man I'm going as mr. peanut butter wait really hey no way in case you're not familiar mr. peanut butter unless you're talking about a different mr. peanut butter or some version of actual peanut butter in the tragic the tragic end result of mr. peanut the the after years of mr. peanut I haven't heard from him recently no peanut butter no mr. peanut butter is the dog character from Bojack horseman which is a great show the great nihilist it is cartoon show it was a bummer don't be put off by the by the lively and colorful animation it is one of the saddest most depressing shows out there it is rough to watch it bit like lays bare the the darkest parts of people's souls Wow but mr. peanut butter a nice happy-go-lucky dog in there he's got his problems he does have his problems he is sometimes he does the wrong thing so what's your mr. peanut butter costume entail well I made so I made some like big yellow dog ears out of felt and like pipe cleaner no not gonna do the dog face makeup as opposed to cat whispers little whiskers will be the dots and stuff and then I'm gonna wear a tuxedo t-shirt tucked into my gray jeans and sneakers great guys I like to get dressed up you know I was gonna say that's that's awesome are you gonna walk around all over excited oh yes certainly and then I'll scream across rooms what's her name again Erica you're not allowed to be in public or whatever he says you're not allowed near a school all you got a deal is this a crossover episode for like every other Bojack person I'll be great awesome Stephanie what are you going as hopefully soap great I hope for soap Matthew and I and Oliver have a team costume and in the absence of the team my costume I think makes the least sense of everyone I don't know I think going just as puresole I think that's legit I think that works I'm trying to clean up the world powerful scrubby bubblies yeah so I'm going to have a basically a large cardboard cutout in front of me that's going to say soap on it and it's going to be like have some shading and sparkles to indicate that it's wet same on the back Wow and it's gonna have a little strap that goes over my shoulder and hopefully some balloons although the colors of balloons that we have here are not exactly right for soap hole figures wait wait the the pink balloons didn't work out no definitely not my whole costumes white I don't know where the pink soap bubbles would come from shoot I know you said pink balloons you were like hey guys I was like I don't know why he's asking for pink alright because you had zero balloons and I got you two some balloons true we achieved somebody there I'm gonna be a white soap with lots of colorful bubble or a pink soap with pink bubbles that if we figure out a way to figure that out later it'll be great what are you gonna be I'm a shower Matthew and I and he made my costume for me Matthew does very nice for her are going as bath time so that's the goal Matthew was showering close to like Halloween time I'm soap and Oliver has a duck costume so he's gonna go as Oliver is covered collar is good he's been good for months I'm pretty gun close and I am nowhere Stephanie got to get her earlier today I'm like stay at home and work on your costume do you guys we have a lot of spooky things going on in this Halloween episode of duty lab which were so glad we were able to do by the way yes right that I know it's awful to make it is an accomplishment we just got back from the YouTube gaming summit and we are here very tight ready to scoop I took a five-minute nap before the livestream today did you manage to fall asleep that was exciting certainly right on the floor in the middle of the floor third time this week it's happened I'll just fall asleep on the floor for like 15 minutes stretches cuz that's as much sleep as I'm getting in the day pulled an all-nighter last night to write about Rick and Morty it's great got a record the other half of it and then go trick-or-treating like let's stream we are so for those of you who tuned in earlier this week we started the Halloween of that why you were late yes it was I was also late separately Internet Matthew as well we were only for our own separate reasons thank you very much don't just throw me under the bus here but no so for those of you turned and tuned in earlier this week we were doing Nath V our Help Wanted which had a Halloween update called the curse of dread bear it's pretty delightful but there were certain minigames that were blocked off and getting unlocked on like October 29th October 30th October 31st all leading up to Halloween which is great because today is October 31st and boom it means that everything presumably should be unlocked at this point actual candy in here I did you did - would you like to cos you're here because you were eating the gummy bear substantial amount we were gifted a ton of candy from from theorists friends in Abu Dhabi when we went to the Middle East games come yeah like last week we have a lot of illegal candy now yeah it's not illegal but it is from overseas it's the good stuff it can be it can vary a lot in the US now of course it's a US company now wait really yeah you sounded disappointed about that well you know it's less special it's not a foreign candy anymore that's okay we also have a lot of we own it now wait what we have a lot of Ferrero Rocher we have ooh Arabic Kit Kat wasn't in the Arabic Kit Kat look I'll try an Arabic Kit Kat yeah and we all like thick it's a thick cat the the British version of Smarties which are very different from the American versions of Smarties in in the US I caught me by surprise Smarties are a sweet they're small round and colorful just like these but they're made of like a shocking hard candy I actually really liked them but these are small round and colourful um they're made of chocolate they're looking M&Ms so we have some those flying bars which are some of my favourite in the world oh yeah but look how you eat it okay you just bit right through it what do I supposed to do okay the only one who does this I think I'm the only one who does gosh I can't do anything right that's when they are that small wait some reason when they're that small I don't it's okay it's bigger okay so maybe I'm not the only crazy person does anyone else eat a KitKat in layers you have to write validate my leg you got it oh my god the point of a wafer is to get like the layers of weight yeah I I bite off one layer and it defeats the purpose like the wafer the way first no I don't know try it no then you're getting chocolate in your teeth it no here try it oh there's the most unpleasant eating experience ever you didn't go evenly through the layers no it's like getting all jammed up in my team the layers guide you you gotta pierce through it like a cake no you have to like find the little groove with your teeth Oh pry up no because then it's getting all up in your like frontal canine teeth look at that you're like a little chipmunk eating into the magic the pleasure of the wafer is to go through descending layers of wafer that's it it's like a later date and one layer of time I don't even know you anymore no certainly not it's not surprising in the slightest it's just everyone everyone is really divided on this you crazy fam you gotta eat it all at once and possibly this I'm making it all last I had a lot of technique throwing up for making my Halloween candy last longer and that was one of them I don't know about that I like at a certain point you got to put some level of enjoyment expense some level of enjoyment were you one of those people did you have many twixes oh I love Twix because Twix I know a lot of people would for the peanut butter Twix try to eat the layers separately I didn't have I never had the peanut butter Twix and that was the thing I never think I also just but bit through I never separated the layers there yeah Twix because of the caramel you can't separate the layers it was really hard that's really cold I would freeze my Twix though crazy it was awesome has anyone ever eat fruit frozen candy bars anybody else oh yeah yeah right it's great I will say with the exception of Snickers I feel like it's too tough once you freeze this you know either probably right I was never a Snickers fan so it wasn't really relevant for me yes knickers has never been I used to I used to be one of those people who would trade away Snickers for for candy that people felt was vastly inferior for Snickers being such an omnipresent candy bar like one of the most iconic candy bars of all time you can't get rid of them in Halloween I just I don't like them that much it's the peanuts mixed with the caramel that creates a flavor that I don't like because I also don't like paydays which are just peanut butter and caramel pennies are pretty I like no paydays have the rice krispies treat don't they or no that's hundred grand yeah a hundred grand bars are good all right so last time we hopped in and there are all sorts of Easter eggs everywhere it's 1983 holy cow there's a funeral pyre out in the distance no technically it took me the entire livestream to figure out that that's actually the reflection of the moon in the water except there the moon is no longer in the sky so at this point it's kind of so spoopy right it's a little Fall Festival it's cute you have the snap for house off in the distance or at least what it appears to be no yeah we have we have our dear friend the car back there if it's Fall Fest 1983 so the fight of 83 got all sorts of fun jack-o'-lanterns you got an animatronic staring at us from the barn over any other so one of the things that we noticed last time where things were popping in and out of existence little Easter eggs I'm not really seeing anything new or different this time there used to be a pirate ship over there that showed up at one point and then if we switch over so now now that the full thing is released I'm curious if there's anything additional here all right pirate ship still isn't out there yeah look around for anything changed and well cheer no gamer says overs are like wafers they have layers that's accurate this is interest okay so here we're gonna push that he told us to push it out to the side okay stare at the lights and then it should summon dread bear behind us that's what happened last time it was fun didn't happen this time that's okay JK malls fool dia got him here let's hop enough okay so last time we played pleshkin patch which was the hide-and-go-seek game with the flashlight that was really rough so instead let's uh so okay afraid of the dark we got pirate ride corn maze are the new ones for that one for spooky mansion we had done build a mangle that was really hard but we somehow managed to pass it hey with the darts we keep trying okay hasn't worked yet there's something dancing off in the distance that's is that glitch trap that's weird I can't see it from outside he's way way off in the distance he's kind of small oh yeah he's just doing a little let me go it must be glitch trap since he's the happy-go-lucky guy who dances after he kills people oh that's cool weird you you do your little dance my friend do your little dance live your life so we weren't able to do hallway last time because the controls weren't working but Chris fix that I don't know what Oh a trick-or-treat was that was a treat yeah so trick-or-treat was going up to the door and having to predict who's gonna answer the door that was super fun dread bear is new so we haven't gotten to do that and then some more extra nights of danger keep out which is a modification of the classic snaf can play so let's start with pirate rub right I'm curious about pirate ride all right cool oh I have a hint for you on this one oh wow oh not even not even giving me a chance to the hip hop in how to beat it it's just an extra fun thing tell us the game is like a must-have thinkin fer is of the last provided you're okay with like the jump scares and the thing is like there's spooky but you get used to them right we happy you eventually like like treated everyone so equally and fairly time spread and it was one of those things where it's it's especially difficult when you are also in front of the camera and so seem to be like oh jeez I can appreciate that they're giving us different types of gameplay and still throwing in lots of secrets and easter eggs. Kinda hope there's a color-blind mode for coloring in that brain though. Also, it doesn't seem like they've unlocked anything in Hard Mode yet, so maybe there's still a lot more to go?
