The Ultimate village for the Blacksmith & Carpenter | Enshrouded Build Tour

so I did say that I was going to build a village so today I'm going to show you guys the latest addition to the Village which is the house for both the Carpenter on the left and the blacksmith on the right but anyways the entire idea for this build was trying to make it feel like sort of more of a village so that was all like sort of clustered together make it look organic so that it looks like oh yeah they built this and then they added a second story or they added like this little bump out or this Dormer so going for that and also as you can see just by all the items well all of the blocks basically just mismatching like just blending rocks and blocks together just trying to see what works that sentence definitely didn't work but let's just start touring which means uh I need to get down from here that tree just grew um all right this is a great start for the tour anyways let's get down as gra gracefully as possible the houses aren't in well they are connected but they are also not because that like overhang is still part of The Carpenter's house you might think oh The Carpenter's house is going to be the largest then uh I think actually the blacksmith's house is the largest because the blacksmith actually has a living room Carpenter doesn't but then the blacksmith's well he's just out there hey Santa but the car has a nice shop so let's actually go inside then so here is gimly he has a name I completely forgotten it I mean he gives dwarf fight yeah so I try to also give every build a bit of personality so that it's not just like oh you're generic fantasy house so with him I kind of think that like he is just tinkering away here constantly so if he like goes on lunch break he doesn't go upstairs to his actual house he brings his lunch downstairs here so there's a plate and a mug here and then he just like I don't know I like the idea that he might be like making wooden figurines like ducks like tiny ducks and voices even though they are not in game but I would love to have them but anyways besides that yeah he has a little bit of like a display for like the furniture that he makes he has a bricked up chimney because wood and fire usually don't go together so I was just like yeah makes sense if you look at the other areas of the house that like a chimney comes here but he has like bricked it up so maybe like when he started that was actually a full working chimney and like this was his full house but as it like time went on he built his house to be like bigger and bigger like he added to it and so he didn't need a chimney here anymore because he didn't like primarily live in this room anymore but anyways let's go out also this is one thing that I M want to point out which is um these walls are two blocks thick because I really love the palmwoods and just making like these wood panels and beams and such with it the only thing that I don't like is the outside wall showing on the inside so I might on future builds make it so that it's a threee block thick wall so that I can have like you know nice plaster work on the inside but have the stone on the outside and then also still have the wood paneling from the Palm wood although making the walls like thicker also allows me to do this which is just you know putting the furniture in the wall and then making it look part of the wall I tried to make a ladder also to go up there because uh gimly but um didn't really work that well so he's probably just going to like stand on his desk here anyways another thing for like the tiny details which I completely forgot as we got into it there's a tiny ball here that's not because oh trash now I like to think that gimy I'm just going to call him gimy from now on he feeds like the Stray Cats this is again like I want more animals in this game I want stray cats and dogs or just not stray but just that dogs and cats just wandering around the village here that spinning wheel is eventually going to get turned into a full like weaver or Taylor's house but but we didn't have time for that right now so that's just now outside but yeah the vines pretty much do the main lifting of this wall trying to make it a little bit more interesting I also tried to build like Planters like flower boxes didn't work how I wanted it so we just not going to have them here anyways let's go inside so here again the idea is just adding personality to the build so it's a little bit messy because he doesn't spend a lot of time here so he like oh yeah he's one plate like if he gets lunch or dinner he's just always in this spot it's just one PL just set up he doesn't have the entire table set up he does have a bowl for like food and water for I would imagine a pet cat so there's that and then he has a spot here which is the little bump out that you saw on the outside and yes this is the perfect place to just like sit down and read a book probably I don't think that the carpenter or gimy would really read books but if the sun comes in which it doesn't right now because me I guess but just imagine the cat he's well he she they are going to love this place just lying down in the Sun and then there's of course a little bit of fanciness but then I don't think he comes here every day so if I could put cobwebs in here I would like this is fancy just because he doesn't touch it at all anyways then let's go upstairs to his bedroom yeah I just imagine him just sitting down here at the end of the day cat in his lap or cat on the rock with a drink just sort of zoning out staring into the fire there's also just empty bookcases there's no books whatsoever in the village right now because the true end game of in shouted is not getting like the best gear or slaying the biggest enemy The End Game content for anded right now is building a library and yes I've been collecting books but it makes a lot more sense to put those in The Alchemist house yeah that's pretty much just the carpinter place again I really love do the wood Bing like as soon as I collected the palmwood blocks I was just like yeah I have Unleashed a monster anyways let's go the door and now let's go over to the blacksmith's house so again that little you know how do you call it the bridge I'm just going to call it that's still part of The Carpenter's house all of that is the blacksmith's house and yes I did make it so that his shop was just outside because it makes sense for a blacksmith like there's going to be probably a lot of smoke there's two big furnaces with chimneys which was a hell to build and then there's a dormer which I mean from here you can't really see it but I pretty much added that last on because as you can see all of the roofs are the like roof towels it's a lot of orange so I needed to break that up so that's why I added that door also just because it would just be a giant rectangle of orange stand so needed to break it up like the entire idea was just try and mix and match all of the blocks and see what works like this entire build was a journey even though I hate using that word in this context yeah he has just a nice Workshop so the village because some people ask it it's on this mountain above the Abundant so again English is not my forte but on top of the abandoned Hunter Camp it's on a mountain he is completely shirtless you know that he's going to have some frosty nips but anyway so that's pretty much the entire Workshop area the only thing that I would want to change is ADD like a different layer like add a little bit of a lower section so that I could place these charcoal burners down there because doesn't really work well with these charcoal burnishes being right in front of the entrance and anyways let's go into the actual house and compared to the carpenter or compared to gimy senta is all about the fanciness like he has a complete table decked out I would have bronze stuff but I was a little bit too little of patience didn't want to collect all of the bronze so yeah he does have some glass and stuff but um it's just fancy that's the entire idea that I had was just fancy this little nuke would have definitely become the toilet but don't really like how the like toilet or bathroom furniture looks and here's the reason why the blackith house is larger he actually has a complete living room like his house is larger but that's mostly because for the carpenter the first floor was his Workshop now the one thing that I would also want like I want pets like animals to walk around my villagers I also want a sofa because this just looks kind of weird to have just a wooden bench if you have a wooden bench is like your living room bench do let me know because I find that slightly strange I definitely need to put like a painting above there he has a little bit of a writing desk he doesn't have any books because again books our end game and then he has his bedroom which is just simple I don't think he spends a lot of time here so I just try to keep it as simple as possible also if the Sun hits this room at like the right angle that is just a death zone like the amount of light that just shines through there it it's blinding but anyways that's pretty much the house it's just simple for me just like building this house is a lot simpler than building a hobbit Hall at least for me I don't know why and then I just try to like on the outside just in general try to again you see it just mix and match blocks just so that things feel a little bit more lively as the Sun is setting demon tree I really couldn't have recorded this at a better moment that tree just crowing out of nowhere now this is a little bit of an extra because now we have seen like the houses this is where the tailor or seamstress or Weaver is going to come so that spinning wheel is going to get moved here it's also why the back of this house isn't really done because I'm just going to stick another building to this and then we just have to core chart here which is like that's where The Alchemist is going to come I have no idea what I'm going to do here maybe a chapel or something I have no idea what I'm going to do with the scor chart I just like that it's pretty and flowers and giant tree I really need to figure out how to limit the growth of trees because yeah the giant tree here looks nice if the that tree in front of the carpenter grows any larger the carpenter just stops exist thing anyways let's move on to the final bit of extra before we can like see just the nighttime view because I love the Firefly lamps so I want to show the nighttime view as well but I also expanded the farm let's move down there gracefully so yeah in the previous inter in iteration of the farm it was just this area now we have a well we have more flowers we have bees and we have grain and giant trees you weren't giant when uh the trees are my rival actually my main rival was that scarecrow to put it into the fields just a chit tip if you want to place English is really not my forte today but if if you want to place a scarecrow in the fields do it before you plant the fields and now it's getting slightly darker so I mean you can already see just the lights there's still some areas that need a little bit more light like here with the demon tree and at the back of the blacksmith now it's going to turn really dark but yeah that's pretty much it as the spire of the revelwood is just shining behind it all so I hope you enjoyed this tour I think this is a little bit more of a better way to Showcase builds than doing the speed build because most of the time I've have like no idea what I'm building and then just things go after a while and only at the end do I realize like oh yeah this what I was building but anyways I hope you enjoyed this little
