- Behind you. - What? - Behind you. - You say what? - Behind you. - [Customer] You got your bet. - Now you're the service guy, ah? Speechless? Nothing to say, dude? - Not the Tom or Jon. Wow, no. I'm so.. (beep). - [Taffer] You're what? - [Desi] Nothing. - Jon, the owner of this bar, actually sent me this letter. And this letter is the reason why we're here guys. And he writes me guys, and this is really touching. "I hope this reaches your hands. I'm the owner of Brick House Bar." He talks about how he's owned it for two years. He's losing $8,000 a month. He's done three tours in Afghanistan and performed 53 medevac operations in a 13 day period in 2000 December. This is a guy who saved lives of our guys, who putting your lives on the line. - He's a hero. - He's an absolute hero. And he goes on to talk about the fact that he sank his entire life savings into the bar. And he writes now I am almost 300,000 in debt and here's the kicker. Jon has to go back to Afghanistan. He deploys again in six months. - Jeez. - So if he leaves for Afghanistan and this bar goes down the tubes, he's gonna have to file a bankruptcy, which will affect his status in the military. And this is the one that got me guys. "I am asking, no, I am begging, for you to come help us turn this place around. We have done hundreds of medevac operations overseas, and now I am asking for a rescue of our own." - That's powerful. - How are you guys doing? You got menus, you guys get drinks, you're doing okay? - Yeah. - So there's Jon. He doesn't actually look like a guy who's in that kind of trouble. He looks sort of happy at the moment, doesn't he? - Yeah. - Hi, guys. I'm gonna get ya. - Do you wanna start with a shot of tequila? - That's Rita. Rita is a bartender. And is a friend of Jon's, I'm told the times they can be close friends. - Do you guys want a menu? Are you good? - That's Nicoll. Nicoll's other bartender. - So what is it that you wanna drink right now? - Five shots. - Are you buying or are they buying? - I'll buy this round, but they got to buy the next one. - Jon is certainly has no problem partying out. It just doesn't look like a guy whose house is on the line with 300,000 and all. - Hey Vas, how gorgeous is this one? - He's got a good degree in flirting and I'll tell you what? You can't make money doing that though. - Where's the tab? - There's Liam, another one of your bartenders. - A lot of piece snaps. - There's Ashley, a server. - Alright. I mean, I know the bar is your area, but I'm not a dummy to tell you that her finger is in the Grenadines container right there. It is a disgusting Grenadier mess. - Oh, it'll get a dripping off her fingernails. But that's disgusting. - We pour it on top of the cherry? - Off the cherry, 'cause I don't have the spoon back here. I don't know where it went. - So anything that comes off of her finger was going into that person's drink and then they're drinking it. - Yeah. And where is Jon? - Hi, ladies? - You're not taking, what are you taking? (laughing) - So one thing I'm seeing right here, Jon, is that they don't have any standard operating procedures. These bartenders, you can look. They're over pouring, under pouring. There's no rhyme or reason to what they're doing. So guys, this is Colorado Springs, is a military town. So for recount tonight, I got two military pink commanders, to come in and do recount. These guys know Colorado Springs and dying to hear how they react to this place and particularly how they react to Jon. - Can we help open the liquor cabinet? - How are you? - What can I get you guys? - Do you guys have Moscow Mules? - No. - No? Do you have something like that? - No, we don't have the 10 cups. - That's a basic, basic drink in any bar. - I think we'll have a beer. - See, one thing that Colorado is known for, is their beer. And how great it is. And their beer system right now is horrible. - Look at the foam - Oh my gosh. It's just pouring out pictures of foam. - So the fact of the matter is, that profit just went down the drain. - Well, yeah, foam is 25% beer. - So every time you pour that foam out, you're pouring money down the drain. - What is that? - He's melting the ice off of that condenser. - I've never seen this in my life. - This is what we gonna do every couple hours, 48 degrees right now. - So it's beers at 48 that's why it's foaming up. He has a humidity issue on his condenser. - Yes. - So the humidity is causing a condenser to block, then the temperature goes up, so his solution is to use a hair dryer, but the moisture is still there. So what he's doing, is he's pushing the moisture into the coils, now, when he walks out the freeze is gonna be deeper. That's like putting on dry clothes while you're standing in the rain. I've never seen anything like that. - That's sad. - Shots are always good. I would do one of those. I would definitely take one with you. - That's the second round for those girls too guys. - Who knows how many rounds for him? (beep) - Behind the bar. - He's doing drinks. (beep) - She's throwing him out of his own bar. - Bartender kicked him out of the bar. - Yeah. - I don't think I've ever seen that before. - I told him like, you wanna (beep) you better (beep) - [Man] She's getting pissed. - She is and he should know it, but he's so drunk. He's just gonna keep hugging those girls and taking pictures with those girls. - Give me a drink. Give me a.. (beep) Liam, dammit. - What's going on over here though? - Who was on that one? - That was on you. Can I get a drink please? Please can I have a (bleep) drink somebody? - Looks like Jon's making Rita jealous. Looks like she's having a couple drinks. I never get mad about it, but I'm getting mad, I'm getting ignored. You get the (beep) away from me right now. - Okay. - The owner was kind of, he was really drunk. - Was it really very awkward? - This is a hero guys. He's done this to himself. He's in a debt 300 freaking grand and look at him. - I'm done with this. (beep) I'm sick and tired of this. (beep) - All he's interested in is these girls. And drinking. - I don't care what you do. Go home with those (beep) for all I care. - Oh man. (beep) - Get the. - I've gotta stop this psycho guys. I'm gonna go in. I gotta have a heart-to-heart with him. - My family is gonna see that (beep). - What's going on in here? - No, I'm sorry, no problem. Go inside. We'll get water. - Is she all right? - Yeah, she's fine. Leave her alone, enough for tonight, go. - I feel like a fool. - Go Jon, I'm not joking right now, go? (beep) - So how are you guys doing? You guys need anything, shots? - Yeah, we're doing on your own. - Are you really? - Yeah. - Whatever you guys want. - Have another one. Go ahead have another one. Why not? Have another one with them? What's the difference at this point? You and I have some talking to do, right? - Yeah. - Okay, let's go sit down and talk. Jon is 300,000 in debt and he's losing 8,000 a month. Is he fighting for his bar? No, he's consuming it. This guy has had about 11 shots and I'm concerned the man's going to throw up while I'm talking to him. - I'm here to help you. How many times have you been deployed? - Three. - How many years have you been serving? - 16. - How many people have you medevaced out? - 30. - Hundreds. They were hurt, right? Wounded. You saved their life. The fact of the matter is to me, you're a hero. Look at you. You're sinking here. (beep) Face to you right now. Can you function in the military drunk? - Absolutely not. - You think you can function in any business drunk? - No. - What happens if this place closed? - If this place close, I have invested everything I have. - Is your house and stuff all in here?. - My house, my son-- - Everything. - Everything. - So what is this for you? Is it a place where you come and party and get laid? Or is it a place where you come to make money? - It's gotta be a place to make money. - What is it now? - A place to screw around and partying. (beep) - Do you have a personal relationship with Rita? - I do. - You do. So you have a personal with one of your employees, and in front of that employee, you're flirting and drinking with other girls at the bar. Do you understand what I'm saying? Can you hear me? - No, I hear you. - Why should I help you Jon? You're not helping yourself. You're sitting here drunk, trying to get laid with your girlfriend watching you. - Jon, I'm not trying to get laid. I'm just trying to get this bar under control. - So you got it under control tonight? - No, I don't. I don't have control. - So you didn't try to get it under control. When you came in here today, did you make any drinks. - I made a lot of drinks for myself. - Did you sell anything, - I sold a couple of things, - Did you make sure that the money's going into register? - No. - Did you make sure the place is clean? - No. - So, you didn't try to stay sober, you didn't try to clean your bar, you didn't try to make sure they're collecting money, you didn't try to sell anything, exactly, what did you try to do? Give me one, Jon. What did you do today, Jon? - Nothing. - You're drunk and you're flirting. What else did you do today, Jon? - I was right here. - Why the (beep) aren't you ashamed? - I am. (beep) - Roll up. I want you to see how your husband runs this bar when you're not around. Can you like get Omar? Are you to just, I don't know. Pick up some of the bigger stuff. - That's Josh. - That's your husband. - Oh, no. It's like, the a programmer was actually broken. - Help me with this icy mother. (beep) Get the rest of that in there for me. - Oh, sure. - Thank you. - Scrub. - Who's that? - That's Omar, a server here. - [Taffer] He's actually transferring ice from a garbage bag into the ice machine. - I swear on our application. Can you lift 75 pounds of ice? (laughing) Straight up? If not, you're not welcome here. They won't fix itself. (beep) - How is he managing this place? - You know, he can stay focused for a little bit, but then he starts to get stressed out and his way of dealing with it is to self medicate with alcohol. - How're you doing, ladies? - Hi, how are you? - I'm Josh, I'm actually the owner of the place. - Alyssa, nice to meet you. - Alyssa good to meet you. - Jackie. - Jackie? - Yeah, that's right. - Good to meet you. Hey Nichole. - Yeah. - Can you give me a beer please? - Yeah, just a second. - 86 grandma. - 86 grandma. - So that's Nichole, your manager. - Mhhh. - That's another beer or two. - Who's that? - Josh. - Let me add a shot to him. - That's Travis. Travis has actually bartended for us for awhile. - Just watch him. - I know. - Does your husband treat your staff Well? I don't think so. - Because negativity, you know, it's infectious. - How long have you owned this place? - Almost two years. - Are you doing good? - It's basically. (beep) - Did his attitude cause his failure or did the failure cause his attitude? - When we first opened, he was positive. He used to be happy and fun and enjoy life. And now he's just seems miserable all the time. He seems he just set up himself in the mind that there's no way out. - Hey you girls have something to drink? (beep) - Maybe I wouldn't be in this situation right now, dude. - Hush. - There's something going on. - Travis, he gives stuff a way? - He forgets. - You ladies want a shot? - Yeah, I'm down. - So was he a drinker when you met? - I mean, he would drink, but never like this. - Yeah lets di it. - Have an owner, your husband, who's sitting at the bar getting drunk, he hasn't been in a kitchen in a while. He hasn't looked at any tables. He doesn't know if things are coming out right. This is him, isn't it? - Yeah. - You're a white Puerto Rican? - She's Puerto Rican, I'm Cuban. - Right. - Lets play the name game real quick. What's her name? - Janice. Jackie? That's a-- (beep) Mexican name. I thought she was, you said something about Mexican. - That's not what the (beep) we said at all. - How old are you? You are like 25? - Okay lets go with that, 25. - She's 30. - No I'm 25. - Yeah, should have guessed my lines by your eyes. - Excuse-- - It's bad. It's bad. - You don't tell somebody that. - Well, I didn't mean to. I'm a little drunk, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. - Some of the things he said were not okay. Definitely feel disrespected. - Can I make another buy, like one more shot? - Yeah, lets do it. - Now if you came out with a friend, would you want him sitting next to you doing this? - Absolutely not. In fact I've left places because of that. - Of course you have, all women have. - I need a lime. - You need a lime? - Yeah. - Do you need like a diaper as well? Just cheers. - That was rude. - That was good, dude. - So now he's established himself as the owner. He's established himself as a big shot. He's demeaned everybody around him. So got you guys emails. - [Taffer] Is this the man you married? - No, not at all. - So what would be happening if I wasn't here? - We'd go out of business for sure. We would lose our house, parents would lose a huge chunk of their retirement money. - How old are you're kids? - Two and four. He brings all this lip service, about how hard he's working to help and turn this place around. And this is what he's doing. - That's incurable. - Got it when I was like 18. That was like 11 years ago. - That and those? - Yeah. - What is it saying, happy birthday? - Happy endings. We were like 19. - I love happy endings. - Now that isn't what they meant when they tattooed on their arm, was it? - No. - You're acting like a straight idiot. - You're acting like you normally act. (beep) - I'm working. (beep) - Shut up. - Don't act like you doing me a (beep) favor bro. - You're done. You're done, nope. - Seriously, Triva. - Nope. (beep) - Give me a (beep) shot. - Stop, dude, stop. - Shot. - At least Travis got the bar. - This is really hard to watch. - My purpose in being here is you. - Do you need to go in and see him. - He needs a kick in the fricking ass. Do you agree? - I agree, yes, he needs to stop. - Okay, rock his world. - Get the (beep) out of here. - Remember me? Your wife? You come home and you say, "Oh, I'm working so hard to turn around the business. I'm working--" - I am. - No, no, you're not. If you were really working hard to turn around the business, you would stop drinking, you would stop cursing in front of customers-- - Guess what? If you came in here, not too worked a little bit. - No, no. - Josh is actually blaming this on Alexia. I'm going in and putting a stop to this right away. - I'm done. I am not watching this anymore and I am not having you take the kids down the tubes with you. You either agree to stop this, recommit to this business and recommit to our family. We have put everything on the line. We have put our family on the line. You've put your parents on the line. You need, no. - Let me just finish that. Finish that and this is over. - You've been embarrassing her all night, Leaning in on these girls. And you have the, your audacity, sitting on your ass drunk, but actually blame your failure on her? - It's been tough, Jon. - Oh, sure, I know. - You're working so hard tonight. How many customers have you checked their food? - I don't know. - How many people did you make sure he rang up. You have two children at home and a wife. Do you know you're a drunk, right? - Yeah, - You know it? - I do. - You know, you're not working? So folks now, you know why I'm here. It's not because of a failing bar, it's because of a failing person. I think a man should earn the right to come home every day. You should (beep) sleep in your bar tonight. Let's go. Let's get out of here. - Get me a beer by the way. - Go, dude, you gotta go. You gotta go. No go. (beep) - Dude, you're pushing me? - Get the (beep) outta here. Get out dude. (beep) - No, no dude. Stop, stop. - Take you down. Stop it. - I know, I know. - Josh, go home. Seriously. (beep) - It's like a volcano can only build so much pressure. We all know the way it ends. - [Josh] Could someone give me a ride home dude. - The man needs a kick in the nuts. - Can you give me a ride home? - Desi has been in the bar business in this town for 25 years. `Desi is in debt $150,000, and asked me how much money he's losing every month? How much? He doesn't know. So Desi had a stroke three months ago. He's fine now. You wonder if the failing of the bar might've helped cause a stroke. - Everything's gotta be Desi has got to do it all. I got that, I got that. - All will be daddy's doing. - There's Lindsay, his daughter. - Y'all okay? - She's manager. Her dad is older, he's not as well. Now the pressure's on Lindsey to take over. She needs to take the burden off him. Physically of coming here every day. - That's your hater. Hush. - But he's not giving her the control to help him. - I'm just trying to help out with everybody. - In the kitchen is Lindsey's cousin Bethany. And she's our head cook. - I'd find, whatever. - Look at the color that cutting board. - Hasn't been bleached, hasn't been cleaned, scrubbed. - That's like mold right there. - That's been on there for weeks. Probably hundreds of bacteria. - There's Gwen, she's a bartender. Do you need something to drink, McDonald's? There's Jessica, bartender. There's Amanda, she was another bartender. - Look at the mosquito. (yelling) - They're smoking and drinking while they're working. - Smoking is legal in these bars, but not for employees and not in work areas. Obviously, can you smoke behind a bar, of course not. It's a food service preparation area. - Well, we good, don't worry about it. You owe me. - Okay. - Most of the staff have been working here for years. Every one of these employees has a bar tab and they owed Desi money. I have never seen an owner, encourage employees to drink with money they don't have. It's like steal from me, it's okay. Here's the tab. - What can I get for you? - Can I get Roman Coke? - Okay. - Do you have any kind of drink menu or specialty drinks, anything like that?. I don't have a drink menu and unfortunately I don't have a specialty drink, but I can make you whatever you want? - How about I try like a hurricane or something like that? - We don't have, I can't do a hurricane. How about at Margarita with salt? - Sounds good. - Okay, excellent. - Thanks. - You're welcome. - Down here you don't have hurricanes or signature drink. You know that's so big for us. - Can I buy you a shot? - That'd be awesome. - Thank you. - You're very welcome. Your first one's around Desi. - That's on me, I got that. - I can tell you one thing, Desi, he's allergic to money. - Free should be never expected. When you want to come out of the gate this way, now free is expected. - Exactly. - It's free and they're dumping booze in there. - There's no count system here, no measurements. She's double shot. - Yeah. - Is she pouring a drink with a cup inside of the cup pouring it into another cup to solve? - I've never seen that one before. - Well that's real class over there. - A small tube. - Gotta be doing shots over here. - Vegas bomb on Desi. - Surprised he's got a free round of shots. - This shot is disgusting. - Whatever sweetheart. - Wow, another one. - If you will put his eyes on that cash register as much as he would put it on beer, there's potential to make money here. - There's people here, but you got to charge people for drinks, Desi Romanos, home where the first one's free. (laughing) - Now he's getting smashed. - I can't even imagine how much that tab is of just free drinks tonight. - I said I need a shot? No, that's not I'm having. - You said a Vank is fine. - That's not it. - It is. - Well, you made it wrong. You didn't make it right. - It is right. - He doesn't know when to stop himself. - Dad. - My baby. - Are you doing another shot? - I don't like you. - Okay, well you make that clear. Will you remember what it was called a Dayler? - Shut up. - She is trying to calm him down, stop him. - I'm the boss, so nobody gives him a shot, okay? - Whatever. - No more drinking, but he's not listening. - Did I get what I ordered? - What did you order from me? - I would like a little shot and I would like a beer. - As the manager, I asked them not to serve you anymore. - So imagine being in Lindsey shoes. Her dad has a medical issue, he's sitting here drinking, partying. - Just say no, but I'm drinking. - So if he continues to drink this way and continues to be uncontrolled, this poor man will probably die. That's what we have to prevent. - Manda. - You really can't give them another shot. - Oh, okay, I can't I'm sorry. - I'm not the boss, no more? - I think you've had enough. - You think I've had enough. - Maybe you're done if you don't fix this shot. (yelling) I just want that one more. - Another drink? No he's not. Desi's not drinking anymore. - Behind you. - What? - Behind you - You say what? - Behind you. - [Customer] You got your bet. - Now you're the service guy ah? Speechless? There are nothing to say, dude. - Not the Tom or Jon, wow. No I'm so (beep) - You're what? - Nothing. - You've been in this business 25 years and this is what you got to show for it, really? - Not tonight. What do you mean not tonight, really? You're losing money tonight. Isn't tonight a good night to fix it? Where's your daughter? Lindsey an we talk for a minute? Come over, Desi. - Can I get a beer? I want a beer. - I said no more. - Desi put freaking beer down. Put the beer down. Takes another drink. Is the next beer more important to him than making money? - No, sir. - Are we making money? - What are you doing right here? - Is he in debt? - Yes. - How much? - Little bit. - Well, we don't know. - He doesn't know. And does he know how much money he's (beep) I'm talking, listen. Does he know how much money he's losing? No, he doesn't, does he? Does he have a retirement? - Why tonight? - 'cause I'm here tonight. That's why I would like him to act like an owner and you to act like a manager, get the bar empty, get your staff together and let's have a little meaning. - I don't want tonight. I'm gonna save your ass, boy, tonight. Isn't that better than starting tomorrow? - Not tonight, tomorrow. Not tonight. - There is no tomorrow, if you don't do it tonight, Stand with me toe to toe and I'll save your ass. - Dad please, please. - Why tonight? - Why tonight? I'll do it tomorrow. - You have to say okay. - I'm gonna walk out of here now but he's gonna tell me to stop. (beep) There's only one person that can tell me to stay, and that's you Desi. - Please. We want you to stay. - Dude. - You agree or not? - Wait a minute, one minute. One minute Jon. You caught me on surprise. - Please come back. Oh my God. - You caught me on surprise, Jon. - I caught you drunk, is how I caught you. Pull your staff together and show me it got to fricking spine, okay? Go to work. - You don't wanna see my staff. - Go to work. - Please, I love so much. You just have to, please, dad, do it. Listen, everybody has to go. For real, sorry. We shut it down. - Desi needs to understand that he has to change his behavior to change his future. Come on over guys. Let's sit and talk. - Whatever. What did I do wrong? - You guys sit down here at the bar and let's all talk. - You don't listen to what he's saying, we're not gonna -- - Come on Jon. - You do not (beep) understand it. Please, just listen to what he's saying. So what is gonna happen for real. Please, just listen to me, please. - No. - Do you really wanna talk right now in your condition and embarrass yourself more, Desi? Don't you think that's in your best interest to shut the hell up for five minutes? - Then say it, but I don't know if that's the right thing to do. - Maybe that's why you're failing, because you talk and don't freaking listen. - How far in debt is he right now? I know it, it's about $150,000. - You just know too many people. - No, I just know too much stuff and you don't like it. I also know that you had a stroke three months ago. Desi look at me. I could be at a thousand other bars right now, you get that? I live 1000 miles from here and I'm here to help you. So either you take it seriously or you don't. Up to you. You get it? - Thank you. What's your name? - It's Tina. - Tina, what's your relationship here? - Husband. - He's your husband. - Yeah. - Can he deal with the losing business right now? This is more than a business, isn't it? What are you worried about? - It's all right. - You're worried that your dad might die over this, correct? - Absolutely, we're all worried about that. - Stop that daddy. (beep) - We love you stop. - I'm fine. - Being my father, like this makes me very upset. - I will be fine, she's stupid. - Do you know why Lindsey did that? - She loves you and listen, we do care. We don't want something bad to happen to you. It's your daughter. - She's scared for the health of her daddy. Where's Lindsey? - She's not coming back. - She'll come. - You chased you're daughter away, good guy. - I love her more than life. - It shows. - What the (beep) are to try to say? I'm trying to do this right. - No, you're not. - I'm so trying. (beep) - And look at me and say, you understand that you're drunk and that you failed tonight, and that you will come back here sober tomorrow, and be sober all week and work to improve this, and then I will help you. - Did you rehearse what you just (beep) said? - I don't rehearse a (beep) thing. - I got to do everything you just said? - Yes. - Just show up tomorrow sober. - You gotta be sober and you gotta come back. That's nothing, you can do that. You do that a lot. You can do that. - To hell with you guys. - Jon, please. - Have Lindsey, give me a call. - You're a Dick. - And you're broke. - I'll take one more (beep) beer. - Hey who wants a shot? No matter who want a shot, when they order I give them. - There's Keith, an owner. There's his wife, Amanda. - When somebody orders shots, I always give one. That's what you need to know. - You've done. Absolutely nothing all night. - That's all, I've been drinking. - Perfect, do nothing, what's new? - Barbara, the women's bathroom is full of people. - Your job is to sit down and just drink with your friends. - Barbara is Amanda's mom. Barbara lent them $60,000. Imagine the pressure when they don't make money and mom doesn't get her money back. They're losing now $5,000 a month, they're in debt about a quarter of a million dollars. They have kids, their houses are on the line and this has become a family crisis. - Well, if you've got to slide that up, I didn't print it. - DJ, stop fooling and learn (beep) computer. - Get somebody to teach me right away and maybe I'll learn a quicker. - That's DJ, his a bartender. - Well, how long was is you say they have something? - If the system was better, we could do it real quickly. - That's Taco is a bartender. - Who's the five shots for? - There's Cassie, she's another bartender. - Trudi, another bartender. And there's Carlos, a cook. So Aaron, this is really an important food bar. We're in one of the culinary capitals of the world. People come here to eat. So food is critical. I brought in a president of my consulting group, Izzy Karish, to come in and do recon with you. - All right. They're gonna see your chef coat. - It's okay, let them assume, but don't tell him you're with me. - Okay, all right, buddy. - I'll see you inside. - Okay, cool. - How are we doing fellows? - What can I get for y'all? - I'm gonna have a Sazerac, you guys make 'em? - No, we don't, my man. We don't have what we need to make a Sazerac. - And what is the cocktail of new Orleans? - Oh, I don't know, a Sazerac? - How about old fashioned? - I can do you a version of Old fashion. - Let's give it a try. - That's Margarita. - Margarita. Alright cool. - What is the shaking with? A plastic cup? - So they have no tools, no glass mixing cups. You walk in to a bar and you see a cup sitting upside down on top of a pourer, what does that tell you? - Bugs. - You have to have a proper pour cover that seals it. 'cause they're going to get in through that cup. - Margarita. No, wait. Margarita is the other way, I'm sorry. - Plastic. A rocks glass. - Wow, okay. This is nothing like an old fashioned. - Not even close. - Assume you got some friends over here. - Hey, will you learn to clean, would be no floods. - Give me some rags and I can clean. - Amanda is the bar owner, I just drink here. - You're an owner as well. You're an owner as well. You don't give a-- (beep) - No one wants to do their (beep) jobs. - Clearly they both resent each other for not pulling their own weight. - Let's see, how about loaded tots? - I think definitely the Canter burger. Wanna do the pol'boy? - Absolutely, but that should cover us for awhile, - She has customers ordering food, ordering drinks, she's playing darts. - Shots, come on. - What's the chance to begin with the kit. It's with less ice. It's a shot, not a (beep) drink. - Be sure you bring it up on your chair. - Why did they keep making all these shots? - Keep making it just for the staff. - Does anybody want a shot. - Elon and Izzy have ordered food, right? And there's nobody in the kitchen making the food. So you're all here having shots. (cheering) - Not a poor bear, but it was delicious. - Taco give me a big cup please. I think I can do it. (cheering) - That little show going on over here. - But she's partying in the bar, that they're losing money in. - Sad. - [Woman] What about the husband? Just sitting at the bar drinking, he does not care at all. - So every time she talks, he has another shot. - Twerking the money right down the drain. - Hey, you're sucking like. - Wow. - Can you stop? - Stop what? (beep) - I don't understand what you're (beep) thinking. - Amanda is just as guilty as Keith for not running this business properly. She is not the victim here. - But you're offending me with you over there pumping your ass with all the people over there. That's not offending me? - Shut up. - Oh, that's all right though. That's all right. - All we need is that po'boy. - Spend about 30 minutes for our food. - So what did we order that we didn't get? - The po'boy. - Have you been in that kitchen? - At some point, yes. - Is it clean back there? He's not using gloves, he's not washing his hands, he's wiping the raw chicken on the same rag in his pocket. I can't let you guys eat this. Come over here, big mouth. What kind of man sits on his ass, taking shot after shot and looks at his wife and says that's not my job? Are you cool losing 5,000 a month? - No, I'm not cool loosing 5,000 a month. - Are cool being in debt. How far in debt are you, tell me? - 250,000. - You sit at the bar, you twerk, you have another drink when she does that, don't you? - Absolutely. - And then you don't help her, and this is the cycle. - Aaron McCargo is an expert to help me train. I want you to see what a professional chef will tell you in your kitchen. Now you wanna lose money, that's one thing, you get people sick, that's unreasonable. Nobody should be eating food in this place, no one. - No, can't be serious. This is ridiculous. - There are things I need to be done. - Do you ever brush this grill down? - We've tried to keep it brushed. - This is is your brush? - Can you even use that? - Hold up, look at your hood. - Oh, man. There's a grease trap down there. Look at this guys that can't even breathe. Bring your whole freaking place down. This is 250. This is your fricking life - Apparently (beep) this down. - Hold up, hold up. What is this? - I didn't use that today. I cut it, I got it right here. - But why is it here? - Oh it smells. - I haven't got a chance to get to it yet. - So what did you do tonight that you didn't have a chance to get to it? - I started cooking, I had a prep. I had to do everything and get everything ready for the night. - You can feel how soft this is, cause it's not cold. What is this? Is this dated? What color do you think this should be? - That's how it comes. - When is this from? - That was here when I got here. We don't know. - I need my medicine. - Here's the deal. You clean this kitchen tonight and proved to me that this means something to you. Unbelievable. - Sit over here. Sit right here. Sit right here. (Amanda crying) - Take a deep breath and just hang on. - Jon came in and ripped us apart. Between the bar, the kitchen, my anxiety went on overdrive. You know it's bad, but you don't realize it's that bad until someone just slaps you in the face with it. (beep) (upbeat music) - Hi, this is Jon Taffer.
