amen uh just a few things i want to say uh before i read the scripture and doing a prayer this morning just want to say good morning to all of our officers uh deacon morass dick and ross nicodemus deacon jones and a special shout out to deacon uh daniel campbell this morning amen amen and to all of our other officers i want to thank those that uh came out on yesterday to help give our communion i want to say good morning to all those that did come by and pick up your communion on yesterday was beautiful it was nice to see you uh nice to be able to greet you and talk to you some of you uh i haven't seen in a long time but to god be the glory amen amen amen amen i want to just send a special shout out to all of our breathe in the church sister uh claire williams and family and there are others that i don't have the name for this morning we just want to want to let you know that we're praying for you and your family and your our sorrow also too uh while i'm on it um the covet virus is still rampant out there and uh dr mccloud and his office is still giving or giving out shots so all of those that have not or decided yet to to go and get your shot please call uh mulberry medical and uh go over and get your covet shot hey man uh there there's a there's a lot of myth that's going on out there about the the shot but i tell you we all need to get a shot that's all i'm gonna say on that amen amen and last but not least uh on the third sunday of this month we will be celebrating our pastor's 44th anniversary here at the rest amen amen and we're going to kick things off on saturday october the 16th with our parade of blessings there was a phone call on friday with all the auxiliary heads to kind of give you a little bit of information on the parade we wanted this to be a drive-through uh we're gonna meet up out there at patterson field at 12 and at one we want to start lining up and starting the possession to come this way amen and once just drive up the past first lady will be here and we just want to shower them with blessings on that that day and then on that sunday we want to shout with even more blessings amen amen amen amen for 41 years our pastors have been here singing preaching teaching praying and all of that amen amen and uh throughout this pandemic i've seen him do quite a lot of works out there and uh we just need to show him some love on that day show the first family some love on that weekend not just that day amen amen our scripture reading this morning this is the first sunday in october um matthew chapter 28 and it reads and jesus came and spake unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost teaching them to observe all things whatsoever i have commanded you and lo i am with you always even until the end of the world amen let us pray our father i stretch my hand to thee no other help that i know if thou withdraw thyself from me oh whether shall i go gracious heavenly father is once again you have allowed us to assemble into the house of worship those that have assembled to watch us via youtube and facebook the heavenly father and many other apparatuses this morning dear heavenly father we just invite your holy spirit into this place and into this service today dearly father the only father we ask right now that you just bless the man that you have stationed here for some 40-something years the hell and father let him down into your storehouse this morning the heavenly father and let us open up our hearts and receive what thus says the lord this morning the heavenly father the only father we pray right now for our breathe that is among us the heavenly father those that are sick the hell and father there are those that are going to have surgery on next week the healing father you know them i don't have to name them one by one the hell and father you know them i just ask that you just meet them the hell and father be with them during their hour the hell and father the only father i ask right now to just continue to bless the pilgrimage nation dearly father continue to shine your blessings upon them the heavenly father then the father unit promise every day will be sunny the hell the father we thank you for the sunshine we thank you for the rain we thank you for the storms of life that sometimes keep on raging but our soul has been anchored in you dear healing father and we're just going to continue to give you the praise glory and honor that is due unto you the heavenly father the heavenly father as we prepare for our communion dear hell and father create in us a clean heart and renew our right spirits right now there and the father the only father i ask right now that you just continue to bless our our students the heavenly father our teachers the heavenly fathers and all the staff that work at all of these schools the hell and father keep them safe the heavenly father the only father we ask right now to just bless and we pray for our government the heavenly father those that are local there and the father and those that are uh there in d.c the heavenly father allow them to make the right decisions the hell the father and the hell the father is this this virus is running rapidly hell and father we just asked for your your healing power ready now dale and father for we know that if we just continue to put our trust in you you'll make everything all right you told us that trouble don't last always the heavenly father the only father when it's our time to study war no more but we must give up this life here on earth dear heavenly father we ask for a home somewhere in our kingdom while we can praise thee forevermore this is your and let god do what he does best because nobody can beat him doing what he does he's god by himself this was a this was a time of decision for moses and the children of israel but buckner i just want to tag this text this morning and talk about how do you find your way when you just can't see your way how do you do it this was a tough time for the israelites see going through some stuff and they didn't know what was going to happen they didn't know how things were going to come out but if you trust god things will work out for the good of those who love him my brothers and sisters one thing i have discovered about life and that is we know how to get ourselves into tough tight situations but most time we don't have a clue of how to get out most of us can make a mess and i tell young folk and old folk too getting in trouble doesn't take much effort you get in trouble at the snap of your finger but once you're in it sometimes it takes almost a lifetime to get out it's unfortunate disturbing heart-wrenching to consider that these days so many of us are trying watch this to do so much on our own strength and might there are things that we are just not equipped to do or to handle on our own and we forget that philippians 12 and 9 write this down said declare that his strength is made perfect in our weakness we forget that psalm 46 1 says god is a refuge and strength very present help in the time of trouble the one thing about trouble is trouble has no respect to a person and we all will find ourselves at some point in time dealing with life difficulties it doesn't matter who you are it doesn't matter what you have it doesn't matter where you live how many degrees you have every now and then trouble pays all of us a visit well i can prove it job says in job 14 1 man that is born i feel pretty good this morning of a woman ends up a few days full of trouble then paul says we're troubled every hand on every side but we're not in the stress perplexed not in despair cast down but not forsaken nor destroyed we will all watch this my brothers and sisters have our time or dilemmas but the question is how do we handle trouble when it knocks on our door are y'all listening is there anybody interested well it is some folks try to sleep it away others try to smoke it away some try to cry away many have tried to light away some try to drink it away and some try to just wish it away but that's not the antidote not the panacea for our problems what you can do is put your problem in the hand y'all help me here of divine wisdom and divine knowledge because first of all he knows let me just stop there he knows he knows how much we can bear he knows how much to put on us because he know what we can bear and secondly he specializes in things that are impossible somebody help me preach my little summer man and he can do what no other power can do write this down jeremiah 33 3 says call on me and i will answer thee and i will show the great thing that god knoweth not us we call some time on the wrong folks the folk we calling on got more problems and we have you got to learn how to call on the lord in the day of trouble and he'll he'll show up he'll answer you somebody help me here he'll answer you am i talking to anybody this morning by facebook youtube or even in this sanctuary that ever found yourself in an exodus 14 situation where your back was against the wall your faith was fading your friends were few your options were limited and all you could see was death destruction and the cave and washed it but god [Applause] but god stepped in and snatched victory from the jaws of the feet anybody in here know god can do he will deliver and it ain't over until god says that it's over i don't care what folks say don't care how they surmise i don't know how they plot their scheme they plan it doesn't matter my bible says if god it's for you who can be against you seven he's more my bible says in in psalm 34 19 minutes of the afflictions of the righteous but god i don't have no health here but god delivers us from them all let me deviate and digress just for a minute is there anybody who will be a staunch witness this morning that i know god will deliver i know god will come through i've seen him i've tried him i know him there have been times in my life it didn't look like things were gonna come out all right but god [Music] what do you do but what do you do when you can't see your way out don't know what to do here it is write it down here it is it's simple proverbs 3 5 and 6 trust in the law stop trusting your money stop trusting your buddies stop trusting folks who told you i'll be with you but you can never find them when you need them trust help the holy ghost in the lord with all of that heart and tired of you we have had enough for you the bible tells us in romans 8 37 that we are more than conquerors through jesus christ who loves us revelation 12 1 tells us we are overcomers by the blood of the lamb and every word of our testimony we are tired tired of you just in case devil you didn't get the message on my way to my runway i come to tell you we come to tell your kingdom now you've been building your kingdom all over the world but the choir is going to sing it down mm-hmm the mothers are going to moan it down yeah the deacons are going to pray it down and the preachers are going to preach it down in our texts the children of israel [Music] were facing you don't send me what looked like an insurmountable obstacle it is the red sea was in their path [Music] and pharaohs army were close i like this watch it the people marius started murmuring and grumbling and now moses you understand me wildson between a rock and a hard place [Music] because [Music] moses was listening for a word from the lord and god didn't say a mumbling word you know you know you know you know you know you know [Music] sometimes we find ourselves in uh situations and surrounding where we are saturated by unbelievables and uh they just don't believe in the word of god but write this down psalm 107 verse 20 says he sent his word and his word heal them write this down psalms 119 verse 11 said lord you're [Applause] a lamp into my feet and a light unto my pair write this down isaiah 40 and he said the grass [Music] withered the flowers feed but the word of god will stand forever i wish i had about 500 of you who know something about the word of god will make you strong when you're weak the world will put joy down [Music] [Applause] [Music] couldn't hear a word from the lord but what he did here he had the israelites complaining murmuring and grumblings and this it would have been better off for us to serve down in egypt it is they said it would have been better for us to say sin help here the egyptians were out of egypt but egypt was not out of them i'm a country boy they tell me you can take their man out their country but can't take the country out the man the egyptian steel the israelites rather had an egyptian mentality can y'all help me close an egyptian mentality will keep you broke an egyptian mentality will keep you busted and disgusted an egyptian mentality will keep you blind but can i close when i tell y'all what moses told the children of israel in verse 13 he told them listen i hear you murmuring and i hear you grumbling i hear you complaining but do me one favor fear not did y'all hear what i said he said phil not let me tell you to touch something and all of y'all listen to me you cannot become engulfed in fear because fear becomes a factor is not of god [Music] [Music] yes evidence appearing real can i talk to somebody don't let the devil steal your joy don't let the devil feel you up with fear because you have got to be able to replace fear with a thing called faith f-a-i t-h because as people of god we walk by faith and not by sight as children of god the children shall live by faith and it takes y'all they faith help me to please god hebrews 11 1 says now faith is a substance of things from the evidence of things not seen i can't see everything but i am a believer when y'all came in this morning and sat down on these you didn't check them because they were intact last sunday and you just assumed because they held you last sunday they gonna hold you today but that's called favor and can i close when i tell somebody that's what you got to do when it comes to your god and my love you got to learn not to question everything but just sprawl yourself out on him knowing god is able to evil without anybody here no guardian i got a closer they're saying this he tell them stanfield y'all they're gonna talk to me sometimes we get caught up in the quagmires of life and decision making for god is moving on our behalf and we're doing all the moving bb king told me to tell you be careful how you move because sometimes when you move god is trying to move to all i'm telling you is don't make him move [Music] of chastisement of our peace was laid upon him and by those stripes we are healed on thursday night before friday's crucifixion he carried his disciples into the upper room bless the bread told them this is my body broken for you take ye now and eat likewise thereafter he took the cup blessed it passed it to them and said this is my blood shed it in the new testament for the remission of sins of
