrupt in a hurry give me a call i'll be happy to help speaking of bankruptcies where are my drills i think we're gonna have a problem for the time being probably gonna have to make do with these but on the brighter side of things i've also determined that if you put your flying helmet on you can also pull a wagon with you so for now we'll get these guys set up mining whatever we can find down there though since these are tier 1 they can't harvest tier 2 dirt anyway can they but if i'm understanding it correctly we can go in here to get what we're looking for so i think we can actually use this big ass forge to make the tools i need we just need the template from wherever i find that we feed it the ore we hit the lever and it spits out whatever it is i'm after i just don't really know where the templates are probably tools and equipment and there might actually be new stuff here that i've never even seen before or just more of the same alright so here's everything we need a claudium drill masterwork design claudium intake booster and claudium harvester so we're gonna need a lot of cloudium i think if i'm reading that right we need 100 claudium and 300 iron so obviously that's going to be super easy for me to find right now luckily i do still have my baby operation set up so i can actually steal some of this iron and then we just need to find a piece of claudium had to do a little bit of rearranging but that should work pretty nicely so now we just gotta feed it some dirt and then we sit back and wait while i start to measure things up so what are the odds of claudium and can someone let me know if they see some i feel like it's going to take a few minutes okay while i'm waiting for claudium here's how i get my iron i double it and put it into the smelter like this and therefore in a couple minutes we'll have all the iron we could ever want at some point the game probably is gonna grenade on itself but we'll get there when we get there this was also iron that came from uh tier two ground so this should already be pretty heavy the weight for that one is 639 so if we cut that apart i think that's big enough that should be 200 per bar well we got 300 and two 150s because i cut the wrong one in half i think that's enough and if it's not it's an easy enough fix in fact since there's no claudium sitting here waiting for me we might as well just take one of the bars uh whatever it doesn't matter which one it is and there we go now we can smelt all these together if we want once those are all together we put them in we can weigh it here and then we're gonna have a bigger iron bar there's 2500 pounds and if 2 500 pounds isn't enough then nothing is it just spat out a piece of claudium so now we can get to work getting our claudium bars they are just little pieces of claudium but all we need to do is go like this turn that into a bar then we just uh multiply the bar a few times and then we should have enough because all of those together are going to weigh are going to weigh 275 let's make that bigger you can never have too much claudium so these should weigh several thousand pounds each which um yeah good enough so this little operation has worked very nicely but it's going to shut down for now hopefully never to be used ever again i'm going to have to use the palette delivery system so now to find out if i was understanding this correctly so we ish 300 huh that's a lot they really make you earn these things can't tell you how much effort i have to put in to do this so 300 should be um those are maybe a few thousand each i don't really remember then it was only 100 for claudium so is that enough that seems to be enough and now we get this thing a tier 2 harvester which is going to harvest here to dirt and that's going to make me very happy oh and it even gives you a refund of all the excess so we're just going to recycle that through because i'm not paying attention to numbers at all but i'm pretty sure it's going to be enough oh okay well you guys can okay next is the claudium intake booster that's actually really easy to build in comparison we probably have enough already in there i don't know where my bouncing bars have gone but there's my new um thing just in case i don't have enough we're going to like quadruple down on things probably more than enough and there's our this thing great so we'll put this all in a pallet then we'll go see if we can actually set this up somewhere while trying to find our way out of here even on creative mode these things are stupidly hard to get and that tells me they've got to be worth the while okay so the boosters just sit right in there and it looks like we can actually use more of them so we'll go ahead and add three more of those and go ahead and slap them on there if it'll let us okay that's got four boosters on it and we're currently at 338 water pressure up here which i think is a lot if we take one of these off it still reads 338 which makes me think that's maybe the maximum okay i took them all off and it's still at 338 so i'm wondering if it just sits at the maximum because it's creative mode okay so let's take a look to see about this drill okay one of the new features about it is the water intake is at the top so that actually makes it a little bit easier ultimately well sort of at least the water intake is here and the spit out thing is this way so that's different from before but it's already spitting out little bits of dirt it might need more pressure for bigger ones or maybe that's all we get but it's actually spitting those out in a pretty big hurry so we're going to clear those out for now because we've got to figure out how to fit more of these down here this is going to be a really complicated annoying system now it's time to grab one of every piece of conveyor to see if i can bring them all back so the design i've settled on for now is gonna look something like this it'll make more sense once it's fleshed out and hopefully it actually works starting to get this mess sort of figured out i'm gonna build a conveyor up right now to see where it's gonna come out even this step by itself is gonna take a long time because we're way deep i've also luckily decided to give the rake a try and turns out this is the fastest way to uh move ground and make things nice i wish i knew this earlier fun little status update this is where the mountain of gold is gonna go it's gonna come from all the way up there because i've dug all the way through the ground to make it all come up to here all right i managed to get the grinder up there so everything should work once i get it rolling i'm also gonna need a lot of juice for this big idiot luckily i also have a solution for that and it turns out it takes a lot of these to actually fill this up but if we start multiplying these things go a little bit quicker there we go it literally took two of these bars to fill this thing full which means we now have a mega bar which i'll duplicate somewhere over here where i can't see it in the snow and just three of those seems to put that up to maximum capacity so it should be able to grind all sorts of good dirt and then adding three power crystals down here is going to take us from 192 all the way up to 355 that means the conveyor is working a little bit quicker i've also decided to leave this smelter here because obviously it's going to catch everything that falls out of there and smelt it very nicely i'm probably forgetting a lot of stuff along the way but i think we're gonna let these little puppies start going and see exactly what happens so far there is dirt going up there so that's a great start i forgot to add grinders up here but the dirt coming out is so small that i think that's probably gonna be okay anyways and this is only two drills going so far the dirt makes its way up here pretty quickly straight in there perfect not sure that landed anything down below but not many of them are going to do so but the dirt's coming up very quickly and it's raining gold could maybe be bigger gold though well since everything is landing right about here missed missed that one it's close though right maybe one in ten will land in there and i feel like that's probably still going to add up i couldn't have engineered this worse if i tried but anyways that's the start of my gold mountain i just wanted to do some quality control to see that if i manually pan out something from the bottom is it bigger gold or is it actually just the same i think it's more or less the same which is very good because that was going to annoy me uh and in case you're wondering at least one piece of gold has fallen into the soup that is going to be a bleeding occurrence so we'll just leave things here to run for a while and add more drills i need more leg i've also determined that it would be a lot of fun to count the dirt going through this thing that way by the end we know how many dirt pieces we've mined and how big of a mountain the stuff that makes uh it seems mostly accurate accurate enough for my scientific purposes so now it's mostly just time to determine how much space we're going to need and how many drills we want the answer to that is simply more alright well i've sort of cleared as much space as i have before hitting the end we'll see how much crap we can fit in here we'll get a real nice leg machine going at some point still kind of perfecting the mining process but i want to check up top to see how we're doing so we've run about 750 pieces of dirt since we last looked and it's not a mountain at all yet but it is a pretty big pile of lots of stuff and the soup's getting full plus there's quite a bit of claudium in there and some pretty big pieces of it at that so with the current setup we're getting about 54 dirt chunks through the thing per minute 54 per minute is pretty good that looks like that and from below obviously it's starting to build a little bit of a pile it's semi-consistent rain coming down but i'm about to plug in another six drills which is essentially going to quadruple our output so we're going to go from about 54 to 200 per minute okay they all seem to be running everything seems to be okay it's just a matter of turning them all on now and then we're gonna be spitting out quadruple dirt i already saw a dirt chunk go somewhere okay i've got a few conveyor belts that's okay i know how to fix this we only had a few little dirt chunks fall onto the ground but now we have a big row of conveyors all working to get us lots of money that one's not lighting up and neither is that one we might need to put some dirt under those too whatever the case there's a lot of dirt going up here so that means the drill up here should be working overtime we've currently mined 1304 dirt chunks but that number is going to go up really really quick now so there's definitely starting to be a lot of stuff hitting the ground um the soup's getting full and there's lots of stuff coming down this drill is one that needs to help it's light turned on there we go that's better is eight happy lights so we've got eight drills currently at work so this thing's already jumped up to about 1500 because of the uh continual line of dirt it has to mine uh but maybe uh we're over this for now so we're gonna go take this and see how many fell in here to see what that's worth and i'm also just gonna remove the soup all together because i want a mountain not a soup and this mixed gold bar that came from the soup is worth 3 500 which is pretty good so that pile of gold itself is worth much much more i think the pile is going to get really big really quickly now not really sure what's happened but the game suddenly gotten very laggy so that obviously means we're making progress because look at this mess it's not yet a mountain of gold but the game is not happy but for now i can just reload it and everything is pretty happy for the time being i'm gonna add more drills all right i've got the next uh set of drills all plumbed in i just need to turn them on i'll probably need to need some of these some dirt but that's gonna double our output again so we're gonna have eight times what we originally had 16 times the detail and i imagine the game is not going to love this very much okay now that i've got all the drills hooked up the game basically isn't working i'm getting like one frame for 10 seconds but you can see there's a lot of dirt going up here so that's probably part of the problem we're up to 6000 chunks already and it did not take us long to get here we've been starting to get the problem where dirt's uh stalling in weird spots also we had a little jam up on the chute so i need some adjustments i think the best way to clear this is going to be by touching it that didn't really work okay so we're going to place that there for a second we're going to start to pick these apart until the whole thing collapses very carefully which isn't super easy to do because the game gets very laggy anytime i'm over here alright i'm starting to think that however many drills i just put there was too many because i have no idea what i'm doing anymore so my solution for the great dirt jam up was basically to go like this and just extend everything out a little bit and then it's all falling in a nice fresh spot without having to sort out that mess uh i have also turned some of the drills uh off because the game just was not having it i cannot have that many drills going but this looks like a pretty healthy balance now because things seem to be running at capacity we've mined 8 000 dirt chunks and we're gonna let this run for like 12 hours to see what happens maybe everything's gonna light on fire maybe it's gonna work maybe it's gonna implode we'll find out soon well i let the game run for about 12 hours overnight it clearly froze sooner than later into that process i mean i'm not disappointed with the result i just wanted a much bigger mountain i do have one i can walk on at least and it is pretty wide there is a lot of value here so i think this is sort of a case of less is more i would have been better off running like five drills all night rather than 12 or whatever i did because the game just freezes anyway [Music] you
