day 97 without hypixel i'm beginning to lose all hope food supplies are running short i've already finished the entirety of wincraft three times and that damn progress bar still says 92 percent i wonder if we'll ever see the skyblock hub or run another dungeon again not even the new mining minigame channels in the hypixel discord server can keep me entertained and if i see one more meme about touching grass i might actually punch someone oh wait it's back oh my god finally i can make that slayer guide i've been meaning to do for a week now if you're a new viewer and find this video helpful kind of mid-game kinda end game but also not really endgame content of skyblot they each feature four or five tiers of bosses that you can kill for a microscopic chance of getting a reward that probably isn't very good slayers are totally optional but if you wanna get accessories and be able to use interesting items you're gonna have to use layers at one point or another all slayers follow a similar format they are all quests you can start in exchange for coins by talking to mad dots underneath the bar in the hub these quests require you to go to an area of skyblot except dungeons and kill mobs of a certain type to gain combat hp upon reaching a set amount of combat hp the boss will spawn and you have to fight it the four slayers in the game right now are zombie spider wolf and enderman and each one of them comes with four difficulty tiers with the exception of the zombie slayer which has five defeating a slayer boss rewards slayer xp for that slayer and gaining slayer at sp levels up that slayer which unlocks rewards which can include more potential drops from that slayer or the ability to use and craft armor and weapons that are specifically designed to be effective against that slayer boss as of the time of recording the james meta is in a bit of a poor state and these items are generally not the best to use however they do provide a cheap way to defeat bosses and are likely to be rebalanced to be the best in the future all tier 3 and higher bosses also spawn mini bosses as you kill more enemies which are strong enemies that give you a lot of combat hp and help you summon the boss faster for the sake of not spending this entire video going over tables i've left a link to the community wiki for each of the bosses in the description of this video so you can see the exact drops rewards health and damage numbers of every boss in the game so without further ado let's go over each of the bosses the first slayer you'll encounter is the revenant horror or zombie slayer this is by far the weakest slayer as it acts just like a normal zombie for the most part quickly running at you and dealing damage to you when this boss does damage to you it heals itself and every few seconds it enters an enraged state in which it does more damage and moves even faster for a short period of time the best drop you can get from this is a scytheblade which requires you to be slayer level 7 to drop it this is the only boss to have a special fifth tier which is a much stronger and completely different boss which attempts to throw the ante at you and occasionally does a massive explosion this boss's best drop is a reaper heart which is used to craft the very powerful warden helmet all in all the first four tiers of this boss can probably be taken on by any mid game player and the tier 5 is very doable with some late game deer for faster summoning the wolf mat provides a 30 boost to combat xp earned and the best place to drive this is the crypts under the graveyard in the hub the second slayer is the tarantula broadfather this boss has a similar difficulty to the revenant horror but has some different behavior the main trouble this boss will give you is the fact that it constantly tries to jump behind you which is at best annoying and at worst potentially deadly it helps to keep your back against a wall to stop it from jumping at you the boss also heavily reduces the amount that you heal so killing the boss quickly is the best way you ensure you win this fight using tarantula armor with a scorpion foil is the easiest and cheapest way to deal with this boss but if you're more of a late game player then you can really use anything you want if you're lucky the boss can drop tarantula talisman or if you're really lucky it can drop a digested mosquito which is used to craft the mosquito bow the best place to form this boss is in the underground area of the spider's den as the spiders there give a lot more hp than the ones in the rest of the den a tarantula pet is the best bet for this as it provides 40 percent more combat xp from spiders but the wolf pet's 30 ability can be used too if you don't have a tarantula pet sven packmaster is the third slayer boss you encounter this boss is the hardest of the basic trio but is still totally doable with mid game deer this boss tries to bite your ankle like a normal wolf but its special ability is the fact that it does true damage which essentially is damage that ignores your defense at its highest it does 200 true damage per second which can melt you even through some strand armor the way you counter this is with the high health provided by mastiff armor but generally speaking mastiff armor isn't actually that good for this boss and neither is the pooch sword another quirk of this boss is that it performs a slam dunk yes that's its actual name attack which does high damage and sends you flying if you stand still so pro gamer tip don't stand still and final note when the boss reaches half health he becomes invincible for a few seconds and summons some puppies to attack you you don't have to defeat the puppies but they can become annoying and deal a lot of damage one thing this boss cannot handle is water if you lure the boss into water it will move too slow to even hit you and you can kill it relatively safely the wolf pet is the best for this as it provides the 30 combat xp boost but also gives you extra defense and damage against wolves and the best place to farm this is in the howling caves behind the waterfall in the foraging island of all bosses this probably has the best rewards as you can get the overflot's capacitor which drafts the important and expensive overflots power orb as well as allowing you to use it if there's just one slayer you put your time into make it this one the voided loom seraph is more of a wild card boss it's totally different to the other three and it's also significantly harder the tier 2 of this boss can bring a literal end game player to their knees and to this day most players can not consistently defeat a tier iv aside from dealing more damage than most dungeon mobs do whilst outside of dungeons this boss has a more chaotic fight with a lot to focus on and a lot to pay attention to and has a much more repetitive format that you can begin to learn over time unlike other slayers the first tier of this boss is not a pushover but it's also not a pushover aside from dealing high damage this boss gets a shield at 100 percent 66 percent and 33 that can be depleted from normal or ferocity hits the damage of the hits does not matter for every 3 seconds that this shield is active the boss gains a large permanent boost to its dps so destroying this shield as fast as possible is vital from tier 2 and upwards the boss will sometimes decide to hold and throw a beat in somewhere when below 50 health and you must run to that beaten in 5 seconds or you will die no matter what you don't have to punch or break the beaten just stand within 2 blocks of it be aware that he will never throw the beat in whilst his shield is on tier 3 adds another layer of distractions summoning floating heads that laser you when below 33 health alone they don't do much but each new head creates doubles the damage they deal and just six heads is enough to melt most players in two seconds you have to look at the heads for half a second to get them away tier iv adds the cherry on top for this adhd nightmare of a boss every 50 million health after a shield breaks he becomes invincible for 8 seconds and it creates 4 spinning laser beams that are 20 blots long you must stand within 20 blocks of the boss during this phase or you take damage rapidly when touched by these lasers you take 25 percent of your health s3 damage and any healing you receive is reduced by 12 for 90 seconds which also stats each time you get hit by the laser during this laser phase he can still throw heads and beatens so make sure you are paying attention this is one of those bosses where i do recommend you use the right deer the final destination armor is basically optional but the katana swords are needed the first two tetanus can be skipped in favor of an emerald blade giant sword or vault cry but the vorpal katana and especially the atom split titana outclass the prior weapons by a considerable amount their ability to deal extra ferocity also helps as breaking the shield quickly is essential to being able to last the entire fight plasma floods or overflows orb and a wand of atonement are highly recommended for this fight as well as a good attention span and being able to keep track of multiple things at once all i can really say for this one is good luck and if you can't
