Super Mario Odyssey but it's my first time in the Mushroom Kingdom

i need to start this video by saying thank you to everyone for watching my super mario odyssey playthrough this is an amazing game and i'm so glad that so many people are enjoying seeing my first playthrough of this game this is a game that i've wanted to play for years and it is because of you that i finally have the chance to play this game i can't believe it but somehow the videos have gotten millions of views and today we are at the mushroom kingdom for the first time ever so thank you so much for watching and i really hope you enjoyed this video all right man this is amazing okay i know in super mario 64 if you run circles around them then coins come out i don't think that happens in this game you could probably also use cappy to pull them out yes oh that's how you get the know and this is a joke i made in a past video say we are floating around like a galaxy there should be a game called super mario galaxy and if there is a sequel then they should make a super mario galaxy 2. and a lot of people had comments told me about but cx mini there is a game called mario galaxy and there is also a mario galaxy too uh that's very funny it's very nice of people to point out that there is in fact a game called mario galaxy and mario galaxy 2. all right so let's head out of here okay that's lovely so we took care of that pipe i wonder if they're going to be a bunch of this tower though or no let's see and maybe if we get nice and high like this maybe we'll be able to find the final sheep i'm not expecting there to be a sheep on that island way up there now where are the sheep mario will be the ultimate sheep herder the final sheep is probably somewhere back there do you take fall damage in this game or not i can't remember i think you don't take full damage i think mario just kind of gets the shivers he gets the heebie-jeebies when he drops from very high okay let's take a motor scooter let's look for another you know what okay there are some coins in there we could get in there after though oh oh how did i not lose the motor scooter while in the water that was so weird the captain went to the shop what do you have to say seems like all things that is fun he looks very surprised now then where's the final sheep where's the final sheep there's lots of stuff around here now what are these apples for they kind of look like the apples from super mario world that you make yoshi eat so i'm guessing maybe you make yoshi eat those maybe if yoshi eats all of these apples we can get something oh wait wait wait do we want a goomba stack maybe we want to stack up all of the goombas let's see if that's what we want to do let's see come over here goombas maybe there's a goomba panel that we need let's see come on over here jump up on them yeah what a big goofa stack we've got let's go and what about these come on over bro jump jump mario okay if you shake the controller there it is there it is there's the final sheep but now my question is is there something that we want to do with this goomba stack while we have this large stack of goombas is there maybe a goomba button that we have to press somewhere it would make sense if there was but i don't see one around okay there's a shiny spot right there does that mean that we just have to ground pound there i'm not seeing a goomba switch anywhere wait wait wait wait wait wait do we have to bring over all these goombas to you we have to bring over a goomba stack to her it's like uh what's her name pauline mayor pauline is it pauline or paulina i can't remember can we make that jump okay i guess we can't i guess that is not what you want to do there's probably a different way to bring over the goombas or a goomba to her i don't know if we have to bring over all the then he'll let you in okay but first my first priority right now is bringing over that final sheep and then we can start to explore this level some more because right now what i'm scared of is okay wonder if we get a multi-moon for this or just a regular moon because this was a lot of work it's a lot of work getting six sheep here just one just one for all of that work thank you thank you so so so much well at least the toad is happy all right that was a lot of work for this moon but hey the toad's happy so that's okay that's what matters the most and you know what there's that tower back there there's that tower back there okay that tower it looks like it does actually have an entrance so here is the tower from i think this was this might have been the first tower that we saw actually so let's see let's see it looks like it has an entrance will we re-battle another boss in here maybe a brutal and the music that plays it's the peaches castle theme from super mario 64 that plays and the walls they even have clouds on them like in super mario 64. oh my goodness the detail in this is amazing oh and it even plays the it even plays like when you enter a level the theme it goes like oh oh it looks like wait were these rolling things like this in the original boss fight i can't remember if they were but this certainly makes it look a lot more difficult there's quite a bit that you have to avoid over here you have to avoid the spiky balls that are being shot at you and oh yeah oh we actually want to roll up here and what do we oh bro bro how could you do this how dare you do this to me tremendous yes we were a tree we would say that is tree mendez let's break all these things so it's oh a heart very nice whoop stop shooting these spikes at me spikes are forbidden how dare defeat us okay nice a triple moon a multi moon please tell me we're not defeated by the you know what okay good they disappear thank goodness okay we have only one heart so let's just grab this moon quickly it's funny how uh mario just like suddenly appeared it's like we could see the lava bubble that we had captured then all of a sudden mario popped up but there we go what a cool boss fight blow up at mount volbono rematch so i guess maybe the rematches are made to be a bit more difficult this one i don't know if this one was more difficult than the original i don't remember if the original had those spike uh have those spike bars or not but when we face the messiah whatever i think that one octopus boss i think his name is like messier something when we faced him i think that that one wasn't more difficult i think it was actually easier because i remember the first time i was facing that boss i wasn't sure exactly what we had to do oh that's so cool how you could just get these boosts like this this is probably how you're supposed to do the cooper race wait did i get this one yet oh that's the one that lets you get up there you know let's go up there okay mario just just calm down mario let's just get up here and let's get our yoshi i'm ready for our yoshi oh wait wait wait first let's do this let's do this let's get that one right there without running off very nice and where's this wait is it that flag appears do you have to shake the controller or something i'm shaking the controller no you've still got a lot of time and so we made it up here what is there gonna be a moon up here or something i i imagine there's probably gonna be a moon all the way up here because why else would we have to climb up like this come on just let me climb up just a bit more wait let me up here wow you can see the whole of the mushroom kingdom oh so oh there's a moon right up there well a star i guess there's stars in this kingdom okay and there are three apples over there so you know what let's head over there then you know what wasn't i climbing up that one specifically and i was saying it looks like there aren't any stars here all right we got it wait and the theme that plays when you get a moon in this kingdom i think it's also the super mario 64 theme for when you get a star okay so let's get yoshi over here and let's see let's go eat some of these apples with yoshi and let's see what happens wait somehow i got up here what in the world i can't climb any higher but somehow i'm holding on to this oh i didn't expect that we would jump off like that i wonder if how are we supposed to get that apple oh no i keep doing this i keep losing yoshi so i fall into this water right here okay let's go over here let's see what happens when we finally eat these apples wait can we like pump out juice or something why is that filling up oh maybe when it fully fills up that's when we get the that's when we get a moon maybe we get a power moon for eating all of them can we oh that's so funny you can attack the sheep with your tug like that okay can we get these i want to be careful to not go into the water because when you go into the water i'm pretty sure you lose yoshi when you go into the water now then some more wait can we eat the mushrooms oh mushrooms just give you coins whoa wait your tongue like pulls you to things does it work on into it then yoshi automatically eats it i only need a bit more just a few more apples maybe the last few apples that we need are the ones oh wait but there are a few over here too let's see we're almost full what happens when it's full oh we get a star for that okay okay whoa that's so weird how we pop out of the yoshi there it looks like there's a hole in the yoshi's head wait can you see give it a try yes alright get up on there let's do it let me explain how picture match works see this character's face writer here take a good look because you are going to have to put it back together capture the facial features with your chapel then rotate move and place them oh and each time you place a facial feature it will disappear you feel um i i think my french accent is starting to turn german learn boys based on how well you recreated the face a passing score is 60 points this is almost like a mario party superstars mini game okay let's see oh um oh bad oh battle battle man man i imagine if someone's doing a speedrun where they have to collect every moon in this game imagine coming over here and you have to talk to toadette man doing like 5 000 cappy throws so i guess you'd probably be doing like cappy throws and jumps just constantly in this game okay at least we do have some beautiful music playing here okay wait if we look up there can we look up there and go to the wing cap stage does it work like that in this game i don't know if there is a way to zoom in is there a button oh wait i guess there's snapshot mode but i don't think it with snapshot mode if you look up there i don't think that'll teleport you okay i probably get to there from a different kingdom i don't know if there's a way for us to make it across like this right like there's no way we're you know what i never realized this before when you look at the map on the sides there's so much detail about all of the kingdoms like over here a lovely portrait in glass because princess peach is so often absent from her kingdom her citizens took it upon themselves to create a stained glass portion of her on the castle balcony that's so funny yeah because she's always being kidnapped while a pale reflection of the genuine article the portrait brings comfort to the citizenry when the princess can't be with them that's so funny and there's even stuff here to the side where it's like hey go relax by the fountain and the woods are kind of scary they tried to grow mushrooms here but then goombas came and like you go swimming here it's a nice place to swim and then there are places that you can visit over here wait oh i guess each of these give you a start i thought that we have to get all four and then we get one star but it looks like each of these that you plant give you a star okay okay so there's two so if we can find two more then we'll get at least two more stars i don't know if you get a bonus star for for growing all four of them maybe that'll make the toad really happy and it'll give you another bonus star but wow okay so i definitely want to be on the lookout for those then for those little gold things those little gold fruits that we can plant there where could they be and i'd like to get in there i don't know if i have the mario 64 cap let's see wait is this one of them this is one of them we found it ah right man they're in some sneaky sneaky little spots funny five six is this one that one down there is eight so seven will be off to this side so let's do this oh and i gotta read those signs i wonder what that sign will say when you unlock luigi by going even that scary like we finished the fight with three hearts left it is a bit difficult to avoid some of those attacks but this is probably maybe one of the less scary ones i think that messier octopus guy whatever his name is i think he's one of the least scary ones but yeah you guys can see over here that it's actually the next date because i had to work on editing a different video to get out because i've been doing daily uploads for a bit over a year now so i couldn't finish the mushroom kingdom in a single day i just had well i don't know if it's just this boss left there might still actually be some more to the mushroom kingdom now cool and there's a little cat mario here but you know what i've spent like the last half hour looking for where these final three coins might be what the no way i can't believe it i can't believe it oh my goodness they're in here i could have sworn that i checked this river before or sorry this pawn oh my goodness but there we go finally all 100 i can't believe it i can't believe that's where the last three were right there because yeah i've definitely been in there i definitely faced that boss but i actually can't believe that i didn't see those before oh my goodness i spent like half an hour exploring this level just looking for where those vital coins could be and now finally we can say that we have purchased everything from the purple guy in this kingdom my goodness [Music] oh you don't even get a power mood for that i thought the baby would get a power bit they'd be like hey good job you bought everything mario but mario don't pop my balloon balloon okay so the odyssey needs 84 more and we got about 80. i think this looks like we have 80 over here because there's eight rows and there's 10 per row so that would be 80. so we can actually almost head to the next kingdom i'm guessing that there is an x kingdom because it says 84 more but before we go to the next kingdom i'm probably going to go back to some of the previous kingdoms some of my favorite kingdoms and get some moons that i missed because the first day that i ever played this game i was trying to beat the game in a single day i think i played the game for like eight hours or something and then i made two videos out of it like two and a half or so hours each and we just ended up getting just the regular ending for the game and we stopped when we got to the mushroom kingdom and today we played through the mushroom kingdom or at least as much as i was able to figure out in these few hours that i just played today so yeah i'd really like to play some more of this i'm enjoying this game so much oh my goodness and it's funny that i've played and made mods for this game but i still haven't 100 completed the game there are even some kingdoms that i haven't been to yet like i've heard that there's something called the dark side kingdom i'm guessing that's probably the next one and i don't know if there's another kingdom after that or if that's the last one but i guess we'll find out when we get to that yeah i just want to say i appreciate so much you guys that have watched this far into the video it is amazing to have you guys along on this journey whether you've watched through just this video or whether you've watched through all three of the odyssey playthrough videos like my first time playing through super mario odyssey and then my first time here in the mushroom kingdom all three of those videos i it's just amazing having you along on this journey this is such a fun game and it's always so fun to see someone experience a game that you love for the first time this is a game that i've just been wanting to play for so long and it's so great to finally have the chance to play it it's just wow it's amazing that i get to
