oh my lord how are we supposed to do this [Music] hello everybody and welcome back to empires of the undergrowth where today there has been many update and we're gonna have a look we are in the beta nobody else is allowed to see this but a special people actually you could pretty much just go on the description and steam and find the entry but anyway the other foot in this one we're gonna play medium are we gonna play hard should we do hard i can do hard super easy so the other foot basically the whole time we played through the campaign we were playing as the red former carrion now we're playing as the enemy so this will be interesting but here we are look guys oh we're the blue babes all right do i want that i don't really care about the food do i care about seeing tiles uh right so in this scenario we actually get to try out a bunch of new ants as well i cannot wait for them to introduce so many different species of ants like the um the honey pot ants ah it's gonna be so good i love it i'm looking forward to it so i'm going to get i feel like this is all going to be workers what i want to do actually is just make food tiles here because we're going to be getting our food from the outside so we are definitely yeah if i just make these all food i mean how much food do we have here okay that's probably enough food i don't want to waste too much oh that's right look at them they're gonna go my little blue boys my little blueberries i know i know you guys have been waiting just making sure we're recording good good you've waited a long time for empires in the growth and it's finally back ooh i love this game it's freaking sweet so now now they're going to collect the food one two three four where's the other guy what are you guys doing boy they're starting a union yes okay before we do anything too drastic because we are playing on hard and i am not pro at this point you may well have guessed that's right put the egg down leave me alone here we go so what's outside what is out oh we got a skull and we got little bits of food too but i don't know if i could do much right so we'll put them there but there's nothing else i can make at the moment so instead of you know the way we did it normally it was just a regular kind of campaign this one is just going to be one all-encumbering campaign so i'm looking forward to that tell you what we'll put it might be timed so we may want workers it is time we connected the out world to the feeder colonies i want to see how these erectors respond under pressure you see what i mean they're going to kill us they're going to kill us like instantly so we don't have anything we only have workers so we need to get our butts on a roll our erectors have neutralized the threat to their queen wait what good continue the experiment let me know the results don't add more than 30 ants at once though we don't want to harm the queen understood i don't even see it oh these dudes there's the pipe 40 ants 40 oh god when when are they coming well i guess i'm just going to build a worker as soon as i can't make blood anything else and i don't even see any other ants like at all i just see these two dudes we want to keep our workers safe right so having them the entrance being past the queen and this way i mean the queen really i mean we can always make an entrance if you wanted to over here get workers to the tube oh get workers we need 40 workers to the tube serious i i have 26. uh okay well there's a whole bunch of them so the moment we got 35 so there's another there's another there's another there's another food stores are full food food food glorious food oh do we have a worker over here normal normally just do nothing or no i think they were just over chilling by the queen fair dues right i don't think we're gonna need any more workers than that that is a pretty overkill no he lost two but he will become feud feud food right to the pipe to the tube off you go dolly ho so we we lose them and more just hatch right okay so we don't really need 40 ready to go we just need to get a lot in there go my precious girl i think you've gathered the food well you've gathered almost all of it that's it we did it okay get in the colony before i don't know you die or something so in the end i think we're gonna try to overcome the other one the other colony when we're connected but they're gonna have leaf cutters but we've got army ads and i want to see what army ants can do so they're so sweet especially when they're getting a rage mode like this skull that's a nice girl that's henry a combination of a raptor and fusca let's start with 20 of each oh wait so i i i still do i not oh i can finally get ambiance yes yes i'm excited this is i kind of just want to do all armies i know we can do track jaws but i want to do some army boys this is going to be sweet look at that i was like i was 40 army and media oh they're medias oh that's melee right i think media is a melee what's it what's a thingy name they are the singers so get workers to the tube so we just want workers okay well either way how much they cost 20. i'm probably gonna make sure that they are correct the nurseries have got that but there's definitely definitely at least two food out here which means we can make one more and now we're getting yes here they come the army and this is so exciting isn't it seven armies these are only baby whip spiders right so we definitely got this yeah wow we got loads more food oh if you remember and we do live streams there's an eggy vote look at it okay spiders surely right yes right they need to get in rage mode oh that's good that's one taken out now can we take out two now dps output will be doubled but uh at least we're all here this time there's left okay so these two are gonna come back but the rest through the tube some seeds on the surface for my succeeding eruptors gather them quickly i'm going to you're going to kill me otherwise or what's this the colony's ability to withstand such overwhelming assaults is incredible i wonder how will they handle a sustained flow of aggressors oh so oh is that a timer so i just i need to keep oh okay keep tube supplied for 100 seconds i can't let this red bar drop okay fair enough okay yeah we're gonna need we're gonna need these guys over here too oh god oh god they're getting distracted themselves off but the army ants however the army ants are doing they're doing the lord's work oh lord now there's so many yes get him harvest my pretties okay okay you don't need to you don't need to be by the tube anymore you're okay go collect that the uh army ants can go get this this is dangerous that's enough for now responding they mounted an excellent defense against 20 25 and even 30 thousands as usual perfect perhaps we can provide more of a challenge for them next time what a fantastic suggestion collect food i don't know why i didn't have that selected slave maker nursery tile what a slave maker i want more army ants though i don't care collected quickly faster faster i'm going to i'm going i've collected as fast as i can dig out dig out go go go we've only got oh god um workers workers off you go do that okay we're gonna have to mount up a crazy defense here uh we can definitely level up loads of this stuff here just get as many as possible upgrades because we're gonna get a lot of food coming in in a second yep there you go see it's just coming in now and if i mean i guess we don't need too much food tiles there you go get that as well and as soon as i've leveled up as much as i can i think we're gonna have to expand these little uh little cubbies i don't know getting more what these new things the trapdoors how much do they cost 90. okay yeah these guys are expensive they're very expensive so we make these all level two and then level three in the middle at least we've got something oh there it is there it is attack it attack the spider overwhelm the target okay uh workers go grab that go grab that well you know these guys do the do the hard work um and while we're at it look at look at the multitasking i'm doing here oh it's crazy then once that's done there we go there we go we've got some truck jaws and move the truck drawers into the fighty scenarios yes oh 200 not food from this that's great okay apparently the uh workers aren't picking up much ah you should have to do so much edits with this but it's just all go go go have i got any more upgrades i can do i can do that one and that's it i think uh and we did we have 600 so we could branch out just a little i don't know how good trap jaws are but we're committing guys back i mean i guess if we're all around here if something drops in we can easily surround it so maybe that's the best tactic to do but there you go there you go want to make sure we've got some leftover resources as well hopefully we get some more food before something attacks we've got a lot of a great announce but if things start dying it's going to be very expensive to uh reestablish ourselves oh we need to get workers to the tube we got no willing participants oh there you go and done nest do we really need to kill that wolf spider not yet there's loads of them against the roofer they just stayed off an attack from 40 rupees 40. i think that's enough for now we don't want to over stress them agreed definitely not definitely don't want to do that don't over stress our ants there's only i'm i'm really low on numbers though because we lost a lot of workers oh truck joes can collect you fool how much uh food is being wasted here 95 oh god there's a load and we need to get that we need to get that before that goes because that can disintegrate the seeds won't come on come on come on and you everybody i'll tell you what you guys you guys go over there and collect that food uh the these guys because they're closer to danger and they can fight can get that but the workers isn't a lot especially when you think we have to keep on remaking them as well i can't divide this is it worth just having like a separate spot of workers just to help out i think it is i think it is killed oh there's a banquet oh there's a bloody banquet okay off you go go collect these workers do you collect food why are you not collecting food collect the damn food somebody's gonna be screaming at the screen and they're like babies oh that's a lot of food incoming a lot of food incoming any more upgrades level three level three oh this cost they cut they're expensive the army is on the march ten there you go look at that the food is gone right so collect from these guys thank god they're not um they're not the food's not disappearing because there's a lot here um i'm gonna send the workers off to there to gather that um and i want to upgrade these guys as well i want these ones to be good oh they're so afraid we've ran out of time it doesn't matter if the nest isn't perfect why not run the experiment then clear out the specimens and bleach the equipment yes yes i know i'm doing it and when you are finished here i think we should have a word about your conduct around the laboratory i think we should avoid of conduct around the laboratory what was that nothing nothing uh starting the experiment good let me know when you have a result okay quickly quickly get as much food as you can right so they're they're gonna connect this is it the winner will have the privilege of joining me for the ultimate test the real final experiment the loser will be relegated to the waste disposal oh they're coming those are the carrions are connected let the war commence are they coming for me are they are they gonna do defensive no they're coming do we do we also attack or do we hang back in our nest what's the best tactic should we hang back in the nest them them i'm gonna play defensive i've got a fair amount of food and it if my ants die i can instantly reinforce if these all these ants die there's so many leaf cutters they're gonna stun are you serious uh i could upgrade uh ah can i get one to level three is that a possibility yeah they're coming they're coming is he gonna bang on the glass again i knew he's gonna start squishing ha your ants will die not mine oh god the workers were supposed to be inside why the work is not inside oh god get inside guys run oh run okay they should they should come out now they'll come in no i'm hiding oh what are you guys doing what are you doing why why are you still coming out is he still there yeah they're still coming out what are you doing i kind of want to hide yeah look we've only killed this many and they're coming back already they are dropping a little bit of food oh oh oh oh okay we're gonna we're gonna catch them we're gonna catch them now we're gonna catch him there we go go go go go go catch catch the stragglers catch the stragglers here we go yeah now after all that i got to the end and then all right guys hold on two seconds let me get all the way back there okay so here we are back in it again i tried this three more times each time i got killed at a certain point so now this is on medium and i have to say the only difference with medium is there's a tiny few less beetles and a lot more time in between waves but fortunately this time i've done it much better so we've got loads of if we have a look at the upgrade so those are all the major uh army ants and then this is the slave makers these are the other ones and this is the trap jaws so there's loads more upgraded here so i'm expecting this to go out very well also we kill this thing really close to the door so i want to make sure we get as much food from that as possible so we need to keep these guys at bay [Music] kill the enemy queen well that should be pretty easy i mean we've already just killed all of them those oh look that rage filled yes slaughter yes yes they just get the blood fury oh they see blood they're like blood angels and they just go and go and go they just rip through oh nothing can stop an army when it's on a rampage oh look they're trying look at the try and bless them we can just rip through all the leaf cutters within two seconds oh they're running now it took no time oh my god we're in we're in right where's our queen this is a terrible thing oh look they've got a little spiral there as well yep and you're dead to the queen they've got no food they've literally got it whoa those are the leafcutter ones yummy yummy this time we're gonna crash and i'll kill you i just need to kill oh is she gonna get one of those effects where if she goes below half health she does something nope nope she's gone yep we got him pathetic useless ants perhaps this new colony will prove to be a superior research subject [Music] and how much easy was that it was so much easier literally three minutes to be three minutes from click and record to winning as soon as oh my god i think we won anyway if the game hadn't crashed we would have done it i don't know how many uh more things they would have gotten is in terms of like food and how many they i mean they did seem to keep on coming but once you get through it's kind of okay kind of easy but anyway guys i hope you've enjoyed our triumphant return aside from a few of crashes released one crash two empires of the undergrowth
